Abstract

This study aims to develop a curriculum based on environmental care in improving character education in primary school. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were teachers and primary school students. Data collection techiques using observation and interviews. The data analysis technique was using a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Forms of curriculum development based on environmental care in improving character education in primary school, among others: As an attitude an actions that always strive to prevent damage to the natural environment around it and develop efforts to repair natural damage that has occurred bypreserving the environment disposing of garbage in its place and do reforestation the character of caring for the environment is an attitude that is owned by someone who strives to improve and manage the surrounding environment properly so that the environment can be continucusly without damaging it is condition, as well as and maintaining and preserving so that there are sustainable benefits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan urgensi Multiple Intelligences dalam konteks pendidikan dan pembangunan bangsa. Penelitian ini merupakan theoritical research (penelitian teoritik) dilakukan melalui analisis artikel dari berbagai jurnal, buku, dan media cetak yang berkaitan dengan Multiple Intelligences untuk ditemukan hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dikatakan unggul jika ia dapat mengubah anak didik yang biasa-biasa saja menjadi luar biasa. Pendidikan dasar diberikan untuk meningkatkan potensi anak didik di berbagai macam kecerdasan (Multiple Intelligences). Setidaknya terdapat 8 kecerdasan yang perlu dimiliki anak didik, yaitu kecerdasan logis-matematis, linguistik, musikal, spasial, kinestetis, interpersonal, intrapersonal, dan naturalis. Multiple Intelligences pada pendidikan dasar diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran yang berguna untuk mencukupi semua kebutuhan anak didik yang beragam. Pembelajaran tersebut adalah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Sistem pembelajaan berdiferensiasi dapat dilakukan dengan terlebih dahulu diidentifikasi kemampuan anak, dicari strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kemampuan anak, dan disediakan objek belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak didik. Hal ini membuat anak didik yang berkarakter dan berkemampuan intelektual yang baik.

Abstract

The coronavirus disease (covid-19) pandemic demands all aspects including the world of education to carry out lockdowns or self-quarantine in an effort to minimize the spread of covid-19. This forces policy makers in schools to be able to adapt to various alternative activities that are adapted to existing developments. This article aims to describe the leadership of primary schools during the Covid-19 period which was carried out at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study were the director, principal and teachers at SD Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is done by reducing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the leadership carried out in the management of SD Lazuardi Tursina during the covid-19 period included: 1) simplifying the curriculum; 2) coordination and intense discussion between directors, principals and teachers regarding the adjustment of learning techniques, strategies, models and methods; 3) more flexible budget management; 4) continuous evaluation of policies that have been implemented; 5) good communication between schools and parents; and 6) good cooperation with various aspects.

