Abstract

This study aims to analyze what anti-microbial power contained in plants and starfruit plants, and compare which plants are stronger anti-microbial power. The method used in this study is an experimental method, with Escherichia coli bacteria as a representative of disease-causing bacteria. The data obtained were analyzed using the ANOVA test. Based on the results of the study, the stems and leaves of the plant leaves and leaves of star fruit positive containing the composition of secondary metabolites saponins that have antimicrobial power that utilizes the growth ability of E coli. The average diameter of inhibitory zones of plant extracts of wake-up and starfruit ≥ 21 mm, so it is categorized as having strong antimicrobial power. However, the inhibitory zones formed have not been able to match or beat the inhibition zones C 25% (52.54 and 43.1), ciprofloxacin (64.41), which is antibiotics sold on the market that are made with positive control.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the understanding and implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction in 24 elementary schools in Kecamatan Ciampea. The results show significant variations in PAI teachers' understanding and application of PjBL. Fifty percent of the teachers have successfully implemented PjBL consistently, thanks to strong support from school principals and adequate educational resources. These teachers have been able to design effective PjBL-based learning projects, allowing students to actively engage in learning and develop critical thinking and creativity. However, 30% of the teachers faced challenges in optimal implementation, particularly due to time constraints and insufficient resources. These teachers require further skill development to better integrate PjBL into daily learning processes. Meanwhile, 20% of the teachers demonstrated a minimal understanding of PjBL and require additional training. These findings highlight the importance of ongoing training, as well as institutional support and resource access, to enhance the effective application of PjBL. The study recommends that schools in Kecamatan Ciampea strengthen teacher training and provide more adequate resources to support the implementation of PjBL, aiming to improve the relevance and meaning of PAI learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Discovery Learning model and its influence on teacher self-efficacy and the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in Kecamatan Leuwiliang, Bogor Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, involving 27 PAI teachers from 9 clusters as key informants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies.The results show that 30% of the teachers have successfully implemented Discovery Learning, demonstrating high self-efficacy and improving learning quality by actively engaging students in the concept discovery process. However, 52% of teachers are aware of the model but do not implement it optimally, leading to varying self-efficacy and learning quality. The remaining 18% of teachers neither know about nor apply the model, continuing with conventional teaching methods, which yield unsatisfactory results.Challenges in implementing Discovery Learning include limited training, inadequate facilities, and insufficient time for lesson preparation. Nevertheless, teachers who received intensive training were able to overcome these obstacles, improving their self-confidence and learning quality. This study concludes that a good understanding and application of Discovery Learning positively impacts PAI teacher self-efficacy and learning quality. Therefore, more efforts are needed to enhance teacher training and mentoring to optimize the implementation of Discovery Learning across elementary schools in Kecamatan Leuwiliang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy and creative thinking skills in the development of professional competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in Leuwiliang District. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis in nine elementary schools in the region. The results of the study show that the implementation of TPS effectively increases student engagement during the learning process, supports the enhancement of teachers' professional competence, particularly in classroom management, and deepens understanding and mastery of teaching materials.In the context of education, Islam emphasizes the importance of knowledge, as mentioned in QS. Al-Mujadilah: 11: يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَاتٍ"Allah will raise those who believe among you and those who have been given knowledge by degrees." However, the study also found several challenges in the implementation of this strategy, including limited school facilities and the lack of formal training received by teachers related to the application of TPS. This study provides recommendations for improving the quality of education in Leuwiliang District, emphasizing the importance of continuous training for teachers and improving educational facilities to ensure that innovative learning methods such as TPS can be applied more effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the implementation of competence and motivation in efforts to improve the performance of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in elementary schools located in Leuwiliang District, Bogor Regency. The focus of the research is on three main elements: competence, motivation, and teacher performance. Competence encompasses the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for teachers to carry out their duties professionally. Motivation is understood as the internal drive that influences teachers' behavior in their work, while teacher performance is evaluated based on their ability to manage learning, mastery of subject matter, and student assessment. Using a qualitative approach, this study reveals that the optimal application of competence and motivation positively impacts teacher performance, particularly in lesson planning and delivery. Factors such as the availability of facilities and challenges in technology comprehension also affect performance. The study recommends ongoing development programs to enhance pedagogical competence and technological skills among PAI teachers.