Abstract

This study was motivated by low student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which are associated with the use of conventional teaching methods that are less engaging and make minimal use of technology-based media. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of using PowerPoint as an instructional medium in improving PAI learning outcomes among Grade VIII students at SMPN 4 Payakumbuh Subdistrict. A quantitative approach was employed using a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design involving 30 students as the sample. Data were collected through tests (pretest and posttest), questionnaires, and documentation, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Product Moment correlation. The results showed an increase in the average learning outcome score from 62.50 in the pretest to 78.16 in the posttest. The correlation test produced an r value of 0.402, which was higher than the r table value of 0.361 (p < 0.05), indicating that the use of PowerPoint media was effective in improving PAI learning outcomes. These findings underscore the importance of integrating multimedia technology into religious education to enhance student engagement, motivation, and learning achievement at the junior secondary school level.

Abstract

Shidiq is a part of akhlaq that has a major role to be in harmony with other akhlaq. If a person does not have akhlaq shidiq then a person will find it difficult in social life and difficult to be trusted by others. This study uses the content analysis method to obtain data on shidiq values in the novel As empty as a cadaveric soul. by Ita Fajria Tamim with Rayya as a sample. The instrument in this study is a human instrument or own research. The data collection techniques used are coding sheets and literature studies. The technique of analyzing data in this study is to fill in the coding sheet according to the measurement tools that have been set, conduct validity tests, and compile data in units of analysis so that it can be categorized and interpreted to conclude the study. It can be concluded from this research that in the novel Sekosong Jiwa Kadaver by Ita Fajria Tamim, it has been found indeed there is the true value of will, the true value of words, the true value of promises, and the true value of relationships. and no true value of reality is found in it.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the increasing number of students arriving late to school, particularly in the memorization program of short surahs from the Al-Qur'an, which is a strategy used by teachers to enhance student discipline. The aim of this study is to explore education that shapes character and discipline among students at SMA Negeri 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Indonesia, with an emphasis on the memorization program of short surahs from the Al-Qur'an. Through this program, it is hoped that students who are late can hone their knowledge not only in intellectual aspects but also in the spiritual field. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, involving the principal, teachers, and students as participants. This study employs a case study approach and applies literature review methods, observation, interviews, and documentation, which are then analyzed to draw conclusions. The results indicate that: 1) The level of discipline at the school is already good, supported by the Al-Qur'an memorization program conducted daily; 2) The strategies implemented by teachers to enhance student discipline, particularly for those arriving late, include direct interaction and the obligation to memorize surahs before entering the classroom; 3) This study also identifies the factors that support and hinder the implementation of these strategies, both from internal and external factors. The main conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of teacher strategies in improving student discipline through the memorization program of short surahs from the Al-Qur'an for late students. This approach not only sharpens intellectual abilities but also spiritual ones, within the discipline system to promote behavioral change in students and create a better learning environment. The implications of this research indicate that students participating in the memorization program of short surahs from the Al-Qur'an not only improve their discipline but can also use this program as a tool to build character and spirituality. Furthermore, the approach used by teachers to address student tardiness can serve as an example for other schools in creating a more disciplined learning environment and supporting the overall development of students.

Abstract

Moral education plays an important role in life to realize the personality and noble character of each individual. Without good morals, a person can harm themselves and others. The emergence of the animation Nussa and Rara is regarded as providing good education for children. This study used content analysis methods to obtain data regarding the values of moral education for children, specifically morals towards Allah Swt. and morals towards oneself, using the episode “Kamu… Antta” as a sample. The instrument in this study is the human instrument, and data collection techniques were carried out through coding sheets and literature studies. The data analysis techniques used include filling in the coding sheets according to the established measuring tools, validity testing, and organizing data into units of analysis so that it can be categorized and interpreted to draw conclusions from the research. The results of the study indicate that in the animation Nussa and Rara, there are values of moral education towards Allah Swt. and morals towards oneself.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the weak application of religious values in students’ daily lives, as reflected in a lack of respect for parents, teachers, and peers, as well as low environmental awareness. One effort to foster moral development is through the wirid remaja program. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of wirid remaja implementation on the akhlakul karimah (noble character) of students at SMAN 2 Sungai Limau. Wirid remaja is a bi-monthly activity that includes congregational zuhr prayer, dhikr, istighasah, supplication, and thematic sermons tailored to moral development needs. A quantitative method with a correlational design and simple linear regression analysis was used. The sample consisted of 82 Grade X and XI students selected through simple random sampling from a total population of 416. Research instruments included questionnaires measuring wirid remaja (X) and akhlakul karimah (Y), with data analysis covering normality, linearity, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 20. The findings show a significant influence of wirid remaja on students’ moral character, with a calculated t-value (0.0329) exceeding the critical t-value (0.03008), and a significance level of 0.003 < 0.005. Although the correlation is relatively low (r = 0.329), the wirid remaja program has been proven to contribute to character formation. These results highlight the importance of sustained involvement from Islamic Education and Character Education teachers in supervising and developing wirid remaja as a strategic component of character education.

