Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) dalam menghadapi Uji Kompetensi Pendidikan Profesi Guru (UKPPPG) cukup kompleks. Banyak peserta yang belum memahami secara mendalam prosedur, materi ujian, serta strategi pelaksanaan, sehingga menimbulkan rasa cemas dan kurang percaya diri. Rendahnya pemahaman teknis terkait penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, pembuatan video pembelajaran, dan laporan studi kasus juga menjadi hambatan utama. Kondisi ini berpotensi mengurangi tingkat kelulusan dan berdampak pada kualitas guru profesional di Indonesia. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kesiapan dan pengetahuan mahasiswa PPG dalam menghadapi UKPPPG melalui bimbingan teknis (bimtek) yang terstruktur. Mitra sasaran adalah mahasiswa PPG Guru Tertentu Tahap III Tahun 2025 bidang studi PGSD, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 52 orang. Metode pelaksanaan berupa bimtek daring melalui platform Zoom, yang mencakup ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan angket pretest-posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan peserta, dengan proporsi kategori “Baik” meningkat dari 50% menjadi 73,68% pada kelompok perempuan dan dari 64,28% menjadi 92,86% pada kelompok laki-laki. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa bimtek efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa PPG menghadapi UKPPPG

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam upaya kepala sekolah dalam menumbuhkembangkan karakter disiplin siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Banyumulek. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada bentuk strategi kepemimpinan, kebijakan sekolah, serta implementasi program yang berorientasi pada pembentukan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa yang dipilih secara purposif karena dianggap paling memahami konteks pelaksanaan program kedisiplinan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki peran strategis dalam menumbuhkan karakter disiplin siswa melalui enam bentuk upaya utama, yaitu: (1) kegiatan rutin dan pembiasaan positif, (2) keteladanan dalam perilaku, (3) integrasi nilai kedisiplinan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, (4) teguran, nasihat, dan pemberian motivasi, (5) kegiatan literasi keagamaan berupa program mengaji, serta (6) penerapan budaya 3S (senyum, sapa, salam). Faktor pendukung mencakup tersedianya sarana prasarana memadai, kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya disiplin, serta komitmen sumber daya manusia di sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambat meliputi pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan pola asuh keluarga yang kurang mendukung. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat kajian kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berbasis karakter di sekolah dasar. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian dapat menjadi rujukan bagi kepala sekolah dan guru dalam merancang kebijakan pembiasaan disiplin yang berkelanjutan serta menumbuhkan budaya sekolah yang positif dan religius. This study aims to describe in depth the efforts of the principal in fostering and developing students’ disciplinary character at SD Negeri 1 Banyumulek. The focus of the research is directed toward the forms of leadership strategies, school policies, and the implementation of programs oriented toward cultivating students’ disciplinary values. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving the principal, teachers, and students who were purposively selected because they were considered to have the most comprehensive understanding of the discipline-related programs. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the principal plays a strategic role in fostering students’ disciplinary character through six main efforts: (1) routine activities and positive habituation, (2) role modeling in daily behavior, (3) integrating disciplinary values into learning activities, (4) providing admonitions, guidance, and motivation, (5) implementing religious literacy activities such as Qur’an recitation programs, and (6) applying the 3S culture (smile, greet, and salute). Supporting factors include the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure, students’ awareness of the importance of discipline, and the commitment of school human resources. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors involve social environmental influences and family upbringing that do not adequately support discipline. Theoretically, this study contributes to strengthening the discourse on character-based school principal leadership in elementary schools. Practically, the findings may serve as a reference for principals and teachers in designing sustainable discipline habituation policies and in fostering a positive and religious school culture.

Abstract

Early reading difficulties are a fundamental issue that impacts the readiness and development of basic literacy in elementary school students, particularly in grade one. Students' inability to master early reading skills can hinder their achievement of competencies in subsequent learning stages. This study aims to examine in depth the various learning strategies teachers implement to overcome early reading barriers using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The study was conducted by searching for scientific articles published between 2015 and 2025 obtained from Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Scopus databases. Source selection was based on strict inclusion criteria and followed the PRISMA selection process to ensure data accuracy and reliability. The analysis results indicate that effective learning strategies include the systematic application of phonics methods, the use of multisensory media such as letter cards, pictures, and flannel, the provision of individual guidance for students experiencing specific difficulties and strengthening collaboration between teachers and parents to support the learning process at home. These findings emphasize the importance of adaptive, diagnostic, and sustainable learning strategies in overcoming early reading difficulties. This study recommends developing interactive technology-based learning models and increasing synergy between schools and parents to strengthen early literacy skills in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji secara sistematis persepsi siswa dan guru terhadap intervensi pembelajaran sosial emosional (Social Emotional Learning/SEL) pada siswa sekolah dasar dengan hambatan perhatian. Kajian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengacu pada pedoman PRISMA untuk memastikan keterlacakan dan transparansi proses seleksi data. Sumber literatur diperoleh dari basis data bereputasi internasional, yakni Scopus, DOAJ, dan Google Scholar, dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2015–2025. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian secara konsisten mendukung efektivitas program SEL dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial-emosional siswa, meliputi pengenalan diri, regulasi emosi, serta kemampuan membangun hubungan sosial positif. Peningkatan tersebut berkontribusi signifikan terhadap keterlibatan belajar dan capaian akademik siswa dengan hambatan perhatian. Penelitian terkini juga menyoroti pentingnya kompetensi sosial-emosional guru dalam memperkuat dampak intervensi, serta menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis budaya dan dukungan sebaya mampu menumbuhkan persepsi positif dari peserta didik. Temuan ini menegaskan peran strategis SEL sebagai intervensi yang adaptif, inklusif, dan efektif dalam mendukung kesejahteraan emosional serta keberhasilan akademik siswa. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengembangkan model intervensi sosial-emosional adaptif berbasis persepsi ganda guru dan siswa dengan mempertimbangkan konteks budaya serta dinamika sekolah melalui desain longitudinal dan multimetode agar hasilnya lebih komprehensif dan aplikatif.

