Abstract

This writing aims to gain the picture of profile in using of demographic bonus through increasing Human Development Index in the North Sumatra Province. It focus on local policy in utilizing the demographic bonus through elevating Human Development Index on several sectors such as education, health, and economy. Education sector coverage two indicators following Adult Literacy Rate Index (Lit) and Mean Years of Schooling Index (MYS). The population in this research is the citizen’s age group of 15 and more due to in fact that there many student dropout from the age group. The limitation is required for gain the representative number which is represents the fact, considering that citizen age group lower than 15 is still in schooling or preparing to school so it not apropriate to relying the years of schooling. Health sector indicate the numbers of years of life which  is hopefully can be enjoyed by the citizens in an area by entering information regarding annual birth rate and death rate (variable e₀), that assumed represents average of age of life and citizen healthy in their life. Economic sector (Proper Life Standard), the profile uses the average of the real per capita expenditure which is adjusted (adjusted real per capita expenditure) or purchasing power parity. Based on study of the three of human development index, can be obtained the data concerning the factual picture of local government profile in utilizing demographic bonus.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum berorientasi KKNI di FIS UNIMED. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu: Validator ahli sebanyak 5 yang terdiri dari: (1) ahli desain kurikulum; (2) ahli IPS; (3) ahli Geografi; (4) ahli PKn; dan (5) ahli Antropologi. Metode Penelitian dalam peneitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D). Prosedur pengembangan yang akan ditempuh untuk menghasilkan produk model kurikulum berorientasi KKNI di FIS UNIMED dibagi menjadi empat tahapan, yaitu: (1) analisis pendahuluan, (2) pengembangan produk, (3) validasi produk, dan (4) uji kelayakan produk. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berorientasi KKNI yang dikembangkan pada penelitian ini sangat layak diterapkan di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Universitas Negeri Medan. Hal tersebut dikarenakan Kurikulum berorientasi KKNI yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi standar nasional dan tujuan pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman dalam pembuatan perangkat perkuliahan berupa Rencana Perkuliahan Semester.

Abstract

This study aims to develop butterfly metemorposa teaching materials andPAUD children's activity sheets. This type of research is research and development usingthe van den akker model. The results of this study indicate that the validation of textbooksand children's activities is very good and the children's understanding of butterflymetamorphosis teaching material has increased. This can be seen through initial tests andfinal tests. in the initial test of the country of Trustees 2 there were 22 children or 62.85%in the sufficient category. After the initial test carried out computer-assisted engineeringlearning and using textbooks and child activity sheets developed by researchers, the finaltest results obtained by the Trustees 2 Public PAUD were 25 or 71.42% of children or665.72% and Pembina 3 PAUD of 25 children or 78.13% fulfill the permendiknamandate 58 of 2009, from this result there is an increase for PAUD Pembina 2 by 30%while Negeri Pembina 3 PAUD increases by 35%. So that the impact of using textbooksand child activity sheets and computer-assisted engineering learning can improvechildren's learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to study social competency character growers in elementary school 060870 East Medan, analyzing how the planting of social competency characters is influential in elementary school 060870 East Medan. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. The data analyzed were interviews with teachers, students, principals of SDN 060870, observations, and documentation. The results showed that: the planting of social competencies in the 2013 curriculum was carried out well. There are 2 aspects seen in the character of social competence, namely; first, interaction behavior, which has 4 characteristics contained therein; second, communication behavior which has 3 characteristics contained therein. Therefore, it is concluded that the planting of the character of social competence in SDN 060870 is carried out properly and in accordance with the required categories.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the purpose of education to obtain good learning outcomes. Such success depends on internal and external factors, as one part of the internal factor is problem solving skills. The existence of problem-solving skills students can more easily overcome problems encountered when learning or designed by teachers. The purpose of this study was to find out the comparison of students' PPKn learning outcomes between the Discovery Learning model and the Think Pair and Share model, also to find out the comparison of PPKn learning outcomes of students who have high problem solving skills with students who have low problem solving skills, and also to know the interaction between the learning model and problem solving skills to the learning outcomes of PPKn students in grade IV of Diski Catholic Elementary School. This study using quantitative approach with the results of the study showed that the results of ppkn students with Discovery Learning model is higher than the learning results of PPKn students with Think Pair and Share model, evidenced from Qhitung > Qtabel (4,344 > 2,814; with a level of 5%). PPKn learning outcomes of students who have high problem-solving skills are higher than ppkn learning outcomes of students who have low problem-solving skills, as evidenced by Qhitung > Qtabel (3,030 > 2,814; with a level of 5%). There is an interaction between learning models and problem-solving skills to students' PPKn learning outcomes, as evidenced by Fhitung > Ftabel which is 8.59 > 4.20. The conclusion of this study explains that the learning outcomes of students who have high and low skills are more suitable to be taught with discovery learning models than students who are taught using the Think Pair Share model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of Project Citizen learning model is higher compare to Conventional learning model; (2) PPKn learning outcomes of students who have higher nationality competencies compared to students who have low citizenship competencies (3) interactions between Project Citizen learning models and citizenship competencies in influencing student PPKn learning outcomes. Quasi Experimental Design research with factorial 2x2. The instruments used are PPKn learning results test and citizenship competency instrument. Data analysis using two-lane anava. The results showed: There is an influence of Project Citizen learning model on the learning outcomes of PPKn students in grade VII of SMP Pahlawan Nasional Medan. PPKn learning outcomes of students who have higher nationality competencies than students who have low citizenship competencies. There is an interaction between the learning model of Project Citizen and Citizenship Competency towards the learning outcomes of PPKn Students at Pahlwan National Junior High School Medan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the factual condition of the occurrence of a moral crisis among Indonesia's young generation, including the weak culture of the main character values. This development research was aimed to develop moral intelligence-based Citizenship Education learning as a systemic program for the culture of the main character values. The scope of this research was limited to the study of civics learning based on moral intelligence as a systemic program of cultivating character values among students. The research method was used by the Research & Development. The research subjects involved: (1) a lecturer who taught introduction courses of civics; (2) students is limited group trials as subject; and (3) three experts for the validation of teaching materials who had criteria for Citizenship Education experts including: politics, law, and moral philosophy. The instrument was used an expert validation questionnaire which was analyzed using the Percentage Mean Score (PRS). The results of the research showed that civics learning textbook based on intelligent moral that developed was very valid and suitable for being used and giving contribution on the strengthen of character for students in their scope life in global era that full of change and value paradoxes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of NHT assisted media model and learning motivation on learning outcomes of citizenship education. This research will be implemented in 5th grade of Primary School at SD IT Tahfizhil Quran YIC SU, which is located at Jalan Haji Hospital. This school has an "A" accreditation. The research activities were carried out in the first semester of the 2018-2019 Academic Year, setting the research schedule according to the schedule set by the school principal. The subject matter selected in this study is "Diversity" which is the material in the class IV syllabus that is being studied in the semester.

