Abstract

Background: Emerging adulthood is characterized by self-image exploration and emotional instability, where insufficient emotion regulation may result in impulsive fashion purchases, highlighting a significant issue in this developmental phase. Objective: This research is to analyze emotion regulation and impulsive buying in fashion purchases in emerging adulthood. Method: The purposive sampling technique was used with 107 respondents, using emotion regulation scale and Impulsive Buying Tendency Scale to statistic test. The analysis was conducted using JASP version 0.19.3.0 with linear regression technique, moderation, and independent samples t-test at 5% significance level. Results: Emotional regulation has a negative effect with a value of (β = -0.267) on impulsive buying, and emotional regulation has a statistically significant difference on gender with a value of (p = 0.013), while impulsive buying has no different value on gender with a value of (p = 0.717). Finally, the value of (B = -0.543, p = 0.033) on gender moderation was obtained. Conclusion: The conclusion is that emotional regulation can reduce impulsive buying, with the same level of impulsivity between genders.

Abstract

Early marriage in Indonesia is a significant reproductive health issue, particularly for adolescent girls. This study aims to explore the impact of early marriage on reproductive health and the contributing factors. Early marriage, defined as marriage before the age of 19, can lead to various health problems, including a high risk of pregnancy complications and mental health issues. Data indicates that Indonesia has a high rate of early marriage, with the highest prevalence in several provinces. The method used is a literature review analyzing 30 relevant scientific journals from 2015 to 2025. The findings indicate that early marriage is associated with an increased risk of pregnancy complications, disturbed mental health, and low knowledge about reproductive health among adolescent girls. Further efforts are needed in reproductive health education and policies to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Introduction: Osteoporosis is a systematic bone disease marked by low bone mass and deterioration of bone microarchitecture, increasing the risk of fractures. Often undetected until a fracture occurs, osteoporosis can cause significant physical, psychological, and social impacts. Objective: This literature review aims to identify risk factors, impacts, and prevention strategies for osteoporosis based on 30 scientific articles published between 2015–2025. Method: The study used a literature review method by reviewing and summarizing relevant articles and then analyzing them narratively. Results and Discussion: The results show that osteoporosis is closely related to age, estrogen decline, inactive lifestyle, low calcium and vitamin D intake, glucocorticoid usage, low body mass index, and caffeine consumption. Prevention includes proper nutrition education, healthy lifestyle, bone density screening, and osteoporosis-specific exercises, which can aid in reducing the risk of fractures. Conclusion: Osteoporosis is a significant health concern that can be effectively prevented and managed, emphasizing the importance of prevention and early detection to enable individuals to maintain a healthy and independent life.

Abstract

The post-millennial generation or currently known as the Z generation, is the generation born in the 2000s, the future generation born in the Internet age. This post-millennial generation does not like rigid rules, tends to think creatively and openly and is very easy to comment on. An important point in dealing with the post-millennial generation by providing specific direction for understanding ethics in social life. In the learning process, post millennial generation has visual characteristics, tries and sees the results of the process, wants the teacher as a facilitator, learning starts with "how", and is very easy to get information / knowledge. This is a challenge in determining the right learning strategy for them. With the problem-based learning method it is expected that students / vocational high school (SMK) students will be able to create something different to produce rewards in the form of money as well as personal satisfaction and freedom. Students are required to understand the importance of maintaining health by maintaining and protecting food hygiene, through controlling environmental factors that can or can cause illness and health problems.

Abstract

This study aimed to measure the implementation of the practice in the womens clothing course in terms of the skill variable making construction/flat clothing patterns, applying the grading pattern and making womens clothing. This study used a quantitative approach. The research subjects were all students who programmed the womens clothing course. 43 students of the UNESA Fashion Design Education undergraduate study program. Data analysis used 2x4 factorial ANOVA followed by a comparison of the mean using SPSS software. The honest real difference test (Tukey test) was used to test the difference between the two data at the 5% significance level. Observations were made on two things, namely the length of time for making patterns and clothes, on industrial and custom-made clothing. Industrial clothing consists of one-pieces, blouses/tunics, skirts, and pants, while costume-made clothing consists of deuce pieces, long dresses, short dresses, and modern kebaya. The method of making patterns reads into two ways, namely flat and grading. The results showed that the grading method can speed up the time for making industrial and custom-made clothing patterns. The manufacture of one-piece industry clothing takes longer than others. Meanwhile, the long costume-made dress takes longer than the others
