Abstract

This research is generally to find out about community empowerment in establishing entrepreneurial behavior in PKBM Bina Mandiri Cipageran, Cimahi City and PKBM Bina Warga Ciparay, Bandung Regency. Specifically, it is to know the stages of community empowerment, including: (1) preparation stage,(2) assessment stage, (3) alternative program planning stage, (4) action plan formulation stage, (5) implementation stage, (6) stage evaluation and monitoring, and (7) the termination stage. The method used is a descriptive method with qualitative data types. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that in general both PKBM have empowered the community as the target community quite effectively, being more empowered, both cognitively, affectively, psychomotorically and independently with their entrepreneurial behavior. Specifically, the stages of empowerment are in accordance with the stages, including: (1) preparations carried out by preparing officers and field preparations; (2) assessment, namely by identifying the problems of the target community that have the potential to become learning citizens; (3) planning alternative programs, namely facilitating learning residents in determining the right choice of learning programs to overcome problems; (4) formulation of action plans, namely by determining learning times, recruiting target communities, providing program information; (5) implementation, namely program implementation, which begins with socialization, implementation, identification of results, supporting and inhibiting factors, their contribution to the formation of entrepreneurial behavior and their impact on increasing income and welfare; (6) evaluation, through program evaluation and monitoring; and (7) termination or continuation of the program, namely by providing guidance and assistance to learning residents who have completed the Business Study Group program. These stages have been carried out by the two PKBMs in the implementation of learning programs and community empowerment in shaping entrepreneurial behavior.

Abstract

Strategy Human Resource development at the level of middle management important companies in the era disrupsi this. The development of human resources in the middle-management level is performed to form a personal quality skills, ability to work, and loyalty in the company. Strategy human resource development at the level of middle management can be done with many ways to develop it. Some of the strategies that can be learned by companies in developing and find the human resources in the middle-management level needed one of them through a training program that is hardwired. Training is carried out by developing individual in the form of increased skills, knowledge and attitude. Training is not only useful for employees, but also the company. In order to improve managerial ability, especially on the line of middle management in the company in need of improvement and continuous human resource development in order to create synergy and teamwork company. That the development and competition of the current human resources to be a major factor in the success in winning the competition. The ability and capacity of middle management will be different from one company to another. The critical point of the growth of the company existing on the capacity and capability of middle management.Thus, the need training programs applicable and integrated for the development of human resources in the middle-management level that exists as one of the main assets to a company that everlasting growth. This Program must be supported by all parties corporate executives for the achievement of the vision, mission and goals of the organization. Human resource development at the level of middle management is done through training to improve the ability of the performance of the personal there. The form of the development of human resources in the middle-management level can be done in formal or non-formal for their careers. Every human resources at the level of middle management need training to overcome various problems in their work by teaching steps and the right way.

Abstract

Empowerment of PAI Supervisors through the Supervisory Working Group (Research on PAI Pokjawas West Java Province). The research problem starts from the strategic position of Pokjawas as a supervisory organization for PAI supervisors but, on the one hand, shows the low competence of PAI supervisors and the lack of competency development by the authorities. That became the foundation of Kindervatter's theory of empowerment. This research aims to explore the implementation of PAI supervisor empowerment through Pokjawas in West Java Province. Specifically, it is to find out the efforts of Pokjawas The results showed that the appointment of PAI supervisors through Pokjawas in the form of (1) developing the potential (enabling) of PAI supervisors indicated by the existence of a supervisory competency development program, developing supervisory resources, building and encouraging the independence of the new supervisors for the most part; (2) building the power (empowering) of PAI supervisors is made by reinforcing to improve the competence of PAI supervisors that are already running, but not yet PAI supervisors are involved in this (3) protecting by fighting for the rights of members so that PAI supervisors feel calm, comfortable and prosperous in carrying out their duties (4) innovating for PAI supervisors by developing supervisory information systems and technology, developing supervisory supervision models, utilizing organizational information media to improve supervisory competence.

