Abstract

Purpose – The rapid and massive development of technology, information, and the internet in various business sectors, including SMEs, has created new changes. This situation provides opportunities and challenges for every business actors. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of human, social, and customer capital, as well as technological innovation, on business performance. Methodology – The library and field design method were adopted with a quantitative approach, involving 180 samples of small and medium business actors. Furthermore, the Partial Least Square (PLS) was used to analyze the data. Findings – The result showed that human, social, and customer capital positively and significantly affected business performance. Similarly, technological innovation has a positive and significant impact on business performance. Originality – Employees who work in the small business sector will be relied upon in the future as agents of change. Many practitioners have expressed this in the field of human capital, which assumes greater responsibility for small company players in terms of the style of consultation.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the development of small and micro enterprises has increased significantly every year. This informs that the interest in entrepreneurship in Indonesia is very high. In the future, it is expected to become one of the pioneers of stimulus for economic progress in developed countries. The main purpose of this study was to analyze and examine the effect of entrepreneurship knowledge, self-efficacy, and social media utilization on student entrepreneurial interest in universities in Pematangsiantar City. This study's research method includes library and field research design with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were SME actors in the culinary sector in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The study stated positive and significant results between entrepreneurship knowledge, self-efficacy, and social media utilization with entrepreneurial interest. The implications of this study conclude in the digital age when in this case, substantial knowledge from students about entrepreneurship is needed to turn ideas into businesses in order to be able to realize their visions into reality.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine the contribution of transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, and knowledge sharing to innovative work behavior. This study's research method includes library and field research design with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were SME actors in the culinary sector in Pematangsiantar City. The research was carried out in eight sub-districts in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses the Smartpls statistical software. The results of the data analysis concluded that transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, and knowledge sharing positively and significantly affect innovative work behavior. The theoretical implication of this study concludes that aspects of knowledge sharing, psychological empowerment, and transformational leadership are important stimulants to encourage innovative work behavior. Furthermore, the managerial implications in this study conclude that aspects of knowledge sharing, psychological empowerment, and transformational leadership require serious attention for business actors to encourage more innovative work behavior.

Abstract

Modern Marketing Mix 4Ps focus marketing activities on four pillars: people, process, programs, and performances. With these four pillars, marketers can create campaigns that effectively reach the target audience across various promotional channels to promote products. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Modern Marketing Mix 4Ps in terms of people, processes, programs, and performances on the competitive advantage of MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. This study's research method includes library and field research design with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were SME actors in the culinary sector in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The data analysis test tool uses the Smartpls statistical software. The study stated positive and significant results between processes, people, programs, performance, and competitive advantage. The conclusion of this study explains that in determining a good 4PS marketing strategy, business actors should need to determine the process, price, and place, promote the right product, determine the packaging and process, and add human resources who work professionally.

Abstract

Teamwork in the organization is considered crucial to encourage continuous performance improvement. Teamwork will become a driving force that has energy and synergy for individuals who are members of teamwork. Communication will run well based on awareness of the responsibilities of each member. The purpose of implementing this service is to help those who need understanding and practice implementing effective teamwork when providing services to the community. Partners are posyandu cadres in the Kahean Village with the address Jl. Tualang, No. 28, Kel. Kahean, Kec. North Siantar. The stages of implementing this event include the opening and introduction of solid teamwork, an explanation of teamwork, and a presentation on some of the problems that Posyandu cadres often face when providing services to the community, then continued discussions on building and developing service quality based on teamwork aspects. After the community service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of the community service activities. In accordance with the results of the interviews, it is known that the understanding of Posyandu cadres related to an increase in motivation in communication increased by 80%, and the work and implementation of solid teamwork increased by 90%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara budaya organisasi, komunikasi dan kompetensi guru terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar baik secara simultan maupun parsial . Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah budaya organisasi, komunikasi dan kompetensi guru sementara variabel terikat adalah kinerja guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada SMA Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar yang terdiri dari 45 responden. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi dan kompetensi guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Sedangkan budaya organisasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru dan secara parsial budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.Kata Kunci: Budaya Organisasi; komunikasi; kompetensi guru, kinerja guru The influence of organizational culture, communication, and communication on teacher performance of Sultan Agung High School Pematangsiantar AbstractThis study aimed to test whether organizational culture, communication and teacher competence on teacher performance of sultan agung high school pematangsiantar both simultaneously and partially. Independent variabel in this study is the organizational culture communication and teacher competence. The dependent variabel is teacher performance. This research was conducte on teacher of Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar high school consisting of 45 respondents. This type research is quantitative research. method data collection using interviews, observation and distributing questionnaires. Data analysis using multiple linear regres sion. The results showed that communication and teacher competence is positive and significant effect towards teacher performance both simultaneously and partially. While simultaneous organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance and partially organizational culture has a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance.Keywords: Organizational culture; communication; teacher competence, teacher perfomance

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the effect of cashback promotion as a mediator on the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, social influence, trust, and security on the interest in using digital wallets in generation Z and millennial generations. The research method includes library research design and field research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects taken in this study were Generation Z and the Millennial Generation of Culinary SMES in Pematangsiantar City. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with Smartpls statistical software. The study stated positive and significant results between perceived benefits and the social influence of cashback promotions. Furthermore, positive and significant results are perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, trust, and cashback promotions. The results also show that the safety factor has a negative and insignificant effect on the intention to use. For the mediating relationship, it can be concluded that cashback promotion succeeds in mediating the relationship between perceived benefits and social influence on intention to use. The results of this study indicate that the average Generation Z and Millennials have low literacy of digital wallet security issues. Socialization or literacy activities are needed regarding information security which the fintech industry or digital wallet developers routinely carry out.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1). bagaimana kinerja keuangan, nilai perusahaan dan harga saham Sub Sektor Konstruksi dan Bangunan yang terdaftar di BEI 2). Bagaimana pengaruh faktor-faktor kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan 3). Bagaimana pengaruh faktor-faktor kinerja keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan harga saham sebagai variabel moderating. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Populasi adalah Perusahaan Sub Sektor Konstruksi dan Bangunan yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2012 - 2017 dengan purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sebanyak 7 perusahaan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1). Terdapat perusahaan  yang berada dibawah rata-rata maksimal 4 tahun  dari sisi faktor-faktor kinerja keuangan maupun nilai perusahaannya, 2) Hasil pengujian likuiditas memiliki pengaruh negatif sedangkan leverage dan  profitabilitas pengaruh positif terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kekuatan hubungan ketiga variabel adalah sedang. 3). Koefisien determinasi sebesar 33,5% dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh faktor lainnya. 4). Faktor-faktor kinerja keuangan berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan baik secara simultan maupun parsial dan faktor-faktor kinerja keuangan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan harga saham sebagai variabel moderating secara simultan maupun parsial. Kata Kunci: kinerja keuangan, nilai perusahaan, leverage, profitabilitas, harga saham

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed all aspects of human life, particularly the habit of using information technology to meet every day needs. One of the concrete matters that we can see from the rapid development of information technology is the behavior of using marketplaces to carry out online shopping, which is currently increasingly popular to use by consumers. This study aimed to determine how much the influence of price and word of mouth on consumer satisfaction. Data obtained from the research objects were analyzed using a survey model with a quantitative approach. The number of samples obtained as respondents was 160 people. Data for analysis used validity and reliability tests using the outlier model and the SEM structural model as a representative of the inner model. The results of the study show that word of mouth has no effect on user satisfaction. Furthermore, the consumer experience has a significant effect on user satisfaction.
