Abstract

Menurunnya skor prestasi sains siswa di Indonesia dari data TIMSS 2011 dan kemorosotan moral bangsa menuntut terjadinya perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibutuhkan suatu inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa melalui metode pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan komik sains. Pembelajaran inkuiri dengan bantuan komik bertujuan agar siswa dapat lebih memahami materi serta mencontoh karakter dalam komik. Karakter yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran ini adalah religius, disiplin, kreatif, rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli  lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-Experimental dengan bentuk one-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Komik sains yang telah diuji kelayakan dan keterbacaan dalam penelitian terdahulu digunakan sebagai bahan ajar penelitian. Hasil uji gain menunjukkan bahwa aspek karakter religius, kreatif, dan rasa ingin tahu mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria sedang, sedangkan aspek karakter disiplin dan peduli lingkungan mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria rendah. Analisis hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan peningkatan kriteria sedang, sedangkan hasil belajar psikomotorik menunjukkan peningkatan kriteria rendah. The decilining science achievement scores of students in Indonesia from 2011 TIMSS data and moral decadence of the nation demanding a change in education. Based on this case, an innovation in the learning process is needed. The purpose of this research is to develop the character of students through inquiry learning methods aided comic science. Inquiry learning with the help of comic aims to enable students to better understand the material and modeled the character in the comic. The characters are developed in this study is a religious, disciplined, creative, curious, and caring environment. The method used in this study are pre-experimental in the form of one-group pretest-posttest design. Comic science that has been tested the feasibility and legibility in previous studies are used as teaching materials in this research. The results showed that thecharacters of religious, creative, and curiosity has increased with moderate criteria, while the characters of discipline and caring environment has increased with low criteria. Analysis of cognitive learning outcomes showed moderate criteria, whereas psychomotor learning results showed an increase in the low criteria.

Abstract

      Selama ini siswa masih menganggap fisika sebagai pelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan. Pandangan ini dapat diubah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat membuat siswa merasa nyaman dalam belajar, salah satunya adalah quantum learning. Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) telah mendeklarasikan diri sebagai universitas konservasi sejak 12 Maret 2010, sehingga calon pendidik yang diluluskan oleh UNNES juga bertanggung jawab dalam membawa misi konservasi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang disisipi nilai konservasi diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter siswa ke arah yang lebih baik. Pendidikan karakter di era global saat ini menjadi sangat penting karena kualitas karakter bangsa menentukan kemajuan bangsa tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan karakter dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model quantum learning bermuatan konservasi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest Posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model quantum learning bermuatan konservasi dapat mengembangkan karakter khususnya rasa ingin tahu, jujur, disiplin, dan komunikatif. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa pada materi teori kinetik gas mengalami peningkatan dengan gain pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

Kemendiknas mencanangkan penerapan pendidikan karakter untuk semua tingkat pendidikan. Penerapan pendidikan karakter dapat dikolaborasikan dengan model Learning Cycle 7E (LC 7E). Model LC 7E yang terintegrasi dengan nilai karakter berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar sekaligus perkembangan karakter siswa. Pada kegiatan pembelajaran, model tersebut dapat diterapkan melalui LKS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKS Fisika berbasis learning cycle 7E. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research & Development). Desain LKS terdiri dari tujuh tahap pembelajaran model learning cycle 7E. Pada setiap tahap pembelajaran terdapat kegiatan yang dapat membangun karakter siswa. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa LKS berada pada kriteria sangat layak sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai panduan pembelajaran. Hasil uji keterbacaan menunjukkan bahwa LKS berada pada kriteria tinggi sehingga mudah dipahami dan dapat digunakan secara mandiri oleh pembaca. LKS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif. LKS juga dapat membangun karakter siswa terutama karakter jujur, rasa ingin tahu, komunikatif, dan disiplin.

Abstract

Indonesia need strategy to overcome the crisis of character, one of which is through the integrated character education. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of PBI model that helped by worksheets with scientific approach, the increasing of knowledge learning result, the developing of character, and the increasing of skill learning result,. The method that used in this research is pre experimental with Pre-test and Post-test Group design. This research results show that implementation of PBI that helped by phisics worksheets  with scientific approach can improve learning outcomes of knowledge in medium category, it can also develop character especially honesty, discipline, curiosity, and communicative, and improve skills learning outcomes in medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of teaching materials based on STEM as well as to know the improvement of mastery of concept of high school students. The method used in this research is research and development. This research procedure is divided into four stages, i.e. preliminary study, planning, development and trial of teaching materials. Trial design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of small and large group trials are XII MIPA 6 and XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Wonosobo. Characteristics of STEM-based teaching materials containing dynamic fluid materials with practical problems and procedures and project preparation associated with STEM aspects. Result of feasibility test using questionnaire shows the instructional is suitable to be used. The result of readability test using cloze test shows the teaching material is easily understood. Teaching material can improve the mastery of student concepts characterized by the increase of pretest value to posttest.

Abstract

Teaching material is a learning resource that can help teachers to facilitate the delivery of learning materials. The teaching materials used in some schools emphasize material descriptions rather than applications in everyday life. In the Curriculum 2013 there is a KI-1 that contains religious values ​​such as Islamic values ​​for Islamic schools. These Islamic values ​​can be included in teaching materials. I-SETS-based physics teaching materials (Islamic, Science, Environment, Technology, Society) are teaching materials that apply the principles of science in the form of technology to know the impacts that are generated for the environment and society, and related to Islamic values. Character education proclaimed by the government can also be integrated in I-SETS-based physics teaching materials. The purpose of this research is to compose the physics-based I-SETS-based physics learning materials, know the level of eligibility and readability, and character development. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The result of the research shows that the I-SETS-based physics-based teaching materials are characterized using several characteristics, the result of the feasibility test of physics-based I-SETS material which viewed from the aspect of content, presentation, and language shows that the teaching material is very suitable to be used. The results of the legibility test show that the teaching materials are easy to understand. The development of religious character, discipline, and responsibility after using the teaching materials, increases with the medium gain criteria.

