Abstract

Komunikasi memegang peranan penting kehidupan manusia. Berkomunikasi ialah bertukarnya pesan dan menimbulkan efek bagi audiens-nya.. Seni berbicara didepan umum dikenal dengan istilah Public Speaking adalah bentuk proses komunikasi yang didalamnya terdapat keahlian atau kompetensi ketrampilan. Berani tampil berbeda, unik diperkuat sikap percaya diri didepan publik merupakan modal utama bagi pemuda dan pemudi sebagai cikal bakal menjadi seorang pemimpin. Pemimpin yang mampu menginformasi, mendidik serta menghibur lawan bicaranya. Pelatihan Public Speaking pada  Pengurus OSIS SMKN 62  sebagai perwujudan program Pengabdian Kepada Mayarakat (PKM) yang diikuti 20 siswa tergabung dalam pengurus OSIS. Program ini dikreasikan dalam bentuk pelatihan dengan tujuan agar pengurus OSIS  mampu berbicara di depan umum,, memahami dasar-dasar materi public speaking yang akan diajarkan, serta mampu  mnerapkan teknik public speaking dan strategi ketrampilan public speaking. Pelatihan ini dilakukan selama dua hari. Selama pelatihan, peserta memperoleh materi dasar-dasar yang dipadukan teknik public speaking. Pra-pelaksanaan dimulai observasi awal,yang pelaksanaannya berupa adaptasi pelatihan, pengenalan materi, praktek, serta difinalisasi dengan evaluasi dan monitoring sebagai pemenuhan ketercapaian. Hasil dari pelatihan cukup baik meski belum maksimal akan tetapi telah meningkat kemampuan dasar-dasar public speaking dari; kepercayaan diri,  sikap sempurna berbicara dengan menggunakan gesture dan gerakan tubuh (kontak mata, gerakan bahasa) serta mampu membawakan materi dengan baik disertai teknik-teknik public speaking.

Abstract

The purpose of research is to know the cultural ethnic cohesiveness in the conformity of local wisdom, a study of social construction and management of intercultural communication among Chinese citizens in Bogor Regency. By using qualitative descriptive method and analysis, the several findings were obtained. First, in the Chinese Village of Inkopad-Inkopol, West Bogor, the cultural cohesiveness has been initiated since the colonial era, through a family approach. The conformity of local wisdom is shown by the involvement of ethnic Chinese in "abangan" Islamic worship. Second, in the Chinese Community Housing Cinere Depok, the cohesiveness is more visible on the socio-economic side. When the Chinese community shows their simplicity of living in a rural village, there is an interaction of closeness and togetherness. There is a kind of inclusiveness. The local cultural conformity is shown through the mixed of Chinese citizens in supporting social and cultural activities. Third, at the Wihara Amurwa Bhumi Cibinong, Chinese Ethnic Communication Forum, the Chinese are more dominant in showing their organizational character and ancestral culture that they continue to fight for. The cultural cohesiveness occured precisely in an exclusivity strategy. As a result, the exclusivity gave birth to uniqueness, which turned out to be a kind of tourist attraction for the surrounding community. This area is actually very well known for its ethnic performances.

Abstract

In this research, the writer chose the object of an advertisement for a phenomenal comic series, namely One Piece. The results of the study show that from the denotative side tells about the life of urban residents in the city center, from the connotative side it equality and from the mythical side it conveys the influence of the One Piece story on women's enthusiasm in realizing dreams. The results of the study also found 5 Roland Barthes narrative codes, including: hermeneutic code used in the dialogue about people who’ve never read One Piece mean they haven’t truly live. Proairetic code is used influence reading One Piece. Semantic code is in the description of the main character's work. Symbolic code can be seen in the antithesis of the main character's character, namely the nature of his partner. The cultural code is found in the depiction of the main character and his partner who live together even though they are not married.

Abstract

Academic stress is a significant issue experienced by students at various levels of education. Academic stress can have a negative impact on students' well-being and their academic performance. Individual counseling has been recognized as an effective approach in helping students cope with academic stress. Therefore, this desk research aims to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate relevant sources on individual counseling strategies to address academic stress in university students. The desk research method was conducted by collecting relevant literature sources through academic databases, scientific journals, and books related to the research topic. The selected sources must have good methodological strength and be relevant to individual counseling strategies to overcome academic stress in college students. Afterwards, the sources were critically analyzed to identify the main findings and successful individual counseling strategies in reducing academic stress in university students. The results of the analysis and synthesis of the literature sources show that there are several individual counseling strategies that are effective in addressing academic stress in university students. These strategies include relaxation techniques, time management, study skills development, social support, self-regulation, and adaptive mindset development. Previous research has also shown that individual counseling conducted by trained and experienced counselors has a positive impact in reducing academic stress and improving student well-being. This study has important implications for counseling practitioners and researchers in the field of education. By understanding effective individual counseling strategies, counseling practitioners can develop appropriate and scalable interventions to help college students cope with academic stress. In addition, this study also identified research gaps that could be an opportunity for further research in this area.