Abstract

Proses penilaian belajar siswa merupakan komponen penting sebagai upaya memperoleh informasi capaian pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan teknologi (komputasi) membuat proses ini lebih efektif. Quizizz menjadi salah satu platform yang diharapkan mampu menarik minat, dan menambah konsenterasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan kondisi minat dan konsentrasi belajar siswa kelas VI di SDN Banjarharjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai insturmen untuk mengumpulkan data (1) lembar obeservasi, (2) kuesioner/angket respon peserta didik; (3) lembar pedoman wawancara sebagai pendukung hasil kuesioner respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian memberikan gambaran bahwa aplikasi Quizizz dapat meningkatkan minat dan konsentrasi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal penailian untuk mencapai hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji kemampuan siswa SD Negeri Sariharjo menggunakan Pembelajaran Berorientasi High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dan kreativitas dalam muatan pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggabungkan informasi yang diperoleh dari beberapa sumber data pada hasil wawancara, hasil observasi, dan catatan tertulis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaram berorientasi HOTS dan kreativitas ditempuh melalui tahap 1) menganalisis target kompetensi, 2) merumuskan indikator kompetensi, 3) pemilihan model pembelajaran discovery learning, 4) merecanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, 5) pemilihan media serta instrumen, 6) kegiatan pembelajaran, 7) evaluasi, dan 8) refleksi. Implementasi pembelajaran berorientasi HOTS dan kreativitas berdampak pada tumbuhnya kemampuan kreativitas siswa dalam menemukan pengetahuannya sendiri, berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran, dan dapat memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan hal yang cukup penting di era 4.0. Namun akibat pembelajaran daring, banyak siswa yang tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritisnya tergolong rendah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM), guru-guru yang tergabung pada MGMP Matematika SMA & SMK kabupaten Purworejo belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menstimulasi berpikir kritis. Dari permasalahan tersebut, tim PKM melakukan kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk mensosialisasi dan mendiseminasikan implementasi model pembelajaran matematika untuk menstimulasi berpikir kritis pada MGMP Matematika SMA & SMK kabupaten Purworejo. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Fave Hotel Yogyakarta dan terhubung secara online melalui Google Meet bagi sebagian guru yang mengikuti kegiatan secara daring. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh 10 orang guru secara luring dan 10 orang guru secara daring. Hasil evaluasi pada akhir kegiatan PKM menunjukkan: (1) adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam menyusun RPP, LKPD, modul pembelajaran dan instrumen evaluasi; (2) ketercapaian implementasi model pembelajaran yang dapat menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir kritis dan (3) rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA & SMK Kabupaten Purworejo sebesar 7,7%.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics objects can be found in artifacts in the form of historical buildings. One of the historical buildings in Kotagede, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, is the Beteng Cepuri fortress. The purpose of this research is to conduct an exploration of any mathematical concepts contained in Beteng Cepuri that can be used as a source of learning mathematics as an effort to develop ethnomathematics for learning elementary school mathematics. The researchers invited the fifth-graders of an elementary school in Kotagede, nearby the Cepuri Beteng, to explore and learn mathematical concepts. The results show that there is a relationship between the construction of the fort building and the concept of geometry in several parts of the Cepuri Beteng. The sections are in the form of cuboids and rectangles. Taking the students to visualize the artifacts may assist them to build 3D shape recognition. It can be concluded that ethnomathematics is able to create a very good interest in learning followed by concept acquisition.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the nature-based school curriculum as a solution to the learning-teaching that promotes students’ freedom. The implementation of the learning-teaching is designed to be fun based on the natural characteristics of children. This research utilized a qualitative-descriptive method involving students, teachers, and parents as participants. Data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews. The data analysis consisted of four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the curriculum developed at the nature-based school is implemented by integrating the national curriculum with the natural school curriculum consisting of four pillars: morality, scientific logic, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The positive impact of this research is that the innovation of natural curriculum has been in line with the implementation of independent curriculum by implementing four pillars in learning-teaching process and are carried out through experience-based learning and project-based learning methods. Students are facilitated to express their opinions in different activities and are given the freedom to choose a place to learn in several activities. For example, in some activities, students are free to choose learning places which can be in the prayer room, in the school yard, in the library, or in other places. The learning-teaching can increase students’ enthusiasm to go to school, be happy, feel valued and feel free when they are at schools. With this nature-based school curriculum, children develop according to their nature and grow into meaningful, independent, and beneficial human beings in the surrounding environment who have noble character, have logical abilities, have a good leadership spirit, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.

Abstract

Tamansiswa's teaching is also building and supporting education reformation in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the MPATM Model implementation to develop Profil Mahasiswa Pancasila (Pancasila college students profile). The subject of the study was 17 students from Grade VI of SDN Sariharjo. This study used qualitative descriptive research methods through observation, interview, and documentation. The implementation of this MPATM learning model is divided into three phases which are the solicitation phase, companion phase, and independent phase. The implementation of MPATM showed that it could support achieving the learning objectives, such as learning attitude perspective, knowledge, and skills. Students understood how to develop following its uniqueness, implementing independent learning, and developing attitudes which show Profil Pelajar Pancasila based on Kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a more comprehensive assessment model in teaching practice and to support the realization of prospective teachers/educators who are skilled at teaching through PPL/PLP activities. This research method used research & development model of Borg and Gall with 10 stages. The data collection process was carried out by tests, interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. Technique of data analysis that used in this study is descriptive statistics. The result of the study showed that there are three phases in the implementation of the assessment model. First, Got It; students have knowledge related to teaching practice activities that are assessed through tests (objectives and descriptions). Second, feel; the ability to internalize the personality and social competencies that are assessed through observation sheets and thirdly, Acting; performing with complete sincerity which is assessed through performance. With a score of 89.36 from the three validators, this Tringa-based assessment model is suitable for use in teaching practice.
