Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menempel anak usia 3–4 tahun melalui kegiatan kolase daun kering di Pos PAUD Nusa Indah Bubutan Surabaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah di Pos Paud Nusa IndahKecamatan Bubutan Surabaya. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 10 anak di Pos Paud Nusa IndahBubutan Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif dan dokumentasi, teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan motorik halus anak, khususnya kemampuan menjepit daun, mengoleskan lem, dan menempel daun pada media kolase. Rata-rata capaian anak pada siklus I meningkat dari 53% pada pertemuan pertama, menjadi 63% di pertemuan kedua, dan 73% di pertemuan ketiga. Pada siklus II, capaian anak meningkat lebih tinggi, yaitu 77% pada pertemuan pertama, 83% di pertemuan kedua, dan 90% di pertemuan ketiga. Aktivitas guru juga meningkat dari kategori “Baik” (79%) pada siklus I menjadi “Sangat Baik” (89%) pada siklus II. Aktivitas anak meningkat dari 68% pada siklus I menjadi 83% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, kegiatan kolase daun kering terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menempel anak usia dini, sekaligus menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan serta relevan untuk mengembangkan motorik halus di PAUD.

Abstract

Keterampilan memegang pensil merupakan kemampuan dasar penting yang mendukung kesiapan menulis anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas metode tripod dengan pensil graphite dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memegang pensil anak usia 5–6 tahun. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart dengan dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari empat pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B di TK Mustika Rini Surabaya. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, dan keterampilan memegang pensil, serta dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada siklus II, yaitu aktivitas guru 86%, aktivitas anak 81%, dan kemampuan memegang pensil 80,8%, dibandingkan dengan siklus I sebesar 72%, 64%, dan 49,15%. Metode tripod dengan pensil graphite efektif dalam memperbaiki posisi jari, meningkatkan koordinasi motorik halus, dan mendukung kerapian tulisan anak usia dini. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru PAUD untuk menggunakan metode tripod sebagai strategi stimulasi keterampilan pramenulis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of flannel board media on the ability to recognize letters in syllables in children aged 4–5 years. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects were 8 children in Group A at TK At-Taqwa Bojonegoro. Data collection techniques used observation sheets, and data analysis was carried out using the Mann-Whitney U test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of using flannel board media on the ability to recognize letters in syllables, as indicated by the significance value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 based on the Mann-Whitney U test. Thus, it can be concluded that flannel board media is effective for use in language learning for early childhood.

Abstract

Limited learning media for geometry often hinders early childhood in understanding basic shapes such as triangles and squares. To address this issue, G-MAG (Geometry Imagination) media was developed to strengthen the recognition and classification skills of children aged 5–6 years. The research applied the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, involving 15 children at TK Khadijah, Surabaya. Data were obtained through observation and questionnaires, while the effectiveness test used the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The media, consisting of a 35 × 8 cm geometry tower, color dice, and shape dice, was validated by experts and judged highly feasible. Effectiveness results indicated a significant improvement (Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.05) between pretest and posttest scores. Children showed better abilities in recognizing and classifying geometric forms through repeated play-based activities. G-MAG provides an engaging, meaningful learning experience and has potential for broader application in early childhood education.

Abstract

Early childhood can be categorized into three different groups, namely children aged 0–2 years, children aged 3–5 years, and children aged 6–8 years. Recognizing letter shapes is the foundation of reading activities; therefore, it is important for parents and teachers to provide stimulation in recognizing letter shapes in children so that it can serve as preparation for the next level of education. This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing Quiet Book media on the ability of early childhood to recognize the letters “b” and “d,” and to determine the effectiveness of the developed Quiet Book media on the ability of early childhood to recognize the letters “b” and “d.” The research used the Research and Development (R&D) method. The product development design in this study referred to the ADDIE model developed by Branch. The research results showed Sig. value of 0.001 < 0.05, thus H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. This means there is a significant difference between pretest and posttest results, so it can be concluded that the Quiet Book learning media is effective in improving early literacy skills of children aged 4–5 years, particularly in recognizing the letters “b” and “d".

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of children aged 5–6 years to recognize the concept of numbers 1–10, as well as the limited use of engaging learning media appropriate to children’s developmental stages at TK RA Kartini Lamongan. The purpose of this research was to examine the feasibility and effectiveness of the Number Fishing media in improving the ability to recognize number concepts in children. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The product developed was Number Fishing media made of flannel fabric, consisting of a fish pond, fish numbered 1–10, magnetic fishing rods, colored dice, and fish containers. Validation was conducted by two material experts and two media experts using a Likert-scale assessment sheet. The validation results indicated that the media was highly feasible, with average scores of 95.83% from material experts and 96.88% from media experts. Effectiveness testing was carried out using pretest and posttest analyzed with the Wilcoxon test, yielding an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.002 < 0.05. These findings demonstrate that the Number Fishing media is feasible, effective, interactive, and aligned with the developmental characteristics of early childhood.

