Abstract

The Inter-cultural communication is expected to inspire business opportunities and cross cultural communication. The main objection is the mind set changing of students at SDN Lenteng Agung 11 and IBI Kosgoro 1957 students for their professional career in the future. The other aim is to broaden local horizons into global ones. The inter-cultural communication has strategic potential to inspire Indonesian students to see wider business opportunities with more innovative and creatively. It is expected to lead the entrepreneurship enhancement. The method is counseling with the participatory observation combining. The result showed that the student’s entrepreneurship insight appearanced based on the various professions of Korean guests. The developed, high-income country, Korea rely its economic on private sector. Intercultural communication is expected to inspire Indonesian students to build businesses based on creative ideas based on Korea culture. Through this activity, there is mind set changing and increase business self-confidence among Indonesian students.

Abstract

The topic of community service is ‘Fostering the harmonious relationships amongst member of family’ by utilising effective communication approach. This program was warmly welcomed by the member of women’s PKK organisation of Jatipadang, Pasar Minggu, Jakarta. Keeping harmonious family relationships in a household has been challenging lately. The lack of effective communication amongst member of family occur in conjuction with the rapid development of technology and digital era. A family is indeed the basic foundation of community in social life. This activity is conducted temporarily. The people in charge of this program delivered the presentation which was interspersed with sharing experiences and followed by questions and answers sessions.This activity was conducted in an informal setting. The participants followed it eagerly and enthusiastically and willing to share their experiences in their households. The people in charge of this program realised that this activity could have been more effective and successful if men (their husbands) joined the discussions. Due to their difficulty in finding the right time, this activity therefore was only attended by the women. The driving factor of this activity was indeed the women’s member of PKK in Jatipadang, Pasar Minggu, who concerned about the changing relations among the members in their households. The limitation of time provided and the typical mom’s busy schedule settings are of two obstacles to make this program more successful. The diversity of their cultural and educational backgrounds has also contributed to the nature of this program delivered

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the education marketing strategy carried out by the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, as well as the factors that influence the education marketing strategy at the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. This research method is in the form of qualitative descriptive, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The key informant in this study was the principal, and the supporting informants were educators, education staff, students, and the community around the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School. The results of this study indicate that the Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School has implemented a fairly good educational marketing strategy, several programs and services are offered and can attract public interest and taste, the promotional activities carried out by the school are quite good and a special team has been formed to promote education. Promotional activities carried out by schools include placing banners, distributing brochures, placing advertisements, and outreach to other schools. There is something unique about the promotion at Al-Amlaul Khair Islamic Junior High School, namely "picking up the ball", in which the school gives a brochure to each student and students distribute it to their respective addresses, if the student succeeds in bringing in a new student, the student will be given a prize. from school.

Abstract

An online transaction activities are involving exchange of messages and information. This isactually part human activities in order to fulfill the human’s need which is also part of what socalledbusiness communication. Business communication itself has been improved and developedin many fields in recent years. Selling books online and using the social media platform such asFacebook is one of them. This study aims to study the business communication model of sellingbooks using particularly the social media platform of Facebook as a medium. In this context, thesellers play a role as the communicators while the buyers in the position of communicants.Throughboth method of non-participatory and participatory observations, this study shows there are threecategories of mainly books that sold online. First is the brand new books (new prints/new textbooks), second is the used books (known as the secondhand books) and the third is what so calledthe collectable, rare and antique books. Using an in-depth interview for analysing businesscommunication model and marketing strategies of selling books online in Facebook, it is evidencethat both sellers and buyers have been using and optimilising their networks of friendship throughtheir friend list contacts, both for their interpersonal as well as community communications. They utilise the communications among book lovers and book collectors as the most important strategyof their marketing approach. Therefore, it is clear that both personal and social networking areexisted side by side in this social media context for the purpose of their business communication.When someone selling a book online in Facebook, they normally would post the image or photodetailing the book which can be seen by all contacts in their networks including those book loversor book collectors who often would re-sell their book again online, by using the same social medianetworks. This research also shows that there are only certain kind of books that mostly soughtafter by people who use online book selling networks in Facebook. This information comes fromcontents mainly collected from the wall of Facebook. The list of most popular and top selling booksare quite long. Any works by the famous Indonesian writer Pramoedya Ananta Toer (PAT) are themost popular ones. People are also looking for books on literature, the leftist, military, history,religion, politics, economics, law, social and cultural issues. Leisure books such as comics andnovels are also selling well

Abstract

Kampung Keluarga Berencana (Kampung KB) merupakan sebuah inovasi strategis yang dikeluarkan pemerintah sebagai sebuah kebijakan dalam menangani pemasalahan kependudukan baik dalam menekan laju pertumbuhan penduduk maupun masalah kemisikinan di Indonesia. Implementasi kampanye Kampung KB di Kota Depok menjadi tanggung jawab dari Dinas Perlindungan Anak Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Keluarga (DPAPMK). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses implementasi kampanye Kampung KB yang dilakukan oleh DPAPMK. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa implementasi kampanye Kampung KB yang dilakukan DPAPMK melalui beberapa tahap yaitu tahap pendataan, perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program serta montoring dan evaluasi program. Hal tersebut sesuai dengan proses langkah kerja public relations. Sedangkan hambatan komunikasi yang ditemukan yaitu hambatan teknis, hambatan sosial, hambatan semantik dan hambatan penerimaan pesan.

