Abstract

Learning the Indonesian language and literature still needs to be optimal. Learning needs to get the attention of teachers and educational observers. Good learning makes students happy and comfortable and gets optimal learning results. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning in class X high school students with poetry material. The method used is an experimental method with the type of pretest-posttest. Respondents who participated in the study were 42 students. Research activities were carried out from January to March 2019. The study's results stated an increase of 4.7464 when students used cooperative learning. The learning process begins with forming groups and interactions between students and teachers. This method can provide added value before and after using the method.

Abstract

Abstract:Entrepreneurship is a field that is still less attractive to adolescents. But the efforts thathave been carried out by the government and the private sector have been many. It still needs thesupport of many parties, including community service activities carried out in Islamic boardingschools. The purpose of community service activities is to instill entrepreneurial values early on instudents. It is hoped that in the future students will become reliable and professionalentrepreneurs. This activity was carried out from April to July 2020. The method used was themethod of practice and providing counseling and monitoring of implementation. Students whoparticipated were orphaned students at the Ciputat Arrahman Foundation Tangerang, totaling 23students. The results of this activity indicate that students have been able to make several souvenirmodels from paper. The target results for each group are 100%, 80% and 70%. Students are giventhe opportunity to deliver the results of their products in the pesantren environment, some are alsosold in the cooperative and to the surrounding community. Community response to the results ofthe students good and positiveKeywords: Entrepreneurship, Empowerment, OrphansAbstrak:Kewirausahaan merupakan bidang yang masih kurang diminati oleh kalangan remaja.Namun upaya yang sudah dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah dan pihak swasta sudah banyak. Masihperlu dukungan banyak pihak,termasuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakadilakukan di pondokpesantren. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk menanamkan nilai – nilaikewirausahaan sejak dini pada siswa. Diharapkan pada waktu yang akan datang para siswamenjadi wirausahawan yang handal dan professional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Aprilsampai dengan Juli 2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode praktek dan pemberianpenyuluhan serta monitoring pelaksanaan. Siswa yang ikut adalah siswa yatim piatu pada yayasanArrahman Ciputat Tangerang, sebanyak 23 siswa. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswasudah mapu membuat beberapa model souvenir dari kertas. Hasil target masing – masingkelompok sebesar 100%, 80 % dan 70%. Siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk meamsarkan hasilproduk mereka di dalam lingungan pesantren, sebagian juga dijual dikoperasi dan kepadamasyarakat sekitar. Respon masyarakat kepada hasil dari para santriwan baik dan positif.Kata Kunci : Kewirausahaan, Pemberdayaan, siswa Yatim Piatu

Abstract

Writing was an ability that needs to be developed from an early age. The ability to write was still an obstacle for teachers and students. This was due to less than optimal reading interest. This activity took place from June to May 2021 . Activity aimed to produce a collection of short stories from the students of SMP Kanzul Mubarok. Activity was attended by 20 students and 3 teachers of SMP Kanzul Mubaarok Bekasi City. The result of the activity was the publication of short stories with characters made by students. The title of a collection of short stories created by students entitled: Can I stay, rays of guidance from the eastern horizon, from Jogya to Malaysia, and true friendship, Sabrina: a glimpse of a travel story. The final result was not everything, students' ability to write must be continuously honed and trained so that the ability to choose diction, grammar and imagination was strong. It could be concluded that students' writing talents and interests had different levels. In writing, students had different abilities, so that teachers must be able to accommodate these various abilities. Students were more excited when their short stories could be published, and given an ISBN

