Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to find out the development of KOKOSIS learning media (Ecosystem Component Box) on the theme 8 sub-theme 1 grade V at UPTD SDN Panyaksagan Klampis; (2) to know the validity, effectiveness, and attractiveness of KOKOSIS learning media (Ecosystem Component Box) at the theme 8 sub-theme 1 grade V at UPTD SDN Panyaksagan Klampis. This development research uses the Borg and Gall development model. Based on the results of the research conducted, the results showed that the average percentage of KOKOSIS learning media’s validity was 89%, hence it can be categorized as very valid. The effectiveness of the KOKOSIS learning media which is being measured from the teacher observations is 100%, hence can be categorized as very active. Meanwhile, the result of the observation on the students’ activity is 98% and can also be categorized as very active. The percentage of classical completeness is 91%, hence it can be categorized as completed. In conclusion, the KOKOSIS learning media can be effectively used in learning process. Furthermore, the media’s attractiveness which is measured by the percentage of student questionnaire response shows that 97% of the students claimed it as attractive, thus it can be categorized as very interesting. Thus, it can be concluded that the KOKOSIS learning media is valid, effective and interesting to be applied in the Theme 8 Sub-theme 1 of ecosystem components topic for V grader at UPTD SDN Panyaksagan Klampis.

Abstract

Organizing innovative and quality education in order to produce professional and competitive primary school educators is the vision of the elementary school teacher education program in Trunojoyo Madura University. One form of educational innovation is to develop learning media that supports educators. Learning media is important in the learning process. The presence of learning media is able to bridge the obscurity of the material presented. One of the materials needed for its delivery is animal metamorphosis. Characteristics of animal metamorphosis material are difficult to present in class and in a short amount of time. The objectives of the research carried out are to: (1) produce learning media for metamorphosis of animals and interactive multimedia in elementary science subjects; and (2) learning the feasibility level of learning media for animal metamorphosis and interactive multimedia in elementary science subjects. This research uses research and development methods. The development model used is 4D. The research subjects were third semester students in the Natural Sciences elementary school. The instruments of data collection used consisted of questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the metamorphosis of animal media and interactive multimedia was appropriate to be used with very good categories in terms of media and material aspects.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of student management that has been applied through extracurricular activities. The research was conducted using several research instruments, such as observation, interviews, distribution of questionnaires and documentation. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of extracurricular activities in improving non-academic achievements, especially since many students are currently less interested in participating in extracurricular activities. The subjects of the research included the principal, extracurricular activity supervisors, and students from grades V, V, and VI, with 15 students selected from each grade. The research was conducted at SDN Jaddih over a period of approximately 1 month. From the research, it was found that there is an effectiveness of extracurricular activities at SDN Jaddih 5 in improving non-academic achievements. SDN Jaddih 5 successfully became the overall champion in the scouting competition. In addition, students benefit from the existence of these extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kemampuan pada guru untuk membudayakan literasi menulis. Pelatihan ini dilakukan berkolaborasi dengan Mahasiswa KKN 31 UTM dalam mengembangkan budaya literasi menulis bagi guru sekolah dasar di wilayah Kwanyar Bangkalan. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah guru sekolah dasar SDN Janteh 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan. Melalui kegiatan ini membantu mengembangkan terciptanya suasana akademik yang literat, yang mampu membuat komunitas sekolah antusias untuk belajar dan berliterasi khususnya bagi guru guru di SDN Janteh 1 Kwanyar. Output dari pelatihan ini adalah prototipe laporan penelitian PTK dan Pendampingan penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah Guru Janteh 1 Kwanyar Bangkalan menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of third-grade students in the Civics Education (PKn) subject on the material of Indonesian Cultural Wealth through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, which was carried out in two cycles at SDN Bilaporah 01 with 21 students as the research subjects. Data collection techniques were conducted through learning outcome tests and learning observation sheets. The results of the study show that the implementation of the PjBL model is able to improve students' learning outcomes. The completeness percentage of learning increased from 86% in cycle 1 to 95.24% in cycle 2, while the class average increased from 88.57 to 91.9. In addition, students became more active and enthusiastic during the learning process. Thus, the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is effective for improving students' learning outcomes in Civics Education at elementary school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of learning media that support delivering figurative language material in an engaging and interactive way for 5th-grade Indonesian language classes. The study aims to develop the MajasSmart Flashcard media and to find out its level of validity, effectiveness, and attractiveness. The research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. The results show that the MajasSmart Flashcard media received a validity percentage of 80% from media experts, 77.5% from material experts, and 87.5% from instructional design experts, so it falls into the valid to very valid category. The effectiveness of the media is shown by a 100% mastery of learning in students, 100% teacher activity observation results, and 98.66% student activity, categorized as very effective. The attractiveness of the media is shown by a 100% response from teachers and 95.5% from students, categorized as very appealing. Based on these results, the MajasSmart Flashcards are declared valid, effective, and attractive, making them suitable for use as a learning media for Indonesian language material on figures of speech for fifth-grade students.

Abstract

by word card media for fourth-grade students at SDN Gebang 01 Bangkalan, Madura. The Make a Match model was chosen because no previous research has integrated Make a Match with word card media specifically for new vocabulary learning in regular elementary schools, particularly in the coastal area of Bangkalan which is geographically vulnerable to natural disasters. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 17 students. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that student activity increased from 69.2% in cycle I to 92.0% in cycle II. Learning outcomes also improved from an average score of 55% in the pre-research stage to 68.2% in cycle I and 93.5% in cycle II. Learning mastery increased from 17.6% to 94.1%. In addition, students showed more positive responses toward the learning process. Therefore, the Make a Match learning model assisted by word card media was effective in improving students’ understanding of new vocabulary about disaster mitigation.
