Abstract

The development of this field in a varied and ever-changing regional context can be better understood by looking at the trajectory of social work in Africa from 1963 to 2024. The purpose of this study was to find out the trend of publications on social work in Africa from 1963 to 2024. Looking at the development of publications each year, the author of the most publications, the highest affiliations, and the most publications in journals on social work in Africa. Research methods use bibliometric analysis through scopus databases. There were 1305 publication documents found, and the data were downloaded in csv form without any form of limitation. Later, CSV data was included in the Vosviewers and Rstudio software to display images of visualization analysis results. The results show that research on social work in Africa spanning 1963–2024 revealed that this field has a variety of properties that reflect social and humanitarian responsibilities. By focusing on HIV/AIDS prevention, health, and management, social workers can help improve people's socioeconomic conditions and the overall quality of life in Africa.

Abstract

Nomophobia merupakan salah satu gangguan psikologis yang sering tidak disadari oleh kalangan remaja. Gangguan psikologis tersebut seperti perasaan takut kehilangan koneksi dengan smartphone, mengalami gangguan kecemasan atau rasa tidak nyaman saat berada jauh dari smartphone. Munculnya kecemasan dan ketakutan yang dialami oleh siswa dikarenakan tidak bisa berkomunikasi dengan orang lain melalui smartphone, kehilangan jaringan dan konektivitas, serta tidak dapat mengakses informasi dan sosial media. Kondisi kecenderungan nomophobia seperti ini sangat diperlukan strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi masalah psikologis yang ditimbulkannya dengan segera. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menguji efektivitas ifdil  perceptual light technique (IPLT) dalam mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa. IPLT merupakan sebuah alternatif pendekatan brief untuk mereduksi trauma, fobia dan masalah psikologis. Intervensi menggunakan IPLT melalui  modifikasi sensorik dan persepsi individu melalui spektrum cahaya untuk mengatasi nomophobia. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan desain subjek tunggal terhadap tiga subjek yang mengalami kecenderungan nomophobia. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain A-B single subject penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, teknik scaling dan menggunakan instrumen No Mobile Phone Phobia (NMP-Q). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki tingkat kecenderungan nomophobia tinggi sebelum intervensi. Namun setelah diberikan intervensi melalui IPLT tingkat kecenderungan nomophobia menurun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa IPLT efektif untuk mereduksi kecenderungan nomophobia pada siswa.

Abstract

This analysis describes the 21st Century Critical and Creative Thinking, which describes the Hegelian Dialectical Analysis method by unraveling social science learning in Junior High School. By describing the Hegelian Dialectical Analysis method in theory, the findings got in the theory can improve students’ critical thinking skills in 21st century social studies learning in junior high schools, especially improving students’ critical and creative thinking in social studies learning in junior high schools.Keyword: Creative thinking, dialectical analysis, social studies learning

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh intensitas pengguaan media sosial terhadap tingkat insecure mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Serta mendeskripsikan perpedaan tingkat intensitas pengguaan media sosial terhadap tingkat insecure mahasiswa berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan media sosial yang digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitafif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa kusioner yang telah teruji valid dan realiabel untuk mengukur intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap tingkat insecure mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara frekuensi penggunaan media sosial dengan tingkat perasaan insecure mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau dengan persentase berdasarkan analisis regresi diperoleh angka R square adalah 0,201. R square dapat disebut koefisien determinasi, yang berarti 20,9% intensitas penggunaan media sosial berpengaruh terhadap tingkat insecure mahasiswa di Universitas Islam Negeri Sulat Syarif Kasim Riau. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap tingkat insecure pada mahasiswa sebesar 20,9 % dan sisanya 79,1 % dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat adanya intensitas penggunaan media sosial terhadap tingkat insecure. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan dapat berkontribusi pada perasaan tidak aman dan rendah diri di kalangan mahasiswa. Sehingga diperlukannya tindakan seperti kegiatan seminar dan pelatihan literasi digital bagi mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang penggunaan media sosial yang sehat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecanduan Reels Instagram terhadap Prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Skala kecanduan Reels Instagram dan skala prokrastinasi akademik digunakan sebagai instrument pengumpulan data. Penelitian ini jenis instrument yang digunakan adalah angket. Metode penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Proportional Random Sampling sehingga total responden adalah 103 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi dengan bantuan SPSS 27 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak dengan taraf signifikansi <,001 yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kecanduan Reels Instagram terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. Pengaruh tersebut tercatat sebesar 45.9%, yang berarti ketergantungan pada Reels Instagram dapat mempengaruhi prokrastinasi akademik mereka dalam jumlah tersebut. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kecanduan Reels Instagram terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the concept of mental health from a hadith perspective, which is an important part of Islamic teachings. Using literature research methods, this study analyses various hadiths that are relevant to understanding the principles of mental health taught by the Prophet Muhammad. We thoroughly studied a total of 12 articles and 3 books related to this topic. The research results show that mental health in the hadith includes principles such as feelings of security, independence, responsibility, and physical and spiritual balance. These hadiths illuminate the significance of preserving mental health in the pursuit of life, emphasizing the need for appreciation and care. This study contributes to the development of a spiritual understanding of mental health, as well as offering guidance for Muslims in maintaining mental well-being based on hadith teachings.

