Abstract

Aromatherapy candles are one of the best-selling and popular products. Apart from being used as therapy by means of inhalers, it is also widely used as wedding souvenirs and souvenirs from certain areas by highlighting the distinctive aroma of that area. The Community Service Team chose an aromatherapy candle product as a product that has good business opportunities for mothers and young women in Mon Singet Hamlet, Kajhu Village, Aceh Besar District. Essential oils or essential oils used in making aromatherapy candles are lime and lemongrass, each of which has effectiveness for relaxation (anti-stress) and as a repellent or mosquito repellant. The results of the training show the enthusiasm of the participants in making aromatherapy candles with various attractive shapes and colors. In addition, the participants also understood the ingredients for making aromatherapy candles, their benefits and potential to be used as business opportunities.

Abstract

Berkebun adalah hobi yang dinikmati sebagian manusia. Dalam berkebun, perlu merawat tanaman agar terus tumbuh berkembang. Salah satu contoh merawat tanaman adalah dengan menyiram tanaman. Tetapi pemilik tanaman harus dapat mengetahui waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan penyiraman terhadap tanaman. Karena jika penyiraman dilakukan terus menerus akan mengakibatkan tanah menjadi terlalu basah, atau jika tidak disiram dalam waktu terlalu lama akan berdampak pada kesehatan pertumbuhan tanaman menjadi tidak sehat. Dan jika penyiraman dilakukan secara manual juga tidak efektif karena membutuhkan tenaga dan waktu manusia. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membuat Monitoring Penyiraman Tanaman Otomatis Menggunakan NodeMCU ESP8266 Berbasis Web untuk mempermudah urusan manusia dalam menyiram tanaman. Alat ini bisa disebut alat Internet of Things (IoT) karena terhubung langsung dengan internet sehingga dapat dikontrol dari mana saja dan kapan saja. Alat ini menggunakan Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor sebagai sensor untuk mendeteksi nilai kelembaban tanah. Alat ini akan menyiram tanaman secara otomatis jika sensor kelembaban tanah membaca nilai diatas atau sama dengan 550Pa, maka Pompa Air akan menyala secara otomatis. Data yang didapat dari alat ini seperti suhu udara, kelembapan udara, kondisi cuaca, kelembapan tanah dan kondisi tanah dapat dikirim ke pengguna melalui bot Telegram dan ditampilkan pada tampilan website. Sehingga pengguna bisa melakukan pemantauan dan penyiraman dari jarak jauh yang tidak membutuhkan energi dan tidak mengganggu kesibukan pengguna. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah Water Pump dapat menyala secara otomatis ketika Capacitive Soil Moisture Sensor mendeteksi nilai kelembapan tanah diatas atau samadengan 550Pa, sensor DHT11 berhasil membaca suhu udara, kelembapan udara dan kondisi cuaca, data yang terbaca oleh alat ini dapat ditampilkan ke website atau dikirimkan ke pengguna menggunakan bot Telegram dan pengguna dapat melakukan kontrol dan memantau terhadap alat dengan aplikasi Telegram.

Abstract

Peningkatan literasi kesehatan pada anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan langkah strategis untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang yang optimal, termasuk pemahaman tentang penggunaan obat secara tepat dan bertanggung jawab. Namun, observasi lapangan menunjukkan masih banyak anak yang belum memahami perbedaan golongan obat, cara penyimpanan yang benar, serta risiko penggunaan obat yang tidak sesuai aturan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, dilaksanakan program “Sahabat Sehat: Pemberdayaan Guru dalam Edukasi Pengenalan Obat kepada Anak Usia Sekolah dengan penggunaan media Motion Graphic, melalui tiga tahapan: sosialisasi kepada guru menggunakan media Motion Graphic, pemberdayaan guru untuk mengajarkan materi kepada siswa disertai pre-test dan post-test, serta monitoring dan evaluasi secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada nilai post-test dibandingkan pre-test, yang menandakan peningkatan pemahaman guru mengenai penggunaan obat yang tepat. Guru juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan kesiapan untuk menyalurkan pengetahuan kepada siswa dan masyarakat. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa program pemberdayaan berbasis media motion graphic efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan memiliki potensi dampak berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah. Simpulan, melalui pemberdayaan guru dalm proses edukasi pada anak usia sekolah dasar dengan penggunaan media motion graphic efektif untuk peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan obat yang benar.

Abstract

The Smart 5.0 era, characterized as the pinnacle of technological transformation, necessitates continuous improvement in individuals' comprehension and literacy competency, particularly in financial literacy. Financial literacy encompasses an individual's abilities, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to managing personal monetary assets. However, empirical evidence suggests that students, especially in disadvantaged areas, demonstrate a limited understanding of financial literacy. This Community Service was conducted with the objective of enhancing financial literacy comprehension among MAN students in the Karimun Regency. The activity took place in MAN Karimun Hall on August 26-27, 2024, with 220 students in attendance. The PKM method is carried out through face-to-face training activities by implementing the management functions of planning, organizing, implementing, controlling, and evaluating. The evaluation of this community service program the following outcomes: 1) The financial literacy strengthening program was implemented effectively in accordance with established plans. 2) Students demonstrated comprehension of the financial literacy material presented by the speakers. 3) Students also exhibited an understanding of the significance of developing financial literacy competencies (personal finance) from an early age in the Smart 5.0 era, enabling them to manage and plan their finances optimally in the future. This PKM still focuses on improving the understanding of financial management at the MAN student level, and further PKM needs to be carried out starting with elementary and junior high school students so that MAN students are not late in understanding financial literacy competencies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the usefulness and convenience of artificial intelligence technology on the accounting profession based on the perspective of accounting students. This research includes survey research with questionnaires. The population in this study were 100 students from the Accounting Study Program at STIE Sutaatmadjha Subang and Islamic University Antarbangsa Selangor Malaysia. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The sample in this study was 74 Accounting students from STIE Sutaatmadjha Subang and 26 Accounting students from the Islamic University Antarbangsa Selangor Malaysia. The data analysis technique uses Linear Regression Analysis techniques and independent simple t-test. The results of this research show that the usefulness and convenience of artificial intelligence have a positive effect on the accounting profession. The magnitude of the influence of the usefulness and convenience of Artificial Intelligence technology on the accounting profession is 33.5%.

