Abstract

This research aims to describe and compare the self-adjustment of boarding school students with the school environment in terms of gender (comparative descriptive study of students at MAN Insan Cendekia Lubuk Alung, West Sumatra). This type of research is descriptive-comparative with a questionnaire instrument. The population of all students of class X, sampling with purposive random sampling technique in order to obtain a sample of 82 students. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, and to test the differences used t test. The results showed that in general the self-adjustment of boarding school students with the school environment of MAN Insan Cendekia Lubuk Alung, West Sumatra was classified high and there was a significance difference from the self-adjustment of male and female students. Therefore, school counselors can provide various types of counseling and guidance services to students of MAN Insan Cendekia Lubuk Alung, West Sumatra so that they are able to overcome difficulties in their self-adjustment by fostering self-confidence and training students how to adapt to the new environment and atmosphere in accordance with the rules

Abstract

Water is one of the main sources that are very important for the needs of living beings. Water that has too high salinity can cause harm if used for certain activities, for example, it is harmful to health when used as drinking water, causing crop failure for agriculture, corrosion of equipment and buildings made of metal elements. The process of treating brackish water into fresh water is known as desalination. Brackish water treatment can also be done by filtration method. Based on the above background to avoid risks that occur in the use of brackish water in daily life that does not meet the standards of clean water that is safe to use in general and always ensures that the water is still suitable for use, this study designed and built a solenoid valve control system as an automatic valve used for the desalination of ready-to-drink brackish water that is safe and suitable for use in daily life and also has access to monitoring uses the internet of things (IoT) in its operation, so that it can be optimal in monitoring the pH of water and tds in the water as well as the water capacity in the water tank storage in real time by using Arduino uno as a data processor and the esp8266 wifi module for a connection to the internet that will send data to the blynk application. In the design of this device, several sensors were used, such as: pH sensor, tds sensor, and ultrasonic sensor so that it has three outputs, namely water tank storage capacity, water tds value, and water pH placed in the water tank storage to determine the value of the final result in the process of processing brackish water into ready-to-drink water in this study. The results of the work test of this brackish water desalination control system succeeded in removing the color and odor in the water and were able to change the pH level in brackish water from 8.7 pH to 6.43 pH, but the filtered water still tasted salty, so this research still needs to be continued to achieve the standard of drinking water content

Abstract

Banyak sekolah menghadapi tantangan dalam menegakkan tata tertib secara konsisten, termasuk rendahnya ketepatan waktu, ketidakteraturan perilaku, dan belum optimalnya sikap tanggung jawab akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam penerapan SCP dalam manajemen pendidikan, menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap disiplin belajar siswa, serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan hambatan dalam implementasinya. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi kasus. Objek penelitian adalah penerapan Sistem Credit Point di SMAS Katolik Budi Murni 2 Medan, sedangkan subjek penelitian mencakup kepala sekolah, wakil kepala kesiswaan, guru mata pelajaran, wali kelas, guru BK, serta 12 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data diperiksa melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SCP diterapkan melalui alur perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi yang sistematis. SCP terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku siswa, ditunjukkan oleh berkurangnya keterlambatan, meningkatnya ketertiban selama pembelajaran, kepatuhan terhadap seragam dan etika sekolah, serta meningkatnya tanggung jawab dalam penyelesaian tugas akademik. Keberhasilan implementasi sangat ditopang oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, komitmen guru, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Namun demikian, hambatan masih ditemukan pada aspek pemahaman siswa mengenai tujuan SCP, pencatatan manual yang kurang efisien, serta belum optimalnya komunikasi antara sekolah dan orang tua. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Sistem Credit Point merupakan instrumen manajemen kesiswaan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa dan membentuk budaya sekolah yang tertib, selama diimplementasikan secara konsisten, kolaboratif, dan didukung dokumentasi yang baik.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan suatu bangsa secara fundamental ditentukan oleh kualitas gurunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan manajemen pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru melalui komunitas belajar (learning community) dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran di SMA Santo Thomas 2 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, ketua MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran), dan sepuluh guru perwakilan dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif selama pertemuan komunitas belajar, dan analisis dokumen (seperti menit pertemuan, RPP, dan jurnal refleksi guru). Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis tematik dari Miles dan Huberman. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen komunitas belajar yang sukses ditandai dengan: (1) perencanaan yang partisipatif dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru sebagai titik awal; (2) pengorganisasian yang fleksibel namun terstruktur, dengan kepemimpinan yang bersifat kolaboratif; (3) pelaksanaan kegiatan yang berfokus pada praktik reflektif seperti perencanaan pembelajaran bersama, observasi among teman sejawat (peer observation), dan diskusi kasus; dan (4) evaluasi yang bersifat berkelanjutan untuk mengukur dampak pada kompetensi guru dan hasil belajar siswa. Dampak implementasi komunitas belajar terlihat dari peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru, yang tercermin dari perancangan RPP yang lebih inovatif dan berpusat pada siswa, penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang bervariasi, dan kemampuan penilaian yang lebih autentik. Peningkatan ini selanjutnya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya keterlibatan aktif siswa, interaksi yang lebih dinamis di kelas, dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif dan afektif.

