Abstract

This study aimed to measure the implementation of the practice in the womens clothing course in terms of the skill variable making construction/flat clothing patterns, applying the grading pattern and making womens clothing. This study used a quantitative approach. The research subjects were all students who programmed the womens clothing course. 43 students of the UNESA Fashion Design Education undergraduate study program. Data analysis used 2x4 factorial ANOVA followed by a comparison of the mean using SPSS software. The honest real difference test (Tukey test) was used to test the difference between the two data at the 5% significance level. Observations were made on two things, namely the length of time for making patterns and clothes, on industrial and custom-made clothing. Industrial clothing consists of one-pieces, blouses/tunics, skirts, and pants, while costume-made clothing consists of deuce pieces, long dresses, short dresses, and modern kebaya. The method of making patterns reads into two ways, namely flat and grading. The results showed that the grading method can speed up the time for making industrial and custom-made clothing patterns. The manufacture of one-piece industry clothing takes longer than others. Meanwhile, the long costume-made dress takes longer than the others

Abstract

This article aims to find out how food service business management subjects and industrial work practices affect the entrepreneurial competence of Vocational Education and Training (VET) students. The quantitative approach is to process the data and the numbers are obtained through statistical analysis. The data source used in this study is primary data or data obtained directly from respondents. This study aims to examine the effect of the independent variable (free), namely PUJB (X1), industrial work practice (X2) subjects on the dependent variable (dependent), namely entrepreneurial competence (Y). Researchers took a sample of 81 respondents. Data collection by giving questionnaires to respondents to all students majoring in marketing class XII at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. Based on the data from the results of research and tests that have been carried out, the conclusions are: (1) PUJB subjects affect the entrepreneurial competence of class XII students of the Catering Services study program at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. (2) Internship has an effect on the entrepreneurial competence of class XII students of the Catering Service study program at SMKN 2 Mojokerto. (3) PUJB and apprenticeship subjects affect the entrepreneurial competence of class XII students of the Catering Service study program at SMKN 2 Mojokerto.

Abstract

Employability skills are work skills that refer to general or non-technical competencies which include achievement, understanding and personal attributes that enable a person to get a job and be successful in the job of their choice.  employability skills can be formed from learning methods and student learning independence. The application of the learning method currently used is online learning due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the influence of student perceptions on online learning and independences learning on employability skills f&b service in the culinary expertise program of vocational high school. This is a quantitative of research with the type of expost facto research. Research method functions to examine specific populations or samples, data collection using questionnaire survey with the aim of testing predetermined hypotheses. The statistical data is multiple linear regression analysis and the hypothesis test are using T test and F test. The results are there is a significant contribution between perceptions of online learning and independent learning together on employability skills F&B Service in the Culinary Expertise Program of Vocational High School with a contribution value of 40.5%.

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) technology is a web-based technology developed to improve the learning process through proper planning, application and evaluation in educational institutions. The use of LMS in the learning process helps facilitate e-learning because it provides educational material without time or place constraints. SMK Ketintang is a vocational high school under the auspices of the Widya Dharma Surabaya Foundation. SMK Ketintang seeks to implement edu-learning, a Learning Management Systemplatform (LMS)equipped with chat andfeatures teleconference which are used as online learning media in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. Edu-learning was developed with the aim of being a bridge between teachers and students in organizing and implementing learning. The analysis of the use of edu-learning as anlearning medium online in the Covid-19 pandemic era has 4 (four) indicators, including: (1) ease of use; (2) delivery of information; (3) media attractiveness; (4) media features. The results of this study indicate that the level of effectiveness in using edu-learning reaches 79.5%. So it can be concluded that edu-learning is effectively used as an online learning medium in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