Abstract

  Kinesthetic-based physical education learning has a great opportunity to develop multiple intelligences in students at school, Through physical education carried out in schools, it can be used as a tool to help students improve motor skills, health, fitness, character building, personality, discipline and inculcating the values ​​of honesty, cooperation and responsibility. Currently, the reality of teachers in the field does not understand the role of physical education in the educational process, most teachers argue that sport is only for maintaining health and has not yet reached the role of physical education in supporting the development of children's intelligence. The purpose of this study was to see how far the implementation of physical education in improving kinesthetic intelligence in Madrasah Ibtidayyah (MI) Al-Firdaus and MI Yanuri through a management approach. Specifically, this study describes the principles of management theory, including: (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) implementing, and (4) evaluating physical education and its relationship with kinesthetic intelligence using management theory from GR Terry and Howard Gadner's theory of kinesthetic intelligence. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies.

Abstract

The present study reports the first comprehensive study on the freshwater macroinvertebrates and its habitat preferences in Bilah River, the largest riverin the Northern Sumatra. The riverside is characterized by the presence of anthropogenic and industrial activities which may alter the macroinvertebrate assemblage and biodiversity. Five months of investigation on 10 sampling stations from December 2016 to October 2017 was conducted based on the river flow in Bilah River. Principal component analysis indicated a decrease in trophic status from upstream to downstream of the river. A total of 27 taxa were recorded, with the most abundant group The developmental task of a child is something that appears at a certain period in the life span, if one phase fails it will cause various difficulties in completing the next phase of development. This is experienced by students with special needs (PDBK). Currently, the reality of teachers in the field is that they do not understand how to identify and assess these developmental phases for GDPK, which is a prerequisite for supporting success in the academic field. The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of developmental assessments in the two inclusive organizing schools, Ibnu Sina and Mutiara Bunda, in finding the actual GDPK profile through the “Daming Cycle” management theory approach from W. Edward Daming. In particular, this study describes and analyzes (1) plan, (2) Do, (3) Check and (4) action on developmental assessment using Sallis Edward's quality theory and Huvinggurst's developmental theory. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Collecting data by conducting observations, interviews, and study of documentation and validation of research results by conducting FGD (forum group discussion). The results of the study indicate that the management of developmental assessments at the inclusive schools of Ibnu Sina and Mutiara Bunda has been carried out by adjusting the existing concept rules, although in its implementation there are still obstacles, especially in terms of parental commitment and teacher understanding in GDPK confectionery.

Abstract

The number of limitations/obstacles experienced by some graduates of SMP/MTs who cannot continue their education to a higher level, namely High School/SMK/MA due to several limitations, among others: due to financial factors of parents, children as the backbone of the family, geographical conditions experienced by some participants students to regularly come every day to a regular high school, as well as the difficulty of public transportation as access to school.The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of Integrated Quality Management (MMT) in improving the quality of graduates of SMA Open actually through the management theory approach "Daming Cycle" from W. Edward Daming. In particular, this study describes and analyzes (1) plan, (2) Do, (3) Check and (4) action about open high school using the quality theory of Sallis Edward. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Collecting data by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies. From the results of the study, it shows that Integrated Quality Management (MMT) in improving the quality of graduates of Open High School in National High School and March 11 High School has been carried out by adjusting the existing concept rules although in its implementation there are still obstacles, especially in terms of commitment of parents and students, limited budget from the government and difficulties in getting visiting teachers who are committed to providing flexible learning.

Abstract

The role of private universities in improving quality must accommodate all aspects of the performance of the tridharma of higher education. The rapid development of higher education institutions must be ready to change, changes that occur in the global business environment also trigger the increasing intensity of competition between higher education service providers, so that each higher education service provider will try to offer high performance higher education services. The purpose of this research is to see how far the implementation of BSC in improving the performance of private universities. Specifically, this study describes four perspectives, including: (1) financial perspective, (2) customer perspective, (3) internal business process perspective (4) learning and growth perspective.This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach and data collection by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies. From the research results indicate that the implementation of the BSC has been applied in a systematic, measurable and planned manner so that the Vision, Mission and objectives are achieved. In implementation there is a balance between financial and non-financial.