Abstract

Pergeseran paradigma global dari Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuju era Society 5.0 menuntut transformasi fundamental dalam tata kelola pendidikan. Jika era sebelumnya berfokus pada otomatisasi mesin, Society 5.0 menekankan pada integrasi teknologi yang berpusat pada manusia (human-centered). Namun, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan kompetensi manajerial, di mana banyak pemimpin sekolah memahami kepemimpinan digital secara sempit sebatas kecakapan teknis (tech-savvy) dan pengadaan infrastruktur, tanpa visi humanis. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendekonstruksi pemahaman lama tersebut dan menawarkan kerangka kerja kompetensi baru yang adaptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi konseptual kritis dengan menganalisis berbagai dokumen kebijakan dan artikel jurnal bereputasi. Hasil pembahasan merumuskan model kompetensi yang mencakup tiga pilar utama: (1) Data-Driven Empathy (pemanfaatan analitik data untuk dukungan psikologis siswa), (2) Ethical Stewardship (pengawalan etika dan privasi data), dan (3) Agile Collaboration (kolaborasi tangkas dalam ekosistem hybrid). Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa manajer pendidikan masa depan harus bertransformasi dari administrator birokrasi menjadi digital humanist yang mampu menggunakan teknologi untuk memanusiakan ekosistem pendidikan. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini merekomendasikan revisi standar kompetensi kepala sekolah dengan memasukkan indikator kematangan budaya digital dan penerapan strategi inklusif Low-Tech, High-Impact.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah menjadi pondasi utama dalam membentuk kemajuan sekolah dasar, di mana pemimpin ini tidak hanya mengelola rutinitas administratif tetapi juga membangun lingkungan belajar yang mendukung guru untuk berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan model kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang integratif untuk meningkatkan semangat kerja dan kinerja guru sekolah dasar. Berangkat dari urgensi peran kepala sekolah sebagai penggerak ekosistem pembelajaran, studi ini menyoroti keterbatasan pendekatan kepemimpinan tunggal dalam menghadapi kompleksitas konteks pendidikan dasar. Penelitian dilakukan melalui kajian pustaka konseptual dengan menelaah 42 sumber ilmiah terpilih periode 2015–2025 yang relevan dengan kepemimpinan sekolah, motivasi guru, dan dinamika pembelajaran di SD. Analisis tematik menghasilkan sintesis tiga gaya kepemimpinan—transformasional, transaksional, dan situasional—yang kemudian dirumuskan dalam model ISL-TMP (Integrated School Leadership for Teacher Morale and Performance). Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berperan sebagai penggerak motivasi, kepemimpinan transaksional memastikan struktur dan akuntabilitas, sementara kepemimpinan situasional menyediakan fleksibilitas adaptif sesuai tingkat kesiapan guru. Integrasi ketiganya menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang inspiratif, terstruktur, dan responsif, yang secara simultan meningkatkan semangat kerja dan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model ISL-TMP menawarkan kerangka holistik yang relevan diterapkan dalam kepemimpinan sekolah dasar di Indonesia.

Abstract

Environmental education plays a critical role in shaping awareness, sustainable behavior, and civic responsibility. Despite the global growth of environmental education research, comparative analyses between countries with different socio-political and academic contexts remain limited. This study aims to examine the research landscape and thematic evolution of environmental education in Indonesia and the USA. A systematic bibliometric and thematic analysis was conducted on WoS publications from 1975–2025. The study integrates PRISMA-based systematic screening with bibliometric mapping using VOSviewer, enabling transparent article selection while revealing structural relationships among keywords, institutions, and research themes. A total of 812 articles were included after screening and eligibility assessment. The results reveal clear contrasts in research focus and collaboration structures. In the USA, dominant themes include pro-environmental behavior, science education, and urban green spaces, supported by dense institutional collaboration networks led by the University of Florida, Stanford, and Cornell. In contrast, Indonesian environmental education research emphasizes health, sanitation, education, and slum communities, with relatively limited inter-institutional collaboration. Keyword co-occurrence analysis indicates that while global clusters center on “environmental education” and “students,” Indonesian studies integrate context-specific topics such as “COVID-19,” “slums,” and “coastal communities.” This study contributes to environmental education knowledge mapping by providing a systematic cross-national bibliometric comparison that clarifies thematic priorities, collaboration patterns, and emerging research directions. The findings also support SDG-aligned research and policy development, particularly SDG 4.7 (education for sustainable development) and SDG 13 (climate action), by identifying opportunities to strengthen international collaboration and diversify thematic research agendas in environmental education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of factoring implementation on working capital at PT. Duo Nadenggan Lestari. Factoring is utilized as an alternative financing method to accelerate cash inflows by converting accounts receivable into immediate funds, thereby supporting the company’s liquidity. This research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary data derived from the company’s financial statements over a specific period. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression to determine the influence of factoring implementation as the independent variable on working capital as the dependent variable. The results of the analysis indicate that factoring implementation has a positive and significant effect on working capital. An increase in factoring utilization contributes to improved cash flow, enhanced liquidity, and more efficient working capital management. These findings suggest that factoring can be an effective financial strategy for companies experiencing cash flow constraints and high receivables levels. The study provides practical implications for management in selecting appropriate financing alternatives to strengthen short-term financial performance

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has significantly improved efficiency in financial technology (fintech) services in Indonesia and globally. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of university students in Indonesia regarding the use of financial technology in an era of rapid AI development. In addition, the study examines students’ perspectives on fintech usage in relation to the security of users’ assets. The research employs a questionnaire-based method conducted across Indonesian universities, involving 217 university student respondents. The results indicate that psychological factors influence the intention to use virtual agents differently across basic and advanced digital financial services. Perceived security has a stronger effect on the adoption of virtual agents for routine transactions, whereas perceived convenience plays a key role in encouraging their use for more complex financial services. These findings highlight the importance of tailoring the design of AI-based virtual agents to the level of complexity of the financial services offered.
