Abstract

Gampong Lamnga merupakan salah satu Gampong di Kecamatan Mesjid Raya Kabupaten Aceh Besar yang mayoritas masyarakatnya bekerja sebagai petani. Ketergantungan terhadap penggunaan pupuk untuk produkstivitas tanaman tidak bisa dihindari. Pupuk yang umumnya di gunakan oleh masyarakat adalah pupuk kimia, karena mudah di dapat akan tetapi menjadi kendala dikarenakan harga jual pupuk kimia yang tinggi sedangkan kebutuhan pupuk semakin meningkat hingga massa panen. Solusi yang ditawarkan kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat adalah mencari alternatif pengganti pupuk kimia yaitu dengan membuat pupuk organik berbahan baku limbah feses kambing. Pupuk organik merupakan pupuk yang kaya akan kandungan unsur hara yang sangat baik bagi pertumbuhan tanaman. Limbah feses mengandung zat hara seperti nitrogen, fospor, kalium dan air. Populasi ternak kambing yang setiap tahun mengalami peningkatan, akan berdampak terhadap limbah feses yang di hasilkan. Apabila limbah feses ini tidak dikelola dengan baik, akan mencemari lingkungan dan menggangu kesehatan masyarakat. Kegiatan bertujuan memanfaatkan limbah feses ternak kambing menjadi pupuk organik. Kegiatan melibatkan petani dan peternak kambing di lingkungan Gampong Lamnga. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan yaitu tahap sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik berbahan baku limbah feses kambing. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif untuk masyarakat Gampong Lamnga diantaranya meningkatkan ketrampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah limbah feses kambing menjadi pupuk organik secara mandiri sehingga dapat mengurangi ketergantungan penggunaan pupuk kimia serta dapat menjaga lingkungan dari dampak pencemaran sektor peternakan.

Abstract

Under normal conditions, learning is carried out directly face-to-face. During the Covid-19 pandemic, learning is online via the internet network. Online learning during the Covid-19 era was something new, experiencing various obstacles and problems. This research aims to determine the planning, constraints, and efforts to implement learning in the PAI Study Program UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh during the Covid-19 period. The methodology that the writer uses is field research and laboratory research. The research results can be concluded that PAI lecturers' learning planning during the Covid 19 period was by making an RPS (Semester Learning Plan) form. The obstacles faced are constraints on the ability of lecturers to master digital media or IT and internet network regulations that are difficult or often not good so that learning sometimes cannot be carried out. Problems with laptop facilities, mobile phones need more capacity and facilities. The campus's online learning facilities or systems at the start of Covid 19 were sometimes problematic due to economic constraints for delivering data or internet packages. For internet network problems, lecturers look for internet networks on campus, in cafes, or with hotspots. For obstacles to mastery of applications and learning strategies, lecturers try to seriously learn on online learning applications or platforms by independently or taking part in training made by the campus and asking colleagues.

Abstract

expected model scan fosters students' mathematical connection skills, namely through the application of the AIR (Auditory Intellectual Repetition) model assisted by geogebra software. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in students' mathematical connection abilities after obtaining learning by applying the AIR (Auditory Intellectual Repetition) model assisted by geogebra software. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The population of this study was class IX students of SMPN 1 Peukan Pidie by taking samples of two classes consisting of an experimental class and a control class. The sample selection was done by random sampling. The instrument used is a mathematical connection ability test. The data analysis technique uses the ANOVA test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there were differences in the mathematical connection abilities of students who were taught through the application of the AIR (Auditory Intellectual Repetition) model assisted by geogebra software with conventional learning. Furthermore, the results of this study also identified that there was no interaction between learning and student level on students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

The sustainable economic socialization program through hydroponic agribusiness in Menasah Tutong Village aims to enhance the community's understanding and skills in implementing hydroponic farming systems as a modern agricultural solution. This initiative includes education, practical training, and ongoing mentoring for participants, particularly members of the PKK (Family Welfare Empowerment) group. The results indicate an increase in knowledge and skills in hydroponic cultivation, as well as business opportunities in the agricultural sector. Additionally, this program promotes food security and economic independence within the community. Although challenges such as limited resources and product marketing remain, this initiative has the potential to serve as a sustainable community empowerment model. In the future, long-term mentoring and collaboration with various stakeholders are essential to ensure the program's sustainability and its positive impact on the community.

