Abstract

Ijen Crater, located in Banyuwangi and Bondowoso regencies, is a unique and attractive natural tourist destination, famous for natural phenomena such as the deep blue crater lake and rare blue fire. This article discusses the development potential of Ijen Crater as a sustainable tourist destination, focusing on aspects of attractions, facilities and accessibility. Attraction aspects include natural beauty and local culture, such as sunrise views, sulfur miners, and folklore. Existing facilities, although covering basic needs, still need to be improved to support the increasing number of tourists, especially in terms of accommodation, climbing equipment, and educational facilities. Accessibility to Kawah Ijen, while good, could be improved through the development of alternative hiking trails and public transportation. These additions and improvements are expected to enhance the tourist experience and ensure the sustainability of the environment around Kawah Ijen

Abstract

This activity aims to instill noble moral values exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad to the community, as well as increase social care through social services. This program involved participants from representatives of majelis taklim throughout the Pisangan sub-district. Pisangan with a target beneficiary of 1,000 coupons containing basic necessities and other basic needs. Community service activities were carried out on Sunday, January 5 and 12, 2025, at the STIE Ganesha Campus and the Baiturrahman mosque, Pisangan Village. The activity implementation method consists of three main stages: (1) Isra Mi'raj Commemoration which is filled with tausiyah about the morals of the Prophet Muhammad, (2) Distribution of food and drink to the community. morals of the Prophet Muhammad, (2) Distribution of Social Service Coupons, and (3) Distribution of Assistance to People in Need. This activity successfully reached around 250 participants representing mosques and taklim assemblies. Through this program, the community is expected to take lessons from the Prophet's struggle and apply them in everyday life by strengthening solidarity and social care. The results of the activity showed the enthusiasm of the community in participating in the event and positive acceptance of the assistance provided. The implications of this activity are expected to encourage the community to be more active in religious and social activities, as well as strengthen the relationship between STIE Ganesha and the community. between STIE Ganesha and the local community. This activity also reinforces character education values based on noble morals that are relevant for young generation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Kelas X Fase E 1 Semester Ganjil TP 2024/2025 di SMA Negeri 2 Kec. Pangkalan Koto Baru. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada mata pelajaran Geografi, dengan menggunakaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2024. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Kec. Pangkalan Koto Baru yang berlokasi di JL. Lintas Sumbar-Riau KM-75 Kecamatan Pangkalan Koto Baru Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X Fase E1 yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar peserta didik dari siklus ke siklus meningkat. Peningkatan terjadi pada setiap indikator dengan rata-rata persentase siklus 1 yaitu 73,7 % dan siklus 2 sebesar 81,8% sehingga dapat diketahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam 2 siklus sebesar adalah 80,2%. Artinya aktivitas belajar peserta didik masuk dalam kategori tinggi (tercapai). Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Geografi.

Abstract

Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) is caused by the Lumpy Skin Disease Virus (LSDV) that affects cattle and buffalo. The symptoms include the development of lumps or nodules on the skin of infected animals. Therefore, this study aimed to detect the presence of LSD and determine factors associated with the incidence in cattle transhipped through Merak Port. Samples were collected in the form of oral and nasal swabs, then tested with quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR). The results showed that there were two positive LSD samples confirmed by molecular testing using qPCR. The positive cattle did not show clinical signs or were suspected to be sub-clinically infected, while the Ct values obtained were 27.71 and 28.88. The use of molecular methods with qPCR showed relatively good results for the detection of LSD. Cattle that did not show clinical signs were detected as positive by the test. This is because qPCR can detect viruses more quickly and accurately, even at very low viral load levels. Factors associated with the incidence of LSD in the Merak Port (p < 0.05) were farm origin and biosecurity measures, knowledge of livestock handlers, vaccination status, and disinfection practices.

Abstract

This research aims to help hypothesize for future authors in determining research related to Marketing Management. The research article Determination of Consumer Satisfaction and Consumer Loyalty: Analysis of Brand Image, Service Quality, Promotion and Price is a scientific literature article within the scope of marketing management. The approach used in this literature review research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique is to use literature studies or conduct literature reviews of relevant previous articles. The data used in this study are secondary data, which are sourced from academic online media such as Thomson Reuters Journals, Sage, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Scopus Emerald, Elsevier, Sage, Springer, Web of Science, Sinta Journals, DOAJ, EBSCO, Google Scholar and digital reference books. In previous studies, 1 relevant previous article was used to review each independent variable. The results of this literature review article are: 1) Brand Image affects Customer Satisfaction; 2) Service quality affects customer satisfaction; 3) Promotion affects customer satisfaction; 4) Price affects customer satisfaction; 5) Brand Image affects Consumer Loyalty; 6) Service Quality affects Consumer Loyalty; 7) Promotion has an effect on Consumer Loyalty; and 8) Price has an effect on Consumer Loyalty.

