Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of facilities, employee empowerment, and job satisfaction on employee performance in the E-Government Implementation Division of the Batam City Communication and Informatics Office. In this investigation, employee performance is the dependent variable, while facilities, employee empowerment, and job satisfaction are independent variables. The research method is a descriptive, quantitative approach, with a population of 97 employees, all of whom were respondents via census methods. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability; all items are declared valid with r count > r table (0.1829) and significance <0.05, and all variables have Cronbach's Alpha values ​​above 0.60, namely facilities (0.832), employee empowerment (0.837), job satisfaction (0.873), and employee performance (0.782). The results of multiple linear regression analysis show the equation Y = 2.829 + 0.193X₁ + 0.451X₂ + 0.218X₃. The t-tests for each independent variable indicate a positive, significant effect on employee performance. In contrast, the F-test shows that all three variables have a significant simultaneous influence, with F = 42.386 > F table (2.72). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.594 indicates that these three variables explain 59.4% of the variation in employee performance. This study concludes that improving facilities, employee empowerment, and job satisfaction significantly optimize employee performance at the Batam City Communication and Informatics Office.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of work communication, work motivation, and work discipline on employee performance at PT. Atreo Amnyntas Mubarak Batam. The study's background emphasises the importance of enhancing employee performance as a critical factor in organisational performance, particularly in addressing the challenges posed by competitive dynamics and evolving work environments. This research employs a quantitative methodology utilising a survey instrument targeting employees as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, and then analysed using multiple linear regression. The study's results indicate that partial work communication, work motivation, and work discipline have significant effects on employee performance. In addition, the results of simultaneous tests prove that work communication, work motivation, and work discipline together have a substantial effect on employee performance at PT. Atreo Amnyntas Mubarak Batam. These findings indicate that improving employee performance can be achieved through effective work communication management, continuous motivation, and consistent work discipline. At the same time, this study is anticipated to make theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management research and to make practical contributions to the company's management in formulating policies to improve employee performance.

Abstract

Junior high school students' writing creativity is often limited by the materials and approaches used in teaching materials. Contextual materials integrated with local wisdom can provide meaningful learning experiences. This study used a research and development model (preliminary research, prototyping, assessment) to design a contextual-based textbook containing local cultural values. The study participants included 34 students in the experimental class, 32 students in the control class, and 3 expert validators. Data were collected through validation, observation, questionnaires, and a pretest-posttest creativity test. The textbook achieved high validity (90.63%), with implementation in the classroom rated very good (mean score 4.77). Writing creativity increased significantly in the experimental group compared to the control group (t = 7.049; p < 0.05), with a higher N-Gain (0.64 vs. 0.36). Practicality scores from students (84.51%) and teachers were also high. Conclusion: Contextual-based textbooks that integrate local cultural wisdom are valid, practical, and effective in improving students' creativity in writing narrative essays.

Abstract

Limbah atau sampah merupakan hal serius yang perlu ditangani. Salah satu hasil limbah rumah tangga adalah cangkang telur. Cangkang telur merupakan limbah organik yang kandungannya mempunyai banyak khasiat. Salah satu diantaranya dapat memberikan kesuburan pada tanah. Maka tujuan dari Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat adalah memanfaatkan limbah organik berupa cangkang telur menjadi pupuk cangkang telur. Pupuk ini dapat diaplikasikan dalam keadaan kering atau basah. Metode yang dilakukan adalah ceramah dan demonstrasi. Mitra yang hadir pada program ini adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga sebanyak 21 orang. Hasil dari Pre-Test dan Post-Test menunjukkan bahwa mitra telah mengalami perubahan pengetahuan ke arah yang lebih positif. Sehingga diharapkan mitra dapat melakukan proses pembuatan pupuk cangkang telur secara mandiri. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kebanyakan mitra menilai atas pelaksanaan program PkM ini dengan positif. Mitra akan mengikuti program yang sama apabila diadakan lagi dengan berbagai tema lainnya, Selama pelaksanaan PkM ini mitra terlihat sangat antusias. Harapannya mitra dapat membuat sendiri pupuk cangkang telur dan memasarkannya secara bersama-sama. Sehingga dapat tercipta ekonomi sirkular yang dapat memberikan pendapatan tambahan pada masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Ruang lingkup penelitian ini adalah mengalisis prospek usaha penjualan Tahu Okta Gelelungi Kabupaten Aceh Tengah dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun yang akan datang. Responden/informan dalam penelitian ini adalah pemilik dan karyawan pabrik tahu Okta Gelelungi sebanyak 15 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode analisa data menggunakan least square method dengan rumus Y=a+bX. Hasil analisis data penelitian penjualan tahun 2019 sebesar Rp. 1.572.000.000, tahun 2020 sebesar Rp Rp. 1.296.000.000, tahun 2021 sebesar Rp 1.602.000.000, tahun 2022 sebesar Rp. 2.584.800.000, dan pada tahun 2023 sebesar 3.061.200.000. Hasil pembahasan yang diperoleh dari persamaan Y = Rp. 2.023.200.000 + Rp. 426.720.000x, menujukan bahwa penjualan Tahu Okta Gelelungi memiliki nilai penjualan tetap (konstanta) sebesar Rp. 2.023.200.000 dan nilai perubahan penjualan (koefisien) b > 0 atau positif yaitu sebesar Rp. 426.720.000. Hasil perkiraan penjualan Tahu Okta Gelelungi menggunakan metode least square method (kuadran terkecil) pada tahun 2024 sebesar Rp. 3.303.360.000. Tahun 2025 sebesar Rp. 3.730.080.000. Tahun 2026 sebesar Rp. 4.156.800.000. Tahun 2027 sebesar Rp. 4.583.520.000. Dan Perkiraan penjualan tahu pada tahun 2028 adalah sebesar Rp. 5.010.240.000.

