Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of price and promotion on consumer interest at CV. XYZ  in its embroidery business activities. The current problem faced is that CV. XYZ, as a provider of embroidery art services, is not well known among individual or corporate customers. Meanwhile, competitors in the same industry aggressively carry out promotions and advertisements through print media such as newspaper inserts, tabloids, and electronic media. This has greatly impacted the lack of consumer interest in using embroidery services, leading to a decline in CV. XYZ sales volume and its inability to compete with competitors.A quantitative approach was used in this study. Primary data was obtained from 35 respondents. The research shows that there is a significant partial influence of the price and promotion variables on consumer interest at CV. XYZ  in the embroidery business. This is demonstrated by the t-test results using SPSS software, where the t-value for Price is 31.988, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.03011, and the t-value for Promotion is 38.815.Simultaneously, it was found that Price and Promotion variables together influence Consumer Interest at CV. XYZ  in the embroidery business, with an F-value of 3252.406, which is greater than the F-table value of 2.5. The R value is 0.998 and the simultaneous determination coefficient (R square) is 0.995, meaning that 99.5% of the variation in consumer interest is influenced by Price and Promotion, while the remaining 0.5% is influenced by other variables not studied.Furthermore, this test shows that Price is the most dominant variable influencing consumer interest, as evidenced by the standardized regression coefficient (β) of 0.515, which is higher than the coefficient values for other variables.

Abstract

Companies that implement quality management systems are oriented toward organization, customers, and the market by combining fact-finding and problem-solving approaches. Companies should not merely focus on selling their products, but must also understand consumer needs and wants. Knowledge of consumer behavior is essential for effective marketing practices. Customer satisfaction in marketing should begin with an analysis of consumer behavior based on the evolving situation. This, at the very least, should encourage company managers to determine what marketing activities should be proposed, planned, and executed. Therefore, companies must have marketing tools, commonly referred to as the marketing mix, which includes product, price, place, and promotion. This research uses primary data obtained directly from respondents through questionnaires, and secondary data sourced from the company being studied. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, with statistical testing using F-test and t-test.The research findings using SPSS software through multiple linear regression analysis show that the F-test result indicates a significant influence between independent variables and the dependent variable, with an F-count value of 22.573 > F-table value of 2.50. For the t-test, it is found that: The product variable (X1) significantly influences consumer purchase decisions (Y) with a t-count of 3.728 > t-table of 1.9944. The price variable (X2) significantly influences consumer purchase decisions (Y) with a t-count of 4.072 > t-table of 1.9944. The place variable (X3) significantly influences consumer purchase decisions (Y) with a t-count of 3.080 > t-table of 1.9944. The promotion variable (X4) significantly influences consumer purchase decisions (Y) with a t-count of 3.230 > t-table of 1.9944.

Abstract

The era of globalization has profoundly influenced various aspects of human life, breaking down national boundaries and reshaping international relations through advancements in information and communication technology. In Indonesia, this has significantly impacted industries such as trade, manufacturing, and services. Organizations face intense competition, making employee commitment essential for achieving company goals. Harmonious interpersonal relationships among employees foster trust and togetherness, which are crucial for sustaining high organizational commitment. Without mutual trust and group cohesion, employee commitment diminishes, reducing overall work performance. Clear and jointly established organizational goals provide guidance on responsibilities, workloads, and performance targets while serving as motivational challenges to enhance employee productivity. This study employs multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between motivation, organizational commitment, and employee work performance. The simultaneous F test indicates a significant influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, with a calculated F value of 28.9701 exceeding the F table value of 3.19. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.5418, showing that 54.18% of the variance in employee performance is explained by motivation (X1) and organizational commitment (X2), while the multiple correlation coefficient (R) of 0.7361 indicates a strong overall relationship. Partially, organizational commitment exerts the most dominant effect on work performance, with a calculated t value of 5.4485 exceeding the t table value of 2.0096. Factors contributing to this influence include alignment of job characteristics with employee expectations, opportunities for skill development, provision of alternative job options, and organizational support for knowledge enhancement, all of which collectively improve employee work performance.

Abstract

The role of accounting in supporting the smooth execution of management tasks is very prominent, particularly in the planning and control functions. Accounting is able to provide financial information that is presented in the form of financial statements. Financial statements are considered fairly presented when they are prepared in accordance with the provisions of PSAK; the characteristics of such financial statements must be understandable, relevant, reliable, and comparable. In the preparation of financial statements, there are rules for recording transactions, which are known as the double-entry bookkeeping system. This system is commonly and widely used in the preparation of financial statements. However, financial statements in restaurant businesses in the city of Surabaya are prepared using a single-entry bookkeeping system. Theoretically, when financial statements are prepared using a single-entry system and the existing records do not show a complete summary of transactions, many specific difficulties will be encountered in preparing accurate financial statements. In addition, there is no direct way to determine whether the balances are correct, thus posing the risk of bias, inaccuracy, and misinterpretation, resulting in financial statements that do not comply with financial accounting standards. This condition motivated the author to conduct research on restaurant businesses in the city of Surabaya. In this study, the researcher restated the financial statements of restaurant businesses in Surabaya for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025 using the double-entry system, and presented them in accordance with the provisions of PSAK No. 1 concerning the Presentation of Financial Statements.

Abstract

Purpose—This study analyzes how digital capabilities, governance, and accounting translate into sustainability-oriented outcomes via an integrated performance measurement system.Design/methodology/approach—This model was tested using a unique design to provide a quantitative explanation in terms of structural equation modelling (SEM) of direct effects, mediating effects, moderating effects, and resilience measures.Findings—The findings show that digital governance does not automatically result in high performance. The same is true of agile principles and controls. The same is true of modern accounting assurance. And the same is true of sustainability control systems. Instead, these outcomes are largely realized through performance measurement capabilities that resolve the paradox of balancing efficiency/accountability and sustainability agendas. This ability is believed to be crucial in turning digital resources and management into a lasting competitive edge and organizational strength. Regulatory and environmental pressures show a marginal level of influence in context, suggesting that a robust internal measurement architecture remains stable across contexts.Originality/value—This study introduces performance measurement capabilities that resolve the paradox as a unique organizational capability, expanding existing knowledge about digital transformation and sustainability accounting beyond static views of control systems. This paper expands capability-based theories of digital accountability and sustainability performance by synthesizing digital leadership, AI-blockchain assurance, agile governance, and sustainability controls within an integrated explanatory framework.Implications—Integrating digital and sustainability initiatives into learning-based performance measurement systems is strategically vital. They suggest ways in which digital accountability mechanisms can be used in institutional environments that are under pressure to transform into long-term sustainable value generators.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work discipline on increasing employee work productivity within a corporate setting using an empirical quantitative approach. The research was conducted at PT. Wira Nusa Abadi Surabaya, employing a census method involving 55 employees as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires measuring work discipline and employee productivity using Likert-scale indicators. Statistical analysis was performed using simple linear regression to estimate the functional relationship between discipline and productivity, supported by classical assumption testing to ensure model validity. The regression results indicate a positive coefficient of 0.540, suggesting that improvements in work discipline are associated with increased productivity levels. Hypothesis testing using a one-tailed t-test at a 0.05 significance level produced a calculated t-value of 3.507, exceeding the critical value of 2.006, thereby confirming statistical significance. These findings demonstrate that work discipline functions as a measurable determinant of employee productivity and provides empirical support for managerial policies emphasizing structured behavioral compliance to enhance organizational performance.
