Abstract

The business world has become increasingly competitive lately. Business people must optimize their organizational performance to compete in the global market amidst an increasingly tight competitive environment. MSMEs or micro, small and medium enterprises are very important for economic growth and development in both industrial and developing countries, such as Indonesia. MSMEs have a function in Indonesia apart from contributing to economic growth and development. UMKM Banderk Sergai is a product business in the form of packaged instant bandrek herbal drinks that has been running since 2013. This UMKM has consumers who make repeat purchases from various cities starting from Aceh, Tebing Tinggi, Sei Rampah, Perbaungan, Lubuk Pakam, Tanjung Morawa, Medan, Deli Tua, and Binjai and there are still fluctuations in Banderk Sergai MSMEs as seen through income from 2018-2022. This research uses quantitative methods using a sample of 102 consumers at Bandrek Sergei MSMEs. The results of this finding are that repurchase decisions are strongly influenced by price and service quality, but not by trust. Then, although service quality has a big impact on customer happiness, price and trust have little effect on it. Repurchase decisions are also significantly influenced by customer satisfaction. Finally, although service quality and trust do not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction through repeat purchase decisions, price has a significant positive effect on satisfaction. So the suggestion from this research is that Bandreak Sergai MSMEs should further improve service and trust to consumers regarding the products offered so that they continue to increase sales and consumers from Bandrek Sergai MSMEs continue to make repeat purchases in the long term.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the determinants that influence women's motivation to become UMKM actors in improving the family economy in Medan City. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques collected through questionnaires from research samples selected based on probability sampling techniques and determining 50 female respondents who are active as UMKM actors. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical methods and multiple linear regression. The research results prove that economic factors, social factors and psychological factors explain 74.0% of UMKM motivation while the remaining 26.0% is explained by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

Waste management is closely associated with industry. Poor waste management practices can negatively affect the environment, contaminate nearby areas, and pose health risks to people. In light of these issues, this study focuses on 1) How to process the use of solid waste and liquid waste so that it can be reused or consumed again.2 ) What is Maslahah Mursale's analysis of the value of Hifdzu an-Nafs, Hifdzu al-Mal, Hifdzu al-Bi'ah in handling trash from the tofu business. This study employs a qualitative methodology as a case study. This study's main sources of data include observations, conversations with tofu factory managers, local communities and consumers who buy tofu waste and descriptive analysis. Reviewed with secondary data in the form of general conditions of the research location as well as journals, previous research and matters related to research. Techniques for qualitative descriptive data analysis are used in this study. The findings of this study are 1) in the management of liquid waste from the tofu industry into Nata de soya which has economic value. 2) in the management of liquid waste in the tofu industry in Kel. Sari Rejo, the researchers linked several efforts that were or were not in accordance with maqasid syari'ah. There are three points, namely hifdzuh Hifdzu al-mal (care for assets), hifdzu al bi'ah (care for the environment), and an-nafs (care for the soul).

Abstract

AbstractThis interest in investing is part of the desire of the heart which aims to get something useful in the future. Because basically investment is a commitment to a certain amount of funds or buying something with a view to the future. Dana Goals is one of the features in the digital wallet application, namely Dana. Where this destination fund is one of the features that has a function, namely as a storage place for purchasing goods or it can also be a place to make investments for those who need very large capital. Based on the research results, it can be seen that convenience, usefulness, attitudes, behavior and systems have a significant influence on investment interest and the variables of convenience, usefulness, attitudes, behavior and systems in the use of Goals Funds together have a significant influence on Investment Interest.Keywords: Convenience, Expediency, Attitude, Behavior, System.AbstrakMinat dalam berinvestasi ini merupakan salah satu bagian dari keinginan dari hati yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sesuatu yang bermanfaat di masa depan. Dana Goals salah satu fitur yang ada dalam aplikasi Dana. Dimana dana tujuan ini merupakan salah satu fitur yang mempunyai fungsi yaitu sebagai tempat penyimpanan untuk membeli suatu barang atau bisa juga sebagai tempat melakukan investasi bagi yang membutuhkan modal yang sangat besar. Sesuai dengan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kemudahan, kemanfaatan, sikap, perilaku, dan sistem mempunyai pengaruh signifikan dalam minat investasi dan variabel kemudahan, kemanfaatan, sikap, perilaku dan sistem dalam Penggunaan Dana Goals secara bersama mempunyai pengaruh signifikan dalam Minat Investasi.Kata Kunci: Kemudahan, Kemanfaatan, Sikap, Perilaku, Sistem.

Abstract

The research aims to examine the effect of Investment Knowledge, Minimum Capital, and Motivation on Student Interest in Investing in the Islamic Capital Market. This research method is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach, this research approach produces a population of 429 with a sample of 71. The data collection method used in this research is a questionnaire. The result of calculating the t-value is 2.890. We can conclude that (X1) has a significant impact on (Y) because this value is greater than ttable (1.465) and the sig value is less than 0.05. So, it is concluded that (X1) has a significant effect on (Y). At the sig value or t value Variable (X2) has a t value = 2.532. This value is greater than the t table (1.465) with a sig value (0.00001 <0.05). (X2) has an effect on (Y). The variable (X3) has a calculated t value = 2,935. This value is greater than the t table (1.465) with a sig value (0.005 <0.05). (Y) is influenced by the variable (X3). Based on the calculation results above, it can be seen that F count (25.308) which is greater than F table (3.08), and Sig F (0.000b) which is less than 5% (0.050) indicates that together the variable (X) has a simultaneous effect on (Y).