Abstract

Purpose. This study aims to analyze the effect of innovative behavior, skills, and communication on the academic achievement of Management Study Program students in Batam City. Academic achievement represents an important indicator of students’ learning outcomes and reflects their ability to understand and apply knowledge gained during the educational process. Various individual competencies may contribute to students’ academic performance, including their capacity to generate innovative ideas, develop learning-related skills, and communicate effectively in academic environments. Innovative behavior encourages students to explore creative approaches in solving academic problems, while skills support students in managing learning activities and academic responsibilities. Communication competence also facilitates interaction, discussion, and collaboration in the learning process. Therefore, understanding the role of these factors is important for improving students’ academic achievement in higher education. Materials and methods. This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design using a survey method. The population consisted of Management Study Program students in Batam City, with a total sample of 98 respondents selected for the study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured with a five-point Likert scale. The research instrument was first tested for validity and reliability to ensure accurate and consistent measurements. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26. Several statistical procedures were applied, including classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was carried out using t-tests to determine partial effects, an F-test to examine the simultaneous influence of the independent variables, and the coefficient of determination (R²) to evaluate the explanatory power of the regression model. Results. The findings show that innovative behavior has a positive and statistically significant effect on students’ academic achievement (Sig.=0.000). Skills also demonstrate a positive and significant influence on academic achievement (Sig.=0.002). In contrast, communication does not show a statistically significant effect on academic achievement (Sig.=0.137). The simultaneous analysis indicates that innovative behavior, skills, and communication collectively have a significant influence on academic achievement (F-test Sig.=0.000). The regression model also shows a high explanatory power with a coefficient of determination (R² = 0.921), indicating that approximately 92.1% of the variation in students’ academic achievement can be explained by the independent variables included in the model. Conclusions. The results highlight the importance of innovative behavior and learning-related skills in improving students’ academic achievement. Although communication did not demonstrate a significant effect in this study, it remains an important element that supports interaction and collaboration in academic environments. Higher education institutions are therefore encouraged to develop learning strategies that promote creativity, skill development, and active participation in order to enhance students’ academic performance.

Abstract

Trust, networks, and institutions as local wisdom in villages are often overlooked, even though local wisdom is social capital that plays a role in bridging the performance of village-owned enterprises or BUMDes in empowering the village community's economy. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of trust, networks, and institutions, as well as BUMDes performance on the economic empowerment of village communities. The Cluster Sampling technique was used to determine the sample and obtained a sample of 194 as well as being used as a research sample from 30 BUMDes spread across West Sumatra Province that had complete reports to the relevant agencies, then the questionnaire was distributed to supervisors, BUMDes directors, BUMDes employees, and BUMDes customer communities and the questionnaire was assessed using a circle scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software (version 25), then instrument testing consisting of validity and reliability testing using Smart-PLS software. The results of the study showed a direct positive effect of trust and network variables on BUMDes performance, and the influence of BUMDes performance on community economic empowerment. Institutions do not have a significant influence on BUMDes performance, but have a significant influence on community economic empowerment. The novelty of this research is to investigate the influence of social capital and BUMDes performance on community economic empowerment. The research implications expand the theory of social capital that positively influences the growth of BUMDes performance and has practical impacts for policy makers in increasing rural economic empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen kearsipan di STIE YPUP Makassar dan dampaknya terhadap efisiensi kerja pegawai. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah dominasi pengelolaan arsip secara manual, penumpukan data karena tidak adanya prosedur pemusnahan, serta keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi kearsipan saat ini menghambat kecepatan akses informasi. Optimalisasi perlu dilakukan melalui digitalisasi arsip, penerapan jadwal retensi arsip, dan pengadaan fasilitas pendukung guna menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih efisien.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja, loyalitas kerja, dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Batindo Tata Sentosa Kota Batam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan asosiatif, dengan populasi sebanyak 75 karyawan yang seluruhnya dijadikan responden melalui teknik sensus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh instrumen valid dan reliabel, serta diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 0,057 + 0,800X1 - 0,099X2 + 0,300X3. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,864 menunjukkan bahwa 86,4% variasi kinerja karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh kepuasan kerja, loyalitas kerja, dan disiplin kerja, sedangkan sisanya 13,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil uji parsial (uji t) menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja (t = 20,208; sig = 0,000), loyalitas kerja (t = 9,165; sig = 0,000), dan disiplin kerja (t = 12,209; sig = 0,000) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil uji simultan (uji F) menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung sebesar 188,310 lebih besar dari Ftabel 2,83 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga seluruh variabel independen secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dengan demikian, kepuasan kerja menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT. Batindo Tata Sentosa Kota Batam.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the effect of digital marketing, price, and promotion on tourist interest at PT. Safa Wisata Indonesia. This research is motivated by the increasing competition in the tourism industry and the shift in consumer behavior toward digital platforms, requiring companies to optimize their marketing strategies to attract tourist interest. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive and associative approach. The population consists of 250 respondents, with a sample of 71 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and selected through simple random sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results indicate that all research instruments are valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression analysis produces the equation Y = 1.376 + 0.232X1 + 0.427X2 + 0.259X3. The partial test (t-test) results show that digital marketing (t = 6.133; sig = 0.000), price (t = 8.028; sig = 0.000), and promotion (t = 7.628; sig = 0.000) have a significant effect on tourist interest. The simultaneous test (F-test) shows that the calculated F value of 31.165 is greater than the F table value of 2.98 with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on tourist interest. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.552, indicating that 55.2% of the variation in tourist interest can be explained by digital marketing, price, and promotion, while the remaining 44.8% is influenced by other variables outside this study. Therefore, it can be concluded that price is the most dominant variable influencing tourist interest, followed by promotion and digital marketing.
