Abstract

Pancasila Education plays a crucial role in shaping the national character and civic responsibility of elementary school students. However, the use of conventional teaching methods and the lack of engaging instructional media have resulted in low student interest and achievement, particularly in Grade IV. This study aims to develop an interactive learning media using Lectora Inspire 18 combined with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model to improve students’ interest and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, following a simplified Borg & Gall model as modified by Sugiyono, and applied a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants included fourth-grade students, classroom teachers, as well as media and content experts. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and pretest-posttest assessments. Validation results indicated that the media was highly feasible, with expert ratings of 92.39% for content and 88.23% for media. The effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in students’ interest, from 46.11% to 91.85%, and in learning outcomes, from an average score of 53.52 to 88.52. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test confirmed a significant difference (p < 0.05), and the N-Gain scores indicated a high level of improvement in both learning interest (84.61%) and outcomes (74.91%). These results demonstrate that the integration of Lectora Inspire 18 with the PBL model is not only feasible but also effective in enhancing student engagement and academic performance in Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Pemahaman guru sekolah dasar di kota Tegal masih rendah, khususnya di kecamatan Margadana pada implementasi deep learning dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila merupakan keprihatinan semua pihak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi deep learning dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila, kendala dan solusinya. Metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian guru SD kecamatan Margadana kota Tegal. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dengan guru, observasi pada pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi deep learning dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila dituangkan melalui 1) strategi dan model pembelajaran, seperti model Problem Based Learning/PBL, Project Based Learning/PjBL, Pembelajaran Berbasis Refleksi; 2) pemanfaatan media dan teknologi, seperti Video interaktif tentang sejarah Pancasila; 3) penilaian autentik, seperti portofolio karya siswa, observasi perilaku siswa di sekolah, refleksi diri siswa tentang penerapan nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to develop, assess the feasibility, and evaluate the effectiveness of the Flipbook-Based Digital Comics to Improve Learning Outcomes and Attitudes of Grade IV Students. Methodology: The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg & Gall development model up to the eighth stage. The subjects of this study were 28 Grade IV students at Elementary School Tambangan 01 Semarang. Data analysis techniques included media feasibility assessments, teacher and student response analyses, normality testing, t-tests, and N-Gain evaluation. Main Findings: Based on the results obtained, flipbook-based digital comic media can be used in learning activities. Flipbook-based digital comic learning media is effectively used in learning grade IV material on attitudes and behavior that reflect the practice of Pancasila in social life. The results of the validation assessment of media experts and material experts obtained a percentage of 83.33% and 100% which means it has a very feasible classification level. The student pretest score was 55% and the posttest score was 86.13%. The percentage of student learning outcomes classically increased by 31.13%. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in the media Flipbook-Based Digital Comics to Improve Learning Outcomes and Attitudes. In addition, the learning model has been adjusted to students’ abilities and uses HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) based evaluation questions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in joyful learning and students’ learning outcomes between those taught using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model integrated with Quizwhizzer and those taught using conventional methods, as well as to examine the effectiveness of the model on joyful learning and learning outcomes in Pancasila Education. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design involving 37 fifth-grade students at SDN Wonosari 03, Semarang City, divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through interviews, a joyful learning questionnaire, and a learning outcomes test. The questionnaire consisted of 20 valid and reliable Likert-scale items (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.731), while the test consisted of 20 valid and reliable multiple-choice items (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.770). The results revealed a significant difference in joyful learning between the experimental and control classes based on the independent samples t-test (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05). The N-Gain score for joyful learning in the experimental class was 0.71 (high category), compared to 0.19 (low category) in the control class. For learning outcomes, the experimental class obtained an N-Gain of 0.58 (moderate category), while the control class obtained 0.29 (low category). These findings indicate that improvements in both joyful learning and learning outcomes were higher in the experimental class than in the control class. It can be concluded that the TGT model integrated with Quizwhizzer has a positive effect on improving students’ joyful learning and learning outcomes compared to conventional instruction.

