Abstract

Abstract This article investigates the impact of religious activities, namely the implementation of the Dhuha prayer and the reading of Tahlil, on increasing student achievement at Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School. This religious program involves holding Dhuha prayers in congregation and reading Tahlil. Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School was chosen as the research object because at this school, this activity has become a routine in the daily education program. This research uses qualitative analysis techniques in data collection and analysis, with an emphasis on qualitative descriptive methods. The aims of this research are (1) to find the values ​​contained in the implementation of religious activities, namely Dhuha prayers and Tahlil reading, at Al Muhammad Cepu Middle School, (2) to find out that these religious activities can influence student achievement, (3) to knowing that this activity can increase students' emotional intelligence scores in the religious activities of Duha prayer and Tahlil reading, (4) to find out supporting activities other than the religious activities of Duha prayer and Tahlil reading. Keywords: Islam; Dhuha Prayer, Tahlil, Value Enhancement     Abstrak Artikel ini menginvestigasi dampak dari aktivitas keagamaan, yaitu pelaksanaan shalat Dhuha dan pembacaan Tahlil, terhadap peningkatan prestasi siswa di SMP Al Muhammad Cepu. Program keagamaan ini melibatkan pelaksanaan shalat Dhuha berjamaah dan membaca Tahlil. Pemilihan SMP Al Muhammad Cepu sebagai objek penelitian dilakukan karena di sekolah tersebut, aktivitas ini telah menjadi rutinitas dalam program pendidikan harian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif dalam pengumpulan dan analisis data, dengan penekanan pada metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menemukan nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas keagamaan, yaitu shalat Dhuha dan pembacaan Tahlil, di SMP Al Muhammad Cepu, (2) untuk mengetahui bahwa aktivitas keagamaan ini dapat memengaruhi prestasi siswa, (3) untuk mengetahui bahwa aktivitas ini dapat meningkatkan nilai kecerdasan emosional siswa dalam aktivitas keagamaan shalat Duha dan pembacaan Tahlil, (4) untuk mengetahui aktivitas pendukung selain aktivitas keagamaan shalat Duha dan pembacaan Tahlil. Abstract

The Medina Charter, also known as the Medina Constitution, has an important meaning in Islamic history that lays the foundation of contemporary Islamic da'wah management, this article discusses how the Medina Charter is still relevant in the development of Islam, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data obtained from library research. The results of this research are as follows: The Medina Charter is an important value in creating a cohesive society and understanding each other. Medina Charter education helps a framework that enhances cooperation and mutual understanding among individuals. Medina Charter education can encourage positive change and conflict around the world. It leads to da'wah practices that must build between different people. In the management of da'wah, the Charter of Medina causes justice, tolerance, and remorse in the game, which forms a da'wah practice that forms highlights positive and negative reinforcement, and forms inspiration and guidance for making communities.

Abstract

The golden period of science in the Islamic world was marked by the support of the Abbasid rulers, scholars with the establishment of Baitul Hikmah, This article discusses how the influence of the Abbasid golden period on learning and education, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data obtained from library research. The results of this research are as follows: The influence of the Abbasid dynasty in Islamic education provides insight into the educational systems and practices that developed at that time. It is important to understand the foundations of modern education in the Islamic world and appreciate its rich intellectual heritage. In addition, the implementation of a structured curriculum in science teaching in schools contributes to the understanding of science by students. Learning the basic concepts of science helps students understand how science works, while schools play an important role in facilitating learning through interactive methods that are relevant to the needs of learners.

Abstract

The development of science, especially in Islamic education, began in the second century Hijriyah, with various reforms such as the establishment of several mosques, the emergence of Islamic reformers and others, etc. This article discusses how the influence of the golden age of Bani Abbasiyah on learning and education, this research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data obtained from library research. The results of this research are as follows: The history of Islamic education in the second century AH shows that this period was a golden age for intellectual development and education in the Islamic world. Mosques and madrasas became the main centers of learning, where leading scholars played an important role in shaping educational traditions and encouraging progress in various fields of science. Their contributions not only enriched the Islamic intellectual tradition but also had a far-reaching impact on the exchange of knowledge at the global level, leaving a lasting legacy in the history of education. In addition, the development of curriculum and teaching methods during this period, which emphasized the study of the Qur'an, Hadith, as well as the integration of other sciences such as science, mathematics, and philosophy, created a holistic approach to education. This approach not only strengthened individual faith and morality but also encouraged a sense of community and social responsibility among students. The use of oral traditions in education also helps shape discipline and dedication to studies, thus preparing individuals to play a role in a harmonious and diverse society.

