Abstract

The beauty industry in Indonesia is experiencing rapid growth, driven by factors such as a large young population and increasing purchasing power. The government is also encouraging improvements in the supply chain of raw materials to increase the national added value. Additionally, advancements in technology and the rise of social media and digital platforms have provided opportunities for the promotion and dissemination of beauty products. Influencer marketing and online advertising have become popular strategies for promoting beauty products. These techniques have been found to have a positive impact on consumer purchase decisions. Green brand knowledge has also gained importance in the beauty industry, as consumers are becoming more conscious of environmental issues and seeking sustainable and eco-friendly products. Therefore, this study aims to examine the impact of influencer marketing, online advertising, and green brand knowledge on the purchase decisions of green beauty products. The study utilizes a quantitative research approach and analyses data from 100 consumers. The findings suggest that influencer marketing and online advertising, have a direct impact on purchasing decisions, while green brand awareness has an insignificant impact on purchase decisions. The study recommends that companies focus on creating high-quality influencer content and implementing effective online marketing strategies to enhance the impact of these techniques. Additionally, companies should choose influencers and platforms aligned with their target audience. The study acknowledges limitations in sample size and research method and suggests further research to validate the findings. Abstract

The primary challenge in measuring patient satisfaction lies in its conceptual and operational complexity. Patient satisfaction is often regarded as a subjective concept, influenced by individual expectations, experiences, and perceptions of the healthcare services received. This literature review aims to examine and summarize the impact of hospital image on patient satisfaction based on studies conducted in various countries across multiple continents. The PRISMA approach was employed in this systematic literature review, with articles collected from Google Scholar, Crossref, and PubMed databases. The articles selected were published between 2010-2024.  An in-depth analysis was conducted on 11 selected articles.  The results of the review indicate that studies on hospital image and patient satisfaction often incorporate other variables such as service quality, loyalty, and trust. Research from diverse regions, including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, demonstrates that hospital image significantly influences patient satisfaction. However, findings in Indonesia reveal a contrasting result, where hospital image does not affect patient satisfaction. These differences reflect unique cultural contexts, such as the importance of interpersonal relationships in Iran, ethnic diversity in Malaysia, or the high value placed on healthcare quality in Taiwan.  This review further underscores the importance of collaborative efforts among governments, hospital administrators, healthcare professionals, and marketers to enhance sustainable service quality and meet patients' evolving needs.

Abstract

This study investigates how Customer Relationship Orientation (CRO) and Digital Banking Orientation (DBO) affect Marketing Performance (MP) through the mediating role of Marketing Research and Development Cooperation (MRDC) at Bank BJB. The population consisted of 1,762 marketing and R&D employees in Indonesia, with 316 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that both CRO and DBO significantly influence MRDC, which in turn mediates their effect on MP. Among the dimensions, Strategic Digital Commitment had the strongest contribution within DBO, while the technology aspect was dominant in CRO. These findings highlight the critical role of marketing–R&D collaboration and digital integration to increase marketing performance. The study offers practical implications for managers to strengthen digital-based strategies, improve product/service innovation, and enhance customer engagement. It also provides theoretical contributions by linking relationship orientation, digital orientation, and R&D cooperation in the banking sector, and also giving suggestion on directions for future research.

Abstract

Risk fluctuations, including such changes in interest rates, exchange rates, and commodity prices, have a negative impact on business performance and can be mitigated by hedging. Derivative instruments are the preferred method for hedging. Internal hedging calculations take into account size, growth prospects, financial distress, leverage, and liquidity. This study's goal is to examine the variables that influence the hedging decisions of businesses. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. The most influential factors in determining a company's hedging strategy are its size and growth prospects, according to the research. The greatest effect comes from the company's size and growth potential in order to influence the company's hedging policies. Other factors such as leverage, liquidity, financial distress, market depth risk are not so dominant in influencing the company's hedging decisions. However, several variables or factors that are not the dominant factor will be important according to the industry or line of business of each company.Recommendations for further research can be carried out by analyzing the company's external factors that influence hedging decisions.