Abstract

Abstract Low learning outcomes and student engagement result from ineffective learning models and media in actively involving students. This study analyzes the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model combined with Powtoon media in enhancing student participation and learning outcomes. A quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design was used, involving 4th-grade elementary students divided into an experimental class (IV A, 33 students) and a control class (IV B, 30 students) using a conventional model. Engagement data were collected through observation, and learning outcomes were assessed via evaluation tests. Data analysis used SPSS 26 with normality, homogeneity, t-test, N-Gain, and engagement score tests. The results showed a significant t-test value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference in engagement and learning outcomes between the two groups. The N-Gain percentage was 61% (moderately effective) in the experimental class and 43% (less effective) in the control class. The highest engagement category in the experimental class was visual activities (87.87%), while in the control class, it was mental activities. These findings demonstrate that the PBL model combined with Powtoon media effectively enhances student engagement and learning outcomes.Keywords: problem-based learning, Powtoon media, activeness, and learning outcomes.AbstrakRendahnya capaian pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa disebabkan oleh model dan media pembelajaran yang kurang efektif dalam melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan media Powtoon dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan capaian pembelajaran siswa. Metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen digunakan, melibatkan siswa SD kelas 4 yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen (IV A, 33 siswa) dan kelas kontrol (IV B, 30 siswa) dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Data keterlibatan dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan capaian pembelajaran dinilai melalui tes evaluasi. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 26 dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t, N-Gain, dan skor keterlibatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai uji-t signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan dalam keterlibatan dan capaian pembelajaran antara kedua kelompok. Persentase N-Gain sebesar 61% (cukup efektif) pada kelas eksperimen dan 43% (kurang efektif) pada kelas kontrol. Kategori keterlibatan tertinggi pada kelas eksperimen adalah aktivitas visual (87,87%), sedangkan pada kelas kontrol adalah aktivitas mental. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model PBL yang dikombinasikan dengan media Powtoon efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, media Powtoon, keaktifan, dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

AbstractLearning models that do not actively involve students in the learning process are one of the factors causing low learning outcomes. This research aims to test and analyze how effective the problem-based learning model, which utilizes Educaplay media, is on student learning outcomes. The method used by researchers is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The subjects of this study were 85 fifth-grade students of Jatisari state elementary School, Semarang City, Indonesia i.e. 28 students of class VB as the experimental class, and 28 students of class VC as the control class. Learning outcomes data were obtained from test techniques and non-test techniques. Data analysis used SPSS 25, consisting of normality, homogeneity, t-test, and N-Gain tests. The results indicated that the significant value in the independent t-test was 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. This data indicates a significant difference in the learning outcomes between the students in the experimental and control classes. N-Gain percent was 66% (moderately effective) in the experimental class and 39% (ineffective) in the control class. This study indicates that the application of the PBL model based on Educaplay media is effective in improving student learning outcomes.Keywords: educaplay, effectiveness, learning outcomes, PBL, pancasila education. AbstrakModel pembelajaran yang kurang melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis seberapa efektif model pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang memanfaatkan media Educaplay terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Jatisari sebanyak 85 orang, yaitu kelas VB sebanyak 28 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VC sebanyak 28 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Data hasil belajar diperoleh dari teknik tes dan teknik non tes. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25 yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji t, dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi pada uji t independen sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Data ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Persentase N-Gain adalah 66% (cukup efektif) di kelas eksperimen dan 39% (tidak efektif) di kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbasis media Educaplay efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: educaplay, keefektivan, hasil belajar, PBL, pendidikan pancasila.