Abstract

Exports are significant for a country's economic development, especially in regions that carry out export activities because not all countries and regions have the same natural and human resources. Therefore this study aims to predict the level export of oil, gas, and others in the province of East Java and understand the forecast for the number of exports in the coming year. This is important to provide information to the East Java provincial government so that it can make policies so that the export value can be increased, at least so that the export value remains stable. The prediction algorithm used is the Backpropagation Neural Network algorithm using the Gradient Descent training function with Adaptive Learning rate. The research data is data on the Export of oil, gas, and others in East Java Province from 2008 to 2019. The prediction process analysis uses 3 network architecture models, namely: 5-10-1, 5-15-1, and 5-20-1. Based on the analysis results, the 5-10-1 model is the best compared to the other two models with an accuracy rate of more than 90% and MSE testing 0.0012454304, which means that this model is good for predicting the export of oil, gas, and others.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world, especially Indonesia, has greatly disturbed the stability of the inflation rate. Inflation that continues to increase will disrupt the economy in this country. Therefore this study aims to analyze the ability of ANN backpropagation which will be applied to predict the development of the inflation in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic so that later it can be useful information for the government and society. The research data used is inflation data according to expenditure groups obtained from CBS (Central Statistics Agency) in January-May 2020. Prediction is done using the backpropagation neural network algorithm. This paper uses four network architectures, namely: 3-5-1, 3-10-1, 3-25-1 and 3-50-1. Based on the training and testing of the four models, the 3-10-1 model is the best architectural model that is suitable for predicting the development of the inflation in Indonesia with an accuracy of 75%. Also, this model performs an iteration of 25303 and an MSE test of 0.0362820326. Based on the prediction results in June-August 2020 and real data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, ANN using the backpropagation method is highly recommended to be used to predict the development of Indonesian Inflation according to the Expenditure Group.

Abstract

This goal can be achieved by using suitable media to complete customer satisfaction so that skills in utilizing social media are the main thing that public relations must do. This study aims to determine the ability to use social media by entrepreneurs such as university graduates when they start working. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is Indonesian entrepreneurs. A survey of 396 entrepreneurs was chosen as the method. The findings show that public relations and customer service are the most sought-after social media skills among university graduates, ahead of knowledge of social media content creation, strategy development, and analytics.