Abstract

Device props that developed is smartphone projector that was equipped by student work sheets. Smartphone projector props from simple materials and easy to find intheform of a water-filled bulb that the system works like a convex lens, so it can produce real, inverted, and zoomed in shadow properties. Student work sheets as a supplement containing the props instruction, material reviews, and evaluation questions. The result of feasibility test of practicum device categorized as very high with percentage 87.64%. Research and Development in the form of Pretest and Postest One Group Design carried out for thr test of respondents. This research was held in junior high school 3 Juwana. The effectiveness test analysis was performed by the N-Gain <g> test and questionnaire student response. Validation results by validators for smartphone projector with student work sheets showed average score of 87.64%, so the tool props are very suitable to use as instructional media. N-Gain test analysis showed pretest-posttest results were classified as medium criterion with a <g> value of 0.589 and 82.35% classical completeness that is high. The results of the analysis of student responses show the value of 78.76 with positive criteria

Abstract

      Masalah rendahnya pendidikan karakter menjadi sorotan publik. Pusat Kurikulum Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional tahun 2010 merumuskan materi-materi pembelajaran perlu dikembangkan pendidikan karakter. Pengintegrasian karakter melalui LKS berpendekatan scientific pada materi tata surya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan desain LKS, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan  tingkat keterbacaan LKS, peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif, dan perkembangan karakter siswa setelah menggunakan LKS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah R&D (Research & Development). Uji coba kelompok besar menggunakan desain quasi experimental design berbentuk pretest dan posttest one group design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui (1) kelayakan LKS berada pada kriteria layak; (2) tingkat keterbacaan LKS pada kriteria tinggi; (3) karakter yang berkembang pada kriteria sedang; dan (4) peningkatan hasil kognitif berada pada kriteria sedang. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) desain LKS terdiri dari lima tahap pembelajaran scientific, karakter dimunculkan dari petunjuk kerja pada tahap-tahap pendekatan scientific dan materi tata surya; (2) tingkat kelayakan LKS berada pada kriteria layak; (3) tingkat keterbacaan LKS berada pada kriteria tinggi; (4) LKS dapat mengembangkan karakter disiplin, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri dan tanggung jawab; (5) LKS mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.   The problem of low character education becomes the public spotlight. Curriculum Center of the Ministry of National Education in 2010 to formulate the learning materials need to develop character education. The integration of character through LKS has a scientific approach to the solar system material. The purpose of this study is to describe the design of LKS, know the level of eligibility and level of legality LKS, improvement of cognitive learning outcomes, and the development of student character after using LKS. The research method used is R & D (Research & Development). Large group trials used quasi design experimental design in the form of pretest and posttest one group design. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known (1) the feasibility of LKS is on the criteria worthy; (2) LKS legibility level on high criteria; (3) characters that develop on moderate criteria; and (4) the increase in cognitive outcomes is in moderate criteria. The conclusions of this study are (1) LKS design consists of five stages of scientific learning, character is generated from the work manual at the stages of scientific approach and solar system material; (2) the feasibility level of the LKS is in the criteria of eligibility; (3) LKS legibility is in high criteria; (4) LKS can develop the character of discipline, curiosity, independence and responsibility; (5) LKS can improve student learning outcomes

Abstract

The goals of this research are to describe the characteristics of student worksheets based on STEM, to know the feasibility of student worksheets based on STEM, to know the readability of student worksheets based on STEM, and to know the improvement of students' ability in their creative thinking. The used method in this research is Research and Development (R&D). This research consists of four-step; they are preliminary study, product design, design validation, and product testing. One Group Pretest-posttest is used as the trial design. The subject of a small-scale trial is XI MIPA 1 and the subject of a large-scale trial is XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Jekulo Kudus. The characteristics of STEM-based is that student worksheets contain discussion and practicum activities about mechanical waves associated with STEM aspects. The result of advisability test in terms the aspects of content, presentation, and language as much as 85.21% indicates that the STEM-based student worksheets to improve the ability of creative thinking is very feasible to use. Readability test results of 89.66% indicate that STEM-based student worksheets are easy to understand. Based on large-scale trials, the STEM-based student worksheets can improve the ability to think creatively, in terms of fluency, flexibility, elaboration, and originally indicated by the increase of pretest-posttest value.

Abstract

This research aims to produce teaching materials based Problem Based Learning to improve students? ability of communication and collaboration. This research used R&D method with the procedure of: introduction, plan program, product development. Trial design with one-Group pretest-posttest design, the subjects research class X MIPA 4 of SMA N 1 Juwana. This study aims to describe the characteristics of PBL-based teaching materials, test the level of feasibility, increase the ability of written communication, oral and collaboration, and student responses to teaching materials. The level of advisability and legibility in teaching material examine by the questionnaire and fill in the blank test. The data of ability improvement in written communication taken through the result of pretest and posttest, while the ability in spoken communication and collaboration taken through the result of observation. Students? response was taken through questionnaire after learning process. The results showed that the teaching materials based Problem Based Learning has a level of feasibility and good readability level and can improve students? ability of communication and collaboration.
