Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mahasiswa melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan menelusuri dan mensintesis artikel-artikel penelitian dari berbagai database jurnal ilmiah yang terbit dalam dekade terakhir, dengan fokus pada studi yang mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan alat-alat berbasis AI seperti chatbot, sistem umpan balik otomatis, simulator percakapan, dan aplikasi pelatihan bahasa. Hasil penelitian secara konsisten menunjukkan bahwa AI berperan signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan latihan yang aman, personal, dan adaptif, dimana mahasiswa dapat berlatih keterampilan berbicara, menulis, presentasi, dan bahkan komunikasi nonverbal tanpa rasa cemas akan penilaian. Teknologi ini terbukti efektif dalam memberikan umpan balik yang instan dan objektif mengenai aspek-aspek spesifik seperti kosakata, tata bahasa, kelancaran, pelafalan, dan struktur ide, sehingga tidak hanya meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mahasiswa tetapi juga mendorong pembelajaran mandiri dan percepatan penguasaan kompetensi komunikasi yang sangat krusial untuk kesiapan kerja mereka.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis strategi implementasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam manajemen pendidikan serta mengidentifikasi studi kasus dan praktik terbaik (best practice) yang telah terbukti efektif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui telaah kritis terhadap artikel ilmiah, laporan studi kasus, buku, dan publikasi terpercaya terkait pemanfaatan AI di sektor pendidikan dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk menyaring pola dan prinsip utama. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi lima pilar strategi implementasi yang krusial: (1) kesiapan infrastruktur dan sumber daya manusia, (2) integrasi AI yang berpusat pada pedagogi, (3) tata kelola data dan etika yang ketat, (4) pengembangan kapasitas guru (upskilling), dan (5) evaluasi berkelanjutan. Studi kasus dari berbagai institusi menunjukkan bahwa AI berhasil diimplementasikan untuk optimalisasi administrasi (e.g., admission otomatis, penjadwalan), personalisasi pembelajaran adaptif, serta analitik prediktif untuk mendukung keputusan pimpinan dan mencegah drop out. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan implementasi AI tidak bergantung pada teknologi semata, tetapi pada strategi holistik yang mengintegr asikan aspek teknis, budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan visioner, dan keberlanjutan. Analisis tematik terhadap literatur dan studi kasus terkini mengungkap bahwa keberhasilan implementasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam manajemen pendidikan tidak bersifat insidental, tetapi merupakan hasil dari penerapan strategi holistik yang terstruktur.

Abstract

This research examines the incorporation of Augmented Reality (AR) technology into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational settings tailored for students with special needs. It seeks to assess the efficacy of AR-driven instructional tools in bolstering conceptual comprehension, learner involvement, and intrinsic motivation among individuals facing varied cognitive and physical impairments. The methodology utilized an experimental framework, contrasting an intervention cohort exposed to AR-augmented STEM curricula against a comparison cohort subjected to traditional teaching methods. Information was gathered via initial and follow-up evaluations, observational records, and participant response surveys. Findings indicated that the intervention cohort achieved markedly superior educational results and displayed elevated participation and enthusiasm relative to the comparison group. These outcomes underscore AR's role as an equitable pedagogical resource that facilitates multimodal learning, aids in the representation of intangible STEM ideas, and ensures equitable access to education for students with special needs. The investigation concludes that embedding AR within inclusive STEM pedagogy offers substantial promise for nurturing intellectual and emotional growth, warranting additional inquiry into customizable AR frameworks designed to deliver individualized instructional assistance.

Abstract

The abstract nature of chemical bonding concepts often results in low student engagement and suboptimal learning outcomes, particularly when instruction relies on teacher-centered approaches. This study aimed to develop and evaluate an interactive video learning medium based on the Loomie Live application integrated with Nearpod and structured using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) design, the study involved expert validation, small-group trials (n = 9), and field implementation with 30 tenth-grade students. Data were collected using validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, observation sheets, and pretest–posttest instruments, and analyzed using percentage criteria and N-gain scores. The results indicated that the developed media achieved high validity (media aspect = 80.55%; material aspect = 78.27%), very high practicality (teacher response = 92.43%; student response = 95.83%), and strong effectiveness (N-gain = 0.8, high category). Student learning activity reached 84.28%, indicating very active engagement. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of real-time animated video production (Loomie Live) with interactive assessment features (Nearpod) within a PBL framework, enabling synchronous conceptual visualization and formative feedback in chemistry learning. The findings imply that technology-enhanced, problem-based interactive video can significantly improve conceptual understanding and learner engagement in abstract science topics. This model offers a scalable digital learning innovation adaptable to secondary chemistry education contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of digital learning adoption, self-regulated learning, and learning engagement on students’ learning outcomes in technology-enhanced educational environments. Using a quantitative explanatory research design, data were collected from 268 undergraduate students who had experienced online or blended learning. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results indicate that digital learning adoption has a significant positive effect on students’ learning outcomes. Additionally, self-regulated learning and learning engagement both significantly influence learning outcomes, with learning engagement emerging as the strongest predictor. The findings further reveal that digital learning adoption significantly enhances students’ self-regulated learning and engagement, which in turn mediate its impact on academic performance. The model explains 68.2% of the variance in learning outcomes, demonstrating strong predictive power. These results suggest that the effectiveness of digital learning depends not only on technological implementation but also on students’ ability to regulate their learning and actively engage in academic activities. The study highlights the importance of integrating digital infrastructure with pedagogical strategies that foster autonomy and engagement to optimize students’ academic success in digital learning environments.

