Abstract

First Aid is an aid for emergency treatment of victims before help is provided by medical personnel. Injuries can occur anywhere, the location of injuries often occurs especially in the home and school environment. School-age children are a group that is vulnerable to injury, especially when entering celementary school. Injuries can become an emergency case and cause serious injuries and even death if not handled properly. To prevent injuries in children from getting worse, one of the methods that can be used to treat is the RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation) method, which can first rest the injured part, apply an ice pack to reduce swelling, bandage the injured skin and elevate the injured area above the height of the heart area. First Aid community service with the RICE method at Sekolah Indonesia Singapura (SIS) is a positive activity that aims to increase children's knowledge and ability to perform first aid when injured or when children know other people are injured. The method used is counseling about first aid for injuries using the RICE method, demonstrating and distributing leaflets. The results of the analysis of children's ability to understand first aid material when injured with the RICE method before and after education is 30 (with an average pre test score of 70 and post test 100).  The increase in participants' knowledge proves that with this counseling participants become more aware of what is related to first aid during injuries that can be treated with the RICE method to prevent more severe injuries. Abstract

Desa Jatian di Kecamatan Pakusari Kabupaten Jember yang saat ini data pertumbuhan ekonomi Desa masih 26,91%, pendidikan masih 28,73% dan peduli lingkungan masih 20% berdasarkan SDGs. Sementara itu Desa Jatian memiliki potensi Desa berupa limbah serbuk kayu yang melimpah yang sudah dimanfaatkan petani jamur tiram untuk budidaya jamur tiram di Desa Jatian. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan pembuatan aneka sosis sehat berbahan jamur tiram (Pleourotus Ostreatus) dan ayam boiler untuk Ibu UMKM di Desa Jatian, Pakusari, Jember. Tahapan pengabdian antara lain melakukan persiapan, sosialisasi progam, edukasi atau penyuluhan, pelatihan pembuatan produk, pendampingan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini berhasil diikuti oleh 15 pelaku UMKM. Pada tahap pelatihan mereka juga sangat antisias dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan hingga selesai. Pelaku UMKM juga berhasil melakukan pembuatan produk sosis yang dikerjakan secara mandiri di rumah masing-masing sebagai bahan dasar evalusi dari tenaga pendidik. Hasil evalusi menunjukkan keberhasilan program ini yang di tunjukkan dengan rata-rata presentase postes dari semua peserta pelaku UMKM bernilai baik (76-100%).

Abstract

This program's goal is to enhance the understanding and skills of the children of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia in recognizing and understanding the Rupiah currency. Through an interactive and creative approach, this program combines information technology, mock money, and hands-on teaching to 32 children in Malaysia.. The results of this program include children's ability to demonstrate methods of distinguishing between natural and imitation currency, an understanding of how to care for money properly, the ability to compare the value of Ringgit and Rupiah currency, and the ability to recognize, sort and count the amount of Rupiah currency. This program provides practical knowledge of currency and engages children in activities supporting essential financial skills development. With the involvement of the Indonesian Young Spirit, this program is a form of positive contribution in equipping the children of migrant workers with relevant knowledge to face life in Malaysian society.

Abstract

Implementasi inovasi keterampilan membaca permulaan melalui media kartu huruf terintegrasi poster bergambar merupakan suatu inovasi yang diimplementasikan di SDN Kaliwungu 02 yang dilatar belakanhi oleh peserta didik kelas I yang beberapa diantaranya masih merasa kesulitan dalam menghafal dan melafalkan huruf. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya inovasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Inovasi tersebut adalah penggabungan dua media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, media yang diimplementasikan adalah media kartu huruf terintegrasi poster bergambar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi inovasi keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan media kartu huruf terintegrasi poster bergambar bagi kelas I sekolah dasar serta mengetahui kesulitan yang dialami oleh guru dan solusi untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta validasi data dengan triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di SDN Kaliwungu 02 memperoleh hasil implementasi dilakukan setiap pembelajaran tematik, dengan menggunakan metode MMP menggunakan media kartu huruf terintegrasi poster bergambar yang dikaitkan dengan pembelajaran dan kehidupan seahri-hari serta dibagi 8 kelompok dalam implementasinya.

Abstract

This study examines the factors influencing premarital sexual behavior among high school students at SMAN 1 Wonoayu. Findings reveal significant associations between knowledge, religiosity, peer influence, and technology with premarital sexual behavior. Recommendations include enhancing coordination between healthcare professionals and educational institutions to improve awareness and involving relevant government sectors in addressing this issue. Highlight: Factors: knowledge, religiosity, peers, technology affect premarital behavior. Cross-sectional study: high school students, analyze influencing factors. Abstract

This study aims to analyze, describe and interpret what factors influence women's empowerment so that it can improve the family's economic welfare. This study is a descriptive study using structured interviews. Subjects were 30 female batik entrepreneurs in Pejagoan and Alian Districts. The results show both women entrepreneurs run businesses to help the family economy and still have little business knowledge, so the local government still has to provide assistance for the progress of the batik industry, especially those owned by women.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of public knowledge, awareness and attitudes towards halal medicines. The sample for this research was 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling method in Yogyakarta. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed via social media and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results showed that the variables of knowledge, awareness and attitude were 61.4% regarding the halalness of medicines. Meanwhile, other factors contributed 38.6%, the rest was influenced by other variables. So, the knowledge variable has an insignificant influence, while awareness and attitude have a positive and significant influence on the halalness of medicines. This shows that Muslim students tend to still have low knowledge regarding understanding the halal nature of medicines. Apart from that, awareness and attitude also have different positive influences on the halalness of medicines. These findings have implications for the government, pharmaceutical factories and related agencies to pay more attention to the halalness of medicines in an effort to maintain public health and public trust. On the other hand, this research also contributes to researchers in the pharmaceutical field by enriching the literature regarding factors that influence the halalness of medicines.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model using the "Market Place Activity" learning media on students' independence in learning mathematics. This research uses a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Data collection is done quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data is collected through pre-tests and post-tests, testing for normality using paired t-tests and gain tests. Qualitative data is collected through observations and interviews with the students. The research subjects are 30 students from grade 1. The results of this research show that the quantitative data is normally distributed with a significant value of 0.187 > 0.05 for the pre-test and 0.080 > 0.05 for the post-test. Then, the paired sample t-test yields a significant 2-tailed result of 0.00 This indicates that the difference is not occurring by chance. Furthermore, the gain test yields a significant mean value of 0.8789, indicating that the average test results are at a high level. The observation results show that using the CTL model with the MPA learning media in mathematics enables students to become more active in their learning. The interview with the students also reveals that the use of the CTL model with the MPA media helps students understand the learning material and promotes their independence in the learning process. This research concludes that the use of the CTL learning model with the market place activity learning media has a positive influence on students' independence in learning mathematics.

Abstract

One of the main problems in classroom learning. Solving mathematical problems is still low. The purpose of this study is to explain the potential problems of problem-based teaching mats. Necessity. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. In the 21st Century, education activists are required to present teaching materials that can be used independently and are easy for students to access. This research aims to obtain information about learning media, learning methods, and students' mathematical literacy skills. The quantitative descriptive analysis used in this study was carried out by way of a survey and using several literature studies. The results of this study found that students still have difficulty in associating their abilities with many problems that exist in mathematics, social problems, and applying mathematical concepts. The media and learning methods that have been used have not been able to stimulate students' mathematical literacy.
