Abstract

The learning system is a structure and process used in delivering material in the form of knowledge, skills, and morals to students. The learning system is an effort made by educators to shape the character and insight of students in the learning process. The learning system is closely related to the understanding of the material. The research method used is qualitative, involving data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The data collected is then analyzed inductively by identifying patterns, themes, and concepts that emerge from the data. The purpose of this literature is to determine the effect of the learning system on students' understanding of the material. The results of this study indicate that the learning system implemented by MAN 1 Medan School is good, but some students are not yet compatible with the existing learning system. The learning system that is set greatly influences the understanding of the material absorbed by students. The implications of this study are expected that teachers can first adjust the learning system to the abilities of their students

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the institutional management strategies implemented at the Al-Ikhram Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM). Using a qualitative approach, this research analyzes the management strategy at PKBM Al-Ikhram as a non-formal educational institution that focuses on community empowerment through the learning programs it provides. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with managers, direct observation regarding the management strategies that have been implemented. The results of the analysis show that PKBM Al-Ikhram has succeeded in implementing various institutional management strategies that support the effectiveness and sustainability of the institution. These strategies include human resource management, development of relevant curricula, use of information technology, as well as cross-sector collaboration efforts. In addition, challenges faced in implementing management strategies were also identified, such as limited resources and changes in educational policies.

Abstract

Health habbit development (healthy living habits) is healthy behavior that is carried out repeatedly without going through a thought process because this behavior is a response to something that is generally an everyday action. The aim of developing healthy habits is to improve the quality of life and individual well-being through implementing a healthy lifestyle. This coaching covers various aspects, such as a balanced diet, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management and personal hygiene. This research examines how health habits are fostered at the Vania Anak Indonesia Orphanage Jln. Captain M. Jamil Lubis, Medan Estate, Deli Serdang, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra 20371. The aim of this research is to find out what the healthy living habits of orphanage children at the Indonesian Vania Anak Orphanage are. This research uses a qualitative approach and a case study type of research. The subjects of the research were orphanage managers. This research data was collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data is processed by data reduction, data presentation, as well as conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the implementation of healthy living habits in Indonesian children's orphanages has not been implemented well, therefore the research team was present to provide guidance on health habits (Healthy Living Habits).

Abstract

This research examines problems in institutional management that cause low learning motivation among students at PKBM Permai. Motivation to learn is one form of success in the learning process. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive method with data collection through observation, namely making direct observations at PKBM Permai, then conducting in-depth interviews with heads of institutions, and documentation to record and maintain accurate and organized records about an event, process or information. certain. The findings reveal that one of the causes of low motivation to learn is due to age factors, inadequate facilities and infrastructure and tutors not being suitable in their field. This study also shows that tutors who are not suited to their field can cause problems, so there is a need for continuous professional development for tutors to improve the quality of education

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi manajemen pelatihan guru melalui penerapan struktur organisasi sekolah yang efektif, dengan fokus pada PAUD Dahlia Indah sebagai studi kasus. Dalam konteks pendidikan, kualitas pengajaran sangat dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan dan kompetensi guru, yang salah satunya dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan yang terorganisir dengan baik. Struktur organisasi sekolah yang jelas dan efektif menjadi faktor kunci dalam mendukung kelancaran dan keberhasilan pelatihan guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan observasional untuk mengamati praktik manajerial yang diterapkan di PAUD Dahlia Indah, serta menganalisis hubungan antara struktur organisasi yang ada dan efektivitas pelatihan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur organisasi yang jelas, dengan pembagian tugas yang tepat dan komunikasi yang efektif antar pengurus dan guru, dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan kinerja guru dalam mengikuti pelatihan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan model manajemen pelatihan yang lebih optimal di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini, serta memperkuat pentingnya peran struktur organisasi dalam mendukung perkembangan profesional guru.