There is currently an imbalance between the skills mastered by vocational high school graduates with the skills needed in the labor market, especially employability skills, to maintain a job in various conditions and job requirements. This study aimed to examine the factors that affecting the employability skills of Beauty students namely career guidance, fieldwork practices, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy. The respondents consisted of 254 students in Beauty Expertise Program at Gerbang Kertosusila. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire with a Likert scale and the statistical method using structural equation modeling (SEM). This study found no significant effect of career guidance, fieldwork practice, emotional intelligence, and self-efficacy on employability skills among Beauty students. The study also showed that career guidance and emotional intelligence have no significant effect on self-efficacy. However, fieldwork practice has a significant effect on the self-efficacy of Beauty students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan media video tutorial dalam pembelajaran menjahit kerah Shanghai serta hasil belajar peserta didik di SMKN 8 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah one shot case study, yaitu penelitian tanpa pre-test dengan satu kali perlakuan berupa pemutaran video tutorial dan dilanjutkan post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah 32 siswa kelas XI Tata Busana. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media video tutorial terlaksana dengan sangat baik. Aktivitas guru memperoleh skor rata-rata 92% dan aktivitas siswa 93,3%. Rata-rata nilai hasil belajar kognitif mencapai 92,18%, dan aspek psikomotor 82,4%. Penerapan media video tutorial efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa dalam pembelajaran praktik menjahit kerah Shanghai.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the efficiency of the Pairs Check learning model with a scientific approach to students' mathematics learning results. The data on students' mathematics learning outcomes were acquired using the instrument at posttest. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were employed in the data analysis approach. The descriptive study found that the mathematics learning outcomes of 30 students taught using Pairs Check model using a scientific approach had an average value (mean) of 80,533. While the students who were taught using conventional learning consisting of 30 students showed an average score is 76,333. Consequently, it can be argued that learning mathematics using a pair check learning model with a scientific approach is more effective than conventional learning methods.

Abstract

Community-based economic development is a crucial strategy for achieving sustainable rural welfare. This community engagement program aims to assist the residents of Lembang Ma’kuanpare in establishing the Merah Putih Village Cooperative through a participatory approach and the utilization of local potential. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), integrating the processes of needs assessment, training, planning, organizational formation, and legal registration of the cooperative. The results show that participatory cooperative development enhances community understanding and involvement, fosters local leadership, and creates new social institutions that support village economic development. The established cooperative functions not only as a platform for collective enterprise but also as a driving force for social transformation based on local potential.

Abstract

Balai Kekarantinaan Kesehatan Labuhan Haji menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk beban kerja fisik dan mental yang dapat berdampak pada kinerja yang mengakibatkan kelelahan kerja yang memicu kecelakaan kerja. BPS Aceh tahun 2021, 58%, tenaga kerja kesehatan mengalami stres kerja akibat beban kerja yang mengakibatkan rendahnya kualitas kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban kerja pada staf BKK Wilker Labuhan Haji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian menggunakan 4 informan, terdiri dari kepala wilayah kerja BKK sebagai informan kunci, 2 informan utama yang terdiri dari staf perawat dan sanitarian, dan 1 informan pendukung berperan sebagai staf pengganti. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan tugas dan fungsi BKK Labuhan Haji ada kekurangan SDM yang menyebabkan beban kerja yang berlebih akibat kerja yang merangkap, pelaksanaan kerja malam menimbulkan beban kerja karena jadwal yang diberikan lebih dari jadwal, pelaksanaan sistem kerja bergilir tidak menimbulkan beban kerja karena sudah berjalan dengan efektif dan meringankan beban kerja, dan pelaksanaan jam kerja bertambah menimbulkan beban kerja. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kerja malam dan jam kerja bertambah menimbulkan beban kerja pada staf BKK Labuhan Haji. Namun, sistem kerja bergilir tidak menimbulkan beban.

Abstract

Stunting adalah kondisi di mana pertumbuhan anak terganggu akibat kurangnya asupan gizi yang terjadi dalam jangka waktu tertentu khususnya pada masa krusial 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan seorang anak. Permasalahan ini telah menjadi prioritas utama dalam RPJMN 2020–2024 dengan target penurunan prevalensi stunting hingga mencapai 14% pada tahun 2024. Daerah yang masih menunjukkan angka stunting yang cukup tinggi adalah Kabupaten Aceh Selatan, di mana Kecamatan Kluet Utara mencatat prevalensi sebesar 41,6%. Penyuluh Keluarga Berencana (KB) memiliki peran penting dalam program pendampingan keluarga berisiko stunting, namun efektivitas sistem kerja mereka dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan sistem kerja penyuluh KB dalam mendampingi keluarga yang berisiko stunting di Kecamatan Kluet Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan studi potong lintang (cross-sectional). Sebanyak 53 penyuluh KB dijadikan sampel penelitian melalui teknik pengambilan secara acak (random sampling). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan (p = 0,00) sikap (p = 0,03), serta motivasi (p = 0,02) dengan pola kerja penyuluh KB. Dari temuan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan motivasi memiliki hubungan dengan sistem kerja para penyuluh KB dalam mendampingi keluarga yang berisiko mengalami stunting. Oleh karena itu, disarankan adanya peningkatan kapasitas melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan kompetensi bagi penyuluh KB guna memperkuat efektivitas upaya penanggulangan stunting.
