Abstract

Primary analysis is a very important stage in a research development. Because the information obtained from this activity is the reason for the development of a research product. A preliminary study has been conducted in 7 high schools in West Sumatra, which aims to obtain information about the character of students, media and learning resources used by high school physics teachers to teach temperature and heat. This study was carried out in order to see the compatibility between the media and learning resources used by physics teachers with learning needs in the 21st Century. This activity applies a survey method, using questionnaire. Based on the analysis of student characteristics that have been obtained, students' interest in learning physics is 74.28, attitude is 76.29, student motivation is 79.36 and student learning style is 78.16. Initial analysis of teaching materials and media used by teachers obtained 100% of teachers stated that using textbooks in the learning process, 12.5% of teachers use modules and encyclopedias, 62.5% of teachers use LKS in the learning process. Learning media used by teachers in schools 37.5% teachers use videos, 37.5% teachers use power points. These results indicate that students' interest and motivation to learn are good, but the media used still needs to be adjusted. One of them is the addition of learning videos

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menilai kualitas instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keefektifan video pembelajaran berbasis CTL pada materi fluida. Jenis penelitian research and development menggunakan model ADDIE. Instrumen yang dinilai terdiri atas instrumen keterampilan berpikir kritis, instrumen keterampilan berpikir kreatif, instrumen keterampilan kolaborasi, instrumen keterampilan komunikasi lisan dan instrumen keterampilan komunikasi tulisan. Untuk menilai instrumen menggunakan lembar penilaian instrumen. Instrumen dinilai oleh dua validator. Kategori kevalidan menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V. Dari teknik analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa instrumen berada dalam  kategori valid dengan nilai rata-rata untuk instrumen efektifitas keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 0,89, instrumen efektifitas keterampilan berpikir kreatif 0,85, instrumen efektifitas keterampilan kolaborasi 0,94, instrumen efektifitas keterampilan komunikasi lisan 0,97 dan instrumen efektifitas keterampilan komunikasi tulisan 0,89. Jadi instrumen dapat digunakan untuk menilai keefektifan video.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adaah untuk menentukan pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar fisika siswa. Jenis dari penelitian ini adalah penelitian meta-analisis. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah 20 artikel yang telah dipublikasi oleh beberapa jurnal di Indonesia tentang penggunaan pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pemberian code (coding). Besar pengaruh model Problem based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran fisika memiliki effect size  rendah, tinggi dan sedang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh LKS pada kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran fisika yang ditentukan melalui effect size yang diperoleh dari 20 artikel nasional yang terakreditasi. Analisis didasarkan pada materi pokok pembelajaran, pendekatan pembelajaran, dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam LKS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa berdasarkan materi pokok, pendekatan dan model pembelajaran menggunakan LKS memiliki pengaruh yang sedang hingga tinggi terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Pengaruh yang paling tinggi menurut hasil data effect size adalah  pada materi Alat-alat optik, Gelombang Suara, Usaha dan energi ,dan  Fisika SMA. Pada model yang digunakan dalam LKS yang miliki pengaruh paling tinggi menggunakan model Guide Inquiry Learning. Sedangkan berdasarkan pendekatan pembelajaran LKS, pengaruh yang paling tinggi menurut hasil data effect size adalah pendekatan menggunakan STEM  terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Selai buah kolang kaling (Arenga Pinnata fruits jam) berperilaku sebagai fluida pseudoplastik yang memiliki tegangan permukaan bersifat koloid. Viskositas selai ini meningkat dengan diberikan perlakuan penambahan konsentrasi gula dan tingkat keasaman. Penerimaan keseluruhan panelis tertinggi untuk selai yang dibuat dengan gula 40%, jeruk nipis 0,2% dan garam 0,2% dari berat bubur kolang kaling yang dilumatkan. Uji kesukaan ragam selai buah kolang kaling dilakukan kepada 20 panelis tidak terlatih. Studi tingkat preferensi panelis untuk karakteristik sensorik dianalisis dengan model Rasch menggunakan aplikasi facets. Selai yang paling disukai dari karakteristik sensori aroma, warna, rasa, dan tingkat kemanisan adalah selai Nagaling (Naga kolang kaling). Sedangkan dari segi tekstur selai yang paling disukai adalah selai Nasling (Nenas Kolang Kaling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa exact agreement diperoleh sebesar 58,5%, nilai ini mendekati hasil analisis expected agreements yang diperoleh hasil sebesar 59,3%. Artinya analisis menunjukkan kesesuaian (fit) antara model dengan estimasinya. Kata kunci: preferensi panelis, selai, kolang kaling, karakteristik sensori, koloid ABSTRACT Arenga Pinnata Fruits jam behaved as pseudoplastic fluid exhibiting yield stress. Viscosity of this jam increased with sugar concentration and acidity. The overall acceptability was rated highest for the jam prepared with 40% sugar, 0,2 % lime drops and 0,2 % salts. The preference test for the diversification of Arenga Pinnata fruits jam was conducted on 20 untrained panelists. Panelists’ preferences level study for sensory characteristics was analyzed by Rasch model using the facets application. The most preferred jam from the sensory characteristics of smell, color, taste, level of sweetness is Nagaling jam. In other hands the terms of texture the most preferred jam is Nasling jam. The results show that exact agreements obtained are 58.5%, this value is close to the analysis of the expected agreements which obtained the results of 59,3%. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan atau persepsi siswa tentang media pembelajaran online selama masa pandemi lalu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Adabiah Padang kelas XI MIPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif karena penelitian ini lebih berpusat pada pandangan manusia.  Untuk memperoleh informasi, peneliti menyebarkan angket secara online melalui google form. Terdapat 30 responden yang bersedia mengisi angket, secara keseluruhan disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran online di SMA Adabiah Padang menurut pandangan siswa adalah dikategori sedang, dikarenakan semua fasilitas belajar online baik dirumah atau disekolah telah tersedia. Kata kunci: persepsi; efektivitas; media pembelajaran. ABSTRACTThis study aims to known the views or perceptions of students about online learning media during the past pandemic. This research was conducted at SMA Adabiah Padang class XI MIPA. This research were a qualitative research because this research was more centered on the human view. To obtain information, the researcher distributed an online questionnaire through a google form. There were 30 respondents who were willing to fill out a questionnaire, overall it was concluded that online learning media at Adabiah Padang High School according to students' views was in the moderate category, because all online learning facilities both were available at home and at school. Keywords: perception; effectiveness; learning media.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat efektivitas dari beberapa model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian meta-analisis yang menggambarkan effect size dari penelitian-penelitian pendidikan mengenai pengaruh model-model pembelajaran terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika siswa SMA. Model pembelajaran yang di bandingkan dalam penelitian meta-analisis ini adalah model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, Inkuiri, Kooperatif, Direct Instruction, dan Problem Based Learning. Model pembelajaran yang memiliki efektivitas tertinggi adalah model pembelajaran Langsung (Direct Instruction) dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.43 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Model pembelajaran lain yang juga memiliki nilai rata-rata effect size yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi adalah model pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.39, model pembelajaran Kooperatif dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 1.11, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.96, serta model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan nilai rata-rata effect size 0.92. Kata kunci: Meta-Analisis; Discovery Learning; Inkuiri; Kooperatif; Direct Instruction; Problem Based Learning; Pemahaman Konsep; Fisika ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of several learning models in improving the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. This research is a meta-analysis that describes the effect size of educational studies regarding the influence of learning models on the understanding of physics concepts for high school students. The learning models compared in this meta-analysis are the Discovery Learning, Inquiry, Cooperative, Direct Instruction, and Problem Based Learning learning models. The learning model that has the highest effectiveness is the Direct Instruction model with an average effect size value of 1.43 which is included in the high category. Other learning models that also have an average effect size value that is included in the high category are the Inquiry learning model with an average effect size value of 1.39, the Cooperative learning model with an average effect size value of 1.11, and the Discovery Learning learning model with an average value. the average effect size is 0.96, as well as the Problem Based Learning model with an average effect size value of 0.92. Keywords: Meta-Analysis; Discovery Learning; Inquiry; Cooperative; Direct Instruction; Problem Based Learning; Concept Understanding; Physics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen validitas yang berkualitas yang digunakan dalam menilai validitas video pembelajaran fisika berbasis CTL pada materi fluida. Instrumen yang dinilai terdiri atas instrumen validitas isi, konstruk dan bahasa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 3 validator terkait yang ahli pada dibidangnya. Penilaian instrumen validitas ini menggunakan lembar penilaian instrumen. Berdasarkan dari pengolahan dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa instrumen berada dalam kategori valid dengan nilai rata-rata untuk validasi isi sebesar 0,89, nilai rata-rata untuk validasi konstruk sebesar 0,91, dan nilai rata-rata untuk validasi bahasa sebesar 0,83. Dengan demikian, instrumen layak digunakan untuk mengukur validitas video pembelajaran fisika berbasis CTL pada materi fulida.

