Abstract

Bullying in schools usually takes the form of physical violence, such as hitting or pushing, or hurtful words. In addition, there is also psychological bullying that makes the victim feel depressed or afraid. Verbal bullying often takes the form of hurtful words, such as calling someone with insulting names or mocking someone's physical appearance. While psychological bullying focuses more on actions that make the victim feel lonely or isolated, such as ignoring or spreading gossip. Group guidance aims to prevent the development of problems or difficulties in students, Modeling techniques are not just imitating or reducing what the model (other people) does, but modeling involves adding and/or reducing observed behavior, generalizing various observations while involving cognitive processes. This study uses a systematic literature review method to analyze literature relevant to the topic of group guidance and modeling techniques in preventing bullying. The results of the analysis show a consensus among previous studies that modeling techniques can be an effective tool for changing the behavior of students who tend to bully.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of a targeted intervention designed to enhance the professional and pedagogical skills of prospective physics teachers, addressing a key gap in teacher education. The research involved an experimental group that received the intervention and a control group that did not. The research subjects in the experimental and control groups were 120 each. To rigorously assess the impact, Whitney and Wilcoxon’s statistical tests were employed to compare pretest and posttest outcomes. Additionally, Wright map analysis was used to visualizes kill development. The results revealed a significant improvement in the professional and pedagogical skills of the experimental group compared to the control group, as indicated by Mann-Whitney test (U=1274.500, p<0.05 and U=421.500, p<0.05). The Wright map analysis further demonstrated that the experimental group experienced more consistent and substantial gains in pedagogical skills. This study contributes to the field by demonstrating the effectiveness of interventions in improving the skills of prospective physics teachers, offering educational policy recommendations, and filling important gaps in the literature. Moreover, it emphasizes the critical role of ongoing evaluation in the continuous development of teacher training programs. By addressing these areas, this research provides valuable insights that can inform the design and implementation of more effective teacher training strategies.

Abstract

The high suicide rate in Auckland, New Zealand, poses a significant challenge for Muslim migrant families facing cultural pressures. This community Service program aims to strengthen their mental health through a structured series of workshops and psychoeducation sessions. The initial workshop focused on the basic understanding of mental health, risk factors for psychological disorders, and the familys role in resilience. Subsequent psychoeducation sessions presented practical strategies for stress management, emotion regulation, and coping mechanisms aligned with the cultural and religious values of the participants. Evaluation results demonstrated a significant increase in participants’ understanding of mental health and awareness of the risks of psychological disorders. Furthermore, participants showed improved ability to apply stress management strategies. This program contributes to enhancing the psychological well-being of Muslim migrant families while strengthening support systems within the community. The success of this activity is expected to serve as a foundation for broader and more sustainable similar interventions.

Abstract

The transformation of religious moderation values in education depends on conventional approaches and requires effective utilization of digital media, especially in shaping the character of Generation Z teacher candidates. This study aims to reflect on the understanding, experiences, and strategies of Generation Z teacher candidates in internalizing and spreading the values of religious moderation through digital practices amid the disruption era. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews based on open-ended instruments covering conceptual, pedagogical, and digital aspects. The results showed that Generation Z teacher candidates are highly aware of the importance of moderate attitudes in religion, especially in the context of the teaching profession as an agent of tolerance and peace. They actively utilize digital platforms such as social media and short videos to convey inclusive religious messages. However, they also face challenges such as polarization of opinions, negative responses, and a lack of curriculum and training that integrates digital competencies with moderation values. This research recommends strengthening university curricula by integrating religious moderation-based character education with developing contextualized and applicable digital competencies. Technology, in this case, plays a strategic role in shaping the character of future teachers who are inclusive, adaptive, and moderate.
