Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola pengasuhan dan komunikasi pengasuh dalam pembinaan akhlak anak asuh di Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar, untuk mengetahui pola pembinaan akhlak anak di Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar, serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi dan pengasuhan anak dalam pembinaan akhlak di Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah field research (penelitian lapangan) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu sebuah penelitian yang bertujuan mendapatkan fakta empiris secara objektif. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pola pengasuhan dan strategi komunikasi yang diterapkan dalam pembinaan akhlak anak di Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar. Melibatkan wawancara dengan pengasuh dan observasi di Panti Asuhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pola pengasuhan, terutama otoritatif, dan strategi komunikasi asertif mempengaruhi perkembangan akhlak anak. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola pengasuhan yang bersifat mendukung dan komunikasi yang terbuka berkontribusi pada pembentukan karakter positif pada anak. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang tantangan dan hambatan yang dihadapi pengasuh dalam memberikan pembinaan, sekaligus memberikan saran terkait peningkatan efektivitas pembinaan di lingkungan Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut mengenai peran penting pola pengasuhan dan komunikasi dalam membentuk akhlak anak di Panti Asuhan Al-Khaer Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap strategi penyiar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pemberitaan di radio Insania Makassar dan  mengungkap faktor pendukung dan penghambat penyiar dalam strategi meningkatkan kualitas pemberitaan di radio Insania Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan tahapan identifikasi masalah yang diteliti, menyusun proposal, tahap pengumpulan data, analisa data, dan penelitian laporan. Teknik pengumpulan data di lakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyiar dituntut  beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman dan daya saing di era modern dengan platform digital seperti TV dan Handphone, penyiar dituntut maksimal untuk melakukan fungsi dan tanggungjawab mereka dalam meningkatkan pemberitaannya dengan segmen berita terupdate, faktual, relevan dan menarik, mendatangkan narasumber dan melibatkan pendengar langsung dan sumber berita didapatkan dari media ANTARA.NEWS dan RRI serta kejadian yang sedang hits. Faktor pendukung: jaringan sudah menggunakan internet Network Digital yang dapat diakses melalui aplikasi, Persediaan sarana dan prasarana serta dana yang memadai, Faktor teknis (jaringan)  dan non-teknis (kualitas penyiar), Siaran radio mengalami evolusi di era digital mulai dari saluran analog (suara) ke Network Digital (transmisi suara dan data) yang diakses melalui aplikasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu: Jaringan internet yang kadang bermasalah, Ketersediaan berita dari sumber dua media lama, seperti ANTARA.NEWS dan RRI, Faktor teknis (jaringan) cuaca dan alat yang rusak dan non-teknis (kualitas penyiar) dan sebagian pendengar tidak dapat mengakses ke internet karena adanya transisi dari siaran analog ke digital.Kata kunci: Strategi, Penyiar, Kualitas, Pemberitaan, Radio.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia currently faces serious challenges in building a sustainable and contextual quality assurance system. The existing quality system tends only to emphasise the administrative aspect and does not fully reflect the core values in Islam, such as tauhid, amanah, ihsan, and deliberation. The quality approach adopted from the Western paradigm is also often irrelevant to Islamic educational institutions' spiritual and cultural needs. This research aims to conceptualize the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) model in Islamic education that is integrated with Islamic values. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through searches of national and international scientific journals, academic books, and official documents related to quality management and Islamic education. The research results produced five main components in the Islamic-based CQI model: Islamic basic values, Islamic transformational leadership, sustainable quality culture, the PDCA cycle based on spiritual values, and the collective participation of all institutional components. This model can bridge the gap between modern quality theory and the reality of Islamic education, and serves as a basic framework for building a quality culture more oriented towards sustainability and spirituality. This study concludes that the sustainable quality model based on Islamic values is very relevant to be applied in Islamic education to build superior institutional quality, integrity, and long-term orientation.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed nonverbal communication by introducing face masks into daily interactions, particularly affecting adolescents during a critical phase of socioemotional development. This study investigates how face masks influence the accuracy and cognitive processing of basic facial emotion recognition among Indonesian adolescents. Employing a between-subjects experimental design, 200 adolescents aged 12–18 were randomly assigned to view masked or unmasked facial expressions depicting six basic emotions. Emotion recognition accuracy, reaction times, and confidence ratings were collected using the Labvanced platform. The results indicate that face masks significantly reduce the accuracy of emotion recognition, with the most pronounced impairments observed for disgust and fear. Reaction times were longer across all masked conditions, suggesting increased cognitive load. Anger and sadness, which are more discernible from the eye region, maintained relatively higher recognition rates. Adolescents employed compensatory strategies, such as focusing on the eye region and contextual cues, but these were insufficient to fully counteract the interpretive challenges introduced by masking. The findings have critical implications for adolescent mental health and educational environments. Impaired emotion recognition may contribute to social withdrawal, miscommunication, and emotional dysregulation, ultimately affecting academic performance and peer relationships. These challenges are further complicated by cultural norms in Indonesia that may discourage overt emotional expression. Prolonged mask-wearing may also disrupt the development of emotional intelligence and social cognition. Interventions that promote emotion literacy particularly those that address masked and ambiguous facial cues are recommended. Schools, parents, and policymakers should work collaboratively to support adolescents through targeted educational programs and culturally sensitive socioemotional training.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of SMS-based behavioral nudges in reducing school dropout rates in disadvantaged regions of Indonesia. The research addresses persistent educational disparities that remain despite financial aid programs such as BOS and PIP. Inspired by behavioral insights and global practices, the intervention focused on motivational and loss-aversion messages delivered via SMS to parents and students. A cluster randomized trial was implemented in low-income communities in Papua and Sulawesi. The trial compared control and treatment groups by measuring attendance, retention, and parental engagement, with baseline and follow-up data used to capture behavioral changes. Results showed significant improvements in attendance and a modest reduction in dropout rates among the treatment group. Motivational nudges produced stronger effects than neutral reminders, and impacts were amplified when combined with financial aid programs. Supportive parental attitudes also contributed to sustained engagement. The study concludes that SMS-based nudges are a cost-effective and scalable tool to complement existing education policies. Ethical implementation requires attention to consent, privacy, and cultural sensitivity. Future research should focus on long-term behavioral impacts and integration with national education platforms.

