Abstract

Peserta didik kelas II menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami, menghitung, dan menginterpretasikan konsep pecahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada materi pecahan dengan menerapkan pendekatan Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, melibatkan 25 peserta didik di SDN Karangasem IV Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes, dengan analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif komparatif untuk menilai peningkatan hasil belajar dari pra-siklus, siklus I, hingga siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari 60 pada pra-siklus menjadi 83,2 pada siklus I dan 94 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan juga meningkat dari 40% menjadi 64% dan 92%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan TaRL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan ketuntasan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar peserta didik karena hal tersebut dapat mendorong semangat peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan motivasi belajar pembelajaran IPAS dengan menerapkan media monopoli pada peserta didik kelas IV SDN Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV B yang berjumlah 24 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 7 perempuan dan 17 laki-laki. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam empat siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS dengan menggunakan media monopoli menunjukkan peningkatan. Peningkatan tersebut dari siklus I = 62,18%, siklus II = 68,75%, siklus III = 76,73%, dan siklus IV = 85,79%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, terlihat dari sikap dan perilaku yang lebih baik sehingga penerapan media monopoli efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPAS SDN Dukuhan Kerten.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada kelas III di SDN Wiropaten Surakarta menunjukkan minat belajar mata pelajaran IPAS masih rendah dengan rata-rata minat belajar 30%. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti, didapatkan hipotesis bahwa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar diantaranya adalah penggunaan metode dan media pembelajaran yang kurang efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa terhadap mata Pelajaran IPAS dengan menerapakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan media interaktif . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 15 siswa Kelas III SDN Wiropaten Surakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket minat belajar dan observasi, dengan analisis data menggunakan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan presentase peningkatan minat belajar siswa melalui metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dari 40% pada siklus 1, dengan kategori kurang baik, menjadi 73,34% pada siklus kedua, dengan kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbantuan media pembelajaran interaktif dapat meningkatkan minat belajar IPAS siswa kelas III SDN Wiropaten Surakarta.

Abstract

One of the learning models that involves three domains of learning outcomes (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) is project-based learning in science subjects. In practice, the application of this model should also not contradict the prevailing curriculum (Merdeka Curriculum). This study aimed to analyse the planning of natural and social sciences (IPAS) instructional design based on the project-based learning (PjBL) model. This research is descriptive qualitative with a case study method. The research participants comprise a teacher, a school principal, and 18 students of the 5th grade. The data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was Milles Huberman's interactive analysis. The researchers applied data validity test with triangulation of sources, techniques, and theories. The results of the study suggested that the planning of teaching modules based on the project-based learning model created by the teacher considered students’ learning achievements in line with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum in terms of syntaxes of the project-based learning. The results imply that teachers need to design systematic project stages, provide adequate resources, and provide space for collaboration and student creativity, and a rubric for assessing students' processes and outcomes in the planning stage of the IPAS instructional design based on project-based learning consistently in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of the Independent Curriculum of Technical Guidance (Bimtek) in improving teachers' teaching skills through a structured professional development program. A one-group pre-experimental design, i.e. pre-test-post-test, was used by involving 59 teachers who participated in the training. The findings showed a significant improvement in teaching competence, especially in the application of project-based learning, formative assessment, and interactive teaching strategies. The post-test results showed an average improvement of 14.83 points compared to the pre-test score, which confirms the positive impact of the training. Teachers who received mentoring and post-training coaching showed greater skill improvement than those who only attended self-training sessions. In addition, the In-On-In model has proven to be more effective in encouraging sustainable pedagogical improvement. Despite these positive results, challenges remain, such as time constraints and access to ongoing support, which affect the effectiveness of Technical Guidance in the long term. Compared to other training models, Bimtek offers a cost-effective and adaptable approach to professional development, which ensures practical and sustainable solutions to improve the quality of teaching. These findings highlight the importance of a structured and sustainable teacher training program to support the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum in primary schools.

Abstract

Technology in the 5.0 revolution is developing very rapidly so it is necessary to prepare the student to face the challenges of the 21st century by having 21st century skills, namely critical thinking Having a low category of critical thinking because the teacher in using the media has not facilitated students to think critically tends to be monotonous and boring. The purpose of this experiment is to establish the effective of AR media to improving learners' critical thinking skills on IPAS material. The study used quantitative research methods with the research type true experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection methods used are test instrument. The results of the study were tested Independent T-Test to find out the enhancing students' critical thinking skills then conducted an effectiveness test to determine the effectiveness of the application of Augmented Reality-based learning media to improve critical thinking skills on IPAS material. The research results of the average value of the experimental class using AR media are 58.92 and 75.98 while the average value of the control class using conventional media is 58.80 and 63.56. The test results of the Independent Sample T-Test obtained with a value of 0.000 with the provisions of the test decision if significant less than 0.05 then there is sig. effects among the experimental and control posttests. The effective test using N-Gain obtained a result of 56.52 which was categorized as sufficient. It is synthesized that AR-based learning media improves critical thinking skills and the effectiveness of AR-based learning media is effective to use with the N-Gain test.

