Abstract

Abstract: This The increasing waste problem indicates that maintaining a clean and healthy environment needs to be a shared concern, as it affects public health, psychological well-being, social conditions, and the economy. This study aims to identify the role of WE SAVE NTB in developing environmentally conscious character among the community in Mataram City, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors, and to analyze the impact of these roles. The focus of this research stems from the importance of strengthening environmental awareness and character through programs implemented by WE SAVE NTB. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, which examined in depth the organization’s role through programs carried out based on real conditions in the field. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, using interview guidelines, observation sheets, and documentation guides as instruments. The subjects and informants in this study consisted of seven people, including three core administrators, two active members of WE SAVE NTB, and two community representatives. Data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, which involves three stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the role of WE SAVE NTB is manifested through three main programs, namely the English Course Paid with Waste, Qur’an Recitation at Maghrib Paid with Waste, and Waste Alms. The supporting factors include active community participation and external support from various parties, while the inhibiting factors consist of limited transportation facilities for waste collection and declining member motivation. These programs have had a significant positive impact on the community, especially on children and parents, as reflected in behavioral changes in waste sorting, increased awareness of cleanliness, and the formation of an environmentally conscious culture.Abstrak: Permasalahan sampah yang semakin meningkat menunjukkan bahwa menjaga lingkungan yang bersih dan sehat perlu menjadi perhatian bersama, karena berdampak pada kesehatan, kesejahteraan psikologis, sosial, dan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran WE SAVE NTB dalam membangun karakter masyarakat peduli lingkungan di Kota Mataram, dan mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta menganalisis dampak dari peran tersebut. Fokus penelitian ini berangkat dari pentingnya penguatan karakter peduli lingkungan melalui program-program yang dijalankan oleh WE SAVE NTB. Metode Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, yang menelaah secara mendalam peran WE SAVE NTB melalui program-program yang dilaksanakan sesuai kondisi nyata di lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, dan panduan dokumentasi. Subjek dan Informan penelitian berjumlah tujuh orang, terdiri atas tiga pengurus inti dan dua anggota aktif WE SAVE NTB, serta dua perwakilan masyarakat. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang meliputi tiga tahap: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran WE SAVE NTB diwujudkan melalui tiga program, yaitu kursus bahasa inggris berbayar sampah, magrib mengaji berbayar sampah, dan sedekah sampah. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan program meliputi partisipasi aktif masyarakat serta dukungan eksternal dari berbagai pihak. Adapun faktor penghambat yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan transportasi dalam pengangkutan sampah dan menurunnya motivasi anggota. Program-program tersebut memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap masyarakat, terutama pada anak-anak dan orang tua, yang tercermin dari perubahan perilaku dalam memilah sampah, meningkatnya kesadaran menjaga kebersihan, serta terbentuknya budaya peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

Moral education serves as a fundamental pillar in shaping students’ character, particularly at the primary school level. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of a habit-based moral education program at SDN 7 Ampenan, a school situated within a complex social environment. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the programs Berbaris Kasih Sayang (Affectionate Morning Line-up), Upacara Pagi Spiritual (Spiritual Morning Ceremony), and the Literaksi Program are consistently implemented to instill moral values in students. Classroom strategies employed by teachers—such as providing positive affirmations, facilitating spiritual reflection, assigning daily moral tasks, and managing conflicts in an educational manner—further reinforce the internalization of moral values in students’ daily lives. The program has shown a significant impact, particularly on students from less supportive family backgrounds, by fostering self-confidence, empathy, and discipline. These findings highlight the importance of a structured habituation approach and emotionally supportive teacher-student relationships in the success of moral education. The study recommends the adoption of similar programs in other schools, with necessary adaptations to suit their respective social and cultural contexts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Number Head Together dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VII C di SMPN 7 Mataram. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta Angket, dengan subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII C di SMPN 7 Mataram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang jelas pada penerapan model Number Head Together dan keaktifan belajar siswa di setiap siklus. Pada Siklus I, penerapan model mencapai 75% dengan keaktifan belajar sebesar 43%. Siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan, dengan penerapan model 83% dan keaktifan belajar 66%. Selanjutnya, pada Siklus III, penerapan model meningkat menjadi 91% dan keaktifan belajar siswa menjadi 82%. Terakhir, pada Siklus IV, penerapan model mencapai 100% dengan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat hingga 93%. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa model Number Head Together efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa. Oleh karena itu, model ini dapat direkomendasikan sebagai strategi pembelajaran alternatif untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance teacher professionalism through scientific article writing training in Mataram City. The program was motivated by the low academic writing competence among teachers, with only about 30% having prior publication experience. A total of 35 participants, consisting of 25 junior high school teachers and 10 pre-service teachers, were involved in activities that included socialization, intensive workshops, mentoring, and the use of supporting technologies such as Mendeley, Turnitin, and Google Classroom. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test demonstrated an improvement in participants’ scores from 67% to 78%, representing an 11% increase, with the highest achievement in academic ethics (85%). Furthermore, participants successfully developed article drafts, one of which was prepared for submission to a SINTA 4–accredited journal, and established a scientific writing community along with the production of a textbook Writing Educational Articles: From Ideas to Publication as additional outputs. These results indicate that practice-based training, personal mentoring, and the integration of technology are effective in improving academic literacy and teacher professionalism. The novelty of this program lies in combining academic literacy training with the creation of sustainable outputs (textbook and community), making it a replicable model for other regions with similar challenges.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in developing students' character, particularly honesty and hard work, through a character and discipline guidance program at SDN 7 Cakranegara. Method: This research uses an ex post facto method with a descriptive qualitative approach involving interviews, observations, and documentation. Results: The findings show that teachers play a significant role through exemplary behavior, routine moral habituation, motivational strategies, and participatory learning methods. Although the program positively shapes students' honesty and work ethic, challenges remain, especially students’ diverse backgrounds and low learning motivation. Novelty: Strengthening instructional strategies, parental involvement, and continuous character-building activities proved essential in internalizing honesty and hard work among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; (1) mendeskripsikan keadaan karakter santri Pondok Pesantren Babussalam Kecamatan Gangga Kabupaten Lombok Utara, (2) menganalisis manajemen pembinaan karakter religius santri, (3) mengidentifikasi faktor penghambat pembinaan karakter religius. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter santri secara umum telah mencerminkan nilai religius, namun masih ditemukan perilaku kurang disiplin dalam ibadah, kejujuran, dan adab. Manajemen pembinaan karakter religius dilaksanakan melalui empat fungsi: perencanaan program, pengorganisasian tugas kepengurusan, pelaksanaan melalui pembiasaan ibadah dan penegakan disiplin, serta pengawasan berjenjang. Faktor penghambat meliputi kurangnya kerja sama dengan keluarga, pengaruh pergaulan, perbedaan latar belakang santri, dan tantangan lingkungan digital. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen pembinaan karakter religius di Pondok Pesantren Babussalam telah berjalan cukup efektif, namun tetap memerlukan penguatan kolaborasi dan strategi pembinaan yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe efforts to fulfill the right to education for children with disabilities at SLBN 1 Central Lombok and to identify the challenges in fulfilling these rights. This study used a qualitative approach using a case study. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Efforts to fulfill the right to education for children with disabilities include the implementation of an adaptive and flexible Independent Curriculum (Curriculum Merdeka), differentiated learning strategies, an emphasis on developing life skills, independence, and entrepreneurship, and providing opportunities to develop potential through academic, vocational, and personal development activities. Furthermore, the school provides facilities, learning equipment and aids, and supportive classroom environments, yet challenges remain, including a limited number of qualified educators for various types of disabilities, the diversity of student disabilities, and limitations in educational facilities and services, such as the lack of a LAS skills room and ongoing classroom renovations. Therefore, support from various parties is needed so that inclusive education at SLBN 1 Central Lombok runs optimally and sustainably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya sekolah dalam mengembangkan karakter religius dan disiplin siswa melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka serta faktor penghambatnya di MTsN 2 Sumbawa Barat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karakter religius dilakukan melalui