Abstract

The research investigates how Learning Management System quality together with interactive learning features and organizational support affects Indonesian vocational high school students ability to adopt digital learning technology. Digital learning adoption functions as a vital component which enables vocational education programs to meet the demands of a technology-based job market. The researchers used a quantitative research approach which employed an explanatory research framework. The researchers obtained primary data through questionnaires which they delivered to vocational high school students who studied through Learning Management Systems. The researchers used purposive sampling to select respondents who had previous experience with digital learning experiences as their study requirement. The researchers used multiple linear regression analysis to examine how various study variables influenced each other during the research process. The research findings demonstrated that Learning Management System quality together with interactive learning features and organizational support produced a significant impact on digital learning adoption when assessed through their combined assessment. The three independent variables exhibited positive and significant effects on the level of digital learning adoption according to the study results. The research results demonstrate that technological elements together with interactive capabilities and organizational backing function as essential factors which enable effective digital learning implementation. Schools need to improve their digital learning system quality through development of better interactive features and greater organizational support to achieve digital learning adoption.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of integrating interactive digital media into problem-based learning (Problem-Based Learning/PBL) to enhance the critical thinking skills of middle school students. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects of the study are 60 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung, divided into experimental and control groups. The instruments used include critical thinking skills tests based on Ennis’ indicators, as well as observation sheets for learning activity engagement. The data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, independent sample t-tests, as well as N-Gain and Cohen’s d calculations. The results indicate a significant increase in critical thinking skills in the experimental group compared to the control group, with a p-value of 0.000 in the independent t-test. The average N-Gain for the experimental group was 50.88% (moderate category), while the control group only achieved 3.48% (low category). The effect size calculated using Cohen’s d reached 3.08, indicating a very large treatment effect. These findings reinforce that integrating interactive digital media into problem-based learning can effectively improve students’ critical thinking skills. The results also support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes strengthening the Pancasila student profile, especially in the dimensions of critical and reflective thinking.

The advent of the Independent Curriculum era, exemplified by curriculum Kurikulum Merdeka in Indonesia, has brought about a paradigm shift in education, emphasizing autonomy, flexibility, and relevance. In this transformative landscape, the strategic utilization of digital learning platforms emerges as a pivotal factor in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes. This paper explores the intersection of digital learning platforms and the Independent Curriculum, aiming to elucidate effective strategies for their integration. Drawing on a comprehensive review of literature, this study examines the principles underpinning the Independent Curriculum and the potential benefits of digital learning platforms within this context. Key findings highlight the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and local relevance in curriculum design, as well as the transformative role of digital technologies in facilitating personalized learning experiences and fostering collaboration. The study identifies several strategic approaches for educators and policymakers to harness the potential of digital learning platforms effectively. These include promoting professional development initiatives, fostering collaborative partnerships, addressing infrastructure gaps, and ensuring equitable access to digital resources.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the field of education, requiring innovation in designing effective learning. This study aims to analyze the integration of technology and educational psychology principles in learning design in the digital era through a systematic literature review approach. Data were collected from various scientific databases, such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, covering publications from 2020 to 2025. The results show that the integration of technology supported by educational psychology principles, such as cognitive theory, constructivism, and motivation, can enhance student engagement, learning effectiveness, and critical thinking skills. However, several challenges remain, including teachers’ limited competence in pedagogically integrating technology, inadequate infrastructure, and the lack of optimal integration among technology, pedagogy, and content aspects. Therefore, comprehensive strategies are needed, including strengthening teacher competencies, developing innovative instructional designs, and providing adequate policy support and facilities to optimize learning in the digital era

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong terjadinya transformasi dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi, khususnya pada program studi pendidikan. Mahasiswa pendidikan sebagai calon pendidik dituntut memiliki kompetensi pedagogik dan teknologi yang memadai agar mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran inovatif di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital, proses implementasinya, serta dampaknya terhadap pengalaman belajar dan kesiapan profesional mahasiswa pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan yang dipilih secara purposive. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital diwujudkan melalui pemanfaatan Learning Management System (LMS), media pembelajaran interaktif, serta penerapan model blended learning dan flipped classroom. Inovasi tersebut mendorong keterlibatan aktif, pembelajaran mandiri, serta peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa. Meskipun demikian, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya kendala dalam implementasi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, perbedaan literasi digital mahasiswa, dan kesiapan dosen. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa inovasi pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran dan kesiapan profesional mahasiswa pendidikan, sehingga perlu didukung secara berkelanjutan oleh institusi pendidikan tinggi.
