Abstract

This review aim to evaluate effectiveness of mobile health (mHealth) technology on self management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) patients based on evidence from various studies. The method employed in this review included a systematic search of articles from PubMed, Scopus, and Embased databases using the keywords “mobile health and diabetic”, mobile health and diabetes”, dan “mobile health and diabetes mellitus”. The analysis was conducted on 1,479 articles, from which 12 met the inclusion criteria. The findings of this review reveal that the utilization of mHealth whether in the form of application or text messages, has the potential to enhance self-management, particularly in diet regulation, physical activity, blood glucoseoo monitoring, medication adherence, and doctoro visits among T2DM patients. mHealth technolgy has proven effective in improving self-management T2DM patients. Abstract

This literature review examines the Influence of Marketing 5.0 and Creating Share Value on Wound Care Quality and Purchase Intention among Wound Care Professionals. As contemporary marketing practices evolve, the emergence of Marketing 5.0 signifies a shift towards holistic and customer-centric strategies, emphasising the significance of meaningful interactions and value co-creation. Simultaneously, Creating Share Value underscores the role of businesses in addressing societal challenges alongside profit generation. This literature review reveals that Marketing 5.0 strategies promise to enhance the quality of wound care services through personalised communication, enhanced patient engagement, and technology-enabled solutions. Creating Share Value initiatives establishes a sense of purpose and collaboration among wound care professionals, ultimately contributing to improved patient care and organisational success. The literature review of these marketing strategies contributes to understanding contemporary marketing concepts in the healthcare context, particularly wound care.

Abstract

Waktu tunggu pelayanan pasien di poliklinik merupakan salah satu penilaian mutu dalam suatu rumah sakit. Waktu tunggu yang lama mengindikasikan adanya suatu miss managemen waktu. Managemen waktu yang baik bisa dimulai dengan pengaturan penjadwalan pasien secara online, dimana pasien dapat mengetahui kapan harus datang ke rumah sakit sesuai dengan jadwal yang diberikan oleh pihak rumah sakit. Waktu tunggu yang lama akan membuat keramaian dan beresiko meningkatkan angka komplain terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit. Tujuan : memberikan gambaran dan gagasan dari manfaat penerapan sistem penjadwalan online terhadap angka waktu tunggu pelayanan pasien di Poliklinik Instalasi Paviliun, untuk menghindari keramaian dan menurunkan angka komplain pasien terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit melalui tinjauan literatur. Pembahasan : hasil telah dan review 11 jurnal pilihan, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan penjadwalan online telah banyak diterapkan dalam rangka mengurangi waktu tunggu pelayanan pasien poliklinik. Rekomendasi : Pengaplikasian atau penerapan penjadwalan online dapat dilakukan oleh peneliti selanjutnya untuk melihat pengujian keefektifitasan penjadwalan online pada pasien poliklinik.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of blended learning based on a literature review. The research method used in this study is using a systematic review method. Articles are taken from the EBSCOHost, ScienceDirect, and PubMed databases. Articles are collected using the following keywords: nursing competencies, nurse competencies, and blended learning. Eight articles have been selected and critically reviewed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical review guidelines. The results of this study indicate that blended learning can be an effective approach to improving various outcomes in nursing education and training, such as clinical skill competencies self-efficacy, attitude, knowledge, decision-making, critical thinking, motivation, satisfaction with learning, self-confidence of training participants. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze problems in the implementation of freezing documentation using the role and function of freezing management approach, as well as problem-solving options. The research method uses case studies through interviews, observations, problem analysis with fishbone diagrams and then compiling innovations. The results of the study showed that documentation of accommodation in the inpatient room of Hospital X before implementation was 45% and after implementation it became 55%, there was an increase especially in the preparation of the closing diagnosis and protection action plan. In conclusion, the documentation process increased by 10% through the Flipbook SAK (Nursing Care Standards) innovation, this shows that the implementation carried out is quite effective in improving the quality of protection documentation. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of career development on turnover intention in nurses. The research method used systematic review through electronic databases (ProQuest, Sage Journal, Science Direct). The results of 10 articles showed that positive career development, such as training and promotion opportunities, was associated with decreased turnover intention in nurses. Job satisfaction emerged as an important mediator in this relationship. In conclusion, effective career development can be an important strategy to reduce turnover intention in nurses. Hospitals need to invest in comprehensive and sustainable career development programs to improve job satisfaction and nurse retention. Further research is needed to explore the effectiveness of career development in reducing turnover intention in nurses, both through qualitative and longitudinal studies. Abstract

