Abstract

Instagram menjadi salah satu media sosial terpopuler yang digunakan oleh masyarakat saat ini. Peluang tersebut digunakan oleh PT Infosumbar Media Kreasi untuk memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai media dalam menyebarkan informasi sejarah dan budaya lokal di tengah warisan kebudayaan Indonesia. Penelitian ini menganalisis efektivitas akun Instagram @infosumbar sebagai media penyebaran informasi sejarah dan budaya Minangkabau. Penelitian ini menghubungkan variabel terpaan penggunaan Instagram dengan tingkat efektivitas Instagram yang dilihat dari efek pesan komunikasi terhadap aspek kognitif, afektif, dan konatif pengikutnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan observasi sebagai instrumen pengambilan data kuantitatif yang didukung dengan data kualitatif dari wawancara mendalam. Data kuantitatif diolah menggunakan uji korelasi dengan pemilihan responden yang menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan nyata antara tingkat terpaan pengikut akun Instagram @infosumbar dengan tingkat efektivitas akun Instagram @infosumbar dalam aspek kognitif, afektif, dan konatif.

Abstract

Penyuluh memiliki peran penting yang mampu melakukan perubahan pada petani ke arah lebih baik dan kompeten. Dalam proses perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik dibutuhkan komunikasi yang efektif agar petani mampu mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan dalam berusahatani anggrek Vanda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran penyuluh, efektivitas komunikasi, dan kompetensi berusahatani anggrek. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan menganalisis hubungan peran penyuluh dengan efektivitas komunikasi dan menganalisis hubungan efektivitas komunikasi terhadap kompetensi berusahatani petani dalam kegiatan pembinaan penyuluhan anggrek. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada petani yang mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan anggrek di Kecamatan Pamulang, Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode sensus yang didukung dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluh telah berperan baik dalam kegitan penyuluhan budidaya anggrek, namun komunikasi yang berjalan selama kegiatan penyuluhan berlangsung tidak efektif karena petani belum mampu menerapkan budidaya anggrek sehingga kompetensi yang dimiliki petani tergolong rendah. Selain itu, Peran penyuluh memiliki hubungan yang tidak signifikan dengan efektivitas komunikasi. Begitu pula dengan efektivitas komunikasi memiliki hubungan yang tidak signifikan dengan kompetensi berusahatani petani.

Abstract

In general, the focus of this study analyzes the strengthening of solidarity through social media networks in communities living in the Ciliwung River Basin. There are two objectives of this study, namely analyzing social media can strengthen the solidarity and the forms of solidarity that are built on the community affected by floods and landslides in the Ciliwung River Basin. This research was conducted in a community that resides in the Ciliwung River, Kedunghalang Village, North Bogor District, Bogor City. Theoretical analysis uses social media theory from VanDijk and the theory of solidarity from Durkheim. Data collection techniques were carried out by non-participant observation, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique was carried out by the Milles and Huberman analysis model among neigboarhoods (RT) and hamlet/groups of neighboarhoods (RW) level. The results of the study show that social media is able to strengthen community solidarity in the Ciliwung Riverbank, a disaster prone area. Solidarity built through social media are social relations, social norms and inter-household trust. Social relations built on social media networks at the level of individuals and groups are high. The form of built solidarity is mechanical solidarity that has a strong collective awareness, trust and mutual assistance. The novelty of this research shows that social media network is able to form social relations in strengthening solidarity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Posdaya in creating an ideal and harmonious of family. Poverty, changes in consumer lifestyle and weakening of the meaning of family, have the potential to encourage domestic violence and human trafficking. This study used a participatory action research approach (PAR) for the development of family-based model of empowerment throught local institutions of Posdaya. The pilot project was conducted in Posdaya Jaya Kencana, Pabean Udik Village, Indramayu District, Indramayu Regency (fishermen communities) and in Posdaya Eka Mandiri, Cihideung Udik Village, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province (agriculture communities). The results show that Posdaya is potential institution that can be use to develop activities to strengthen the functions of the family. In addition, Posdaya can also serve as a forum for communication in the prevention and treatment of domestic violence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Posdaya dalam mewujudkan keluarga yang ideal dan harmonis.  Akibat dari kemiskinan, perubahan gaya hidup konsumtif dan melemahnya makna keluarga, hal tersebut berpotensi mendorong KDRT dan human trafficking.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan participatory action research (PAR) untuk pengembangan model pemberdayaan keluarga berbasis kelembagaan lokal Posdaya. Pilot project dilakukan di Posdaya Jaya Kencana, Desa Pabean Udik, Kecamatan Indramayu, Kabupaten Indramayu (komunitas nelayan) dan di Posdaya Eka Mandiri, Desa Cihideung Udik, Kecamatan Ciampea, Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat (komunitas pertanian).  Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Posdaya merupakan lembaga yang potensial dikembangkan  sebagai wadah koordinasi kegiatan penguatan fungsi-fungsi keluarga.  Selain itu, Posdaya juga dapat berfungsi sebagai forum komunikasi dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan KDRT.