Abstract

Pembentukan karakter peserta didik merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan nasional. Penanaman karakter dan pembiasaan perilaku positif sejak dini merupakan bagian penting dari tujuan pendidikan nasional sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional. Salah satu strategi yang dapat ditempuh adalah melalui pembiasaan perilaku sehari-hari yang mendukung kesehatan jasmani, spiritualitas, disiplin, serta kepedulian sosial. Artikel ini mengkaji tantangan pelaksanaan 7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat (bangun pagi, beribadah, berolahraga, makan sehat dan bergizi, gemar belajar, bermasyarakat, dan tidur cepat) menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari telaah literatur, wawancara dengan guru, dan orang tua, serta observasi terbatas di lingkungan sekolah dan rumah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan kebiasaan tersebut masih menghadapi kendala, antara lain: kebiasaan peserta didik menggunakan gawai hingga larut malam, kurangnya teladan orang tua dalam ibadah, minimnya fasilitas olahraga, rendahnya motivasi belajar, menurunnya interaksi sosial akibat individualisme digital, serta kurangnya keterlibatan keluarga maupun masyarakat dalam membiasakan perilaku positif. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan pembiasaan 7 kebiasaan memerlukan kolaborasi antara keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat dengan dukungan lingkungan yang konsisten.

Abstract

This study looks into how different teaching methods are used in mixed-ability elementary school classrooms and how these methods affect how motivated students feel and how well they learn. Different teaching methods are seen as a great way to help students with different skills, especially in classrooms where students come from various backgrounds and have different needs. The research involved a Systematic Literature Review, using information from Google Scholar and Scopus, and focusing on articles published from 2017 to 2023. The findings show that using these different teaching methods can boost student motivation since it gives them learning experiences that fit their personal skills better. This personalized learning also leads to better learning results in mixed-ability classrooms. Still, there are some problems with using these methods, like not having enough time, resources, and teachers being ready to use this approach properly. This study highlights how important it is for teachers to get training and support from schools to make the use of different teaching methods in mixed-ability classrooms work better. This research is meant to help create more inclusive learning that meets the needs of students in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has brought profound transformations to the field of education, particularly in elementary schools. Learning in the digital era requires continuous innovation to ensure that teaching practices remain relevant and effective. Elementary schools play a crucial role in preparing students to adapt to technological developments by integrating digital tools into classroom activities. Teachers are now expected to utilize technology to create learning experiences that are more interactive, engaging, and meaningful. This study aims to analyze the impact of technology-based learning media on students’ conceptual understanding in elementary education. The research adopts a descriptive analytical approach through a comprehensive review of relevant studies and theoretical frameworks concerning technology integration in learning. The results show that digital learning media significantly improve students’ motivation, participation, and comprehension of abstract concepts. Visual and interactive media—such as educational applications, animations, and digital simulations—enable students to connect prior knowledge with new information, fostering deeper conceptual understanding. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, lack of teacher readiness, and the persistence of conventional teaching methods in many schools. Addressing these challenges requires systematic efforts to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy, provide adequate facilities, and design creative, student-centered learning media. The findings of this study are expected to contribute theoretically to the discourse on technology integration in primary education and practically to guide teachers in implementing effective digital-based learning strategies. This strategy has been proven to be able to generate creative ideas, increase the courage This study aims to analyze the strategies of elementary school teachers in fostering student creativity through the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL). Creativity is an essential 21st-century skill that needs to be developed from the elementary education level, but learning practices in elementary schools still tend to be oriented towards memorization and cognitive achievement. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with three teachers and fifteen students selected through purposive sampling in one elementary school. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation studies, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that teachers apply four main strategies, namely: (1to express opinions, and foster students' self-confidence in their work. These findings confirm the importance of the teacher's role as a facilitator of creative learning and strengthen the results of previous research on the effectiveness of PjBL, by adding a new contribution in the form of details of teachers' pedagogical strategies in the elementary school context.Kata Kunci: creativity, teacher strategies, elementary schools, project-based learning