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a marketing strategy for the “Kacang Asin Pak Tani” product. This product is a home industry engaged in selling dry food and snacks. Sales of Pak Tani’s Salted Peanuts have continued to increase from 2019 to 2022, but interview results show that this product has not implemented a good marketing strategy, including offline and online promotions, market segmentation, and other marketing mixes. In developing an effective marketing strategy, the 4P concept (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) is an important basis. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, with the observation approach and interview as a data collection technique, research data consists of secondary and primary data. Primary data was generated from interviews with home industry owners of Salted Peanut Products, employees, and consumers. Secondary data includes graphic data of the sales cycle for four years, EFAS and IFAS data, as well as SWOT analysis obtained from Kacang Asin Pak Tani company. The researchers also use literature reviews as a theoretical foundation that can support solving the problem being studied. Research results, based on the SWOT analysis can be seen that the strategy used is in quadrant 1, this position is a very profitable position, by implementing a strategy that supports aggressive growth policies (Grow Oriented Strategy). So, this is a strategy that can be carried out by the Kacang Asin Pak Tani Brand Product so that the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the business can be identified. As a suggestion, in terms of promotion, the “Kacang Asin Pak Tani” brand needs to develop a more effective promotion strategy to increase consumer awareness of the products and brands offered.

Abstract

Rich Mango Thai is an MSME engaged in the culinary business by selling processed mango juice and other fruit. The location of this business is very close to other beverage businesses, so the owner must have the right marketing strategy in order to win the market. Since its establishment in May 2022, Rich Mango Thai has been selling products that are very popular with the public. However, based on the sales data obtained, sales from May 2022 to April 2023 tend to decline. This research aims to understand the marketing strategy used by Rich Mango Thai in developing a business. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive methodology. Primary and secondary data are the types and sources used, and interviews and observations are used as data collection methodologies. A descriptive analysis of the data is used, and the idea of ​​the 4P Marketing Mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) is mentioned. The researchers also conduct a SWOT analysis in assessing alternative strategies that can be implemented. SWOT analysis is also useful for finding out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats possessed by Rich Mango Thai. The researchers also describe an analysis of Sharia marketing based on 3 paradigms namely Sharia Marketing Strategy to win Mind Share, Sharia Marketing Tactic to win Market Share, and Sharia Marketing Value to win Heart Share. In the final analysis, Rich Mango Thai is in quadrant I and has the main alternative strategy, namely the SO strategy, besides that Rich Mango Thai fulfills the character and paradigm of Sharia marketing.

Abstract

Sea fish is one of the commodities that have high popularity in Indonesia. Efforts to improve the quality of the fisheries sector will have a major impact on consumers as well as the expansion of the marketing system being implemented. The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing margins of fresh sea fish caught by fishermen at the Berkah Sea Warehouse, Rantau Panjang Village, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang. This research uses a descriptive method with a mixed-method approach. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data, by observing and interviewing. The results of this study indicate that the fish marketing channel in the Berkah Sea Warehouse begins with fishermen as producers, fish warehouse toke, wholesalers, retailers, and final consumers. The pattern of marketing channels in this marine fish sales system has three categories. The marketing margin analysis shows that the highest total margin is in marketing channel I for tuna Rp. 20,000 and for mackerel fish Rp. 21,000. In the second marketing channel, the total margin for tuna is Rp. 17,000 and Mackerel fish Rp. 20,000. Total marketing margin with less value on marketing channel III by showing the amount of Rp. 10,000 for tuna and mackerel fish Rp. 13,000. The value of the fisherman’s share or the share received by the producer from the three types of marketing patterns is more profitable in the third marketing channel with a percentage value of fisherman's share above 50% and classified as efficient marketing.

Abstract

The study aims to measure, investigate, and examine how Islamic Universities integrating Islamic transdisciplinary and risk management based on ISO 31000:2018 to their good university governance. This study was conducted in 2022, based on a content analysis approach to measure the maturity level of risk management. Researchers develop maturity index level suitable in higher education organization based on ISO 31000:2018 criteria that develop by IRMAPA. The analysis covers both quantitative and qualitative data that had been hand collected from number of Indonesian Islamic Universities. This study found that average maturity level of risk management in some of Indonesian Islamic Higher Education is risk aware where it is the 2nd level (the highest level is 5th). Researchers found that determining risk context was the most difficult stage to define. Findings can attract the attention, from a regulatory perspective.

Abstract

The creative economy is an economic movement managed by local communities where the main processed products of the creative economy come from natural resources, for example in the culinary world which provides its own challenges for Padang Lawas Regency, namely how to promote and develop smoked fish culinary amidst the rise of modern culinary, in efforts to create new jobs and achieve community welfare. The aim of this research is to analyze and determine the role of the creative economy in Huristak District, Barumun Tengah District, Aek Nabara Barumun District, especially in the local smoked fish culinary sector, Padang Lawas Regency, North Sumatra. This type of research is qualitative research which is analyzed using descriptive methods. The data collection technique used in the research was collected from data from the 2021 Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Padang Lawas Regency and collected from observation data, in-depth interviews, literature studies and documentation, then a data analysis technique developed by Miles, Huberman and Saldana was carried out using four flow of activities in data analysis, namely, data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results found that the creative economic role of smoked fish in Padang Lawas Regency can improve the economic welfare of the community and efforts to create jobs.
