Abstract

The research gets down the factors that effect the needs compliance level of religion counselor. The research is occurred between September and November 2012 in West Java province. Religion counselor is the object of the research. After census research has been through, the complete questionnaire from 114 correspondents are able to processed for the need of analysis. The analysis that is used is Path Analysis. The result depicts more than half of correspondents have high needs compliance level either the whole of it or part of it in every research region, and some factors are also affecting the needs compliance level of religion counselor.

Abstract

Keberpihakan pesan merupakan kunci penting dalam komunikasi persuasi yang dapat mengubah sisi kognitif dan afektif. Desain pesan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini hanya menampilkan sisi positif (keunggulan) dari GAP bawang merah disebut juga pesan satu sisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis seberapa besar pesan satu sisi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengubah penilaian petani pada inovasi GAP bawang merah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen model Solomon desain empat kelompok karena dinilai memiliki akurasi paling tinggi dibanding jenis eksperimen lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Gempol Sari dengan melibatkan 48 petani yang dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok observasi. Hasil tes awal pengetahuan petani berada pada kategori sedang, setelah diberi perlakuan video pesan satu sisi kemudian meningkat hingga pada kategori tinggi. Selanjutnya, hasil tes awal pada penilaian petani menunjukkan sikap yang negatif (unfavorable) setelah diberi perlakuan video pesan satu sisi kemudian mereka mengubah sikapnya hingga pada kategori positif (favorable). Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain pesan satu sisi yang ditayangkan kepada petani dengan media video terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengubah sikap petani menjadi lebih positif menyikapi inovasi GAP bawang merah.

Abstract

The  structure  of  the  message  has  an  important  role  in  communication  persuasion  that  can  change  farmer’s knowledge and their perceived attributes of  innovations about Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) of shallot in Banten.  Two-sided  message  design  is  effective  in  changing  and  strengthening  one’s  attitude  according  to  the purpose of the message content because it has a balanced information between the advantages (positive) and the weaknesses  (negative).  The  purpose  of  study  is  to  analyze  the  two-sided  message  can  improve  farmer’s knowledge  and  change  their  perceived  attributes  of  innovations  about  GAP  of  shallot.  The  method  used  is experimental  model Solomon  four-group design  because of the  highest accuracy. This study was  conducted in Gempol Sari Village  involving 48  farmers divided  into four groups observation. The results  showed that there was no interaction between treatment and pretest, it can be ascertain that the changed by treatment. Furthermore, the design of a two-sided message in farmer video has proven to be effective improving their knowledge but has not  been  proven  to  change  perceived  of  innovations.  This  is  because  farmer’s  perceived  on  the  innovations pretest  already  in  the  favorable  category,  so that  when  given  the  treatment, their  perceived  still  remain  in  that category.  The  conclusion  of  the  study  shows  that  two-sided  message  video  can  improve  farmer’s  knowledge, while the pretest of perceived that originally was in the favorable category reach more higher score on posttest because of the treatment effect. Keywords: GAP, knowledge, perceived attributes of innovations, solomon design, two-sided message

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan CSR di Indonesia disebabkan akibat pengkomunikasian CSR yang belum efektif sehingga program CSR belum dipahami oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan hubungan variabel-variabel yang digunakan dalam mengukur efektivitas komunikasi pendamping program CSR dengan keberhasilan program CSR dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu desa binaan PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk, Desa Bantarjati, Kecamatan Klapanunggal, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan tabel frekuensi dan uji korelasi Rank Spearman untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat efektivitas komunikasi pendamping program cenderung tinggi, sedangkan tingkat keberhasilan program dan tingkat keberdayaan penerima program cenderung sedang. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa dua variabel tingkat efektivitas komunikasi pendamping program memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan dua variabel dengan tingkat keberhasilan program. Dua variabel pada tingkat keberhasilan program CSR juga berhubungan dengan dua variabel pada tingkat keberdayaan penerima program.

Abstract

Selama pembelajaran daring akibat pandemi Covid-19 di Program Studi Penyuluhan Perikanan Politeknik AUP, tujuh taruna tidak menyelesaikan pendidikan di Semester I. Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hubungan antara kinerja belajar dengan komunikasi interpersonal, tingkat kehadiran, efikasi diri terhadap pembelajaran daring, kemandirian belajar, dan motivasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara efikasi diri terhadap pembelajaran daring, kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, kemandirian belajar, motivasi akademik, dan tingkat kehadiran terhadap kinerja belajar. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode sensus. Dari 311 orang taruna, hanya 200 taruna mengisi instrumen penelitian. Kuesioner yang digunakan adalah Interpersonal Communication Competence Inventory, Online Learning Readiness Scale, Online Self-regulated Learning Questionnaire, dan Academic Motivation Scale. Data indeks prestasi, indeks prestasi kumulatif, dan tingkat kehadiran diperoleh dari Bagian Administrasi Akademik dan Ketarunaan Politeknik AUP. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) dengan hierarchical component models dengan dua tingkatan variabel. Dimensi setiap variabel sebagai tingkat pertama (first order) dan variabel efikasi diri terhadap pembelajaran daring; kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal; kemandirian belajar; motivasi sebagai tingkat kedua (second order). Model pengukuran telah memenuhi validitas dan reliabilitas. Sedangkan model struktural mempunyai koefisien determinasi yang lemah. Model struktural yang dibuat terpisah untuk semester II, semester IV, dan Semester VI dan VIII memperlihatkan nilai koefisien determinasi yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan gabungan keseluruhan taruna. Hasil pengujian hipotesis memperlihatkan, hanya tingkat kehadiran yang berhubungan nyata dengan kinerja belajar pada seluruh model. Kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal juga berhubungan nyata dengan kinerja belajar pada taruna semester II. The Covid-19 pandemic caused all education activities to shift to online learning. During online learning, seven cadets from the Fisheries Extension Study Program of The Jakarta Technical University of Fisheries were dropped out in the first semester. Previous research has shown a relationship between learning performance and interpersonal communication, attendance level, self-efficacy towards online learning, self-regulated learning, and academic motivation. This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy toward online education, interpersonal communication skills, self-regulated learning, academic motivation, attendance levels, and learning performance. The research sample was obtained through a census. Of 311 cadets, only 200 cadets who fill the questionnaires. The questionnaires used were Interpersonal Communication Competence Inventory, Online Learning Readiness Scale, Online Self-regulated Learning Questionnaire, and Academic Motivation Scale. GPA and attendance level were collected from the Academic Administration of JTFU. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with hierarchical component models with two levels of variables. Dimensions of each variable in the first order, then self-efficacy towards online learning; interpersonal communication skills; self-regulated learning; academic motivation in the second order. Evaluation of measurement models meets the validity and reliability criteria, but the structural model has a weak coefficient of determination. The structural model made separately for Semester II, Semester IV, and Semester VI and VIII has a more significant resolution coefficient than the total of cadets. Hypothesis testing showed only attendance levels related to learning performances in all models. Interpersonal communication skills are also significantly associated with the learning performance of the second-semester cadets.

