Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effectiveness of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in mathematics learning in primary schools through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) conducted in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. The review process consists of four main stages, namely identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. The data sources were obtained from articles indexed in Scopus published between 2016 and 2025, which used quantitative or mixed-methods approaches and involved primary school students as subjects. Fifteen articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed further. Findings confirmed that AR technology is efficacious in improving students' spatial skills, critical thinking, and drive to learn. In addition, AR improves long-term memory retention and makes geometric concepts, such as rotation and spatial orientation, more tangible. From an affective standpoint, using AR makes learning fun and can help children feel less anxious about mathematics. Overall, the effectiveness of AR is multidimensional, covering the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The limitation of this study lies in the restricted scope of data sources and research types, which may limit the generalizability and contextual depth of the findings. As a recommendation, further research is needed to explore the use of AR in greater depth to strengthen mathematical thinking and reasoning skills.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country which becomes the third largest producer of rice in the world. However, Indonesia still carries out rice importing and the rice is classified high-priced. One of the factors causing those problems is the lack of efficiency of rice milling process. Pandeglang Regency is a region which has the largest rice field in Banten. As the largest agricultural territory and a qualified rice producer, it must be possible to have rice-milling means. The rice-milling process does not always produce a constant output amounts, it can be increased or decreased, despite the use of a constant input amounts. Thus, efficiency measuring of rice-milling process is needed to find out the output increase or input decrease used in rice-milling process in order to reach an efficient point. Method applied in measuring the efficiency is AHP/DEA method. Based on acquired research results, the efficiency level at the research location was 90.01% in which from 11 rice-milling processes there was one inefficient rice-milling process which was the C rice-milling process.Keyword: AHP/DEA; efficiency; inefficiency; rice milling process.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process for students with special needs in Grade I at SDN Sumbersari 1 in Malang City, which functions as an inclusive school. The subjects of this study were Grade I teachers and shadow teachers. The method used in this study was a qualitative approach with a case study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the data analysis components according to Braun and Clarke, which consisted of six stages, including: (1) familiarisation with the data, (2) initial coding, (3) theme construction, (4) theme re-examination, (5) theme definition and naming, and (6) writing a qualitative research report. The results showed that the learning process for students with special needs in Grade I at SDN Sumbersari 1 consisted of planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. SDN Sumbersari 1 has an Individual Learning Programme (PPI) and Special Assistant Teachers (GPK). At the planning stage, the identification and assessment of learning modules, learning resources, and media used are the same as for regular students, but the learning process is simplified. The implementation of learning consists of an introduction, core activities, and a conclusion using approaches, methods, and media tailored to the abilities and characteristics of the students. The evaluation was conducted flexibly according to the individual abilities of the students, such as observing behaviour and coordinating intensively with parents regarding learning tasks and activities. The main challenges in inclusive learning lie in the limited time available to classroom teachers to give individual attention and the suboptimal division of roles between classroom teachers and Special Assistant Teachers (GPK) in assisting students with special needs during learning. These findings indicate a gap between the demands of inclusion policies, which are individualistic in nature, and the suboptimal division of tasks between classroom teachers and special education teachers (GPK) in the implementation of learning. The practical implications of this study are the need to strengthen school policies regarding a clear division of tasks between classroom teachers and SPAs, improve teacher training on differentiated learning strategies, and develop a more planned model of collaboration between schools and parents. These recommendations are expected to support the implementation of more effective inclusive education in primary schools.

Abstract

This study examines inclusive assessment as a fundamental paradigm shift grounded in the principles of equity and equal opportunity. It emphasizes recognizing and valuing student diversity, particularly the unique potential of students with special needs, rather than measuring conformity to a single standard. The implementation of formal assessment in inclusive schools requires extensive modifications and accommodations. Common accommodations include extended time and adjustments to assessment formats, such as large-print texts and illustrated questions. These are based on individual assessments and aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). In practice, most educators modify the content and format of standard assessments to ensure pedagogical fairness and provide equal opportunities for students to demonstrate their competencies. Beyond evaluation, modified assessment serves as a crucial diagnostic tool. It helps identify students’ learning needs, facilitates targeted interventions, and contributes to improved learning outcomes and self-confidence among students with special needs. Although its effectiveness depends on consistency, collaboration, and data-driven observation, modified assessment represents a meaningful commitment to valuing each student’s learning process and unique potential in inclusive education.

Abstract

[English]: Difficulties in solving fraction word problems remain a persistent challenge in elementary mathematics education, as students struggle to translate written situations into appropriate mathematical representations and corresponding operations, or vice versa. This study explores how visual representation contributes to primary students’ ability to solve fraction word problems. Despite fractions being fundamental for mathematics advancement, students struggle with translating written problems into mathematical operations. Through a systematic literature review following the PRISMA framework, 28 peer-reviewed articles that were published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed from Semantic Scholar, ERIC, and Scopus databases using the SPIDER tools for keyword selection. The findings reveal that area models were most frequently used, followed by number lines, bar models, and set models. Furthermore, the findings suggest that visual representations are associated with improved performance in solving fraction word problems and may support students’ conceptual understanding of fractions by organizing information and providing concrete illustrations of abstract concepts.

Abstract

The complex supply chain system for the sugar agroindustry supply chain involves many actors, resulting in the asymmetry of information data. It still leads to a lack of data transparency. In the past, data traceability could not be made efficient at every stage, so the record data transaction was not real-time, less accurate, and inefficient coordination between actors. Blockchain is one of the technologies in the 4.0 era as a distributed ledger technology. It can be transparency, traceability, security, immutability, and decentralization. This study aims to design a white sugar agroindustry system based on blockchain technology using the SDLC waterfall stage public. Ethereum is a proof-of-work convention based on the Ropsten test-net on the Metamask wallet. The sugar supply chain system that has been successfully developed allows consumers to track the purchased sugar products based on the transaction hash code sent by the seller. The data listed is the location of the plantation, the quantity (quintal) and quality of sugarcane (percentage), and the purchase price. A web-based blockchain application could be used as a model by national sugar factories to help them make enough sugar food for themselves.

Abstract

Inclusive education reflects a national commitment to guaranteeing every individual’s right to education, yet its implementation continues to face challenges. This study examines the complexity of implementing differentiated instruction at SDN X, Mojokerto Regency, as a representation of inclusive practices in public elementary schools. Using a case study design, the research involved classroom teachers, the principal, and parents as participants. Data were collected through validated interviews and classroom observations, then analyzed using data triangulation based on the Miles and Huberman framework. The findings reveal that differentiated instruction has been implemented through flexible content modification, the use of varied learning media, and adjustments to learning time. However, its implementation remains suboptimal due to the absence of Special Education Teachers and the lack of an inclusive education team. Theoretically, the study indicates that the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in inclusive settings depends not only on teachers’ pedagogical competence but also on strong collaboration between schools and parents through the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Practically, the findings highlight the need to strengthen structural support by providing Special Education Teachers, establishing an inclusion team, enhancing teacher capacity, and fostering sustained collaboration with relevant stakeholders to ensure more effective and sustainable implementation of differentiated instruction