Abstract

This study explores the management strategy of Sikkola Rakyat to increase student engagement in learning. Important issues related to student participation in Sikkola Rakyat are discussed, and an innovative model for an inclusive participatory management system is proposed. It is hoped that this model can make a major contribution to improving the quality of education by empowering students, strengthening community collaboration, and creating a more effective and sustainable learning atmosphere. The approach used in this study is qualitative with the Miles and Huberman model. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews. Observations were carried out directly at Sikkola Rakyat to see how education management takes place. Interviews were conducted with the Head of Education Division at Sikkola Rakyat and the Partnership Manager at Sikkola Rakyat Pusat at the Jalur Hijau learning house. The research findings indicate that Sikkola Rakyat implements student-focused learning strategies, including interactive methods, ice breaking, and giving small awards to motivate children. The decision-making process is internal but remains open to feedback from the community. Teaching methods are adjusted to the age of the child, and teaching materials are adapted according to the abilities of the students. Volunteers are trained through regular micro teaching as well as social observation and analysis stages. Although the facilities are limited, the learning atmosphere remains fun by using games, quizzes, prizes, and casual discussions. There are positive changes in children after they join Sikkola Rakyat, such as the implementation of the "3 magic words." Cooperation with the community and parents needs to be further strengthened. Overall, Sikkola Rakyat has successfully implemented participatory, responsive, and sustainable education strategies, as well as integrating learning, human resource development (volunteers), and community empowerment synergistically.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personality competence of ninth-grade teachers at SMP Negeri 23 Medan based on students' perceptions. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation and in-depth interviews involving nine purposively selected students. The findings reveal that most teachers demonstrated basic aspects of personality competence, such as punctuality and responsibility. However, several issues were identified, including emotional instability in handling classroom situations, favoritism, and the use of physical punishment as a disciplinary method. These findings indicate that teachers' personality competence still needs improvement, particularly in emotional regulation, fairness, and role modeling. The study recommends structured and continuous personality development programs for teachers to foster a positive classroom environment and support students' character development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan permasalahan peran pemerintah desa dalam pembinaan, pelayaan dan pengembangan pada kelompok tani desa Sukarame Baru Kecamatan Kualuh Hulu Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Uatra.Tujuan dalam  penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran pemerintah desa dalam pembinaan, pelayaan dan pengembangan pada kelompok tani desa Sukarame. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam  penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 88 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan tehnik random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi dilapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel peran pemerintah desa dalam pemeberdayaan kelompok tani dengan  indikator pelaksanaan kebijakan, pelaksanaan program-program dan pembinaan secara keseluruhan berada pada skor rata-rata 295 dengan kriteria yang tergolong tinggi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah Gambaran peran pemerintah desa dalam pemberdayaan kelompok tani menunjukkan bahwa kelompok tani desa Sukarame Baru adalah sebuah kelompok yang dapat dibergunakan dalam memajukan masyarakat desa Sukarame Baru serta adanya peran dari pemerintah desa sehingga mampu memfasilitasi apa saja yang dibutuhkan dalam membina, mengembangkan dan melayani kelompok tani

Abstract

Kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua menjadi salah satu faktor dalam terpenuhinya hak anak. Hak-hak anak yang harus terpenuhi terdapat empat hak yang pertama hak keberlangsungan hidup, hak tumbuh kembang, hak mendapatkan perlindungan, dan hak berpartisipasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi orangtua anak remaja awal, pemenuhan hak yang diterima oleh anak remaja awal dan bagaimana hubungan kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua dengan pemenuhan hak anak remaja awal usia 11-15 tahun di Dusun IX Desa Tembung. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 90 orang tua di Dusun IX Desa Tembung. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua di Dusun IX Desa Tembung tergolong pada kategori sedang, pemenuhan hak anak usia 11-15 tahun di Dusun IX Desa Tembung juga berada pada kategori sedang, dan kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap pemenuhan hak anak di Dusun IX Desa Tembung. Artinya semakin baik kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua maka semakin baik pula pemenuhan hak yang diterima oleh anak remaja awal (usia 11-15 tahun) di Dusun IX Desa Tembung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   This research aims to: (1) To determine the level of verbal violence among parents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency; (2) To determine the level of mental health of adolescents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency; (3) To determine the influence of verbal violence perpetrated by parents on the mental health of adolescents in Dolok Marlawan Village, Siantar District, Simalungun Regency.. The sampling method in this research used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa The determination value obtained was 69.22% while the remaining 30.78% (100% - 69.22%) was influenced and explained by other variables not included in this research.   ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kekerasan verbal orang tua di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun; (2) Untuk mengetahui tingkat kesehatan mental remaja di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun; (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kekerasan verbal yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap kesehatan mental remaja di Desa Dolok Marlawan Kecamatan Siantar Kabupaten Simalungun. Cara pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Diperoleh nilai determinasi yaitu 69,22% sedangkan sisanya 30,78% (100% - 69,22% ) dipengaruhi dan dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam penelitian ini.
