One of the primary determinants of students' academic achievement is parental involvement, which encompasses various forms such as emotional support, academic supervision, and participation in school activities. Previous studies have shown that (1) parental involvement has a significant positive correlation with students' academic performance, and (2) parent-school interaction contributes to an increase in student motivation. However, most of these studies have primarily focused on public schools and have not sufficiently addressed the context of religiously based Education, such as madrasahs. In reality, Education in madrasahs presents different challenges and characteristics, including the implementation of a dual curriculum (religious and general), unique social relationship patterns, and diverse forms of community participation. Therefore, this study aims to examine (1) the forms of parental involvement in supporting the improvement of Education quality in madrasahhs, and (2) the strategies employed by madrasahhs to encourage active parental involvement. This research uses a qualitative research design with a multi-case approach. The research subjects are state and private madrasah ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary schools) located in the city of Malang. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was followed by within-case and cross-case analysis stages using the constant comparative method. The research results indicate that: (1) the forms of parental involvement in supporting the improvement of Education quality in madrasahhs include: (a) donating livestock for Eid al-Adha celebrations, (b) family gatherings, (c) cooking class activities, (d) providing ideas or suggestions for program planning, (e) participation in Outing Class activities, (f) assisting children with studying at home, and (g) going beyond just homework help. (2) The strategies used to encourage parental involvement include: (a) creating a conducive school environment, (b) involving parents in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of school activities, (c) establishing intensive communication, (d) implementing principles of transparency and accountability in the execution of school programs, (e) designing school activities that benefit parents, and (f) fostering a positive attitude among all school members towards students and their parents.

This study aims to examine how parental parenting affects the development of practical life skills in early childhood. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with parents and educators of children aged 4-6 years. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification, accompanied by triangulation techniques to increase the validity of findings. The results showed that authoritative parenting styles were most effective in fostering children's independence, while permissive and authoritarian parenting tended to inhibit such development. Parents' challenges are generally related to time constraints, social pressures, and cultural norms that do not support children's exploration. Socio-cultural and environmental factors have been shown to mediate the effectiveness of parenting significantly. The implications of this study confirm the importance of building a consistent, responsive, and contextual parenting ecosystem in supporting children's life skills. These findings are expected to be an important contribution to the development of early childhood education policies that are more adaptive to social and cultural dynamics of society.

Academic Engagement is an important concern considering that nursing students will be directly involved with patients and provide nursing care to patients directly. Ideally, undergraduate nursing students in the emerging adulthood phase have a high level of academic engagement. However, reality shows that there are still many students with relatively low levels of academic engagement. This will later have an impact on low academic achievement, low student competence, increased disengagement and increased drop out rates among students. Previous research results show that academic engagement is related to academic resilience and academic self-efficacy. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of academic resilience and academic self-efficacy on the academic engagement of undergraduate nursing students. This type of research is correlational with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample was 312 undergraduate nursing students from STIKes Dian Husada Mojokerto with a sampling technique using stratified random sampling. Statistical analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research results show that academic resilience and academic self-efficacy influence the academic engagement of nursing students.

The implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in education aims to improve school quality as a whole. This article explores the role of the principal of Frateran Catholic High School in Surabaya in implementing TQM principles. The study used descriptive qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the principal plays a significant role in leading the quality vision, developing teacher competencies, managing resources, and conducting ongoing evaluations. These findings indicate that the implementation of TQM has a positive impact on educational quality, although there are challenges that must be overcome. This article also provides suggestions for strengthening TQM implementation.

Psychological capital is the condition of persons maintaining a positive attitude and effectively facing unpleasant conditions. This enables the completion of assignments and preparation for future success. Adaptation of psychological capital questionnaire for Indonesia was due to the absence of a measuring tool used within educational context. Therefore, this study aimed to adapt and validate Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ-12) in the Indonesian language. The subjects comprised Senior high school (SMA) students from the Malang Raya area, totaling 348 participants. Furthermore, data analysis was conducted using Rasch model. The results showed that the PCQ-12 met the principles of unidimensionality and local independence. The Questionnaire comprised 12 items, with an instrument, item, and person reliability of 0.89, 0.98, and 0.88, respectively. Items that were challenging to agree upon included numbers 2, 5, 7, and 11, as well as items 8, 9, and 12. The PCQ-12 appropriately categorized response options into 6 choices, ensuring its suitability for use in Indonesia.