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by teachers who have not used digital learning media, resulting in low critical reasoning and learning outcomes. The purpose of the research is to develop a design and test the feasibility and effectiveness of augmented reality-based diorama media to improve critical reasoning dimensions and learning outcomes of Pancasila education. This study uses the research and development method, specifically the ADDIE model, to create augmented reality-based diorama media for Pancasila education aimed at fourth-grade students at Public Elementary School (SDN) Kalibanteng Kidul 01 in Semarang City, Central Java. The study found that the media is highly suitable for education, with validation scores of 93.33% from media experts and 98.21% from material experts. The assessment of critical reasoning scored 95.24%. The t-test results supported the hypothesis, showing significant effectiveness with an N-gain score of 0.7901, classifying it as high. Overall, the study concludes that the augmented reality-based diorama media are effective in improving critical reasoning and learning outcomes related to Pancasila principles for these students in class IV, SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01, Semarang City, Central Java.Keywords: augmented reality, critical reasoning dimension, diorama, learning           outcomes. AbstrakPenelitian ini dimotivasi oleh guru yang belum menggunakan media pembelajaran digital, sehingga mengakibatkan rendahnya penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan desain dan menguji kelayakan serta efektivitas media diorama berbasis augmented reality untuk meningkatkan dimensi penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar pendidikan Pancasila. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, khususnya model ADDIE, untuk menciptakan media diorama berbasis augmented reality untuk pendidikan Pancasila yang ditujukan untuk siswa kelas empat di SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01 di Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah. Studi ini menemukan bahwa media tersebut sangat cocok untuk pendidikan, dengan skor validasi 93,33% dari pakar media dan 98,21% dari pakar materi. Penilaian penalaran kritis mendapat skor 95,24%. Hasil uji-t mendukung hipotesis, menunjukkan efektivitas yang signifikan dengan skor N-gain 0,7901, yang mengklasifikasikannya sebagai tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media diorama berbasis augmented reality efektif dalam meningkatkan penalaran kritis dan hasil belajar terkait prinsip-prinsip Pancasila bagi siswa kelas IV SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 01, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah.Kata kunci: augmented reality, dimensi bernalar kritis, diorama, hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Pop Up Book Digital berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) serta menguji kelayakan dan keefektifannya dalam meningkatkan minat belajar dan joyful learning siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE. Hasil kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa media tergolong sangat layak berdasarkan validasi ahli media (94,54%) dan layak berdasarkan validasi ahli materi (69,09%). Hasil uji keefektifan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan (p < 0,05). Pada minat belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 77,78 menjadi 89,02 dan N-Gain sebesar 0,50 (kategori sedang, 0,30–0,70). Pada aspek joyful learning, skor rata-rata meningkat dari 58,41 menjadi 68,26 dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,59 (kategori sedang). Respons siswa dan guru menunjukkan bahwa media sangat layak untuk digunakan. Namun, penelitian ini terbatas pada uji coba di satu sekolah dasar dengan jumlah sampel terbatas. Dengan demikian, media Pop Up Book Digital berbasis PBL efektif dan layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar dan joyful learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas II SD. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui keefektifan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan Wordwall ditinjau dari pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas II SD Negeri Sendangmulyo 04 Semarang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimental two group pretest-posttest design, melibatkan kelas II A sebagai kelas eksperimen (PBL berbantuan Wordwall) dan kelas II B sebagai kelas kontrol (pembelajaran konvensional berbantuan media gambar), dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes, kuesioner, observasi, serta studi dokumen, diikuti analisis data dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, uji-t independen, dan N-Gain. Temuan penelitian terdapat perbedaan signifikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi antara kelas eksperimen (rata-rata 8,24) dan kontrol (6,96) dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, serta hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila kelas eksperimen (87,52) lebih tinggi daripada kontrol (81,60) dengan signifikansi 0,023 < 0,05; model PBL berbantuan Wordwall efektif terhadap pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (perbedaan rata-rata 1,28, p=0,000) dan cukup efektif terhadap hasil belajar (N-Gain eksperimen 65,52% > kontrol 59,77%). Disarankan guru menerapkan model PBL berbantuan Wordwall untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan hasil belajar siswa secara optimal.