Abstract

Komunikasi merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam hubungan sosial. Komunikasi sangat diperlukan untuk manusia dapat saling berinteraksi dengan baik. Adapun komunikasi digital adalah upaya yang dilakukan untuk menunjang proses komunikasi pada umumnya. Digitalisasi pada komunikasi ini adalah melibatkan perangkat digital dalam interaksi dan komunikasi. Untuk menghasilkan pola dan pemahaman komunikasi digital yang baik maka sangat diperlukan adanya pembinaan dan pendampingan dalam mempelajari pola komunikasi digital. Desa Tamansari merupakan Desa yang sedang berkembang dengan dukungan komunikasi digital tersebut. Untuk itu maka dibuatlah Bimbingan Teknis yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan komunikasi khususnya yang berbasis digital untuk para Aparatur Desa Tamansari. Bimbingan teknis ini dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi atau seminar berkaitan dengan komunikasi digital. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di Kantor Desa Tamansari dan diikuti oleh seluruh Aparatur Desa Tamansari, Ciapus, Bogor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Marketing, Product Innovation and Social Capital, on the Success of Improving Marketing Performance (Studies on SMEs in South Sumatra). The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with quota sampling. In this study, a sample of 100 respondents was obtained with the criteria of beneficiaries of UMKM in South Sumatra. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a measuring instrument in the form of a Likert scale. The variables contained in this study are the dependent and independent variables. The data used is primary data with quantitative research methods. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS. This study shows the results that the significance value of the social capital variable on marketing performance is 0.653 > 0.05 and the value of ???? ℎ ???????????????????? < ???????????????????????? is 0.451 < 1.985. Based on these results, H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, which means that social capital has no effect on the marketing performance of MSMEs in South Sumatra. The results of the significance of the Digital Marketing variable on marketing performance are 0.101 > 0.05 and the value of ???? ℎ ???????????????????? < ???????????????????????? is 1.654 < 1.985. Based on these results, H0 is accepted and H2 is rejected, which means that Digital Marketing has no effect on the Marketing Performance of MSMEs in South Sumatra. Based on these results, H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted, which means that product innovation has a significant effect on the marketing performance of MSMEs in South Sumatra so that the higher the product innovation that is owned, the higher the resulting marketing performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Human Resource Development on Employee Performance in South Sumatra city government offices. The type of research used in this research is explanatory research, to analyze the influence between the variables Human Resource Development (X) with employee performance variable (Y), using a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation with a simple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence between the Human Resource Development variable on Employee Performance at the city government offices of South Sumatra, based on the results of the t test obtained tcount 2.377 > ttable 1.992, Sig test. 0.020 <probability of 0.05, and the results of the coefficient of determination (R Square) indicate that the total influence of the Human Resource Development variable on Employee Performance is 6.3%. This positive influence means that the increase in the Human Resource Development of an employee will affect the increase in the Employee's Performance.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of leadership approach, corporate culture, and work ethics both individually and collectively on employee effectiveness. The data utilized in this study consist of primary and secondary data gathered from both fieldwork and library sources. The sample size for this study comprises 70 employees. This research is of a quantitative nature. The statistical analysis employed is multiple linear regression using SPSS 25. The findings of this study demonstrate that leadership approach, corporate culture, and work ethics have a significant effect on performance, both individually and collectively.

Abstract

The ornamental fish market center in the village of Waru Pasar Parung, Bogor Regency, has tremendous potential in supporting the life and economy of its people.  While other businesses in this pandemic era are sluggish, the ornamental fish trading business has actually increased, both in face-to-face as well as online transactions. Therefore, mentoring and training to improve understanding of business strategies and promotion of ornamental fish marketing is very important. Mentoring aims to generate creative and innovative entrepreneurial values as well as the search for solutions in facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main goal is to increase sales profits. Problem solving methods are carried out through marketing mentoring and training through ornamental fish business promotion activities, done through questionnaires in Google form format.Mentoring Information  is intended to open up their business communication insights and online marketing promotion strategies in the ornamental fish business. During the Mentoring activities for ornamental fish traders in the Parung center, it is found that their business activities were still focused on price, product and place strategies concentrated only within the Parung ornamental fish center. Their promotion strategy is still wide open to grow due to their minimal insight and knowledge in packaging ornamental fish through air cargo.  For the traders, the online ornamental fish promotion strategy seems has not been fully implemented and the actual promotion has not been fully understood.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to analyze the IBI-K57 digital marketing communications in influencing the AISAS behavior among new students. The sub focus of this research is to find out and measure the level of student interest in AISAS (attention, interest, search, action and share) when making decisions to enter. This research utilise the campus digital marketing communications, namely: trustworthiness and expertise, combined with the AISAS method. Furthermore, the quantitative methodology of the positivistic paradigm of the sociopsychological communication tradition, which accompanied by simple linear regression analysis, is also applied. Sampling of the survey was carried out using a random technique. Each program studies is given 20 samples of questionnaire with a Likert scale. The total number of questioners is 120. The ANOVA value of 0.000 (<0.05) in this study shows there are changes in student attitudes and behavior in selecting the program study. Digital marketing communications has influenced students’ AISAS (behavioral attitudes), which is 36.4%. The remaining value (60.4%) is coming from other aspects outside the digital marketing communications. This research shows that there is a significant and positive influences of digital marketing communications applied by IBI-K57 on the attitudes and behavior (AISAS) of students when determining final decision to study in this institution. Digital marketing communications has contributed to a twofold attitude change among students in deciding.