Abstract

Instructional media is a device that allows students to acquire information , knowledge , experience,  and  skill  in  teaching  and  learning    process.  The  problem  often  faced  by teachers in teaching is to choose appropriate instructional media in the learning process so  that  students  fully  understand  the  given  subject.  This  study  aimed  to  determine differences in cognitive learning outcomes of students after using gradual and thorough Nearpod  application  instructional  media  based  on  cognitive  load  theory  to  subject diversity of flora and fauna in Indonesia. This research is a quasi experimental factorial design with 2 × 1. Source of this study come from students , media specialists , and expert material obtained from the research questionnaire. Meanwhile learning outcomes data that is obtained through a pre-test and post-test .The results  based on the score of the student  post-test  shows  that  class  which  use  the  Nearpod  application  media    had  an average value of 90, better than class that use no instructional media which scored 74 so there  is  significant  differences  occurred  between  the  three  classesis  evidenced  in  the results of the Independent T Test results that have a Sig. 0,031 this suggests there is a difference , then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted . In other words, Nearpod application media influenced on student learning outcomes . Based on this study it is suggested that  the teacher can use a Nearpod application instructional media in teaching process

Abstract

This paper aims to explore and discuss the crucial impact of educator quality and competence on producing high-quality graduates by examining relevant literature and its application in existing research. Employing a qualitative methodology, including systematic literature review and content analysis, the study draws from literature sourced online concerning the variables under investigation. The analysis incorporates insights from fifteen scholarly articles, shedding light on the relationship between the quality of educators and graduates. Findings indicate that existing literature has been effectively integrated into the study's conclusions. The recommendations provided offer qualitative contributions to the field of education, particularly in education management. Future research can build on this work by examining the same variables using different methods and research contexts

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Map Puzzle learning method in order to improve students' spatial thinking and critical thinking skills. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a research design involving two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group will receive treatment in the form of applying map puzzle learning media in geography learning, while the control group will follow conventional learning without using media. The research subjects were students of SMP Cendikia class 9A with 30 students and 9B with 30 students. The instrument used to measure students' spatial thinking and critical thinking skills consists of 30 multiple choice questions. This test will be given before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying map puzzle media. The results showed that the application of the Map Puzzle method can significantly improve the spatial thinking and critical thinking skills of students. Learners are more actively involved in the learning process, and the use of map puzzles provides variations in learning methods that can motivate learners to think more critically and understand spatial concepts better. Map Puzzle learning media is effectively used as a learning strategy in developing spatial and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Model Case Based Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang berfokus pada analisis pemecahan masalah sehingga keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dapat ditingkatkan Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap model Case Based Learning berbantuan padlet terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI Fase F di SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya, 2) Untuk menganalisis hubungan model Case Based Learning berbantuan padlet terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI Fase F di SMA Negeri 21 Surabaya.Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Experiment. Teknik pengambilan sampling menggunakan Purposive Sampling karena dipilih berdasarkan rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif yang cenderung sama. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument tes berupa soal HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) untuk menguji keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan menggunakan instrument non-tes berupa angket untuk menganalisis respon siswa terhadap model Case Based Learning. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, dan Uji Non Parametrik Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 1.539 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 1.527 sehingga tingkat respon siswa berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis Uji Non Parametrik Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,311 > 0,05 sehingga tidak ada perbedaan nilai rata-rata antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dalam menerapkan model Case Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah membawa perubahan yang signifikan bagi dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam penyusunan bahan ajar. Namun, sebagian besar guru IPS khususnya geografi masih belum memahami secara optimal pemanfaatan AI untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara luring di Kabupaten Magetan dengan melibatkan 25 guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPS. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan literasi digital dan pemahaman guru terhadap teknologi AI; (2) memberikan keterampilan praktis dalam pemanfaatan perangkat dan platform berbasis AI untuk menyusun buku teks; dan (3) menghasilkan buku teks geografi yang inovatif, relevan, dan kontekstual. Melalui pendekatan pelatihan langsung, peserta dibimbing dalam mengakses, mengevaluasi, dan mengintegrasikan berbagai perangkat AI ke dalam proses pengembangan buku teks. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru IPS secara signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, integrasi teknologi AI dalam pembelajaran geografi tidak hanya memfasilitasi proses belajar mengajar yang lebih efisien, tetapi juga menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, kontekstual, Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pengembangan profesi guru berbasis teknologi yang dapat direplikasi di daerah lain.