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk buku ajar mata kuliah pendidikan Pancasila dengan pendekatan Quantum Learning. Model pengembangan yang dianut adalah model 4D yang terdiri atas tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate.Tahap define merupakan analisis kebutuhan untuk kepentingan penyusunan draft awal buku ajar; tahap design merupakan pemilihan format dan penyusunan desain awal buku ajar; tahap develop berisi tahap validasi buku ajar, revisi tahap 1, uji perorangan dan kelompok kecil, revisi tahap 2, dan uji pada kelas yang nyata melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Variabel yang akan diteliti peningkatannya adalah peningkatan civic skill pada mahasiswa. PTK dilaksanakan selama satu semester yang dibagi menjadi dua siklus. Proses pelaporan hasil penelitian dilaksanakan setelah tahap PTK dan analisis data selesai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan hasil (1) Pengembangan bahan ajar mata kuliah pendidikan Pancasila dengan menggunakan Pendekatan Quantum Learning (Quantum Learning Approach) untuk meningkatkan civic skill pada mahasiswa prodi pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia Universitas Insan Budi Utomo Malang mengalami peningkatan. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 78.2 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Siklus II, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 84.2 termasuk dalam kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 6%.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan suatu kondisi serius pada balita yang tidak mendapatkan gizi dalam jumlah yang tepat dalam waktu yang lama/ kronik. Ikan merupakan salah satu pangan hewani sumber protein yang tinggi dan sangat baik dikonsumsi dalam rangka pencegahan stunting. Masa balita adalah masa yang cukup penting karena mengalami proses perkembangan dan pertumbuhan yang cepat, sehingga apabila terjadi ketidakseimbangan konsumsi protein pada balita akan berdampak pada tinggi badan anak. Seorang ibu sangatlah penting mempunyai pengetahuan tentang cara mengenalkan pentingnya konsumsi protein hewani terhadap balita, dan bagaimana agar balita dapat menyukai protein hewani sebagai salah satu pangan yang penting untuk pertumbuhan. Metode pelaksanaan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melalui tiga tahapan yaitu: Tahap analisis situasi dan kondisi mitra, tahap edukasi dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan ibu yang memiliki anak balita tentang GEMARIKAN sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting di Kabupaten Indramayu.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi telah mempengaruhi pola belajar generasi Alpha yang akrab dengan perangkat digital. Teknologi yang peneliti pilih sebagai media pembelajaran adalah teknologi Augmented Reality. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Assemblr Edu berbasis teknologi Augmented Reality yang dikolaborasikan dengan model pembelajaran Anchored Instruction untuk materi pencemaran lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) yang disederhanakan menjadi tiga tahap. Subjek penelitian adalah 28 siswa kelas 7 SMP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media Assemblr Edu dengan model pembelajaran Anchored Instruction pada materi pencemaran lingkungan menunjukkan kategori “Sangat Valid” dengan dengan rata-rata skor 82,25%. Media Assemblr Edu dengan model pembelajaran Anchored Instruction pada materi pencemaran lingkungan dikategorikan sebagai media pembelajaran yang valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of the e-learning method and the level of learning motivation of students of the Social Science Education Department, University of Lampung. This study used a quantitative approach using a quantitative survey research design and data analysis using the Stata program version 14.2.The results of this study idicate (53%) students of the Department of Social Sciences, University of Lampung have a curently perception of the e-learning method and (52%) low learning motivation. Based on the Simultaneous Test (F test) it was found that there was a relationship between students' perceptions of the e-learning method and the level of learning motivation of students in the Department of Social Science Education, University of Lampung with a Prob>F value of 0.0097. Because of that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of the e-learning method with the level of student motivation in the Department of Social Science Education, University of Lampung.

Abstract

Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is one of the most common infectious diseases, predominantly caused by Escherichia coli. Increasing antibiotic resistance has driven the search for new antibacterial agents from natural sources. This study aims to evaluate the potential of bioactive compounds from Strobilanthes crispus as inhibitors of the E. coli MurE enzyme using an in-silico approach. Molecular docking, toxicity prediction, and pharmacokinetic analysis were performed. The docking results demonstrated that apigenin 7-O-beta-D-glucuronide exhibited the highest binding affinity toward MurE with a binding energy of -9,5 kcal/mol, followed by acteoside (-9,4 kcal/mol) and isoacteoside (-9,2 kcal/mol), outperforming ciprofloxacin (-7,1 kcal/mol). Pharmacokinetic analysis indicated that all tested compounds showed good solubility and acceptable safety profiles, althought they exhibited los gastrointestinal absorption and poor oral bioavailability. These findings suggest that S. crispus bioactive compounds possess promising potential as MurE inhibitors and warrant further optimization and experimental validation as antibacterial candidates against E. coli.
