Abstract

Various kinds of additives have often been carried out in an effort to improve the quality of concrete so that it is higher by utilizing alternative materials that are easily available so that manufacture of concrete becomes economical. This research is the utilization of waste Shell from palm oil in the combination of light congrete where the palm oil shell is used as the substitute of rough agregat both for the half or the whole in the purpose to get the effect of the palm oil shell in making light congrete, rough agregat with the palm oil shell expected with the cultivation of palm oil waste can increase the press power of aggregat. The changing process of palm oil Shell is by counting the volume of rough agregat. The percentage variation of palm oil Shell toward the volume of rough agregat in the combination is as follows 25 percent of palm oil Shell, 50 percent of palm oil shell 75 percent of palm oil Shell and 100 percen of palm oil Shell. From the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 28 days obtained an average of 23.86 Mpa. While the results of testing the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 28 days using palm shells at variations of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% have an average compressive strength value of 14.9 MPa, 11.6 MPa, 4.25 MPa, and 2.73 MPa.

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the optimal molasses concentration for the growth of Saccharomyces Cereviciae yeast and the protein content of Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast in making PST. This research used an experimental method with a quantitative approach and used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The concentrations in this study were 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% molasses and control. The results obtained showed that the protein levels obtained ranged from 13-47%. Apart from that, the highest specific growth rate (SGR) and protein productivity were found in the M1 treatment with 10% molasses.

Abstract

The coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause disease in humans and animals. Data from West Sumatra captures that until December 31, 2020, there were 23,441 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 21,601 people recovered. Does the recovery from COVID-19 have anything to do with social support, health behaviors that are always recommended by Regional Leaders in West Sumatra, Religious coping for the people of West Sumatra which affects the free pandemic of COVID-19? To answer this phenomenon, it is necessary to investigate the effect of social support, healthy behavior, religious coping on COVID-19 Pandemic free through immunity in West Sumatra, Indonesia.as a population, with the Slovin formula sample Becomes 174 respondents. The recovery of COVID-19, whether it has to do with social support, religious coping in which West Sumatra, and health behaviors that are always recommended by the Regional Leadership in the West Sumatera, give rise to immunity so that it influences the pandemic COVID-19. The research model used is a mixed-method, by combining quantitative with SEM software AMOS-24 and qualitative with interviews with respondents and the community as well as the COVID-19 West Sumatera Cluster Team. The result indicates that changes in immunity are influenced by religious coping, healthy behavior and social support is 95.60%, the remaining 3.40% is influenced by other variables not included in this study. changes in the Free COVID-19 pandemics are influenced by 100% religious coping, healthy behavior, social support and immunity.

Abstract

Vaname shrimp is one of the shrimp species cultivated in Indonesia, especially in Kolaka Regency. However, production from aquaculture activities has decreased every year. It was found that shrimp growth was not optimal and the emergence of disease and crop failure resulted in farmers losing money and many cultivation areas were found abandoned. This is due to the absence of land suitability evaluation from the beginning. This study aims to evaluate the suitability of vaname shrimp ponds on the coast of Kolaka Regency, especially in Wundulako and Pomalaa sub-districts based on water and soil characteristics. Measurements of water and soil parameters, such as ammonia, nitrite, salinity, temperature, dissolved oxygen, water pH, soil pH, and soil redox potential, were collected from 50 shrimp pond sites. Tests were conducted both in the laboratory and in the field (in situ). The collected data were analyzed using the Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) spatial analysis method with ArcGIS 10.2 software, then refined with overlapping techniques combined with land suitability criteria for white shrimp pond culture, namely highly suitable, moderately suitable, and marginally suitable. The suitability criteria have been given a weighted importance value based on the consideration of literature studies and expert justification. The results of the analysis on the location of shrimp aquaculture ponds in Kolaka found only two categories of suitability, namely moderately suitable and marginally suitable with an area of 1,208 Ha and 13.7 Ha. The results of this study guide farmers in selecting locations and planning actions in suitable vaname shrimp farming activities, so it is expected to increase the productivity and sustainability of shrimp farming in the future
