Using the SERVQUAL services model to analyze quality of services by descriptive statistics method. This study was conducted using 200 respondents selected by purposive. Tangible, empathy, responsiveness, reliability, and assurance (Service Quality Dimensions) were the variables considered for this study. The research found that reliability and responsiveness (not empathy, tangibility, and assurance) impact consumer satisfaction which increases the frequency of purchasing. It explains, a negative relationship between satisfaction and loyalty intensions. Furthermore, both loyalty and satisfaction effects weaken with increased prior consumption experiences, related on organizational issues. Thus, when the customers invest in satisfaction, managers should consider their individual marginal impacts on loyalty and distinguish between consumers with reference to their prior consumption experiences. The managerial implication in marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty, consumer satisfaction is directly related to provide fast, precise, and friendly services in accordance with established service standards. Moreover, the research study concludes that image of a service provider, loyalty of consumers, consumer expectations, perceived value, perceived quality and the way complains are handled are very important factors that determine consumer loyalty levels.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has generally affected the cosmetic industry's marketing and sales. Drastic changes happened, and the sales now rely more on online sales. This study aimed to analyze the purchase behavior of facial serum cosmetic products before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sampling technique applied purposive sampling. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were obtained from 200 respondents in the Jabodetabek area from April to May 2021, but only 163 were included in the analysis. The results show that the conditions before and during the pandemic are significant differences. Before the pandemic, co-creation, communal activation, conversation, halal awareness, and reference groups influenced the purchase behavior. On the other hand, though, reference groups did not affect the purchasing behavior during the pandemic. Therefore, business people in the cosmetics field can focus on co-creation and conversation.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the technical and resource-use efficiency of East Java. The secondary data were used from the Paddy Cultivation Household Survey ST2013 handled by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The data was cross-sectional and were derived from ST2013 in 2014. The stochastic frontier analysis analyzed the factors that drive rice output and quantified rice production's technical efficiency. In contrast, the marginal value product-marginal factor cost (MVP-MFC) approach was used to quantify resource-use efficiency in rice production. The SFA indicated that these factors positively affect rice output except for seed, fertilizer, labor, and land utilization. However, other factors were considered apart from the land size, such as exaggerated land and labor advantage in production and bad seed and fertilizer utilization. Technical efficiency varies considerably among rice farmers, ranging from 1 percent to 100 percent, with an average of 89 percent. Their technical inefficiency was influenced by their group membership, irrigation, credit, education level, and farmer age - external farm insect pests. The government and the private sector are involved in the programs through farmer groups. Abstract

Crop-livestock integration is a future agricultural system that can increase the added value of farming while and being environmentally friendly. However, it is not widely used by oil palm farmers. Oil palm integration with cattle is expected to meet the demand for oil palm organic fertilizer and utilize palm fronds as animal feed. The objective of this research is to analyse the factors that influence farmers’ decisions to implementing oil palm-cattle integration. A survey was conducted with 300 respondent who were chosen with purposive sampling with two categories: integrated farming and non-integrated farming. The logistic model was used to analyze adoption factors. The result shows that factors influencing the decision of farmers to adopt oil palm-cattle integration are the time of involvement of household head in farming, extension services, income from oil palm, and the household’s dependent ratio. Meanwhile, the factors that do not encourage farmers to adopt oil palm-cattle integration are formal education and involvement in farmer groups. The results observed several socio-economic factors that can lead to the increase of the crop-livestock integration such as farmers still requiring good extension and training. Keywords: adoption, logistic model, oil palm-cattle integration, smallholders