Abstract

Kesenian Gong Si Bolong walaupun telah beberapa kali mendapatkan penghargaan di level Provinsi Jawa Barat, namun eksistensinya mengalami potensi penurunan minat di kalangan pemuda sebagi penerus budaya asli di Kota Depok Jawa Barat. Padahal Kesenian Gong Si Bolong banyak sekali mengandung makna bahkan konon mengandung daya magis suara merdu bagi yang mendengarnya. Untuk menjaga kelestarian salah satu budaya di Jawa Barat yang asli Kota Depok, maka Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat IBI Kosgoro 57 melakukan edukasi, motovasi dan penanaman ulang Kesenian Gong Si Bolong di kalangan komunitas pemuda beberapa Karang Taruna Kota Depok. Metode yang digunakan melalui penyuluhan langsung tatap muka dan pelatihan pengetahuan tentang Kesenian Gong Si Bolong dengan hasil yang dicapai antara lain 1) Mengetahui pentingnya budaya seni secara umum dan Kesenian Gong Si Bolong pada khususnya, 2) Menyadari adanya ancaman budaya asing yang akan mengurangi keunikan suatu budaya lokal sebagai pemersatu lintas generasi dan sejarah, 3) Terciptanya komitmen terhadap Kesenian Gong Si Bolong di kalangan komunitas pemuda, 4) Mencetak potensi penerus Kesenian Gong Si Bolong sebagai penerus budaya seni tersebut untuk kelestarian budaya seni suatu bangsa

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dalam mewujudukan tujuan pendidikan islam di SMPN 29 Palembang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 29 Palembang. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi informan kunci adalah pembina pramuka dan informan pendukung adalah Kepala Sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler pramuka dapat dikatakan sudah cukup baik dapat dilihat dari indikator pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan yaitu koordinasi, motivasi, komunikasi, dan pengarahan. Kegiatan pramuka di SMPN 29 Palembang dapat menjadi salah satu strategi dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan islam. Analisis dilakukan melalui 1) kecerdasan berpikir (IQ) yaitu siswa mampu menyelesaikan masalah, terampil, rajin, cermat, dan jernih dalam berpikir; 2) kecerdasan emosional (EQ) yaitu siswa bertanggungjawab, berani, dan jernih dalam berkata; dan 3) kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) yaitu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, cinta kepada alam, manusia, dan tanah air, dan jernih dalam berbuat.

Abstract

The activities of marketing communication through promotional strategies are a significant efforts for CGV Central Park Cinemas in order to increase the interests of their customers.The purpose of this study is to determine the marketing communication strategy of CGV Central Park by looking at their mixtures of promotional efforts as well as  all the challenges within their promotional activities. Furthermore, the research is also intended to search for the most prominent form of  the CGV Cinema Central Park promotion efforts.The research applies descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is carried out through observations, interviews, literature reviews as well as  documentation. The key informants are determined by using the purposive sampling.  analysis of data  is carried out through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.This research shows that the CGV Cinema Central Park has been actively promoted itself  digitally through social media platforms of Gopay and Linkaja. This approach is used as a co-branding strategy so that the hard selling approach can still be used to boost the ticket sales in terms of price (discounts, presale, cashback through sales promotion program, personal sales and those direct marketing (direct marketing).Compared to advertising promotions, it seems that they are quite responsive in order to implement thr soft selling through sharing advertisements to the mall tenants, advertisement that placed in eye-catching spots, Central Park mall customers,  as well as at interactive media and marketing Public relations. In addition, they are also actively promoting themselves to companies by offering mixture of programs such as   Culturflex (Nobar, gathering, dance cover, shooting, shooting venue). It seems that there are still some obstacles for using CGV Central Park social media due to the limitation applied in sharing the content on IG (Instagram).  This is indeed a part of policy coming from the central CGV.  Clearly, this particular aspect is an inhibiting factor that limit them to work  more creative and innovate in order to attract more interests among their customers .

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi menyebabkan perubahan iklim bisnis yang sangat drastis. Penerapan teknologi merupakan upaya untuk memberi jalan kemudahan dan mengurangi waktu yang digunakan dalam operasional bisnis. Teknologi Informasi dan komunikasi yang merupakan media pendukung bisnis yang terdiri dari hardware dan software membutuhkan kecakapan penggunanya dalam pemanfaatan media tersebu. UMKM (Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah) yang merupakan komponen ekonomi saat ini turut andil dalam membangun perekonomian melalui kegiatan ekonomi produktif melalui penggunaan teknologi yang ada. Peningkatan kapasitas bisnis UMKM di wilayah Jagakarsa Jakarta Selatan dapat melalui penggunaan dan pemanfaatan sosial media. Kegiatan (PKM) Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dapat mendukung para pelaku UMKM adalah berupa bimbingan teknis pada para pelaku UMKM untuk membangun strategi bisnis. Hasil yang sangat diharapkan pada kegiatan ini berupa keilmuan yang akan meningkatkan knowledge dan skill dalam memanfaatkan social media marketing yang menunjang pemasaran dan penjualan.
