Abstract

The low spiritual intelligence of students causes excessive fanaticism, weak faith, loss of soul control and is prone to deviate from religious understanding and values in general. With the implementation of religious programs outside of learning to strengthen the spirituality of the students who participate in these activities. This research will examine the technicalities of implementing extracurricular Islamic spiritual guidance, what are the aspects that hinder and support Islamic spiritual guidance activities, and whether Islamic spiritual guidance activities will increase the religious awareness of students in Batch 2024. This was done to examine its impact on improvement. This study used descriptive qualitative research conducted over several months from April 6, 2023 to January 14, 2024 at SMK INSAN BINA GENERASI 3 Bogor, West Java. The subjects of this research were the Islamic Spirituality trainers of SMK INSAN BINA GENERASI 3 Bogor, West Java. The research informants are the person in charge and the Islamic Spirituality Advisor as well as the Islamic Spirituality Members. The techniques used in this research are observing Islamic spiritual activities directly, processing participant data, and interviewing. Verification of the truth of the research material is based on data triangulation. The method of elaboration uses the method of analyzing various data sources.The stages then carried out are detailed discussion of data, presentation of materials, and drawing out the final results.The results of this research have a very big influence on the world of education. Extracurricular Islamic Spirituality (Kerohanian Islam) is carried out regularly every Saturday.The mentoring process usually takes place through the provision of educational materials using learning media and applications.We use three approaches when conducting extracurricular teaching activities in Kerohanian Islam: exploring the potential of members, a personal approach, and an ideal role model approach. Assessment in Islamic Spirituality activities includes exams recorded on the questions given, communication techniques, and internships. The inhibiting aspects are the short management period and the duration of Islamic Spirituality activities which are the same as other extracurricular activities. In the early stages of Islamic Spirituality mentoring, many of the Islamic Spirituality mentoring participants were XI students. Classes whose mental abilities and intelligence are low, are not mentally ready to become administrators. While the aspects that strengthen it include the facilities provided by the school, the financing of Islamic Spiritual activities, and the school's support for Islamic Spiritual activities. Through the implementation of Islamic Spirituality extracurricular guidance, students are able to develop their spiritual intelligence through tangible traits: a sense of closeness to Allah, determination, tawadu, honesty and patience.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMK Amaliah 2 Ciawi Bogor. The Independent Curriculum, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, focuses on flexible and student-centered learning. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMK Amaliah 2 faces several challenges, especially in terms of teacher adaptation to new approaches, infrastructure readiness, and student understanding of the learning system. However, this curriculum provides students with more freedom in choosing subjects and projects that suit their interests and talents, and encourages independence in the learning process.

Abstract

The study aims to ascertain three things: (1) the difference in learning achievement in history between students using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model and students using the Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) model; (2) the impact of high and low discipline on learning achievement; and (3) the possibility of an interaction between cooperative learning models and discipline on history learning achievement. This study employed experimental research as its research methodology. The 2023–2024 academic year saw the conducting of this study at SMAN 11 North Bengkulu and SMAN 13 North Bengkulu. The XI social studies classes made up the study's population. Two groups were chosen at random to serve as research samples: one was the treatment group, which I taught using Jigsaw-style instruction, and the other used Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) instruction. This study employed a 2x2 factorial ANOVA research design. The application of Jigsaw and Studen Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) has an impact on student learning achievement. High and low discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. Cooperative learning models and discipline have an impact on history learning achievement. These are the study's findings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the writing and speaking abilities of seventh-grade students at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City as well as the effectiveness of applying the social simulation learning model to improve the writing and speaking abilities of seventh-grade students in English subjects at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City. The study used a quasi-experiment and classroom action research design. Twenty males and forty girls, totaling sixty pupils in the seventh grade at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City, served as the subjects of the class action research. All seventh grade pupils of SMPN 3 Bengkulu City made up the population of the experimental study. Class VII.1 (the experimental class) and class VII.2 (the control class) were the study's samples. Thirty students made up the experimental class, which included thirteen males and seventeen girls, and thirty students from the control class, which included sixteen boys and fourteen girls. The study's findings indicate that: using the social simulation learning model at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year has implications for improving students' speaking skills; using the social simulation learning model at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year has implications for improving students' writing skills; and using the social simulation model is effective for improving students' speaking and writing skills at SMPN 3 Bengkulu City in the 2023–2024 academic year because the results of the students' cognitive assessment have significantly increased.