ABSTRAKPerkembangan informasi dan teknologi dalam layanan kesehatan menjadi salah satu inovasi yang signifikan. Perkembangan ini membuat layanan kesehatan dapat diakses dengan mudah dan cepat. Electronic health record (EHR) menjadi bagian integral dari perkembangan sistem informasi dan teknologi di lingkup kesehatan. Ketersediaan EHR memungkinan penyedia dan pengguna layanan kesehatan mengakses informasi kapan pun dan di mana pun berada. Pelayanan yang responsif akan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien terhadap layanan. Tujuan penelitian:Memberikan gambaran dan kesimpulan dari hasil tinjauan literatur tentang dampak penggunaan EHR terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien. Metode:Telaah literatur ini mengambil sepuluh artikel terpilih dari basis data daring EBSCOhost, PubMed, dan Google Scholar dari tahun 2018–2023dengan kata kunci EHR dan kepuasaan pasien. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode naratif-deskriptif. Hasil: Terdapat dampak positif dan hubungan signifikan antara penggunaan EHR terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien. Penggunaan EHR meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, mempersingkat waktu tungggu pasien, meningkatkan akurasi dokumentasi pasien, meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan keamanan data pasien, serta mempermudah komunikasi antar-profesi kesehatan. Kesimpulan: Integrasi EHR dalam layanan kesehatan memberikan manfaat yang besar bagi pasien dan penyedia layanan kesehatan. Penelitian lebih lanjut diperlukan untuk melakukan penelitian tentang penggunaan EHR di negara berkembang dan di setting rawat inap. Kata Kunci: dokumentasi, electronic health record, kepuasan pasien, layanan kesehatan ABSTRACT The development of information and technology in healthcare services has become one of the significant innovations. This development enables healthcare services to be accessed easily and quickly. electronic health record (EHR) has become an integral part of the development of information and technology systems in the healthcare scope. The availability of EHR enables healthcare providers and users to access information anytime and anywhere. Responsive services will enhance patient satisfaction with the services. Objective: To provide an overview and conclusion from a literature review on the impact of EHR usage on patient satisfaction levels. Method: This literature review yielded 10 (ten) articles from online databases EBSCO host, PubMed, and Google Scholar from 2018 to 2023 using the keywords electronic health record and patient satisfaction. The data were analyzed using a narrative-descriptive method. Result: From the analysis of ten articles, it was found that there is a positive impact and significant relationship between the use of EHR and patient satisfaction levels. The use of EHR enhances service efficiency, reduces patient waiting time, improves patient documentation accuracy, enhances the quality of service and patient data security, as well as facilitates communication among healthcare professionals. Conclusion: The integration of EHR in healthcare services provides significant benefits for both patients and healthcare providers. Further research is needed to study the use of EHR in developing countries and in inpatient settings. Keywords: documentation, electronic health record, patient satisfaction, healthcare service