Abstract

West Kalimantan is one of province who often fire occurs in eac dry season. Various efforts have been conducted by the government in order to prevent fires. That efforts will be successful if have support of local farmers. One of their support can be analysis of attitude of farmers to land cultivation without burning system. The objectives of this study were: 1) to find out the attitude of farmers in land cultivation without burning system, 2) to analyze the correlation between the internal factors and the external factors to farmer’s attitude. This research was conducted in March to May 2015 in Mempawah District. The population were 95 95 farmers whose have land has ever been burned and land surround the burned area. The data collection was conducted by census on the population. Descriptive and correlational analysis was used to analyzed. The results indicated that the attitude of farmers to land cultivation without burning system was negative. The external factors were positively correlated with participation, consists of the extension worker’s role and support of social environment (public figures, the role of group, information media and government role). The internal factors correlated with attitude were education and income, the external factors were positively correlated with attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between social capital variables (social ties, social trust, and shared vision), individual motivation (self-efficacy, Altruism, and reciprocal norms), and technology (perceived ease of use and enjoyment of participation). On knowledge sharing intention variable, knowledge sharing intention variable on knowledge sharing behavior, and the relationship between individual characteristics and all variables. This study involved 128 respondents from the online community Duta Rumah Belajar who are outstanding teachers representing 34 provinces in Indonesia who PUSDATIN strictly selected, the Ministry of Education and Culture to promote the Rumah Belajar portal). Data analysis used the Chi-Square method and the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS). The results showed that individual motivation had a significant effect on knowledge-sharing intentions. Social capital and technology had no significant impact on knowledge sharing intentions. Knowledge sharing intentions had a substantial effect on knowledge sharing behavior, and there were no differences in individual characteristics of all research variables.

Abstract

The process of disseminating innovation so that it can be quickly responded by the user community needs to be designed in such a way that it can produce relatively permanent changes in behavior. This study aims to analyze how the strategy of increasing the capacity of sheep farmers through the thematic village campus program in Neglasari Village, Bogor. The research was designed as action research at the study site, accompanied by the use of survey methods with a quantitative approach and supported by qualitative data. The selection of study sites was carried out purposively. The process of collecting data was carried out on sheep breeders, members of women's farmer groups, informants and related stakeholders. The Village Campus Program has accelerated the technology education process produced by the campus to the community, becoming a vehicle for lecturer service, linkage with faculty programs or study programs. In order for this program to be sustainable, it is necessary to involve various parties such as alumni, local leadership, based on user needs, as well as conducting regular meetings on a programmed basis.

Abstract

The article describes about cerlification programme for sustainable forest management. Concern for forest problems has increased dramatically over last decade. Sustainable forest management is an inherent aim of certification. It is the ultimate goal to which certified forest should aspire, but such a goal is reached only through a period of transition, during which management standards are progressively established and fine-tuned. The explicit aim of certification is to improve the quality of forest management so as to reach this goal. The aim of certification systems is to make timber production more ecologically and socially responsible and economically viable by grading sources so that consumers can choose on these grounds. The argument is that environmentally aware consumers will be prepared to pay more for products if they know where these come from and how they have been produced. Higher prices will motivate timber companies to implement sustainable forest management principles. There are certain general principles of sustainability which have been agreed, these include emvironmental sustainability social sustainability and economic sustainability. This article describes focus on certification in context, certification in practice, views on certification, overall trends in the certification debate, the sticky issues differing views that need resolving, and the forest certification programme in lndonesia.

Abstract

Communication of innovation in agriculture is a way for farmers not only to seek information about agriculture in an innovative way but also how to explore and share information with fellow farmers in an innovative way to increase their agricultural productivity. During the pandemic, due to restrictions on gatherings, counseling is carried out in an innovative way, namely digital. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of extension workers and supporting facilities for digital agriculture and extension, to determine the factors that influence the level of empowerment of farmers in the city of Bogor. This study uses quantitative research methods which are strengthened by qualitative data. The location of the research was determined deliberately in the city of Bogor, which has good urban agriculture. The results show that extension workers are ready to face digital counseling and the communication support facilities for digital innovation in the city of Bogor are good for digital counseling. the level of empowerment of farmers directly affects the productivity of farmers and indirectly positively influenced by; environmental support, farmer innovation activities, and individual characteristics of farmers.
