Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic for the 2020-2021 school year, Rangkah Kidul Elementary School carried out online learning. The online learning of simple fractions for grade 3 conducted at SDN Rangkah Kidul is less than optimal because it is more dominant in assignments and is teacher-centered. So that the ability of students to understand the material of simple fractions is lacking. For that we need interesting teaching materials that can be read and studied anywhere and anytime and can improve student understanding. This research aims to create and develop teaching material products in the form of e-modules. Therefore, this study examines the steps of e-module development, the feasibility of e-modules, and the effectiveness of the simple fractions mathematics e-module in improving the understanding of 3rd graders at SDN Rangkah Kidul. This research is a development research with ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Collecting data using questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The analysis technique uses a value comparison formula, pair sanple t test, and linear regression with the help of the SPSS 16 program. The results of the study explain the steps of e-module development which consist of analyzing needs and problems, compiling and planning learning objectives, developing products through feasibility tests, implementing products with field trials, and evaluate product use. Then the results of the feasibility of the e-module by material experts 87.14% and media experts 92.31% and field trials to 24 students of 94.91% meaning that the e-module is very feasible. Furthermore, there is the effect of using e-modules on increasing students' understanding with an increase in class average from 78.50 to 89.08 and the magnitude of the effect is 66.4%. In conclusion, the development of the simple fractions math e-module is feasible and effective to improve the understanding of grade 3 students in online learning at SDN Rangkah Kidul.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the influence and how much influence video learning media has on students' learning motivation in thematic learning of science content for class V at SDN Kemangsen 02 Balongbendo Sidoarjo. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with a Pre-Experimental design in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample of this research is class V-A and V-B SDN Kemangsen 02 with a total of 42 students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis used a descriptive quantitative analysis approach to determine whether there were differences before and after treatment, so that it could be stated whether or not the treatment had an effect with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between the use of video learning media on students' learning motivation in thematic learning of science content for class V at SDN Kemangsen 02 Balongbendo Sidoarjo which has been proven through hypothesis testing (t-test) and the tcount value is 4,497. > t table 2.021 which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The level of influence is evidenced by the total pretest score of 82% with an average of 49.12 included in the less category while the total posttest score of 84% with an average of 50.40 included in the good category and evidenced by the R Squere value of 0.336 or 33, 6%. This means that the influence of video learning media on students' learning motivation is 33.6%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher creativity in the learning process and student learning motivation during the covid pandemic at MI Muhammadiyah 3 Penatarsewu. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational research design. The assessment instrument used is a statement in the form of multiple choice, totaling 10 questions to find out the answers of the respondents. The sample of this study was class 3 at MI Muhammadiyah 3 Penatarsewu with a total of 20 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis using Pearson correlation test. Data analysis using Pearson correlation test through IBM SPSS 24.0 application. The results of the research on the Pearson correlation test of teacher creativity on learning motivation show that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of the variable of teacher creativity and student learning motivation is 0.113 which means > 0.05, then the variable of teacher creativity and student motivation is not correlated (not related). While the Pearson Correlation value is 0.366 and there is a negative value. Then the variables of teacher creativity and student learning motivation include imperfect correlations or weak correlations because the Pearson correlation value is < 1.00. If there is a negative value, it means that the higher the value of teacher creativity, the lower the value of student learning motivation and vice versa, the lower the value of teacher creativity, the higher the value of student learning motivation. It can be concluded that the teacher's creativity variable on student learning motivation has a correlation with the degree of relationship, namely the weak correlation and the form of the relationship is negative.

Abstract

General Background: Education quality is strongly influenced by the teaching methods applied, as they shape students’ understanding and engagement. Specific Background: In Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at SDN Grogol 2 Kediri, conventional methods such as lectures and assignments have led to low student comprehension. Knowledge Gap: Limited studies have explored the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in early grade Islamic education using a classroom action research (CAR) framework. Aims: This study aimed to investigate the application of the TGT model to improve learning outcomes in grade II Islamic Religious Education. Results: Conducted over two CAR cycles involving 30 students, findings showed an increase in the average score from 69.33 (cycle I) with 40% not meeting the minimum criteria, to 77.46 (cycle II) with only 3% not meeting the criteria. Novelty: The research uniquely integrates TGT with structured digital game-based tournaments for Islamic education in early grades. Implications: These results suggest that TGT can serve as an effective and engaging pedagogical approach to improve student performance and participation in Islamic Religious Education at the elementary level. Highlights: Improved scores from cycle I to cycle II through TGT model Integration of digital games in Islamic Religious Education learning Active participation and reduced number of students below minimum criteria Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Team Games Tour, Islamic Education, Learning Outcomes, Elementary School