Abstract

This paper investigates the loyalty model of customers towards a certification governing body for export product shipment certification. The present study investigates the impact of service quality, consumer satisfaction, customer trust, and customer loyalty on the established model. The model will be used to determine the specific areas that need enhancement to improve consumer loyalty. There were 104 participants took part in the study by means of convenience sampling and telephone questionnaire surveys. This study results that customer satisfaction is greatly influenced by the five components of Servqual service quality: tangibility, empathy, dependability, responsiveness, and assurance. Moreover, it was shown that the five categories of service quality had a substantial impact on customer trust. The level of product satisfaction and trust directly influences the loyalty of customers. In addition to examining direct effects, the study also detected indirect effects resulting from mediating variables. The findings indicate that consumer trust is influenced by reliability through customer satisfaction, and customer trust is influenced by assurance through customer satisfaction. Consumer satisfaction, in turn, influences consumer loyalty by means of customer trust. Managerial implication of this study encompasses the instruction of personnel in export product certification services, including areas such as communication, regulations, document control, and management of personal protective equipment. The organization is advised to establish a systematic service evaluation process and then execute a follow-up strategy to guarantee that the evaluation findings are acted upon.

Abstract

This study revisits and analyzes the causes leading to firm exit in divestiture spin-offs over the past five years, aiming to consolidate findings from recent literature and uncover evolving trends. Using a systematic literature review of Scopus publications from 2019 to 2024 and employing the PRISMA methodology, this study analyzed a final sample of 97 journal articles to examine the key factors influencing divestiture spin-offs. The results identify four primary causes for divestiture spin-offs: market periphery and overlap, asset redeployment, unprofitable resource utilization, and the critical timing decision between redeployment and divestiture. These insights reveal a significant shift in research focus, offering valuable knowledge for executives and management to move beyond traditional views and understand the underlying causes in a more nuanced way. This study provides essential guidance for executives, firm management, and policymakers, supporting informed decision-making in business unit divestitures and contributing to a more sustainable economic cycle. The originality and value of this research lie in its comprehensive identification of the causes behind firm exit in divestiture spin-offs, laying a robust foundation for future research and practical applications.

Abstract

This study aims to see the empowerment efforts of coastal women in improving the family economy in Margasari Village, Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency. This study used a qualitative research type with an ethnographic approach. The focus of the study was on four Poklahsar in Margasari Village. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then, qualitative data analysis was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data collection. The results of the study are that the empowerment of coastal women in Margasari Village through Poklahsar is carried out by providing various training, workshops, mentoring and assistance, both capital and production support facilities. Although the empowerment carried out has been quite massive, the impact of increasing income for families is still not significant because the marketing of processed food products produced by Poklahsar has not been optimal.

Abstract

Penggelapan dalam jabatan adalah tindak pidana yang sering terjadi di perusahaan, yang tidak hanya merugikan perusahaan secara finansial tetapi juga menimbulkan kerugian sosial yang lebih luas. Masalah ini penting untuk diteliti karena penggelapan dalam jabatan dapat merusak kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi bisnis dan berdampak negatif pada suasana investasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dasar pertimbangan hakim dalam menjatuhkan hukuman serta penerapan ketentuan pidana terhadap kasus penggelapan dalam jabatan yang dilakukan oleh karyawan PT Pajajaran Internusa Tekstil, berdasarkan Putusan PN No. 2206/Pid.B/2023/PN Sby. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, serta analisis dokumen putusan, wawancara dengan praktisi hukum, dan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Majelis Hakim telah mempertimbangkan terpenuhinya unsur-unsur tindak pidana penggelapan dalam jabatan, bukti-bukti yang ada, dan faktor-faktor yang memberatkan serta meringankan dalam menjatuhkan hukuman penjara selama 2 tahun 6 bulan terhadap terdakwa. Putusan ini dianggap cukup adil dan proporsional, tetapi perlu lebih memperhatikan aspek pemulihan kerugian korban dan upaya rehabilitasi/reintegrasi bagi terpidana. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan hukum pidana, terutama terkait dengan pertanggungjawaban pidana dalam kasus penggelapan di perusahaan, serta mendorong reformasi kebijakan dalam penanganan kasus serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Successor-related factors are among the most discussed topic in family firm succession. The purpose of this study is to explore successor-related factors associated with effective intra-family succession among successors. A total of 10 individuals participated in the study. Using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), four themes emerged from participants' personal statements and experiences: 1) autonomous motivation to take over family firm; 2) intense relationship between predecessor and successor; 3) personality traits; and 4) shared vision. The findings indicate that autonomous motivation to take over the family firm leads to effective intra-family succession since successor's passion aligns with family firms' needs. The intense relationship between predecessor and successor leads to effective intra-family succession in a way an open communication does exist. The smooth transfer of shared vision from predecessor to successor leads to effective intra-family succession. The interesting finding is younger successor differs from elderly successors in perceiving shared vision. Younger successors emphasize on individual motives, while elder successors emphasize on social motives. This work provides deeper insight related to successor-related factors, which leads to effective intra-family succession. In the future, it will be important to explore the potential use of a generational cohort concept in exploring successor-related factor in intra-family succession.
