Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of literacy reading and writing students of class I in the Basic State School 2 Banjar Tegal, Buleleng district, buleleng-Bali. The research approach is qualitative research with the type of phenomenological research. This research data is a description of implementation the literature reading and written students of grade I in Basic state school 2 Banjer Tegal. The research instruments used are interview guidelines and documentation. The results of the study show that the student's literacy is in the developmental phase. As for the teacher's efforts in developing literacy, the following are: 1) When literacy hours are carried out especially for students with low literacy levels, the teacher invites the student to read the story first from the teacher, whether it's a folk story book, fairy tale or fiction. Then the teacher guides the students to recount the story that has been read by the class teacher in their own language. In the course of recounting the story content, the professor invites students to learn to read some of the pronouns from the contents of the story which makes it difficult for students to read, 2) the teacher uses the media of literature board made of board covered with plates as a place to paste pictures, letters and tribes. With the literacy board media, teachers easily introduce letters and pronouncements to the student whom the teacher first puts a picture on the literation board.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of evaluations separately and together on context, input, process, product and the constraints that occur in implementing the use of BOS funds at Harapan Christian Private High School Denpasar, during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a program evaluation research using the CIPP model. The population in this study were all residents of Harapan Christian Private High School Denpasar. Determination of the sample in this study using a purposive sampling technique, with a total sample of 39 people consisting of school principals, deputy principals, school treasurers, BOS treasurers, administration, teachers. Context, input, process and product data in this study were collected by questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1-5. The data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. To determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the use of BOS funds, raw scores were transformed into Z scores and then into T-Scores and then verified into the Glickman Quadrant. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) the implementation of the use of BOS funds in terms of the context component is classified as ineffective, 2) the implementation of the use of BOS funds in terms of the input component is classified as ineffective, 3) the implementation of the use of BOS funds in terms of the process component classified as effective, 4) implementing the use of BOS funds in terms of product components classified as ineffective, 5) evaluation results on the implementation of the use of BOS funds in terms of the context, input, process and product components, the results are less effective (--+-).

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the effectiveness of the Personnel Management Information System (Simpeg) for Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency and 2) find out what factors influence the effectiveness of the Personnel Management Information System (Simpeg) for Teachers Has the status of a Civil Servant (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency. This research is an evaluation research with CIPP design (Context, Input, Process, Product). The population used in this study were teachers with civil servant status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, totaling 537 teachers ranging from elementary, junior high and DPK teachers. While the sample used in this study used a random sampling technique, the minimum number of samples that must be used in this study was 226. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire and documentation method. The data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. To determine the effectiveness of the raw score data transformed into Z-scores then into T-Scores then verified into the Glickman Quadrant. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) The effectiveness of the Personnel Management System (SIMPEG) for Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, in terms of context, obtained effective results (+), 2) Effectiveness of the Personnel Management System (SIMPEG) For Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, in terms of input, effective results are obtained (+), 3) Effectiveness of the Personnel Management System (SIMPEG) for Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Regency Badung in terms of process obtained effective results (+), 4) Effectiveness of the Personnel Management System (SIMPEG) for Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PNS) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency in terms of product obtained effective results (+), and 5) Results joint evaluation of the Effectiveness of the Personnel Management System (SIMPEG) for Teachers with Civil Servant Status (PN S) in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, seen from the context, input, process and product aspects, effective results were obtained (+ + + +).