Abstract

Developing a disciplined character among university students is a major challenge for higher education in Indonesia, especially in religious-based institutions expected to produce graduates with strong integrity and values. This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by lecturers to foster student discipline in the Social Welfare Study Program at the Faculty of Da’wah and Communication, UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with purposively selected lecturers and students. Data analysis followed an interactive process involving data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that lecturers’ strategies for nurturing discipline involve careful planning centered on role-modeling, the creation of inclusive learning environments, and the consistent enforcement of academic regulations. Implementation includes demonstrating exemplary behavior, actively engaging students in academic activities, and utilizing technology to support communication and supervision. Key obstacles identified include weak internalization of discipline among students, low academic motivation, environmental influences, and limited support from both institutions and families. These results highlight the importance of synergy among lecturers, students, social environments, and institutional policies in building effective and sustainable student discipline. Abstrak Penanaman karakter disiplin pada mahasiswa merupakan tantangan utama yang dihadapi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia, terutama pada lingkungan perguruan tinggi keagamaan yang dituntut melahirkan lulusan berintegritas dan berkarakter kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi dosen dalam membentuk karakter disiplin mahasiswa di Program Studi Kesejahteraan Sosial Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap dosen serta mahasiswa yang dipilih secara purposive. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi dosen dalam membangun karakter disiplin mahasiswa meliputi perencanaan yang matang berbasis keteladanan, penciptaan lingkungan pembelajaran yang inklusif, dan penegakan aturan secara konsisten. Implementasi strategi dilakukan melalui keteladanan perilaku, pelibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam kegiatan akademik, serta pemanfaatan teknologi untuk mendukung komunikasi dan pengawasan. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi lemahnya internalisasi nilai disiplin pada mahasiswa, rendahnya motivasi belajar, pengaruh lingkungan sosial, serta keterbatasan dukungan institusi dan keluarga. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara dosen, mahasiswa, lingkungan sosial, dan kebijakan institusi dalam membangun karakter disiplin yang efektif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The culture of teenage dating presents a significant challenge in shaping students’ character, especially within tahfiz-based schools that combine Islamic education and the national curriculum. This phenomenon has become a serious concern for Islamic educational institutions seeking to nurture morally grounded youth amid increasing digital exposure. This study aims to explore the strategies employed by teachers to prevent dating culture in Islamic boarding schools. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving all teachers. The findings reveal that prevention strategies are implemented in three stages: planning based on the values of iffah (self-restraint) and haya’ (modesty), implementation through daily religious routines, teacher role modeling, and social supervision, and addressing challenges such as digital media influence and limited after-hours monitoring. This study underscores the importance of integrating Islamic character education with context-sensitive pedagogical approaches in shaping adolescent behavior. It contributes to the development of character-building models responsive to the challenges of the digital age. Abstrak Budaya pacaran di kalangan remaja merupakan tantangan serius dalam pembinaan karakter siswa, terlebih di sekolah berbasis tahfiz yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama dan kurikulum nasional. Fenomena ini menjadi perhatian khusus bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia di tengah arus digitalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi guru dalam mencegah budaya pacaran di lingkungan sekolah tahfiz. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap seluruh guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pencegahan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap: perencanaan berbasis nilai iffah dan haya’, implementasi melalui pembiasaan ibadah, keteladanan guru, dan pengawasan sosial, serta penanganan kendala yang mencakup pengaruh media digital dan keterbatasan pengawasan di luar jam sekolah. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi antara pendidikan karakter Islami dan pendekatan pedagogis yang kontekstual dalam membentuk perilaku remaja. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan model pembinaan karakter yang responsif terhadap tantangan era digital.

Abstract

Audio-visual media constitutes a pivotal instructional tool that facilitates the achievement of learning objectives through enhanced student engagement and comprehension. This study aims to examine the comparative effectiveness of storytelling methods and audio-visual media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Aqidah Akhlak. Employing a classroom action research approach, data were collected through documentation, observation, and the administration of pre-tests and post-tests. The findings reveal that the storytelling method led to a 20% improvement in student performance, whereas the implementation of audio-visual media resulted in a 90% increase in learning outcomes. These results underscore the superior efficacy of audio-visual media in reinforcing conceptual understanding and fostering meaningful learning experiences among students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan kreativitas Ibu PKK melalui pelatihan teknik ecoprint ramah lingkungan di Desa Bung Daroh, Kecamatan Montasik, Aceh Besar. Potensi vegetasi lokal yang melimpah belum dimanfaatkan secara produktif, sementara keterampilan masyarakat, khususnya ibu rumah tangga, masih terbatas. Pelatihan ecoprint diberikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengolah bahan alami seperti daun dan bunga menjadi produk bernilai jual, seperti totebag kain. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teori dan praktik, evaluasi hasil karya, serta monitoring pasca-pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta mampu menghasilkan produk ecoprint berkualitas. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran lingkungan dan mendorong ekonomi kreatif berbasis potensi lokal. Pelatihan ecoprint terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pemberdayaan perempuan dan penguatan ekonomi keluarga secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Cosmetic products in Indonesia are growing rapidly in this era of technological progress, so now cosmetics are synonymous with women, and men are also interested in skincare. However, due to the lack of knowledge about the function of the substances contained in a product whether it is good or not if used in cosmetic products. Apart from that, most people do not know how to utilize village potential. Making organic masks aims to avoid the dangers of instant masks and utilizing the potential of village natural resources is the right solution. Therefore, this community service activity can be used as education on organic masks based on utilizing the potential of Ulva lactuca seaweed. Organic masks are very safe from chemicals that can damage facial skin. Organic masks contain more nutrients that are good for facial skin and can be used by all facial skin types. The results of community service showed a low increase in the participants' understanding of knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of gadget use on children's learning motivation at Edu Privat Beurawe. The background of this study states that there is a shift in children's learning interests along with the development of information technology that provides easy access to various learning resources. The use of gadgets among students, although presenting some problems, also offers significant potential in increasing learning motivation. The research method used was a survey with a questionnaire distributed to 17 junior high school students at Edu Privat Beurawe, which explored the frequency of gadget use and its impact on their learning motivation. Data analysis showed that 80% of students used gadgets to study for 2-3 hours per day, and the results indicated a significant positive relationship between gadget use and learning motivation (p < 0.05). Students who actively used gadgets for educational purposes showed higher learning motivation scores with an average of 78 compared to those who used gadgets less who only reached an average of 65. However, around 35% of respondents reported that they were often distracted by non-educational applications, indicating challenges that need to be addressed. This study provides insight into teaching strategies in the digital era that can create a more engaging and effective learning environment for students.