pembiasaan doa sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan, kegiatan mengaji, zikir dan wirid bersama, pelaksanaan salat berjamaah, serta kegiatan bakti sosial sebagai implementasi nilai kepedulian dan keikhlasan. Sementara itu, pengembangan karakter disiplin dilaksanakan melalui ketaatan terhadap aturan dan jadwal, latihan baris-berbaris (PBB), kerja sama dalam regu, serta penerapan sistem konsekuensi berupa penghargaan dan hukuman edukatif secara konsisten. Proses pembinaan tersebut mendorong pergeseran dari kepatuhan berbasis regulasi eksternal menuju kesadaran intrinsik siswa. Faktor penghambat yang ditemukan meliputi motivasi dan kesadaran diri siswa yang belum stabil, kurangnya dukungan dan pembiasaan dari keluarga, pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan media, serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana pendukung kegiatan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa kegiatan Pramuka berpotensi menjadi wahana strategis dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter di madrasah apabila didukung oleh konsistensi pembinaan, sinergi sekolah–keluarga, dan lingkungan yang kondusif. School Efforts in Developing Students' Religious Character and Discipline Through Scout Extracurricular Activities at MTsN 2 West Sumbawa Abstract This study aims to determine the school's efforts in developing students' religious character and discipline through Scout extracurricular activities and its inhibiting factors in MTsN 2 West Sumbawa. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the development of religious character is implemented through habituation of prayer before and after activities, Qur’anic recitation, dhikr and wirid, congregational prayers, and social service activities as the embodiment of sincerity and social care. Meanwhile, disciplined character is fostered through adherence to rules and schedules, marching drills (PBB), teamwork within patrol groups, and the consistent application of educational sanctions and rewards. These strategies contribute to a gradual shift from externally regulated obedience toward students’ intrinsic awareness. The inhibiting factors include unstable student motivation and self-awareness, limited parental support and home habituation, the influence of social and media environments, and limited facilities and infrastructure. The study concludes that Scout extracurricular activities have strong potential as a strategic medium for strengthening character education in Islamic secondary schools when supported by consistent guidance and synergy among school, family, and community.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Kaliber TM Multimodal Program (Kamis Aksi Literasi based on Multimodal Texts) on the literacy of Grade V students at SDN 32 Ampenan. The study uses a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach, involving 40 students as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. The research instruments consist of a literacy questionnaire and observation sheets developed based on upper-grade elementary literacy indicators from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, which include reading, writing, listening, and literacy habits. The results show that students’ literacy reached an average score of 78.5 (high category), with reading = 80.2, writing = 76.8, listening = 77.4, and literacy habits = 79.6. The simple linear regression test produced the equation Y = 52.3 + 0.46X, and the determination coefficient R² = 0.42, indicating that the program contributes 42% to literacy improvement. The t-test results (t = 4.92, t-table = 2.02) show a significant influence between the implementation of the program and students’ literacy. Therefore, the Kaliber TM Multimodal Program is proven effective in improving literacy skills of students at SDN 32 Ampenan and is suitable to be used as a model for strengthening literacy in elementary schools in the 21st century.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has reshaped educational ecosystems and compelled schools to adopt learning paradigms that integrate character formation as a central dimension of 21st-century competency development. This study investigates the impact of school program strategies on students’ character development within the dynamic context of digital-era educational transformation. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted in several Indonesian secondary schools that have implemented digitally supported and collaborative character education initiatives. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and the analysis of school policy documents, followed by triangulation to ensure methodological rigor. The findings reveal that school program strategies explicitly grounded in character values such as discipline, responsibility, empathy, and collaboration exert a significant influence on students’ behavioral patterns and socio-emotional dispositions. Technology integrated initiatives, including online learning platforms and digital extracurricular activities, enhance the internalization of character values by creating contextual and meaningful learning experiences. Nonetheless, challenges persist, particularly regarding inconsistencies in implementation and varying levels of engagement from teachers and other stakeholders. Overall, the study underscores the importance of strong alignment between school policies, instructional practices, and the broader learning environment to cultivate students who are adaptive, ethically minded, and socially responsible in the digital transformation era.