Abstract

  Kewirausahaan digital menjadi fokus utama di Indonesia, terutama di kalangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM), yang sering menghadapi tantangan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan pemasaran digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemuda melalui pelatihan kewirausahaan digital di Jl. Raya Mauk Raya, Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang, dengan melibatkan 21 peserta dari Karang Taruna. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis masalah, persiapan materi, dan pelaksanaan pelatihan dalam tiga sesi, masing-masing selama 1,5 jam, yang meliputi dasar-dasar e-commerce, pemasaran digital, manajemen operasional, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan rata-rata skor 70 untuk pengetahuan teori dan 76 untuk praktik, dengan sebagian besar peserta mampu memahami materi. Meskipun terdapat lima peserta yang memerlukan pendampingan tambahan, antusiasme tinggi terlihat selama pelatihan. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pendampingan berkelanjutan setelah pelatihan untuk mengoptimalkan penerapan keterampilan yang telah dipelajari serta memperkuat dukungan dari komunitas dan pemerintah dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan digital di kalangan pemuda. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan ekonomi lokal dan menciptakan generasi wirausaha yang adaptif.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang menekankan pada pembelajaran berbasis praktik, seperti simulasi bisnis, pembuatan produk, atau proyek kelompok, cenderung lebih efektif karena anak dapat mengalami langsung proses kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dan guru dalam pendidikan bsinis dan kewirausahaan anak dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pendidikan bisnis dan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan dengan kajian pustaka. Langkah penelitian meliputi penentuan topik hingga menyusun laporan akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian dapat dicapai dengan proses pembelajaran bisnis dan kewiraushaan, meski ke dua hal tersebut mempunyai perlakuan yang berbeda namun yang terkait satu dengan lainya. Orang tua dan guru mempunyai peran untuk mengembangkan konsep, kreativitas, belajar tentang uang, simulasi bisnis dan merencanakan kegiatan sederhana. Orang tua sebaiknya mempunyai program dan kegiatan khusus dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan untuk anak.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education requires dynamic and contemporary learning methods. Design thinking is a promising approach to fostering independence, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the design thinking method in entrepreneurship learning and to analyze its implementation process in vocational high schools. This research employed an experimental design using a pretest-posttest model within the same class. A total of 41 vocational high school students participated as the study sample. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-tests in SPSS 26 to assess the impact of the intervention on students’ entrepreneurial competencies. Findings indicate that the design thinking method is moderately effective in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial skills. The learning process is conducted both inside and outside the classroom, fostering an experiential learning environment. Students demonstrate improved innovation and critical thinking skills, particularly in identifying and addressing problems based on customer feedback. The study highlights the potential of design thinking as an effective pedagogical approach for entrepreneurship education in vocational schools. By engaging students in real-world problem-solving, this method enhances their adaptability and responsiveness to market needs. Future research could explore its long-term impact and applicability in different educational settings.

Abstract

Learning to write for some students is still difficult. Writing requires practice and skill acquisition like vocabulary. Appropriate and effective methods also determine the success of learning to write. One method that emphasizes collaborative learning is the picture-to-picture cooperative method. The research in this paper used the Kemmis and McTaggart classroom action methods through action, observation, and reflection. The students who participated were 37 students in class 9 of Mts Nurul Hikmah Bekasi. The research used 2 cycles. In the first and second cycles, the researcher provided explanatory writing material through the picture-to-picture method. The theme of the picture is the picture of natural phenomena. There is an increase of 3 points between cycles 1 and 2. Learning to write through the picture-to-picture method can improve the results of students' ability to write explanatory texts. Teachers are expected to be able to complete this method with several other media, such as augmented reality applications, power points, and several other media. Hence, there are variations in teaching in the classroom.

Abstract

This article describes the use of Scrabble as a learning media to improve Junior High School students’ writing skills in explanation texts. The study addresses the low interest and writing ability of students and emphasizes the need for effective and appropriate learning media. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with 94 students from three Junior High Schools in Bogor as respondents. The results showed an improvement in students’ writing skills across cycles 2 and 3, with a total improvement of 8 points. Students also became more confident and faster in constructing sentences within explanation texts. The teaching and learning process involved opening, core, and closing activities. Through Scrabble media, students could transform words into coherent paragraphs. It is recommended that teachers develop other similar or innovative learning media, ensuring adequate preparation of materials, time, and guided instruction.

Abstract

Learning in the listening aspect is still challenging for middle and upper level students due to weak vocabulary, structure, and speaking skills, and many students often struggle with comprehensive listening. This study aimed to determine the increase in learning outcomes after utilizing YouTube as a learning media, measure the impact, and describe the learning process using YouTube media. The study used an experimental method with pretest and posttest only, involving 35 students of class VI SMP Alikhlas Bekasi. Data were collected from tests before and after treatment using YouTube media, processed with SPSS 20, and tested for normality and homogeneity before using a paired sample test. The results showed an increase of 12.2941, indicating that YouTube improved listening skills. Utilizing YouTube included searching for material, watching and listening to the content, analyzing, and distributing it to students and teachers. It is recommended that teachers provide sufficient time and opportunities for students to develop their abilities independently through YouTube, with consistent evaluation and supervision as the key to successful learning.