Abstract

Many vocational high school students do not yet possess the proficiency to manage and analyze data optimally. This is due to a lack of understanding of software applications such as Microsoft Excel, which are very useful in business operations. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enhance students' competence in using Excel as a tool for analyzing business data at SMK Letris Indonesia 2. This study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through interviews with teachers at the school. This research was conducted based on direct practice (hands-on training) regarding the use of Excel, starting from basic functions to advanced features such as pivot tables, conditional formatting, and logic and statistical functions. This research is adjusted to the needs of the business and industrial world (DUDI) so that students can understand the application of Excel in the real world. This activity is in line with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar and the implementation of a project-based curriculum, which emphasizes the importance of mastering practical skills in addition to theoretical understanding. As a result, students can adapt to technological developments and innovate in the business field. In conclusion, training is still needed so that students can improve and develop their abilities

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of product quality and price on purchasing decisions for iPhone brand HP products in Sukabumi City. This type of research is categorized as a descriptive study using a quantitative approach. The population of this research is iPhone users in Sukabumi City. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire. Testing the quality of the instrument using the validity test and reliability test. The next test is testing the fulfillment of classical assumptions and multiple linear regression analysis, including t statistical testing and F statistics. The results of the study found that partially and simultaneously product quality and price variables have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision variables. Respondents view the performance of the HP iPhone brand is very good, the price is in accordance with the quality and benefits provided.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi melahirkan teknologi transportasi online yang mempertemukan penumpang sebagai pengguna jasa dengan supir dan mobil sebagai penyedia jasa transportasi dengan mudah via smartphone. Kualitas pelayanan dan harga sejauh ini dianggap menjadi faktor pertimbangan penting bagi konsumen untuk memilih salah satu diantara beberapa penyedia jasa ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan harga terhadap kepuasan pengguna Grab di Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini berdasarkan tingkat eksplanasinya digolongkan dalam penelitian asosiatif dan jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah pengguna layanan jasa ojeg online Grab-Bike. Sampel penelitian ditetapkan sebanyak 100 orang responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan harga berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna Grab di Kota Sukabumi. Pengguna merasa nyaman dengan keramahan dan etika pengendara Grab-Bike, namun masih menilai waktu pelayanan belum optimal sesuai dengan yang dijanjikan. Harga jasa Grab-Bike sesuai dengan manfaat yang dirasakan, namun masih belum lebih murah dibanding pesaing, sehingga pelanggan masih dapat berpindah-pindah ke jasa ojeg online lain.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the prevalence and factors that influence the incidence of retained placenta in dairy cows reared under an all-day cowshed housing system at KUD Tani Wilis, Sendang District, Tulungagung. This study used 216 dairy cows, that had already calved, that had been identified to have medical and reproductive records for data exploration. Data collected included the sex and weight of calf, single or twin calves, age of the dam, cowshed structure (floor, puddles on the floor, gutter, distance of cowshed to waste disposal, type of floor and roof, and sunlight exposure), feed of the dam (forage, concentrate, mineral supplements), frequency of retained placenta cases on calving intervals and days open of the dams. The prevalence of retained placenta was presented descriptively. Factors related to the retained placenta and its effect on calving interval and days open were analyzed by Chi-square test using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) software version 20 for Windows. The result showed that the prevalence rate of retained placenta was 19.91% of all dairy cow populations in the district. Furthermore, the sex of the calf, age of the dam, sunlight exposure, and the quantity of feed (forage and concentrate) were related to the retained placenta (p  <0.05). In addition, retained placenta increased along with extending of days open and calving interval. It could be concluded that the factors that influenced the prevalence of retained placenta were the sex of the calf, the age of the cow, the feed and concentrate, and the cowshed that is not facing the sun.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the administration of white guava (Psidium guajava L.) fruit juice on spermatozoa plasma membrane integrity (PMI), morphological abnormality, viability, and motility of lead acetate induced rats (Rattus norvegicus). Twenty-five male rats were divided into five groups: NC (negative control) group, rats were administered with distilled water twice daily at four-hour intervals; T0 (positive control) group, rats were administered daily with lead acetate 50 mg/kg bw and distilled water four hours later; T1, T2, and T3 groups, rats were administered daily with lead acetate 50 mg/kg bw and 0.5 mL of 25, 50, and 100% white guava fruit juice four hours later. The treatment of the rats was conducted for 14 days, and on day 15, all rats were sacrificed to assess the spermatozoa quality. Data was analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's multiple range test at a confidence level of 95%. The results showed that exposure to lead acetate (T0) caused lower spermatozoa PMI, viability, and motility as well as higher spermatozoa morphological abnormalities (p <0.05) compared to those of the T0 group. Administration of white guava fruit juice starting at a dose of 25% (T1) resulted in higher spermatozoa motility, viability, and PMI as well as lower spermatozoa morphological abnormalities (p <0.05) compared to rats in the T0 group. It could be concluded that white guava fruit juice maintained the spermatozoa quality of lead acetate induced rats.