Abstract

The research aims to explore and observe a management to strengthening Islamic Boarding Schools Graduates in Indonesian context. This research uses a qualitative approach because this research aims to describe and analyze the process of strengthening graduates in perspective of management. Various data collection techniques are used including: observation, interview, documentation study, literature studies and triangulation. The result shows the planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stage supported to realize academic and non-academic graduates’ quality, as well as to develop cultural values and character that can be implemented in everyday life but still not able to be done to the fullest. At the planning stage, it can be interpreted that the program planning has been prepared oriented to the quality that can be realized optimally. The implementation in improving graduates quality conducted in both Islamic schools, includes: Curriculum Development, Learning Activities, Educator and Educational Personnel Competency Improvement Activities, Student and Extracurricular Activities, Facilities Management Activities and Infrastructure, Financing Management, Partnership Activities and society’s role. In the supervision and evaluation part, is done to ensure management to strengthen the graduates is in accordance with planning. To sum up, the management has not been able to be done optimally, because it cannot carry out the face-to-face learning process followed by all learners, such as normal condition so that many obstacles faced by teachers and by learners.

Abstract

This paper writing is motivated by the decline in public morals and the consequences of violations of the law that damage the social life order. During the sentencing process, prisoners are still shrouded somemindsets such as ; Trying to get out of the Penitentiary, holding a grudge against other people, feeling dissatisfied with the court decision, feeling like a person who does not get recognition from the community, feelins of disappointment and hopelessness and still difficult to eliminate in everyday life and people worry about not accepting it. or think negatively after finishing the punishment. The study aimedto describe the management of religious development in forming the noble character of prisoner based on Islamic boarding schools through the At-Taubah Integrated Islamic Boarding School (LPK-PPTA). The specific objective is to find out the management of prisoner religious development through the approach of (1) Planning, (2) Implementation (3) Evaluation (4) Problems (5) Solutions (6) Impact. The research formulation is how to manage religious development to shape the character of noble prisoners (a case study at the At-Taubah Integrated Islamic Boarding School Religious Development Institute, Class II B Amuntai Penitentiary, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan Province). This research used a naturalistic qualitative research approach namely the situation and conditions at the research locationwithout manipulation with descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study was aninnovative model of the Islamic boarding school-based religious development program, namely religious psychosomatic psychotherapy through coaching management functions. In the implementation of the management and correctional institutions involving all elements, both internal and external, it obtained good result both in terms of religious understanding (tafaqquh fiddin), life skills (life skills) and noble character (good character), in shaping character. noble character of prisoners. It is recommended to continue to carry out religious guidance for prisoners to make prisoners having faith, knowledge and do good deeds.

Abstract

The Subject Teacher Conference (MGMP) as an association or association of teachers plays a strategic role in improving and strengthening teacher competence through discussion and training. Its main role is to facilitate teachers in the same field of study in exchanging opinions and experiences. However, there are still many teachers who are not active so that they do not develop and are static even though they have participated in MGMP activities. In addition, due to the limited number of roles that can be performed by the MGMP, the ability of teachers to teach as indicated by the indicators of student success is still low. The purpose of this study was to find out how "the revitalization of the MGMP Program To Improve the Pedagogic Competence of Science Teachers at SMA in Karawang Regency is actually through the "POAC" management theory approach from GR Terry. In particular, this study describes and analyzes (1) planning, (2) organizing, (3) implementing and (4) assessing the MGMP in science subjects. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Collecting data by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation studies as well as validation of research results. The results of the study indicate that the MGMP Revitalization Program is a classification of the findings from the identification process of the MGMP Revitalization Program which is carried out specifically so that the profile obtained in the MGMP is based on factual, objective and precise data. The follow up in the MGMP Program Revitalization lies in understanding the teacher team and how they must coordinate, cooperate and follow up when handling MGMP.