Abstract

This study aims to describe what efforts have been made to overcome obstacles related to the provision of elementary education facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of elementary school education at SD Inpress Sarudu IV, West Sulawesi. This research will be designed into qualitative research where research focuses on phenomena that occur in the field. This study uses a case study approach in observing the phenomena found. This study uses snowballing techniques in determining research subjects. Methods of data collection by observation, interviews, surveys and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed with Data Reduction, Data Display, Conclusion Drawing, the results of the study showed that the facilities and infrastructure of SD Inpress Sarudu IV West Sulawesi were well available. The facilities and infrastructure at SD Inpress Sarudu IV West Sulawesi are in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 24 of 2007 concerning Standards of Facilities and Infrastructure for Elementary Schools/Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (SD/MI), the condition of infrastructure is in good and adequate condition.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the strengthening of character education based on local wisdom for students of SMP Harapan Nusantara Denpasar. This research is ex-post facto research with CIPP design (Context, Input, Process, Product). The population used in this study were students of SMP Harapan Nusantara Denpasar class VII–IX with 346 students. While the sample used in this study was 186 students. The data collection method used in this study was a questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1-5. The data analysis method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method. To determine the effectiveness of the raw score data transformed into Z-scores then into T-Scores then verified into the Glickman Quadrant. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that: 1) The effectiveness of strengthening local wisdom-based character education for Harapan Nusantara Denpasar Middle School students in terms of the context obtained effective results (+), 2) The effectiveness of strengthening local wisdom-based character education for Harapan Nusantara Middle School students Denpasar in terms of input obtained effective results (+), 3) The effectiveness of strengthening local wisdom-based character education for Harapan Nusantara Denpasar Middle School students in terms of the process obtained less effective results (-), 4) The effectiveness of strengthening local wisdom-based character education for students Harapan Nusantara Middle School Denpasar in terms of product obtained effective results (+), 5) The results of a joint evaluation of strengthening local wisdom-based character education for Harapan Nusantara Denpasar Middle School students in terms of context, input, process and product obtained effective results (+ + - +).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ciri khas karakter tokoh utama Dira dalam novel Bidadari Pemeluk Subuh karya Nicky Rosadi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif dengan menguraikan data dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bukan dalam bentuk angka. Data penelitian berupa kutipan teks naratif yang mencerminkan ciri khas karakter tokoh utama Dira. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah teks-teks naratif novel Bidadari Pemeluk Subuh yang ditulis oleh Nicky Rosadi, cetakan pertama, tahun 2015, diterbitkan oleh penerbit PT Exel Media Komputindo. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik baca, simak, dan catat. Teknik analisis data digunakan teknik baca, simak, menandai, mengumpulkan serta mencatat, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil deskripsi mengungkapkan bahwa tokoh utama dalam novel Bidadari Pemeluk Subuh karya Nicky Rosadi adalah Dira. Karakter Dira dalam Novel Bidadari Pemeluk Subuh karya Nicky Rosadi meliputi (1) optimistis, tokoh Dira optimis menghadapi berbagai tuduhan yang dilontarkan oleh guru-guru senior di sekolahnya; (2) bertanggung jawab, tokoh Dira bertanggung jawab terhadap semua tugas yang dibebankan kepadanya; (3) penyayang, tokoh Dira memiliki sikap penuh kasih sayang kepada keluarga dan kekasihnya; (4) setia, tokoh Dira memiliki karakter setia kepada pasangannya dengan rela menunggu sang kekasih selama 12 tahun; (5) pantang menyerah, tokoh Dira selalu siap menanggung risiko atau apapun yang terjadi dalam hidupnya; (6) teguh pendirian, tokoh Dira meyakini bahwa Tuhan menuntunnya pada jalan yang benar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pebelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Games Tournamen (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V. Hasil belajar IPAS di kelas V masih belum optimal, hal ini dikarenakan pembelajaran yang diberikan guru kurang inovatif sehingga peserta didik cepat merasa bosa. Maka diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT merupakan model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, karena model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT merupakan model pembelajaran yang berbentuk games. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif statistik deskriptif, lebih tepatnya penelitian dengan Quasi Experimental Design dengan jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat pretest sebelum diberikan perlakuan dan posttest setelah diberikan perlakuan. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini hasil perlakuan dapat diketahui lebih akurat karena dapat membandingkan dengan keadaan sebelum diberi perlakuan (treatment) dan setelah diberikan perlakuan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik SD, dengan jumlah total 33 siswa. Pengambilan Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, sehingga sempel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Teknik analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis statistika inferensial (Uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Game Tournamen (TGT) terdapat hasil belajar IPAS SD

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil survei PISA menunjukkan betapa rendahnya tingkat literasi membaca siswa di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, Pemerintah mengembangkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam membaca. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah dan pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman membaca siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan teknik kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, dan observasi.  Pembuktian keabsahan data dengan memakai teknik ketekunan, triangulasi, dan penggunaan referensi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SD N 6 Banyuning terdapat peningkatan signifikan dari Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yang diterapkan dengan rincian peningkatan minat baca mencapai 42% dan peningkatan sebanyak 40% pada tingkat pemahaman siswa. Penerapan GLS secara berkesinambungan memberikan persentase akhir mencapai 72% anak dengan minat membaca dan 80% terhadap kemampuan memahami teks bacaan. Disimpulkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah secara signifikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami isi bacaan terutama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to explore the factors influencing children's literacy at SD Negeri 3 Kubutambahan. Through observation and qualitative data analysis, the research highlights the crucial role of collaboration between parents and teachers in enhancing literacy, as well as the diversity of literacy programs and activities at the school. Despite facing challenges such as resource limitations, the school has identified potential solutions, including strengthening cooperation with the local community and utilizing educational technology. A stimulating school environment also plays a significant role in increasing students' interest in learning. It was found that active parental involvement is key to ensuring the success of literacy improvement efforts. Furthermore, the research concludes that efforts to enhance children's literacy require active involvement from various parties, including parents, teachers, and the community. Close collaboration among all parties is essential in creating a supportive and competitive learning environment. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the challenges and potential solutions in improving children's literacy at SD Negeri 3 Kubutambahan. It lays the foundation for the development of more effective and sustainable strategies in the future.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe teachers' perceptions of principals' managerial skills in the elementary schools of southern Papua, Indonesia. We used a survey research approach to explore the elementary school teachers' perceptions of school principals' managerial skills. To attain the objective, one survey questionnaire was distributed to 1277 respondents, conveniently picked from amongst the elementary school teachers in Southern Papua, Indonesia. All respondents were asked to give their perceptions on a four-point Likert scale by providing a checking mark (√) on each given item that they value to be the most appropriate to describe the situation. The descriptive statistical analysis technique was performed by generating frequency and mean scores to describe teachers' perceptions of their school principals' managerial skills. The descriptive statistical analysis revealed that the elementary school principals' managerial skills were perceived as moderately low by the respondents as the general mean of the data is 2.6924E3 with a standard deviation of 174.34789 and a general mode of 2. Based on the result of descriptive statistical analysis, it is recommended that educational policymakers in Southern Papua to recruit school principal candidates based on the national standard required for a qualified school principal