Abstract

The use of Virtual Reality (VR) technology in education is growing rapidly, including in the context of Islamic learning. This study aims to examine the acceptance of the VR-based Hadith learning model among students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program of the Riau Islamic University .  This study involved a population of 128 students who were active in the 2023/2024 academic year and took Hadith courses. The census method was used for sampling, so that the entire population became the research sample. Data were gathered using a questionnaire designed to assess the study's variables, employing a 5-point Likert scale. The analysis was performed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the Partial a Squares (PLS) approach. This method was chosen due to its capability to manage intricate models with numerous latent variables and indicators, and its flexibility regarding data distribution assumptions. The results showed that perceived usefulness has a significant positive effect on the intention to use VR for Hadith learning. Meanwhile, Perceived Ease of Use does not have a significant effect on intention to use. These findings indicate the importance of considering the perceived benefits of VR technology in increasing its adoption in the Islamic religious education environment. This research also contributes to the educational literature by emphasizing the importance of technology acceptance and adoption in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This meta-analytical study aimed to examine the effectiveness of reality therapy in enhancing students learning motivation and discipline. Seven experimental studies were selected as the sample of the study using purposive sampling technique. These selected studies reported the effect of reality therapy on learning motivation and discipline. The analysis was done using pre-post contrast meta-analysis. The calculation result showed a weighted mean effect score of 2.818. The mean effect size score is the parameter that represents effective contribution. This positive score indicates that the post-test score is higher than the pre-test score. Accordingly, it could be concluded that reality therapy is effective for enhancing learning motivation and discipline.

Abstract

From 2023 to 2025, 1,034 publications were examined for academic knowledge diffusion and educational innovation.  This bibliometric analysis uses VOSViewer for data recovery, pre-processing, network extraction, normalization, and visualization.  Due to its importance in educational innovation, many research clusters focus on "information dissemination".  The educational innovation ecosystem comprises higher education social media, knowledge management, and sustainability.  This analysis also finds clusters linking educational innovation to knowledge management, psychology, health workers, and sustainability.  In this study, digital technology, architecture, and organizational intelligence determine how digital connectivity increases educational creativity.  Technology like short films helps students understand difficult concepts.  Educational innovation research may focus on machine learning, social media, and information distribution, according to keywords and trends.  This study suggests digital tools, data-driven initiatives, and inclusive knowledge exchange for educational innovation.  These findings could inspire new learning and knowledge distribution initiatives by academics, legislators, and educators.

Abstract

Someone client center counseling-centered because the counselor and client are in a psychological contact relationship. The purpose of the study was to describe the implementation of client center counseling with online media. The research is qualitative with the following stages: determining questions, collecting informant data, getting data, and reporting. The informants comprised one teacher of counseling and guidance and five students of private MTs Nurul Islam. The results of the research based on Nvivo coding that the client center counseling has a core theme that supports the reception in counseling, client center and direction. The results of coding Nvivo online counseling develop a supporting theme, namely counseling constraints. Based on this, implementing client center counseling with online media can run even though the major obstacle is internet signal and the media used is WhatsApp with the videocall feature. The application of online counseling at MTs Swasta Nurul Islam fosters independence, emotional management, and making the right decisions for the students’ future.