Abstract

Koperasi bagi bangsa Indonesia merupakan Badan Usaha Ekonomi yang sesuai dengan cita-cita bangsa Indonesia, sebagaimana di amanatkan dalam pasal 33 ayat 1 UUD 1945, yang menyatakan bahwa perekonomian Indonesia di susun sebagai usaha bersama berdasar atas azas kekeluargaan dan pasal tersebut menyebutkan bahwa kemakmuran masyarakatlah yang diutamakan, bukan kemakmuran orang per orang, serta bangun perusahaan yang sesuai dengan pasal 33 itu adalah badan usaha yang berbentuk Koperasi. Latar belakang kegiatan pengadian pada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman bagi ibu-ibu kelompok PKK desa Kalisari, Kecamata Kradenan, Kabupaten Grobogan dalam usaha merintis berdirinya Koperasi Simpan Pinjam. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah agar kelompok PKK desa Kalisari memiliki pengetahuan perkoperasian dan mampu mendirikan badan usaha ekonomi yang berbentuk Koperasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah kemauan dan kesediaan kelompok ibu-ibu PKK desa Kalisari untuk mendirikan badan usaha ekonomi berbentuk Koperasi, yaitu Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) sebagai salah satu wadah bersama menghimpun dana permodalan bagi usaha Koperasi dan UMKM.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung mundur anak usia 5–6 tahun melalui media Big Book “Sepuluh Botol Susu” di TK Kurnia Wonorejo Surabaya. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari temuan bahwa sebagian anak masih kesulitan memahami konsep urutan angka secara mundur. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis & McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 20 anak kelompok B. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, penilaian perkembangan, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan membandingkan hasil tiap siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan berhitung mundur anak. Pada siklus I, rata-rata kemampuan anak berada pada kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH) dengan persentase 60%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB) dengan persentase 85%. Peningkatan ini dipengaruhi oleh penerapan media Big Book yang memadukan unsur visual, auditori, dan kinestetik melalui kegiatan bercerita dan bernyanyi, sehingga konsep berhitung mundur dapat dipahami secara konkret dan menyenangkan. Hasil penelitian memperkuat teori perkembangan kognitif Piaget bahwa anak praoperasional belajar lebih efektif melalui pengalaman konkret dan interaktif. Maka, media Big Book “Sepuluh Botol Susu” terbukti sebagai strategi pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes in human activity materialthrough the application of 4C-based scientific approaches (communication, collaborative, critical thinking,and creativity) in class VII B of SMP Negeri 1 Mojoanyar Semester 2 in the 2019/2020 academic year. Thisresearch is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in January - February 2020 through two cycles witheach cycle consisting of 4 stages of research, namely planning, implementation, observation andreflection. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class VII B of SMP Negeri 1 Mojoanyar. The resultsshowed that learning by applying a 4C-based scientific approach could improve the learning outcomes ofGrade VII B students of SMP Negeri 1 Mojoanyar on Social Sciences (IPS) lessons with human activitymaterial. These results can be seen from several indicators, including: [1] increasing the implementationof lesson plans from 3.08 in the first cycle to 3.50 in the second cycle, [2] student learning test resultsshow an increase in completeness classically 78.13 % in the first cycle to 87.50% in the second cycle , [3]student activity shows student-centered learning activities in both cycles with a percentage of the activityof 91.89% in the first cycle increased to 94.44 % in the second cycle.

Abstract

Using Predictive Storybooks to Foster Backward Counting: An Explanatory Sequential Study in Indonesian Kindergartens. Objectives: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the storybook "10 Bottles of Milk " as a learning medium for backward counting and to explore teachers' perceptions of its implementation. Methods: The study used a mixed-methods explanatory sequential design. Quantitatively, a pretest–posttest design was used with 150 kindergarten children from 10 institutions (A–J) in Surabaya, Indonesia, each comprising 15 children. The instrument, a backward counting test, was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Qualitatively, interviews were conducted with 10 prospective teachers who carried out storytelling activities using the "10 Bottles of Milk" ledger and analyzed using a theme, accompanied by a word cloud visualization (word cloud) to capture the dominant word concept. Findings: The quantitative results showed an increase of 2.66 points in the average score from the pretest to the posttest (p < 0.001), indicating that the storybook "10 Bottles of Milk " had a significant effect on children's backward counting ability. The qualitative results show that the storybook of 10 Bottles of Milk effectively makes children understand the concept of counting back from 10-1. The results of quantitative and qualitative research consistently confirm that the storybook "10 Bottles of Milk " is an effective learning medium for backward counting in early childhood. Conclusion: Overall, the combination of quantitative and qualitative results indicates that the storybook "10 Bottles of Milk" is an effective learning medium for stimulating backward counting skills in early childhood. The use of predictive books with attractive visuals encourages children's active involvement in storytelling activities and supports the development of early numeracy in kindergarten.Keywords: mixed method, explanatory sequential, backwards counting, early childhood.
