Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil analisis faktor kesulitan belajar IPA konsep kelistrikan kelas IX SMP di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh adanya kesulitan belajar yang di alami oleh siswa sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya hasil belar yang memuaskan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 3 guru IPA kelas IX dan 30 siswa kelas IX. Penelitian ini di laksanakan di SMP di Kabupaten Pandeglang yaitu SMPN 1 Cimanggu, SMPN 1 Sumur dan SMPN 1 Cibaliung. Penelitian ini di laksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2020-2021 semester ganjil. Hasil yang di dapatkan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari hasil angket dan wawancara. Perolehan data hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor kesulitan belajar konsep kelistrikan SMP  di Kabupaten pandeglang adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep sebanyak 77,8%, kemampuan matematis sebanyak 83,4% dan kemampuan mengkonversi satuan sebanyak 78,0%.

Abstract

Pengembangan LKS Learning Cycle 7E berbantuan QR Code untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains tema air tercemar menjadi bersih bertujuan untuk menyajikan hasil pengembangan dan mendeskripsikan tingkat kevalidan LKS yang telah dibuat. Metode penelitian yg digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan Research and Development (R &   D) dengan model penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan mengacu pada Borg and Gall (1983) melalui modifikasi yang disesuaikan dengan kemampuan dan kebutuhan peneliti dengan dibatasi pada 3 tahapan saja yaitu: tahap pencarian dan pengumpulan data (research and information collecting), perencanaan (planning), pengembangan awal produk (develop preliminary form of product). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar instrumen angket untuk uji kevalidan yang akan dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan desain. Data dianalisis secara deskripstif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil kevalidan LKS Learning Cycle 7E berbantuan QR Code untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan proses sains tema air tercemar menjadi bersih bahwa nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 89,72 dengan kategori “sangat valid”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis cakupan komponen literasi lingkungan dalam buku teks pelajaran IPA SMP Kurikulum 2013 Terbitan Kemendikbud Kelas VII, VIII dan IX. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan teknik analisis isi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi isi dokumen. Adapun teknik analisis data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komponen literasi lingkungan belum tercakup dengan baik dalam buku teks pelajaran IPA SMP Kurikulum 2013 Terbitan Kemendikbud karena tidak semua mendapat atensi yang sama. Komponen literasi lingkungan yang mendapat atensi pada buku teks pelajaran IPA SMP Kurikulum 2013 yaitu pengetahuan ekologi dan sejarah alam, pengetahuan masalah dan isu lingkungan, serta keterampilan kognitif. Adapun komponen lainnya yang kurang mendapat atensi yaitu pengetahuan sosial-politik-ekonomi, afeksi dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, serta perilaku bertanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan, masih dapat dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan konten lingkungan ke dalam bab-bab pada buku IPA SMP Kurikulum 2013 Terbitan Kemendikbud.

Abstract

Pengembangan e-modul pelestarian lingkungan berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siwa SMP. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan e-modul  pelestarian lingkungan berbasis PBL yang telah dibuat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research & Development), dengan model penelitian menurut Borg & Gall (1983) tetapi tahapannya dibatasi oleh peneliti dan dimodifikasi sesuai kebutuhan. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tahap pertama  yaitu pencarian dan pengumpulan data, Tahap kedua yaitu tahap perencanaan, Tahap ketiga yaitu pengembangan produk awal, yang terdiri dari pembuatan desain E-Modul, validasi dan revisi produk. E-modul yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi dan dilakukan revisi berdasarkan saran ahli. Tingkat kevalidan e-modul yang dikembangkan berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli mempeoleh nilai persentase ahli materi sebesar 82,8% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan validasi ahli media memperoleh nilai persentase sebesar 83,3% dengan kategori sangat valid. berdasarkan hasil penilaian ahli tersebut maka E-Modul Pelestarian Lingkungan berbasis Problem Based Learning ini dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan di lapangan setelah dilakukan revisi berdasarkan saran ahli.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemunculan muatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan mendeskripsikan aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif dalam buku teks IPA SMP kurikulum 2013 kelas VII pada tema udaraku bersih yang digunakan di Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan statistik deskriptif. Intrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen muatan aspek kemampuan berpikir kreatif yang dimodifikasi dari Munandar (2009) pada masing-masing buku teks. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemunculan tiap aspek pada buku IPA kelas VII tema udaraku bersih terbitan Kemendikbud adalah aspek kelancaran (fluency) yaitu sebesar 75% kategori sesuai,  aspek keluwesan (flexibility) 66,67% kategori sesuai, aspek keaslian (originality) 66,67% kategori sesuai, dan aspek elaborasi (elaboration) 66,67% kategori sesuai. Kemunculan aspek pada buku IPA kelas VII tema udaraku bersih terbitan Yudhistira yaitu aspek kelancaran (fluency) 50% kategori cukup sesuai, aspek keluwesan (flexibility) 33,33% kurang sesuai, aspek keaslian (originality) 33,33% kurang sesuai, dan aspek elaborasi (elaboration) 100% sangat sesuai. Kemunculan aspek pada buku IPA kelas VII tema udaraku bersih terbitan Erlangga yaitu aspek kelancaran (fluency) 50% cukup sesuai, aspek keluwesan (flexibility) 66,67% sesuai, aspek keaslian (originality) 33,33% kurang sesuai, dan aspek elaborasi (elaboration) 66,67% kategori sesuai