Abstract

Achievement of student learning outcomes in learning Physics is still not as expected. The reason is there are several factors such as the lack of books as learning resources that support students' knowledge and insights beyond the knowledge taught in school. Like an enrichment book, which contains facts about learning so that it helps students better understand learning. In addition, there is no electrical book (E-Book) as the use of technology in science to support learning activities that have an impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore, speculation the solution to this problem is the giving of Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Books to students of SMAN 2 Padang. This study aims to determine the effect and relationship of E-Book Enrichment of Motion Theme Physics on Student Learning Outcomes Class X of SMAN 2 Padang.The type of research applied was quasi-experimental research with the research scheme Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population in this studys were all students of class X SMAN 2 Padang who were register in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. Sampling for research is done by combining purposive sampling and cluster random sampling techniques. The sample in this study were 72 students from class X MIPA 2 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 3 as a control class. The research instrument consisted of a demonstration assessment sheet of critical thinking skills and creative thinking skills. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis and two average similarity tests.The results showed that there was an influence on student learning outcomes which was significant from the giving of the Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Book and there was a significant correlation of the giving of the Motion Theme Physics Enrichment E-Book to student learning outcomes for knowledge and skill competencies at the 0.05 level. It can be seen in the analysis of the data, that for knowledge competencies and skills the value of th is in the rejection area of Ho which means that student learning outcomes experience significant differences for the two competencies.

Abstract

Physics learning process is generally teacher-centered and does not provide opportunities for students to develop their potential by issuing their ideas. The learning is not by the demands of the 2013 curriculum, which is student-centered, students who find a concept in learning. Many studies use student worksheets that measure aspects of student knowledge. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect size of worksheets on aspects of student knowledge. This research uses the meta-analyst method. Data collection was done by browsing e-journals, SINTA and Google scholar. The data used are several articles published from 2013-2021 through national and international accredited journals. The sample of this study was 55 articles, consisting of 45 national articles and 10 international articles. The articles used have met the criteria for calculating effect size. Three indicators compare the effect of using LKS based on student knowledge grade level, subject matter units, and learning models. Based on the study results, it was found that the effect size of the use of LKS on the three indicators was (1) The largest effect size is obtained on class level indicator, with high category in class XI of 0.73 with medium category. (2) on unit subject indicator, largest effect size is on the fluid material unit of 0.77 with a high category. And (3) on indicator of the learning model, the largest effect size on the project based learning model is 0.86 with a high category.