Abstract

Dengan adanya perkembangan Information and Communication Technology (ICT) yang sangat pesat sekarang ini, tentu turut berdampak besar juga pada perubahan yang sangat signifikan dalam berbagai bidang, terutama pada bidang pendidikan, Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan Swasta di Kecamatan Cisoka adalah lembaga pendidikan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi pihak sekolah adalah belum ada aplikasi untuk membantu guru dan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa sosialisasi, praktek, tanya jawab dan Fokus Group Discussion berhubungan dengan Penggunaan teknologi informsi bertujuan mengurangi kompleksitas, meningkatkan efisiensi, menambah inspirasi, dan pendekatan yang customized berhubungan dengan teknologi informasi. Merdeka Mengajar dan Platform Guru: Pembelajaran. Proses pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat diharapkan agar peserta sebagai Tim Pendamping dari Perguruan Tinggi mampu mengeksplorasi Platform teknologi informsi Merdeka Mengajar termasuk sistem informasi berbasis web melalui komputer, desktop atau laptop, menjelaskan fungsi dan manfaat dari Perangkat Ajar pada Platform teknologi informsi Merdeka Mengajar, menjelaskan fungsi dan manfaat dari Produk Asesmen Murid pada Platform, dan kepada para Guru sebagai pengguna utama teknologi informsi Merdeka Mengajar maupun pengguna utama lainnya seperti Kepala Sekolah dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya yang terkait dan Perlu kegiatan berkelanjutan karena sebagian besar peserta masih butuh pelatihan yang lain membantu proses pembelajar mengarah ke sistem digital, berbasis daring dan merdeka belajar.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue Haemoragic merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Penyebaran penyakit ini disebabkan oleh Aedes aegypti menggigit yang membawa Virus Dengue dalam tubuhnya. Pentingnya eliminasi nyamuk dengan cara membunuh nyamuk dewasa yang mengandung Virus Dengue dan siap menginfeksi orang lain. Fogging merupakan salah satu cara untuk memutus mata rantai tersebut. Penghapusan Aedes aegypti yang dilakukan di Perumahan Kutruk Jambe menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan. Setelah mengevaluasi lokasi ini, terlihat bahwa tidak ada Aedes aegypti, setidaknya kepadatannya berkurang. Dapat juga diperhatikan bahwa kebersihan lingkungan umum meningkat, tidak ada lagi tempat berkembang biak Aedes aegypti dan larva tidak ada lagi. Terakhir, adanya pemahaman dan peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dengan baik untuk menghilangkan nyamuk dan tempat berkembang biak Aedes aegypti. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu pelaksanaan fogging di setiap rumah masyarakat Kutruk 300 rumah dengan luas 6 hektar, menggunakan 2 mesin swing fog dan expend sekitar 9 liter malasi, 120 liter solar dan 60 liter bensin.

Abstract

The use of Information Technology (IT) in education has brought about significant transformation, enabling innovation in learning. This article discusses the positive impact on the quality of learning in vocational high schools. Practical steps, such as visits, identification, socialization, training using AI, especially storyline3 to compile multiple-choice questions in learning, were implemented by involving several vocational high school teachers in Tigaraksa-Tangerang. The evaluation showed an increase in participants' understanding and enthusiasm for the use of storyline3 in designing multiple-choice questions in practice and exams. The results show that the use of artificial intelligence, such as storyline 3, can be an effective tool to improve the quality of learning at the vocational level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop indigenous knowledge-based teaching materials on water cycle topics under basic competencies 3.10 and 4.10 in junior high schools. The method used in this research is the type II developmental research of Richey & Klein consisting of the exploration and evaluation stages (trial). This research was conducted in two cycles of evaluation. The results of the development of teaching materials were tested for validity by 5 validators, readability was tested to sixteen students using the gap test. Based on the research results, the validation value for the development of the teaching materials was 4.36 which falls into the very valid category. The readability test results were 91.17% and when converted using Bormuth criteria, it means that the product is easy to understand. In conclusion, this teaching material applies to junior high school students, particularly the water cycle topic.

Abstract

Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2023 shows an increase in traffic accidents in Indonesia with 155 thousand cases, and 66 thousand came from students, with motorbikes dominating (74.35%). Data from the Indramayu Police Traffic Unit in 2023 noted that 34 cases of traffic accidents involved high school students. Efforts to reduce traffic accidents include implementing safety riding behavior. SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu still has students who drive at high speed, despite the socialization by the Indramayu police regarding safety riding. This study aims to determine the factors associated with safety riding behavior in high school students of SMA Negeri 2 Indramayu in 2023. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.021, there was a relationship between attitude and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.044, there was no relationship between helmet availability and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.130, and there was a relationship between social environmental support and safety riding behavior with a p-value of 0.018. Thus there are factors related to safety riding behavior, namely knowledge, attitudes and social environmental support.

Abstract

Fruit waste management has gained increasing attention as an eco-friendly approach to sustainable agriculture. The increasing accumulation of organic waste, particularly from fruit residues, poses a significant environmental challenge. Utilizing these waste materials for agricultural purposes can contribute to waste reduction and soil fertility improvement. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of orange and tomato juice application on the growth and yield of potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L.), considering the potential of fruit waste as an organic fertilizer. A Randomized Block Design (RBD) was employed with two treatments: orange juice and tomato juice, each at five concentration levels (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) with three replications, totaling 75 samples. The parameters observed included the number of leaves, stem height, number of tubers, and tuber weight. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results indicated that orange juice significantly increased leaf number, stem height, and tuber weight, while tomato juice had a limited effect. No significant interaction was observed between the two treatments. These findings highlight the potential of fruit waste as an alternative organic fertilizer for sustainable agriculture.