Abstract

Abstract Backgound: Nurse competence can be influenced by the empowerment of head nurse. Empowerment is how head nurse conditions the climate and work culture in the nursing ward that can improve nurse competences. The existing literature is still very varied, therefore a systematic review is needed to determine the specific empowerment carried out by the head nurse based on published scientific evidence.Purpose: The study was aimed to know how the empowerment of head nurse affected nursing staff competences in the hospitalMethods: Conducted a systematic review of the literature from 2013 to 2023. Data were collected from 6 databases (EMBASE, EBSCOHost, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and PubMed), using the keywords “empowerment”, “empowerment of head nurses”, and “empowerment AND head nurses”. The literature study was limited to English-language, as well as literature that had abstracts and full text. The systematic review was organized using PRISMA. The quality of the articles was assessed using JBI critical appraisal tools.Results: There were 8 articles included in the review category. The results showed that there are four actions of the head nurse to empower the staff, including: 1) providing training to increase skills and knowledge, 2) providing autonomy, 3) being open, communicative and caring, and 4) being a shelter.Conclusion: The head nurse played an important role in managing the ward by setting policies to coordinate nursing staff tasks, and solve problems with the staff. Empowerment can improve the organization climate and culture to sharpen the quality of nursing care.Keywords: empowerment, head nurse, nursing staff, systematic review Abstrak Latar belakang: Kompetensi perawat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor, salah satunya dalah empowerment dari kepala ruangan. Empowerment yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah bagaimana kepala ruangan mengkondsikan iklim dan budaya kerja di ruangan yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi perawat. Literatur yang ada tentang topik ini masih sangat bervasiasi, oleh karenanya dibutuhkan sistematik review untuk mengetahui empowerment yang spesifik dilakukan kepala ruangan berdasarkan bukti-bukti ilmiah yang telah dipublikasikan.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana empowerment kepala ruangan dalam mempengaruhi kompetensi perawat pelaksana di rumah sakit.Metode: Melakukan tinjauan literatur secara sistematis dari tahun 2013 sampai dengan 2023. Data dikumpulkan dari 6 database (EMBASE, EBSCOHost, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, dan PubMed), dengan menggunakan kata kunci empowerment, empowerment of head nurse, dan empowerment AND head nurse. Studi literatur terbatas hanya pada literatur yang berbahasa Inggris, serta literatur yang memiliki abstrak dan full text. Sistematik review disusun dengan menggunakan PRISMA. Kualitas artikel yang dihasilkan dinilai dengan menggunakan JBI critical appraisal tools.Hasil: Terdapat 8 artikel yang masuk kedalam kategori review. Hasil review menunjukkan terdapat empat tindakan kepala ruangan untuk memberdayakan staf perawat, antara lain: 1) memberikan pelatihan untuk menambah skill dan pengetahuan, 2) memberikan otonomi, 3) bersikap terbuka, komunikatif dan caring, dan 4) menjadi tempat bernaung bagi perawat dalam bekerja.Kesimpulan: Kepala ruangan berperan penting dalam mengelola unit ruangan dengan menetapkan kebijakan untuk mengkordinasikan tugas dari staf perawat, dan bersama-sama dengan staf perawat memecahkan masalah. Empowerment yang dilakukan kepala ruangan terhadap staf perawat dapat meningkatkan iklim dan budaya organisasi untuk mempertajam kualitas asuhan pelayanan keperawatan.Kata Kunci: empowerment, kepala ruangan, perawat, systematic review

Abstract

Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has occurred all over the world and has had a significant impact on patient care. The headroom is the first-line nursing manager, who has an essential role in providing care. The headroom has vital role in directing staff to work according to standards during a pandemic. Purpose: To analyze nurses' perceptions of the management function of the headroom during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This study uses a descriptive correlation research design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 250 participants. Collecting data using questionnaires on respondents' demographic data and nurse perception of the headroom management function using the Managerial Competencies of Head Nurse Tool instrument Result: The analysis results showed that most respondents were female nurses, had a vocational nursing education, were married, had attended patient safety training, and worked in inpatient rooms. The results of the analysis management function of the headroom in the hospitals are 89.59 (69.59%), staffing and actuating function have the highest presentation of 69.50% from the three hospitals. At the same time, the lowest in the planning function of 43.31%. Conclusion: Based on the results, the function with the lowest implementation is the planning function. Meanwhile, staffing and actuating have the best performance. Non-optimal management function can be because of a lack of management support.
