Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum demands a fundamental paradigm shift in human resource management (HRM) within Senior High Schools. This study aims to analyze the transformation of educational HRM, specifically focusing on strategies to enhance teacher competence and adapt to the digital demands of the new curriculum. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research maps the dynamics of HR governance in navigating policy changes. Abstract

Current economics learning practices are predominantly reliant on two-dimensional media such as PowerPoint and Canva, which often fail to visualize abstract economic concepts effectively. This limitation reduces student engagement and understanding of real-world economic contexts. This study aims to analyze the specific needs for developing Virtual Reality (VR)-based economics learning media. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews and documentation from Economics teachers and High School students in Pontianak City and Kubu Raya Regency. The data were analyzed using an interactive model comprising data condensation, display, and verification. The results indicate a significant gap between the static media currently used and the students' need for immersive learning experiences. Specifically, teachers and students identified a critical need for VR simulations to visualize complex topics such as Market Mechanisms, International Trade, and Stock Exchanges. Furthermore, the study highlights that successful VR implementation requires user-friendly interfaces and compatibility with existing school infrastructure. These findings serve as a foundational reference for developing valid and practical VR media to enhance critical thinking and learning motivation in Economics

Abstract

This paper (1) describes students’ character values through the Team Games Tournament learning model assisted by Plickers media, (2) describes students’ learning outcomes through the Team Games Tournament learning model assisted by media Plickers, and (3) describes the effect of the Plickers media-assisted Team Games Tournament learning model on students’ character values and learning outcomes simultaneously. The research is quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of the research was all the fifth-grade students of SD Cluster 1 in Manuju. Through random sampling technique, the researcher selected the fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Pattallikang and SD Inpres Tanakaraeng as research samples. Data were collected through questionnaires and tests, and subsequently analyzed through t-test (paired sample t-test). The research results indicate that there were differences in students’ character values and social science learning outcomes in the control and experimental classes. The average character values and learning outcomes in the experimental class were higher than the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the Team Games Tournament learning model influences the character values and students’ social science learning outcomes.

Abstract

Character education is a fundamental aspect of the Islamic education system, aiming to shape the holistic and balanced personality of students. This article examines the integration of religious and moral values in Islamic character education, based on classical and contemporary Islamic scholarly literature. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, with the primary data sources being the works of classical scholars such as Al-Ghazali, Az-Zarnuji, and KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, as well as Islamic education books and national journal articles from the past five years. Data were analyzed using content analysis with normative-philosophical and historical-contextual approaches. The results of the study indicate that the integration of faith and moral values is the core of Islamic character education. Classical scholars emphasize the development of faith, manners, role models, and habits as the main methods of character education, while contemporary thought highlights the importance of an integrative, holistic, and contextual approach in facing the challenges of modern education. This article formulates a model of integration of faith and moral values in Islamic character education that includes four main pillars, namely faith as a source of values, morals as the goal of education, role models and habits as methods, and the educational environment as a moral ecosystem. This integration is expected to be able to shape the character of students who are faithful, have noble morals, and are adaptive to global dynamics without losing their Islamic identity