Abstract

IPB university is one of the universities that has many innovations, IPB's achievements for 12 years (2008-2019) participating in the 100 plus Indonesian innovation program organized by the Business Innovation Center with support from the Ministry of Research Education, and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences. Higher education is an innovation center that plays a role in the progress of society, providing impact and solutions from the results of research conducted. However, the reality is whether the research carried out provides an effective solution to the community or is just a collection of books that are neatly stored in the library and can only be accessed by certain circles. Quantitative research with correlational survey methods that explain the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The results showed that most of the respondents in this study worked as farmers, male gender, productive age, low education and low income. Characteristics that have a real influence on adoption decisions are education, employment and income. The types of innovation and attributes of innovation have a real relationship to the adoption decision and the interpersol communication channel has a real relationship to the innovation adoption decision.

Abstract

Non-formal education managers who possess social entrepreneurship competence are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to identify and address social and economic challenges and create innovative and impactful programs that can help improve the lives of the communities they serve. Social entrepreneurship competence involves skills related to leadership, problem-solving, innovation, and community engagement, as well as understanding the social, economic, and cultural factors that can impact non-formal education programs. By developing social entrepreneurship competence, non-formal education managers can create more effective and sustainable programs and better serve the needs and interests of their communities. This study uses a quantitative approach to the survey method. The population of this study is non-formal education managers consisting of study groups, course and training institutions, and community learning activity centers. The research sample and respondents were selected by non-random sampling with 53 respondents. Analysis of data using path analysis. The study suggests a correlation between a manager's character and social competence in entrepreneurship. In addition, this research reveals that management competence is closely related to empowering the community and developing social entrepreneurial skills.

Abstract

One of the problems with families of children with cerebral palsy is that they still need a lot of information systematically and scientifically through counseling to build the psychological function of the families of children with cerebral palsy. So that all family members can fully function to provide resilience in parenting children with cerebral palsy who help their children who have limitations. The method used in this study is a descriptive method, which is a study that aims to describe and explain something as it is, while the materials and methods used in this study use a literature review. From the results of several studies regarding the study of parenting Cerebral Palsy children, there was no explanation of the form of intervention for parents who cared for children with Cerebral Palsy. Interventions currently being carried out from psychological studies are positive parenting programs and special commitment therapy for parents of children with cerebral palsy. Positive parenting programs and special commitment therapy for parents of Cerebral Palsy from health communication studies with an emphasis on Parenting Resilience of Cerebral Palsy children with emotional intelligence interventions and social support through family members, community, therapy due to the demands of the role of caregiving. the scarcity of parenting resources for children compared to parenting by the closest family members of Cerebral Palsy children.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial skills are necessary competencies for non-formal education managers. However, the development of social entrepreneurship skills in non-formal education has not received sufficient attention. This study aims to evaluate social entrepreneurship competencies and identify the factors and processes of non-formal education. Specifically, the research aims to analyze social entrepreneurship competencies among managers of non-formal education. The research method used is a literature review that collects data from relevant sources. The analysis shows that social entrepreneurship competencies required by non-formal education managers include creativity, adaptability, self-confidence, networking, understanding of social issues, and managerial skills. Additionally, non-formal education managers need knowledge and skills in financial management, marketing, and collaboration with other parties. This study contributes to strengthening the role of non-formal education managers in increasing the contribution of non-formal education institutions to society. The study's results can be a reference for non-formal education managers to improve their social competence.

Abstract

The treatment of TB faces many obstacles, both from the patient’s perspective and their environment. Therefore, the presence of TB survivors in the treatment process is expected to assist TB survivors during the recovery and post-recovery stages. Many approaches can be made to deal with TB, including the social and behavior change communication (SBCC) approach. This study aims to analyze the use of SBCC by TB survivors from the Terjang Foundation in treating TB in Bandung. This study adopts a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature reviews. The study results show that SBCC has been implemented as follows: 1) Advocacy is carried out through meetings to seek support from the government and other stakeholders; 2) Social mobilization is carried out by involving stakeholders, including the Health Office, community elements, and TB survivors. Social mobilization is conducted through TB Day activities, seminars, and patient visits; 3) Education is carried out by explaining TB treatment to survivors and accompanying TB patients during drug administration in hospitals.

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the development of literature on community empowerment through zakat and its relation to social change. A total of 29 documents published between 2016 and 2023 were analyzed using a narrative review approach and bibliometric analysis with the assistance of the RStudio application. Concept mapping and visualization of publications were conducted to identify elements of knowledge, dynamics, relationships, and interactions among publications. The analysis results show that research during the 2016-2023 period generally focuses on the economic aspect of zakat in social change. However, further research is needed to cover other dimensions of social change, such as politics, culture, technology, and environment. Consequently, the study of the impact of zakat on social change needs to be expanded to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the role of zakat in promoting inclusive and sustainable social change within society.