Abstract

Congregational prayer is a prayer performed by two or more people, one of whom is the imam and the other is the congregation with the terms and conditions of congregational prayer. Of the high class students, the majority are still unable to follow the imam's movements in carrying out congregational prayers, students are not yet orderly and regular in carrying out congregational prayers. This research aims to determine the implementation of congregational Zuhr prayers in shaping the disciplined character of high class students at SD Negeri 09 Ulakan Tapakis as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research includes qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the implementation of midday prayers in congregation in forming the disciplined character of high class students at SD Negeri 09 Ulakan Tapakis includes three activities, namely carrying out ablutions guided by PAI teachers, carrying out midday prayers in congregation at school carried out by students, after carrying out midday prayers in congregation with teachers. provide advice and direction regarding prayer movements to students. From the implementation of the congregational Zuhr prayer, it is carried out with the students' self-awareness so that it can form the disciplined character of the students. Supporting factors for the congregational Zuhr prayer include students being accustomed to carrying out religious activities at school, the school providing prayer mats and mukenas, all teachers and students taking care of it. cleanliness of facilities for carrying out congregational Zuhr prayers. The inhibiting factors are inadequate school facilities, inadequate teacher management and supervision of students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of legal sanctions against soldiers of Kodim 0304/Agam involved in online gambling crimes and to examine the legal mechanisms used in handling such cases within the framework of military law enforcement. The increasing involvement of military personnel in cyber-based gambling activities has raised concerns regarding legal accountability, military discipline, and institutional integrity. This research employs an empirical legal research method with a qualitative approach through field research, document analysis, and the examination of relevant legal regulations governing military and criminal law. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and supporting legal documents related to the implementation of sanctions for military personnel involved in online gambling activities. The findings indicate that soldiers involved in online gambling crimes are subject not only to criminal sanctions under applicable laws but also to disciplinary sanctions and administrative measures under the military justice system. The imposition of sanctions is influenced by the nature of the offense, the degree of involvement, and institutional considerations related to maintaining military discipline and public trust. The study finds that legal enforcement in military institutions prioritizes both punitive and corrective dimensions to preserve professional conduct among soldiers. This study concludes that the application of legal sanctions against soldiers involved in online gambling requires an integrated legal approach combining criminal responsibility and military disciplinary principles. The academic contribution of this research lies in expanding the discourse on military criminal law and providing a contextual understanding of legal accountability for online gambling offenses within military institutions.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the Family Hope Program (PKH) on the financial well-being of households in Luwu Utara Regency, with a focus on the role of facilitators as a moderating variable. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 PKH beneficiaries and analyzed using moderation regression analysis. The findings show that PKH significantly enhances household financial well-being, although the facilitators' role tends to weaken this effect. The study contributes to understanding the financial impact of PKH and highlights the need for improved facilitation to optimize program outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test and analyze the effects of Firm Size and Audit Committee on Firm Value, as well as the intervening effect of Audit Delay on the relationship among them. The sample consists of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023, with 15 companies experiencing financial reporting delays of over 90 days. This study uses a variance-based structural equation model (SEM-PLS). The results in this study show that Firm Size and Audit Committee have no effect on Firm Value. The results of this study also indicate that Audit Delay mediates the relationship between Firm Size and Firm Value, but it does not mediate the relationship between Audit Committee and Firm Value.