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of development of innovative contextual-based learning media. The aims of this research were (1) to develop a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills, and (2) to determine the feasibility level of a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills. The method used was research and development of a 4-D model modified by Thiagaradjan. The research was conducted in 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The instrument used was a validation sheet which is validated by expert lecturers and junior high school science teachers. The results showed that (1) the process of developing a science bulletin was carried out using three stages of the 4-D model, such as define, namely problem identification, design, namely producing products and instruments, and developing stage, namely obtaining product feasibility, (2) feasibility level of food science bulletins. as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) oriented to critical thinking skills, it gets a very decent category from material experts and media experts, each getting a percentage of 87.48%, for material experts and 91.40% for media experts. Based on the overall validation value, if on average it gets a percentage of 89.44% in the very feasible category, so that science bulletins can be used as learning media and can be tested in science learning in schools.

Abstract

Science education-based local media on the carbon footprint subject was developed in order to demonstrate the creation and description of the learning media that have been prepared. There are three stages in the R&D process: define, design, and development. The R&D approach is based on Thiagarajan et al. (1974)'s development model. In-depth interviews and expert-led validity tests are undertaken using a variety of instrument. Descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed on the data. The results of this study obtained a score of 93.8% (very feasible) in terms of feasibility, 98.4% (very feasible) in the presentation aspect, 94.3% (very feasible) in the graphic aspect, and 99.7% (very feasible). in the language aspect. So that when viewed as a whole, the aspect obtained a value of 96.5% with very feasible criteria.

Abstract

At the junior hight school level in carrying out the science learning process, the teacher only applies the lecture method which only provides theory and does not carry put pratical so that students alack interest in learning. This result in the low active participation of students in learning activities and learning outcomes are less satisfactory. As an alternative to overcome partical problems and foster interest in learning, a virtual laboratory based on guided inquiry was developed with the theme of objects around us. The virtual laboratory is validated by experts, namely material experts, media and pratitioners to obtain validity data used in the learning process. The research method used is Research and Development  with reference to the development model of Thiagarajan (1974) which was modified in 3 stage. The instruments used are interview sheets and validation sheets. The results of the validity level of guided inquiry-based virtual laboratory with the theme of objects around us obtainded an average value of 92,67% with the ‘very valid’.  Based on this assessment, a guided inquiry-based virtual laboratory with the theme of objects around us in fostering interest in learning for students can be applied in learning activities.

Abstract

Learning activities that lead to creative thinking skills have not been fully implemented.. Creative thinking skills can be trained by developing teaching materials in the form of E-Worksheet which is able to train students' reasoning abilities. The open-ended problem approach is able to direct students to solve problems in various ways. So that the E-Worksheet based on open ended problems is able to give students the freedom to describe the results of creative analysis to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of validity of the E-Worksheet based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme to train the creative thinking skills of grade VII students. The method used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D research and development model by Thiagarajan (1975) which is modified as needed by being limited to the development stage until the product validation test. The instrument used is a validation questionnaire sheet that has been tested by instrument experts to determine the level of validity of the developed E-Worksheet. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the level of validity of the E-LKPD based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme obtained a value of 89,1% with the "very valid" category. The results of the assessment are based on the average value of material experts, media experts, and expert practitioners.

Abstract

Interest in learning is a psychological aspect that influences every student in learning because the interest that students have will give rise to feelings of liking, interest, attention and involvement of students in learning activities without any compulsion. Based on the results of interviews at one of the schools in Cilegon City, it found that student's interest in learning was still relatively low because the teaching materials used by teachers were still relatively less varied and less interesting. This can be overcome by developing teaching materials in the form of science e-modules based on Google Slides. This research aimed to identify the level of validity of developing a Google Slides-based science e-module with the theme of global warming to foster students' interest in learning. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) according to Borg and Gall which is modified according to the needs of researchers and limited to the stages of design validation to product revision. The instrument used in this research was an expert validation questionnaire sheet which has been tested by instrument experts to determine the level of validity of the e-module being developed. Data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this research were based on the percentage of scores from experts, namely 91.1% in the "Very Valid" category. This shows that the Google Slides-based science e-module with the theme of global warming is very valid for fostering interest in learning for class VII middle school students.