Abstract

This article explores the transformative potential of disability arts in Indonesia by analyzing how inclusive artistic practices challenge dominant media narratives that depict disability through pity, inspiration, or deficit. Employing a comparative qualitative approach, the study integrates discourse analysis of artworks by the Deaf Art Community and Kinanty Andini with media content review and focus group discussions before and after art exposure. The analysis reveals that disability arts foster narrative agency, shifting audience perceptions from stereotypical views to recognition of disabled individuals as empowered and creative agents. Inclusive artworks deploy symbolism, cultural authenticity, and emotional storytelling, enabling participants to engage with disability not as deficiency but as lived, multifaceted identity. Qualitative and quantitative shifts in sentiment evidenced by changes in audience descriptors and thematic coding highlight the potential of art-based interventions to reduce stigma. However, the study also notes limitations, including misinterpretation, co-optation, and inequities in access and representation. Cultural contexts significantly shape the reception of disability narratives, while digital platforms simultaneously democratize and constrain visibility. The study concludes that disability art, while not a panacea, is a critical catalyst for narrative transformation and cultural inclusion. Continued collaboration among artists, scholars, and institutions is necessary to ensure lasting impact and representation.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah memiliki tantangan yang kompleks, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca yang merupakan dasar bagi pemahaman teks keagamaan dan akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi secara mendalam penerapan metode al-qawāʿid wa al-tarjamah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas VI MI Darul Istiqamah Kabupaten Maros serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi proses pembelajaran, wawancara dengan guru, kepala madrasah, dan siswa, serta telaah dokumentasi berupa arsip nilai dan perangkat pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan model interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode al-qawāʿid wa al-tarjamah diterapkan melalui tahapan penjelasan kaidah gramatikal, latihan membaca teks, pengayaan kosakata, dan penerjemahan secara bertahap yang diakhiri evaluasi formatif dan sumatif. Evaluasi menggunakan lembar penilaian khusus mencakup kelancaran membaca, pemahaman kosakata, ketepatan terjemahan, dan ketekunan belajar. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 72,1 (evaluasi formatif) menjadi 82,7 (UTS) dan 87,9 (UAS), menunjukkan efektivitas metode ini dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca. Faktor pendukung meliputi motivasi belajar siswa, kompetensi guru, dan pengelolaan kelas yang kondusif, sedangkan hambatan utamanya adalah keterbatasan waktu dan heterogenitas kemampuan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode al-qawāʿid wa al-tarjamah tetap relevan dan efektif di madrasah ibtidaiyah apabila diadaptasi melalui strategi pembelajaran diferensial dan penguatan latihan di luar kelas.

The demand for Corn is increasing due to the development of the food and animal feed industries. Although Corn production in 2024 experienced a surplus of 2.98%, there are still challenges in meeting domestic Corn needs. Fluctuating production, climate change, land degradation, and dependence on imports are major issues in Corn development. The government aims to produce 16.7 million tons of Corn by 2025 as part of its strategy to reduce imports and increase food self-sufficiency. In addition, the surge in demand for animal feed resulting from increased animal protein consumption is also driving the priority of developing this commodity. The Local Economic Development Program can be one of the supporting efforts in increasing Corn production as a strategy to fulfil food security. As a community empowerment program initiated by DSLNG, this program can reach three sub-districts in Banggai Regency: Batui, Nambo, and Kintom. One of the focuses of the Local Economic Development Program is to support the increase of local corn production, especially in the Kintom District. As a result of the assistance provided by the company, the corn harvest can reach 4,683 kg, equivalent to IDR 21,073,500, specifically in the Kintom Sub-district.

Abstract

The function of online learning is to provide quality and effective services in the teaching and learning process through an open network that can reach more people. This online learning directly involves the role of educators and students in its implementation, and is not limited by space and timeThis paper aims to determine the influence of the online learning process on the learning achievement of the Qur'an Hadith Class V Students of MI Raudlatus Sholihin Gemolong Sragen for the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The results showed that the better the online learning process did not affect the better the learning achievement of the Qur'an hadith of grade V students of MI Raudlatus Sholihin Gemolong Sragen for the 2021/2022 academic year.