The objective of the study is to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive restructuring with murattal al-Qur‘an relaxation technique in reducing Indonesian Muslim university students’ academic anxiety. The research was conducted on Indonesian Muslim university students at Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah Al Urwatul Wutsqo (STIT-UW) Jombang. A Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design was employed to assess the effectiveness of group counseling using cognitive restructuring and Murattal Al-Qur’an relaxation techniques in reducing students’ academic anxiety during thesis writing. The participants included 22 students with high levels of academic anxiety, divided into experimental and control groups. The instruments utilized were academic anxiety scales, worksheets, reflection journals, and a group counseling module. Statistical analysis using the Mann–Whitney U Test was applied to identify differences in scores between the two groups. The results indicated that group counseling incorporating Cognitive Restructuring and Murattal Al-Qur’an relaxation techniques effectively alleviated the level of students’ academic anxiety. Having a positive way of thinking and a better physical and psychological condition, the university students have succeeded in reducing their academic anxiety level, and will assume the thesis as a challenge instead of threat, and also will motivate them to work on it immediately and accomplish their study in time. In conclusion, this group counseling approach may be recommended for college counselors to assist STIT-UW Jombang students experiencing academic anxiety while working on their theses, and it can be used as a conceptual and empirical reference for the development of counseling in the future.

Penggunaan alat peraga memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan konsep bilangan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat proses penggunaan alat peraga Montessori serta melihat dampak yang didapatkan setalah menggunakan alat peraga Montessori. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan teknik analisis seperti pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, tampilan data, dan penarikan/verifikasi kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam studi ini melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hal ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar mendapatkan hasil yang valid dan tepercaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agar alat peraga efektif maka dilakukan melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi sehingga dapat ditunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat peraga Montessori. Alat peraga Montessori dapat digunakan sebagai solusi dalam mengembangkan kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia dini.

Information and communication in Indonesia are developing rapidly, as is education. One of the pillars of education is educators or teachers. improving the quality of teachers prepared for the younger generation in accordance with the work and social world of the 21st century. Learning based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a competency that teachers must master in the 21st century. The research was conducted at Blitar District Public Middle School. Research was conducted to determine the relationship between the heutagogical approach (X1), learning facilities (X2), teacher digital competence (TDC) (X3) and teacher creativity (Y) at Blitar Regency Public Middle Schools.The research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design. The population in the study used 10 State Middle Schools in Blitar Regency. The sampling technique used in the research is cluster sampling. So, the sample used was 226 teachers. data collection using questionnaires and analysis techniques using paths with SmartPLS.The results of the research show that in the bootstrapping hypothesis test (1) there is a relationship between the heutagogical approach and teacher creativity with a P value of 0.040 <0.05. (2) there is a relationship between learning facilities and teacher creativity with a P value of 0.000 <0.05. (3) there is a relationship between teacher digital competence and teacher creativity with a P value of 0.013<0.05. (4) there is a relationship between the heutagogical approach and teacher digital competence with a P value of 0.000 <0.05. (5) there is a relationship between learning facilities and teacher digital competence with a P value of 0.024 <0.05. (6) there is an indirect relationship between teacher digital competence which plays a role in the relationship between the heutagogical approach and teacher creativity, P Value 0.023<0.05 (7) there is no indirect relationship between teacher digital competence which plays a role in learning facilities and teacher creativity, P Value 0.169>0.05. The potential for vocational students to achieve success in entrepreneurship is considerable, especially since they have acquired specific skills that are in line with their area of specialization since the beginning of their vocational schooling. However, schools cannot be alone in promoting entrepreneurial careers among vocational students. This study aims to measure the role of three educational centers, in influencing self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention and career choice as an entrepreneur. This study was approached with a quantitative approach using structural equation modeling (SEM), the sample in the study was 354 vocational students. Data analysis through four stages, namely exploratory factor analysis, normality and outlier tests, confirmatory factor analysis and hypotheses testing (structural model). The results showed that the three education centers significantly influence selfefficacy and entrepreneurial intention which in turn can encourage students to choose a career as an entrepreneur. This research contributes to the understanding of how the three education centers can be an important catalyst in shaping a generation of resilient and innovative entrepreneurs.

Each schools have the autonomous right to manage and develop an independent curriculum according to its potential. However, the implementation of the independent learning curriculum is dependent on proper management at the school level, so there may be obstacles faced by schools in managing the independent learning curriculum. The purpose of this study is to investigate the concept and problems, as well as school strategies in managing an independent learning curriculum in laboratory schools. This research was studied qualitatively with a multi-site study design. Data collection was conducted through focus group discussions (FGDs) with semistructured interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data validity was checked using source triangulation, discussion among fellow researchers, and adequacy of reference materials. Data analysis techniques used constant comparative analysis. The results show that learning activities in the independent curriculum emphasize character education and the achievement of students' happiness in learning, and schools implement differentiated learning and simplify the values contained in P5 through projects and fun learning. This research contributes theoretically and practically, by complementing previous literature and can be a guide for school managers in order to ideally manage an independent curriculum.
