Abstract

This research aims to complement existing research regarding the leadership of Khulafaur Rasyidin in Islamic civilization which is described comprehensively and explained partially. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach that refers to several sources of research data and data collection techniques in the form of a study of Islamic civilization during the time of Khulafaur Rasyidin. Data collection was carried out by searching and reconstructing from various sources such as articles in journals, books, and previous research that were relevant to the research study, which were then analyzed in a primordial manner. The focus of the research that will be addressed is Khulafaur Rasyidin's leadership in Islamic civilization. The data collection technique used in this research is the library research method, namely library research with the data analysis technique used in this research is the hermeneutic method. In this research, it can be concluded that during the time of the Rasyidin khulafaur, namely Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, and Ali bin Abi Talib, they had differentiated characteristics regarding their leadership during the Islamic civilization period where Abu Bakar implemented a model of government that had the characteristics of a monarchy, similar to a kingdom system, with himself as Caliph or head of government. Umar had an administrative system which was mostly an economic system and judicial organization. Then Usman was the first to form a navy which succeeded in expanding Islamic power to various regions. Meanwhile, Caliph Ali took a political policy that was said to be quite risky, because this policy caused hatred from high-ranking officials during Usman's caliphate.

Abstract

Along with advances in technology and understanding of the learning process, the Brain learning model emerged Based Learning is one of the innovative steps in improving the quality of learning. This research aims to see whether some differences and interactions occur in student learning outcomes which that implications for students' initial mathematical abilities and the basic competencies learned by students. This research was carried out at SDN Batujajar 3 with a quantitative approach. This research method uses survey methods and ANOVA test analysis to see the relationship between mathematics learning outcomes using the BBL model, Basic Competencies consisting of KD 3.3, KD 3.4, and KD 3.5, and students' Initial Mathematical Ability with high, medium, and low classifications. This research instrument uses a test to test the data analysis requirements used, consisting of a normality test using Kolomogorov-Smirnov and a homogeneity test assisted by SPSS version 26. In this study, it was found that there were differences in students' mathematics learning outcomes using the brain learning model-based learning on the basic competencies learned by students and students' initial mathematical abilities, but there is no significant interaction between them. This shows that there is a significant difference in students' mathematics learning outcomes between KD 3.3 and 3.4 and 3.3 and 3.5, but this does not happen at KD 3.4 and 3.5. Apart from initial mathematical abilities, students in the categories of high and medium, high and low, and medium and low obtained significant differences between the three. Thus, it is hoped that further research can have implications for students' level of cognition and geography regarding mathematics learning outcomes using the brain learning model-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning method supported by the Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly at SDN Karangtanjung 2, with a population of all students at the school and a sample of 26 students from class V. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and non-random sampling technique. The instruments used are subjective tests that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis prerequisite tests include descriptive statistics to provide an overview of the mathematics learning outcomes at each school, with mean and standard deviation values. The results of the study show a significant increase in the average score of students from 53.23 (pretest) to 74.27 (posttest), with a decrease in standard deviation, indicating improved homogeneity of results. The normality test shows that the data are normally distributed, while the paired sample t-test results (Sig. = 0.000) confirm a significant difference in students' abilities before and after the lesson. The TPS method allows students with varying levels of ability to support each other in understanding the material, thus improving learning outcomes uniformly. Therefore, this method can be recommended as an effective learning strategy to enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