Abstract

The challenge for prospective elementary school teachers in generation Z is teacher professionalism related to learning issues, soft skills, and mastery of technology as demands of the 21st century. Multitasking for prospective teachers often occurs and has an impact on learning. This research analyzes prospective elementary school teachers' perceptions of skills, creative thinking, career adaptability, and personal goals related to learning using Rasch model analysis. The survey method was used in this quantitative research. Research participants were selected using a purposive sample of 70 prospective elementary school teachers. Questionnaires were used in data collection to analyze participant perceptions. The questionnaire was filled out using a 1-4 Likert scale, and the data was then analyzed using the Rasch model. Each instrument element is analyzed in more detail in the Rasch model. The results showed that all participants had an average logit item (+1.03 logit). Person reliability is 0.90, and item reliability is 0.95, meaning each statement item describes the participant's perception. Aspects of sciencepreneurship, creative thinking, career adaptability, and personal goals mutually support the professionalism of an elementary school teacher. The recommendation for further research is to use the Rasch model appropriately to identify participant perceptions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of ethnoscience-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on students' science literacy, measure the level of improvement in students' science literacy, and analyze students' science literacy levels in terms of context, competence, and knowledge aspects. The research uses a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The quantitative part of the study is conducted using a quasi-experiment, while the qualitative part employs field research. Data analysis techniques include the Mann-Whitney U test for quantitative data and triangulation techniques to validate data. The Miles and Huberman and Saldana model is used for qualitative data analysis.The study found that the use of ethnoscience-based PjBL significantly affects students' science literacy, with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. The increase in science literacy in the experimental class is categorized as high, at 0.71, while the control class shows a moderate category, at 0.60. In terms of science literacy levels, the experimental class reached a minimum of level 4, while the control class still had students at level 3. This means that students in the experimental class had better science literacy compared to the control class, particularly in terms of prospective elementary school teachers. Among the three aspects of science literacy, the competence aspect was the highest in both the experimental and control classes compared to the other aspects.

Abstract

Mastery of 21st-century competencies for students is one of the efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of human resources, and one of these competencies is critical thinking skills. Learning tools integrated with technology have become one of the needs of 21st-century students in the digital era. This article is part of research on developing a Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-module to enhance critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The article describes one of the results of the needs analysis, which is a literature study consisting of previous research studies related to the use of Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-modules in improving critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a literature review, specifically analyzing articles from previous research studies on using Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-modules to enhance critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The review is limited to accredited journals from 2019 to 2023. The conclusion drawn from this study is that flipbook e-modules have been widely used in elementary school learning, focusing on specific subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and thematic subjects. Flipbook e-modules can be created using Kvsoft Flipbook Maker or Fliphtml5, incorporating elements such as images, videos, music, and quiz exercises. Flipbook e-modules can be effectively used to enhance critical thinking skills when integrated with innovative learning models such as Problem-Based Learning. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for future research and development of e-modules.

Abstract

Lahan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam bidang pertanian. Tingginya tingkat kepadatan penduduk menyebabkan lahan pekarangan yang dimiliki oleh setiap rumah menjadi sangat terbatas.  Wilayah Desa Panjer, Kecamatan Kebumen, Kabupaten Kebumen merupakan salah satu wilayah semi-perkotaan dengan kepadatan penduduk yang cukup tinggi sehingga masyarakat desa ini memiliki lahan pekarangan yang terbatas. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) UNS dengan tujuan untuk mengatasi hambatan yang muncul dari terbatasnya lahan pekarangan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Desa Panjer. Metode pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pemanfaatan lahan terbatas untuk budidaya tanaman sayur serta penerapan teknologi pertanian yang ramah lingkungan. Peserta dari kegiatan ini adalah perwakilan dari masing-masing RW di Desa Panjer serta beberapa tokoh masyarakat. Kegiatan yang dilakukan telah memberikan manfaat bagi peserta kegiatan melalui pengenalan dan pelatihan yang diberikan. Penggunaan teknologi pertanian yang ramah lingkungan juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan terlihat dari keaktifan peserta sosialisasi melalui sesi tanya jawab serta penerapan secara langsung dari ilmu yang didapatkan. Kegiatan ini telah berhasil memberikan hasil yang positif bagi masyarakat di Desa Panjer. Keberlanjutan program ini akan terus dipantau untuk memastikan manfaat yang dirasakan dapat bertahan dalam jangka panjang.
