Abstract

This study examines junior high school students’ digital morality (digital akhlak) through an analysis of Islamic Education (PAI) textbooks, focusing on the prevention of ghibah, slander/misinformation, and hate speech. The study is grounded in the growing intensity of adolescents’ online interactions, which heightens ethical risks such as online backbiting, the spread of unverified information (hoax), and degrading expressions that may harm social cohesion. The study aims to describe how the textbook represents values and prohibitions related to these issues, to analyze instructional presentation (narratives, religious evidence, learning activities, and assessments), and to assess the alignment of textbook content with a digital morality framework that contextualizes Islamic moral values for online environments. Using a library research design and content analysis of the PAI textbook as the primary document, the discussion is strengthened by recent Indonesian journal literature on digital literacy, Islamic communication ethics, and moral education for digital natives. The findings indicate that the textbook provides a strong basis for preventing ghibah through clear definitions, scriptural reinforcement, and affective messages about safeguarding others’ dignity; it addresses slander/misinformation primarily through operational tabayyun skills, including source and content verification and contextual checking; meanwhile, the prevention of hate speech is present implicitly through prohibitions against insulting, mocking, and prejudging, yet requires more explicit enrichment via contextual cases and ethical response strategies for students as bystanders. Overall, the textbook has substantial potential to foster students’ digital morality when supported by consistent classroom habituation and contextual pedagogy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pembiasaan shalat Dhuha dalam menumbuhkan disiplin positif di kalangan siswa di [nama sekolah]. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan fenomena pembiasaan shalat Dhuha secara mendalam. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga informan: kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), dan perwakilan siswa kelas 8, yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan shalat Dhuha secara signifikan berkontribusi pada pengembangan disiplin positif siswa, yang tercermin dalam peningkatan ketepatan waktu, tanggung jawab, dan kesadaran beragama. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sekolah perlu memperkuat program pembiasaan beragama dengan dukungan sistematis dari semua pemangku kepentingan dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual ke dalam budaya sekolah untuk mengoptimalkan pembentukan karakter disiplin positif siswa.

Abstract

This research method uses qualitative descriptive research. The data source used in this research used random sampling, totaling 6 parents in Andungsari Village, Andungsari District. The emergence of symptoms of a decline in morals that occur among young children can be seen in children's poor behavior and bad words spoken by young children. This research aims to find out the role of parents in the formation of morals in early childhood. Based on the results of research on the role of parents in forming children's morals, the results obtained are: parents have provided education in the form of moral and religious values, given examples of good behavior and speech, carried out habits with their children, some parents have also given sanctions, namely in the form of light punishments which have a deterrent effect on children. Apart from education in the family, factors that can influence the formation of morals are the school environment and community environment. From the results of interviews with parents, there were children who liked to talk dirty, this was due to the influence of friends when they were outside the house. On the other hand, there are also children who behave less well at home, but children are more reluctant at school because they feel afraid of teachers and people around them.