Abstract

Community service activities generally aim to develop character in developing the potential of students who have intelligence, personality and noble character. Through this activity to assist teachers in 104202 Bandar Setia Elementary School, Percut Sei District, Deli Serdang District in carrying out character-based authentic assessments. The model applied in the implementation of Community Service is carried out in several stages, namely: First, the stage of preparation with activities, (a) conducting socialization to teachers; (b) carrying out observations and interviews; (c) determining the schedule of activities; and (d) preparing facilities and infrastructure. Second, the implementation phase through, (a) Focus Group Discussion (FGD); (b) training and education for the preparation of authentic assessment instruments; and (c) assisting in the application of character-based authentic assessments. Third, the evaluation and reflection phase is an assessment of attitudes, skills and knowledge. Through this activity the teacher has character-based authentic assessment guidelines and the formation of the Teacher Working Group (KKG)

Abstract

This research is a type of evaluation research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The evaluation model used is the Stake Countenance Model. The subjects of this study were all teachers in Public Elementary School 101775 Sampali, Deli Serdang Regency with a total of 12 teachers. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. In analyzing data using descriptive methods. From the results of research conducted on the evaluation of the implementation of authentic assessment in Public Elementary School 101775 Sampali Deli Serdang Regency with a stake count maintenance evaluation model of 90.39%. This is evidenced from the three stages of stakeholder evaluation in the implementation of authentic assessment which consists of an input phase (Antecedents phase) which is evaluated consisting of analysis of learning documents, attitude assessment documents, knowledge assessment documents and skills assessment very well complete with a percentage of 89.46% . In the transaction phase that was evaluated, namely how the authentic assessment carried out by the teachers at Public Elementary School 101775 Sampali was carried out very well with a percentage of 90.71%. In the evaluated outcome phase which is the reporting of student learning outcomes and teacher understanding of the implementation of authentic assessment in schools has been going very well with a percentage of 91%. The next suggestion for the implementation of authentic assessment is continuously monitored so that the teacher's understanding of the implementation of authentic assessment can be carried out properly.
