Abstract

This research aims to develop digital book-based teaching materials to increase the effectiveness of Natural Sciences (IPAS) learning in elementary schools. With the development of information technology, the use of digital books as a learning resource can provide a more interactive, interesting and easily accessible learning experience for students. The research method used was research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The first stage begins with a needs analysis, followed by designing and developing digital books that are adapted to the applicable curriculum. Furthermore, the digital book was tested on a number of students to determine the extent to which this book could increase students' understanding and involvement in science learning. The results show that digital book-based teaching materials increase students' learning motivation, understanding of the material, and practical skills in science subjects. Therefore, the development of digital book-based teaching materials is highly recommended as an alternative to improving the quality of learning, which is more effective and enjoyable. Keywords: ADDIE Model, Digital book- based Teaching Materials, Educational Technology, Natural sciences.

Abstract

This study explains the implementation of green accounting in Pengambengan Village, Jembrana Regency. This research is included in the type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documents. The research subjects were determined based on the purposive sampling method and data analysis using Miles and Huberman. The results of the study showed that the classification of environmental costs carried out by the fish canning factory in Pengambengan Village, Jembrana Regency consisted of prevention costs, detection costs and internal failure costs. There is no external failure cost because the waste generated from the factory production process is not disposed of into the surrounding environment such as the beach but is processed by the company itself. The stages of environmental cost allocation consist of identification, recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student perceptions of online learning in class X SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with data collection methods used, namely questionnaires, interviews, and documents. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Bondowoso. The results of the research show that students' perceptions of online learning vary in terms of learning processes indicators and support. Students are less interested in learning online because they cannot interact smoothly with the teacher. In addition, students find it difficult to understand the material and do assignments because the assignments given are disproportionate. However, students can work on assignments independently. On the support indicator, some students receive support from related parties, including schools, government, and student guardians.

Abstract

Background: Batik Incung, a specialty in Sungai Penuh City, is a unique product that incorporates historical Kerinci tribe motifs, flora, and fauna. The use of plants as natural dyes enhances the value of the batik. Methodology: This ethnobotanical research employs an exploratory approach and was conducted in three central villages of Incung batik production, namely Sungai Penuh, Simpang Tiga Rawang, and Penawar Village. Data were collected through interviews with four Incung Batik artisans, compleneted by field surveys and direct observations to identify the plants used as dyes. Findings: The results showed that there were 14 species of plants used by Incung Batik artisans. The plant parts used were leaves, stem bark, seeds, roots, rhizomes, fruits, and fruit peels. These plants were obtained through cultivation, either from the wild or purchased in the market. Contribution: This research documents and enriches ethnobotanical data to support the preservation of local biodiversity, particularly within the Incung batik industry. Consequently, it promotes the development of innovative batik industry grounded in local wisdom, sustainability, and eco-friendliness

Abstract

This study aims to develop an experimental-based learning media in the form of a biobattery made from banana peel waste for the topic of voltaic cells. The research method used is the ADDIE development model. The analysis stage was carried out through curriculum review, observation of student needs, and identification of banana peels as a potential electrolyte material. In the design stage, a worksheet was prepared that was integrated with the procedure for making a simple biobattery. The development process included fabricating a biobattery from banana peels, assembling a simple voltaic cell, and creating an interactive learning media. Validation was carried out by material experts and media experts, resulting in an average feasibility score of 0.91 and 0.93, respectively, which are categorized as high. Practicality was assessed through a questionnaire, with small group trials achieving a score of 73.96% (practical) and field trials reaching 94.89% (very practical). Limited trials involving students in grades XI and XII showed that this media not only improved conceptual understanding of voltaic cells but also fostered environmental awareness through the utilization of organic waste. The evaluation results indicate that the biobattery learning media is suitable for use as an alternative tool for contextual and environmentally friendly chemistry practicums.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efficiency of working capital use at PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul, Tbk in 2019-2021. This research uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection by using secondary data document methods. The data analysis method used is by calculating the ratio of working capital turnover, receivables turnover and inventory turnover. The results showed that the efficiency of using working capital of PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul during 2019-2021 in terms of the ratio of working capital turnover, receivables and inventory was included in the less efficient criteria. The working capital turnover ratio shows that the turnover frequency is less than the efficiency standard of industrial enterprises, which is 6 times the turnover. The receivables turnover ratio shows an average frequency below the efficiency standard of 15 times and the average life of receivables can be collected much longer than the standard life of receivables which is 25 days, while inventory turnover shows a turnover frequency result of less than the standard efficiency of 20 times with the average life of inventory can be sold much longer than the standard inventory life of 19 days.

Abstract

High school students need to improve. Students in Batam, especially at the high school level, need to be equipped with sufficient knowledge to start investing, but an appropriate method is needed in conveying investment material because the age limit for trying to invest is 17 years while the age of high school students is not yet sufficient, so a method is needed. Another way to recognize investment from a young age is through practical games. Practicing investment games through capital market game simulations as one of the investment practice media for the early stages of Gen-Z through middle school students can be used as a practical tool where learning while playing is very popular with young people, especially Gen-Z. In implementing this community service, the method of implementing community service is divided into 3 stages, namely Pre-Field, Field, and Post-Field. This service activity is to increase the financial literacy of MHS Vocational School students and provide a better understanding of the capital market and investment from an early age. The success of this activity will provide sustainable benefits for MHS Batam Vocational School, with the availability of capital market simulation games as a means of increasing the financial literacy of students and teachers. This can help overcome the problem of low levels of financial literacy in society.