Abstract

In the learning process using discussion methods, educators must provide the best activities in the learning process and provide opportunities to students so that students can actively participate in learning that uses discussion methods so that they can exchange opinions so that they can affect learning and effective results. The formulation of this research problem is "Can the discussion method improve the learning outcomes of class XI students in the subjects of Aqidah Akhlak in MA Nuriddahlani Probolinggo?". The research method used is the method of class action, research that is carried out by studying the problems that occur by performing organized and planned actions and analyzing from each influence and action with the aim to overcome the problem that occurs. The results showed that the method of discussion in learning ahlaq the learners of each cycle with a pre-cycle level of completion of student learning 35.71% rose to 19 students or 67.85% increased, in cycle II to 28 students or 100%. This means the discussion methods used in learning successfully improve students' learning achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran Fikih di MTs Kun Fayakun. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya inovasi media pembelajaran yang sesuai perkembangan teknologi, guna membantu siswa memahami materi aplikatif seperti praktik ibadah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain ex-post facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 30 siswa kelas VII yang telah mengikuti pembelajaran Fikih menggunakan media video. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan tes pemahaman, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh instrumen valid dan reliabel, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,603. Artinya, penggunaan media video memberikan kontribusi sebesar 60,3% terhadap peningkatan pemahaman siswa, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media video tidak hanya mempermudah siswa memahami teori Fikih, tetapi juga mendukung pemahaman praktik ibadah melalui visualisasi konkret. Selain itu, media video dapat menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan meningkatkan motivasi serta keterlibatan aktif siswa. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media video dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Fikih di madrasah.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the demands of 21st-century skills place Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in a strategic position to enhance their professionalism and the quality of learning. Teachers are expected not only to master the four basic teaching competencies but also to adapt to technological changes and implement learning approaches relevant to the needs of today's students. This research aims to describe the development of professional competence of PAI teachers in the 21st-century education era through a comprehensive literature review. The method used is a literature study, examining national and international journals, educational policy documents, and various research related to digital literacy, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and the Learning Cycle 5E model. The analysis process was conducted descriptively to synthesize theoretical and empirical findings regarding the challenges, opportunities, and strategies for strengthening the competence of PAI teachers. The study results indicate that although PAI teachers understand the importance of 21st-century skills, their implementation remains limited due to low digital literacy and a lack of technology training. CPD, ICT integration, and the application of the Learning Cycle 5E model have been proven to support the improvement of students' pedagogical abilities and critical thinking. This research contributes to strengthening the theoretical framework regarding the professionalism of PAI teachers and provides practical implications for developing sustainable competencies that are adaptive to the demands of the modern era.

Abstract

This research focuses on the role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping students' character, particularly in the context of peer relationships at school, which exhibit signs of moral decline. The research problem formulation includes the role of Islamic Religious Education in student friendships and the characteristics that emerge in their social interactions. The results of this research are expected to provide theoretical and practical benefits. Theoretically, this research is expected to enrich understanding of the importance of Islamic Religious Education in the dynamics of friendship for the formation of student character. From a practical perspective, this research can be a means to increase experience in the world of education and the real world, provide guidance to students in choosing positive peers, increase parental awareness to pay more attention to and supervise their children's social environment, and serve as a reference for schools to improve supervision of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan e-learning berbasis video interaktif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Hadist Arba’in Nawawi di SMP IT Al-Amri. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang minim interaksi serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan media digital oleh pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, melibatkan 30 siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner divalidasi melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, dengan hasil Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,905 yang menunjukkan konsistensi tinggi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana melalui aplikasi SPSS versi 31. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-learning berbasis video interaktif memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,236. Artinya, sebesar 23,6% variasi motivasi belajar siswa dapat dijelaskan oleh penggunaan media video interaktif, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya inovasi digital dalam pembelajaran keagamaan guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan minat belajar siswa, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru lebih aktif mengembangkan media pembelajaran digital yang kontekstual, menarik, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik generasi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instructional planning in the digital era, moving from conceptual frameworks to contextual and applicable actions. Although theoretically designed to develop character and contextual Islamic values, the reality in the field shows that PAI lesson planning is still dominated by normative and administrative practices. This study highlights the need to reframe planning as a strategic process that integrates technology, participatory pedagogical approaches, and Islamic values that align with modern life. A qualitative approach with a library research method was employed, analyzing various scholarly sources on educational innovation, digitalization, and instructional design. The results reveal that PAI instructional planning transformation can be realized through three core components: technology integration, participatory learning models, and contextual reinforcement of Islamic values. By positioning the teacher as a learning experience designer, instructional planning in PAI can serve as a means to create inspirational, relevant, and transformative learning processes in the digital age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang bermakna melalui penerapan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berbasis proyek. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh kebutuhan untuk menghadirkan pembelajaran PAI yang relevan dengan kehidupan siswa serta mampu meningkatkan keterampilan aplikatif mereka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen hasil proyek siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model CTL berbasis proyek mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi PAI, sekaligus mendorong keterlibatan aktif, kreativitas, dan motivasi mereka dalam proses pembelajaran. Siswa juga menunjukkan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam menghubungkan nilai-nilai agama dengan situasi sosial di sekitar mereka. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran PAI yang lebih kontekstual, aplikatif, dan bermakna bagi siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
