Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity, psychological well-being, and self-efficacy on the performance of employees at Java Heritage Hotel Purwokerto. The study used a quantitative approach with a causal design. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire administered to 107 employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 23. Data testing included validity, reliability, classical assumption testing, F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that job insecurity had a negative and significant effect on employee performance, indicating that job insecurity can reduce focus and work engagement. Conversely, psychological well-being had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, thus acting as an important psychological resource in supporting optimal performance. Meanwhile, self-efficacy had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job insecurity, psychological well-being, dan self-efficacy terhadap kinerja karyawan Java Heritage Hotel Purwokerto. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kausal. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert lima poin kepada 107 karyawan dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23. Pengujian data meliputi uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji F, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job insecurity berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, yang mengindikasikan bahwa ketidakamanan kerja dapat menurunkan fokus dan keterlibatan kerja. Sebaliknya, psychological well-being berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sehingga berperan sebagai sumber daya psikologis penting dalam mendukung kinerja optimal. Sementara itu, self-efficacy berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Rendahnya produktivitas budidaya ikan lele pada kelompok pembudidaya di Desa Rejotengah, Kecamatan Deket, Kabupaten Lamongan disebabkan oleh tingginya biaya pakan dan penurunan kualitas air kolam. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembudidaya dalam pembuatan serta penerapan probiotik perikanan berbasis bahan lokal sebagai upaya mendukung budidaya ikan lele organik. Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan pendekatan partisipatif, yang dilaksanakan melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan probiotik, serta pendampingan aplikasi probiotik pada pakan dan media budidaya. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 30 anggota kelompok pembudidaya ikan (Pokdakkan). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas mitra, di mana 80 % peserta mampu membuat dan menerapkan probiotik secara mandiri, serta 86,67 % peserta memahami aplikasi probiotik pada pakan dan air kolam. Simpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan pembuatan probiotik berbasis bahan lokal efektif dalam meningkatkan kemandirian pembudidaya serta berpotensi mendukung budidaya ikan lele yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to analyze the influence of Communication, Work Ethic, Quality of Work Life (QWL), and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Employee Performance at Hotel Java Heritage Purwokerto. This research was conducted to address performance inconsistencies, communication gaps, and unstable work outcomes, indicating the need to explore internal factors affecting employee productivity.Methods: A quantitative approach using accidental sampling was applied, involving 105 employees as respondents. Data were collected offline through a questionnaire containing 34 indicator items. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) version 3.0.Results: The findings reveal that Communication and OCB have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Work Ethic shows a positive but non-significant effect, while QWL shows a negative but non-significant effect. These results indicate that strong communication and appropriate extra-role behavior can enhance performance, whereas work ethic and QWL do not directly improve employee outcomes.Conclusion and suggestion: This study highlights the importance of strengthening communication channels and supporting constructive OCB to improve performance. Although Work Ethic and QWL do not show significant effects, they remain relevant and require attention through training, motivation, and work environment enhancement. Future research is recommended to increase the sample size, include multiple hotels, and add moderating variables such as job satisfaction or leadership style to achieve a more comprehensive understanding of performance determinants. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, leadership style, work environment, and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Banyumas Regency. This research employs a quantitative method with primary data collection through a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling with a population of 91 employees, resulting in a sample of 90 employees, excluding the Head of Department due to their different structural role. Data analysis uses Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS software version 3.0. The results indicate that compensation does not significantly influence employee job satisfaction, while leadership style, work environment, and work motivation have a positive and significant influence on employee job satisfaction. These findings contribute to the Human Resource Management literature by emphasizing the importance of leadership quality, work environment, and internal motivation as key factors shaping employee job satisfaction.
